BACKGROUND Epidemiological studies have found that the prevalence of chronic heart failure in China is 0.9%,the number of people affected is more than 4 million,and the 5-year survival rate is even lower than that of ...BACKGROUND Epidemiological studies have found that the prevalence of chronic heart failure in China is 0.9%,the number of people affected is more than 4 million,and the 5-year survival rate is even lower than that of malignant tumors.AIM To determine the impact of WeChat platform-based health management on severe chronic heart failure patients’health and self-management efficacy.METHODS A total of 120 patients suffering from chronic heart failure with cardiac function grade III-IV,under the classification of the New York Heart Association,were admitted to our hospital in May 2017.In January 2020,they were divided into two groups:A control group(with routine nursing intervention)and an observation group(with WeChat platform-based health management intervention).Changes in cardiac function,6-min walking distance(6MWD),high-sensitivity cardiac troponin(hs-cTnT),and N-terminal pro B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)were detected in both groups.The Self-Care Ability Scale(ESCA)score,Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire score,and compliance score were used to evaluate self-management ability,quality of life,and compliance of the two groups.During a follow-up period of 12 mo,the occurrence of cardiovascular adverse events in both the groups was counted.RESULTS The left ventricular ejection fraction,stroke output,and 6MWD increased,and the hs-cTnT and NT-proBNP decreased in both the groups,as compared to those before the intervention.Further,cardiac function during the 6MWD,hs-cTnT,and NT-proBNP improved significantly in the observation group after intervention(P<0.05).The scores of self-care responsibility,self-concept,self-care skills,and selfcare health knowledge in the observation group were higher than those of the control group before intervention,and their ESCA scores were significantly improved after intervention(P<0.05).The Minnesota heart failure quality of life(LiHFe)scores of physical restriction,disease symptoms,psychological emotion,social relations,and other items were decreased compared to those of the control group before intervention,and the LiHFe scores of the observation group were significantly improved compared to those of the control group(P<0.05).With intervention,the compliance scores of rational diet,regular medication,healthy behavior,and timely reexamination were increased,thereby leading to the compliance scores of the observation group being significantly improved compared to those of the control group(P<0.05).During the 12 mo follow-up,the incidence rates of acute myocardial infarction and cardiogenic rehospitalization in the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the hospitalization time in the observation group was shorter than that of the control group,but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION WeChat platform-based health management can improve the self-care ability and compliance of patients with severe chronic heart failure,improve the cardiac function and related indexes,reduce the occurrence of cardiovascular adverse events,and enable the avoidance of rehospitalization.展开更多

Methods: 120 anesthesiology residents from January 2018 to the end of December 2019 were selected, and divided into a control group and an observation group of 60 each according to the time sequence of admission. The control group adopted the conventional teaching mode, and the observation group adopted the WeChat platform combined PBL teaching method. The scores of theoretical knowledge and anesthesia skills operation after training, the scores of the teaching interest survey, and the satisfaction with the teaching mode between the two groups were compared. Results: The scores of theoretical knowledge and anesthesia skills operation in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the indicators of teaching interest in the observation group were also higher than those in the control group. The differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The satisfaction degree of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was also statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The WeChat platform combined with the PBL teaching method is beneficial to improve the training effect of anesthesiology residents, stimulating autonomous learning ability, ensuring the effective practice of theoretical knowledge, and promoting them to move towards a higher standard of anesthesia skills.展开更多

Various public health propaganda methods are use...In this study, the five-in-one community mass prevention and mass treatment group established in Wuhan to curb novel coronavirus outbreak in 2019 to 2020 is introduced. Various public health propaganda methods are used, including community loudspeakers and community bulletin boards. In the meantime, WeChat platform account named “Wuhan neighborhood on WeChat” is registered and opened, and a Group Chat on WeChat is created for grid management. A diversity of on-line and off-line countermeasures against the novel coronavirus outbreak are implemented via the WeChat platform: three-early measures (early discovery, early reporting, and early treatment), centralized management, community-based reporting, hierarchical diagnosis, and treatment system, isolation of mild patients at designated facilities, diagnosis and treatment appointment system for patients with fever, patient transferral in special vehicles, terminal disinfection at homes, psychological support and daily caring plan for special populations. This WeChat platform allows for an all-region, all-around, all-time and entire population-coverage control of novel coronavirus outbreak, with the extension and strengthening of health propaganda, guidance for seeking medical assistance, mass prevention and mass treatment, and health self-management among the community residents. Great effect has been achieved in novel coronavirus control so far. The five-in-one community management mode of Wuhan plus “Wuhan neighborhood on WeChat” plays an important role in relieving the shortage of health service resources and resolving the problem of limited service scope of professional medical staff in Wuhan, and ultimately contributes to the overall novel coronavirus control.展开更多

