Ionic covalent organic framework(COF)lamellar membranes are the alternative materials as promising Li^(+)conductors for all-solid-state lithium batteries.However,COF lamellar membrane suffers from poor structural stab...Ionic covalent organic framework(COF)lamellar membranes are the alternative materials as promising Li^(+)conductors for all-solid-state lithium batteries.However,COF lamellar membrane suffers from poor structural stability and inevitable cross-layer transfer resistance due to the weak interaction at interface of adjacent nanosheets.Herein,a lamellar polymer-threaded ionic COF(PEI@TpPa-SO_(3)Li)composite electrolyte with single Li^(+)conduction was prepared by assembling lithium sulfonated COF(TpPa-SO_(3)Li)nanosheets and then threading them with polyethyleneimine(PEI)chains.It reveals that the threaded PEI chains induce the oriented permutation of pore channel of PEI@TpPa-SO_(3)Li electrolyte through electrostatic interaction between-NH_(2)/-NH-and-SO_(3)Li groups.This enables the construction of continuous and aligned-SO_(3)^(-)...Li^(+)...-NH_(2)/-NH-pairs along pore channels,which act as efficient Li^(+)conducting sites and afford high Li^(+)hopping conduction(1.4×10^(-4)S cm^(-1)at 30℃)with a high Young's modulus of 408.7 MP and wide electrochemical stability window of 0~4.7 V.The assembled LiFePO_(4)‖Li and LiNi_(0.8)Mn_(0.1)Co_(0.1)O_(2)‖Li half-cells achieve high discharge capacities of 155.0 mAh g^(-1)and 167.2 mAh g^(-1)at 30℃under0.2 C,respectively,with high capacity retention of 98%after 300 cycles.This study provides an alternative route to highly ion-conductive lamellar porous electrolytes for high-performance energy devices.展开更多
BACKGROUND In an era leaning toward a personalized alignment of total knee arthroplasty,coronal plane alignment of the knee(CPAK)phenotypes for each population are studied;furthermore,other possible variables affectin...BACKGROUND In an era leaning toward a personalized alignment of total knee arthroplasty,coronal plane alignment of the knee(CPAK)phenotypes for each population are studied;furthermore,other possible variables affecting the alignment,such as ankle joint alignment,should be considered.AIM To determine CPAK distribution in the North African(Egyptian)population with knee osteoarthritis and to assess ankle joint line orientation(AJLO)adaptations across different CPAK types.METHODS A cross-sectional study was conducted on patients with primary knee osteoarthritis and normal ankle joints.Radiographic parameters included the mechanical lateral distal femoral angle,medial proximal tibial angle,and the derived calculations of joint line obliquity(JLO)and arithmetic hip-knee-ankle angle(aHKA).The tibial plafond horizontal angle(TPHA)was used for AJLO assessment,where 0°is neutral(type N),<0°is varus(type A),and>0°is valgus(type B).The nine CPAK types were further divided into 27 subtypes after incorporating the three AJLO types.RESULTS A total of 527 patients(1054 knees)were included for CPAK classification,and 435 patients(870 knees and ankles)for AJLO assessment.The mean age was 57.2±7.8 years,with 79.5%females.Most knees(76.4%)demonstrated varus alignment(mean aHKA was-5.51°±4.84°)and apex distal JLO(55.3%)(mean JLO was 176.43°±4.53°).CPAK types I(44.3%),IV(28.6%),and II(10%)were the most common.Regarding AJLO,70.2%of ankles exhibited varus orientation(mean TPHA was-5.21°±6.45°).The most frequent combined subtypes were CPAK type I-A(33.7%),IV-A(21.5%),and I-N(6.9%).A significant positive correlation was found between the TPHA and aHKA(r=0.40,P<0.001).CONCLUSION In this North African cohort,varus knee alignment with apex distal JLO and varus AJLO predominated.CPAK types I,IV,and II were the most common types,while subtypes I-A,IV-A,and I-N were commonly occurring after incorporating AJLO types;furthermore,the AJLO was significantly correlated to aHKA.展开更多
The high-quality assembly of Large Aircraft Components(LACs)is essential in modern aviation manufacturing.Numerical control locators are employed for the posture adjustment of LAC,yet the system's multi-input mult...The high-quality assembly of Large Aircraft Components(LACs)is essential in modern aviation manufacturing.Numerical control locators are employed for the posture adjustment of LAC,yet the system's multi-input multi-output,nonlinearity,and strong coupling presents significant challenges.The substantial internal force generated during the adjustment process can potentially damage the LAC and degrade the assembly quality.Hence,a workspace-based hybrid force position control scheme was developed to achieve high quality assembly with high-precision and lower internal force.Firstly,an offline workspace analysis with inherent geometric characteristics to form time-varying posture error constraint.Then,the posture error is integrated into the online position axis control to ensure tracking the ideal posture,while the force control axis compensates for posture deviation by minimizing internal force,thereby achieving high precision and low internal force.Finally,the effectiveness was demonstrated through experiments.The root mean square errors of orientation and position are 104 rad and 0.1 mm,respectively.A reduction in internal force can range from 10.96%to 57.4%compared to the traditional method.Key points'max position error is decreased from 0.32 mm to 0.18 mm,satisfying the 0.5 mm tolerance.Therefore,the proposed method will help promote the development of high-performance manufacturing.展开更多

The fuzzy PID controller is developed by combining the fuzzy approach with the PID control method, and the parameters of the PID controller can be adjusted on line based on the ability of the fuzzy controller. Simulations using the dynamic model of the space manipulator have shown the effectiveness of the algorithm in the trajectory tracking problem. Compared with the results of conventional PID control,the control performance of the fuzzy PID is more effective for manipulator trajectory control.展开更多
AIM:To assess strabismus control and motor ocular alignment for basic exotropia surgery at 5y follow-up.METHODS:The medical records of 80 consecutive patients aged less than 17 years of age,who underwent surgery for...AIM:To assess strabismus control and motor ocular alignment for basic exotropia surgery at 5y follow-up.METHODS:The medical records of 80 