Methods: 62 stroke patients with hypertension discharged from the rehabilitation department of a tertiary A hospital in Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from October 2022 to April 2023 were sampled by convenience sampling method. Patients discharged from Rehabilitation I were included in the control group, and conventional nursing care was used;while patients discharged from Rehabilitation II were included in the observation group, and WeChat platform continuity of nursing care model based on the KAP theory was implemented. The intervention effect of the two groups was compared. Results: After 4 and 12 weeks of intervention, the diastolic and systolic blood pressure of the patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05);after 12 weeks of intervention, the rate of medication adherence and the score of adherence to hypertension treatment in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The application of the WeChat platform continuity of care model based on KAP theory to stroke patients with hypertension can improve blood pressure, medication adherence rate, hypertension treatment adherence, and overall enhance the self-management level of these patients.展开更多

Methods: the September 2018 to June 2019 was selected as the research period and the data was recorded in the database for that period. A total of 110 patients were enrolled and diagnosed with diabetes were selected as the research objects. The basic data of the patients were recorded, and the patients were evenly divided into two groups by the database. The samples in the group were 55, and the patients were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group by the system. Patients in the control group were given routine nursing intervention after discharge, while patients in the experimental group were given extended nursing service after discharge. The nursing quality of two groups was compared. Results: the self-management ability in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group. The results were statistically significant (P < 0.05). In addition, the blood glucose level of the experimental group was well controlled. Compared with the control group, the blood glucose level of the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group. The difference was significant, (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the application of Wechat platform in the extended nursing service for patients with diabetes can further improve the condition of patients to a certain extent, which is of positive significance and of good applicable value for the follow-up treatment of patients.展开更多

Methods: 80 clinical nurses who received training in our hospital from 2021 to 2023 were randomly selected as research objects. According to the time of admission, they were divided into the control group and the experimental group, 40 in each group. The control group adopted the conventional nursing teaching method, while the experimental group adopted the traditional nursing practice teaching method in the operating room. The evaluation scores of the two groups in terms of theoretical knowledge and nursing practice in the operating room were compared. Results: the theoretical and practical scores of the nursing students in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and there was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: the teaching teachers can choose WeChat platform as an auxiliary means of nursing teaching in the operating room. The teaching effect is more ideal and has promotional value.展开更多

Methods: 60 patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis in our hospital from January 2019 to January 2021 were randomly divided into control group and extended care group. The extended care group used wechat platform for extended care, while the control group only used routine care. The SF-36 score of quality of life scale before and after care was compared between the two groups, and the nursing satisfaction and compliance behavior of patients outside hospital were compared between the two groups. Results: comparison of SF-36 score of quality of life scale between the two groups before nursing, P > 0.05, after nursing, SF-36 score of the two groups were significantly increased, and the SF-36 score of the extended nursing group was significantly higher than that of the control group, P <0.05. Nursing satisfaction of patients in extended nursing group was higher than that in control group, P <0.05. The compliance behavior of patients in extended nursing group was higher than that in control group, P <0.05. Conclusion: the clinical effect of extended care on wechat platform for patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis is definite, which is beneficial to improve patients' quality of life, improve patients' compliance behavior outside hospital, and improve patients' satisfaction, which is worthy of promotion.展开更多

文摘Objective To analyze of the status of pharmaceutical WeChat public platforms,and to put forward some suggestions for its future development.Methods PEST-SWOT matrix model for the pharmaceutical WeChat public platforms was constructed to sort out the strength,weakness,opportunities and threats of the platforms compared with the traditional health information communication media.Results and Conclusion Pharmaceutical WeChat public platform has such features as strong flexibility,high industrial sensitivity and wide communication resources.However,it has also the disadvantages of too general content and homogenization,unclearly positioning and single feedback path.From the perspective of SO,ST,WO and WT,the development strategy of pharmaceutical WeChat public platform is to offer accurate information with the big data to create new way of media thinking,to define its own positioning so as to provide vertical service,and to enhance its professionalism.
文摘Objective: To explore the impact of the WeChat platform continuity of care model based on the KAP (knowledge, attitudes, and practices) theory on the self-management of stroke patients with hypertension after discharge from the hospital. Methods: 62 stroke patients with hypertension discharged from the rehabilitation department of a tertiary A hospital in Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from October 2022 to April 2023 were sampled by convenience sampling method. Patients discharged from Rehabilitation I were included in the control group, and conventional nursing care was used;while patients discharged from Rehabilitation II were included in the observation group, and WeChat platform continuity of nursing care model based on the KAP theory was implemented. The intervention effect of the two groups was compared. Results: After 4 and 12 weeks of intervention, the diastolic and systolic blood pressure of the patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05);after 12 weeks of intervention, the rate of medication adherence and the score of adherence to hypertension treatment in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The application of the WeChat platform continuity of care model based on KAP theory to stroke patients with hypertension can improve blood pressure, medication adherence rate, hypertension treatment adherence, and overall enhance the self-management level of these patients.
文摘Objective: to explore the effect of diabetic knowledge Wechat platform in diabetes nursing extended service, and analyze its clinical usability. Methods: the September 2018 to June 2019 was selected as the research period and the data was recorded in the database for that period. A total of 110 patients were enrolled and diagnosed with diabetes were selected as the research objects. The basic data of the patients were recorded, and the patients were evenly divided into two groups by the database. The samples in the group were 55, and the patients were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group by the system. Patients in the control group were given routine nursing intervention after discharge, while patients in the experimental group were given extended nursing service after discharge. The nursing quality of two groups was compared. Results: the self-management ability in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group. The results were statistically significant (P < 0.05). In addition, the blood glucose level of the experimental group was well controlled. Compared with the control group, the blood glucose level of the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group. The difference was significant, (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the application of Wechat platform in the extended nursing service for patients with diabetes can further improve the condition of patients to a certain extent, which is of positive significance and of good applicable value for the follow-up treatment of patients.
文摘Objective: the purpose of this study is to discuss the application method and effect of mobile teaching based on WeChat platform in nursing teaching in operating room, and to clarify the application value of this method. Methods: 80 clinical nurses who received training in our hospital from 2021 to 2023 were randomly selected as research objects. According to the time of admission, they were divided into the control group and the experimental group, 40 in each group. The control group adopted the conventional nursing teaching method, while the experimental group adopted the traditional nursing practice teaching method in the operating room. The evaluation scores of the two groups in terms of theoretical knowledge and nursing practice in the operating room were compared. Results: the theoretical and practical scores of the nursing students in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and there was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: the teaching teachers can choose WeChat platform as an auxiliary means of nursing teaching in the operating room. The teaching effect is more ideal and has promotional value.
文摘Objective: to explore the influence of extended care on out-of-hospital compliance behavior and quality of life of patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis through wechat platform. Methods: 60 patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis in our hospital from January 2019 to January 2021 were randomly divided into control group and extended care group. The extended care group used wechat platform for extended care, while the control group only used routine care. The SF-36 score of quality of life scale before and after care was compared between the two groups, and the nursing satisfaction and compliance behavior of patients outside hospital were compared between the two groups. Results: comparison of SF-36 score of quality of life scale between the two groups before nursing, P > 0.05, after nursing, SF-36 score of the two groups were significantly increased, and the SF-36 score of the extended nursing group was significantly higher than that of the control group, P <0.05. Nursing satisfaction of patients in extended nursing group was higher than that in control group, P <0.05. The compliance behavior of patients in extended nursing group was higher than that in control group, P <0.05. Conclusion: the clinical effect of extended care on wechat platform for patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis is definite, which is beneficial to improve patients' quality of life, improve patients' compliance behavior outside hospital, and improve patients' satisfaction, which is worthy of promotion.
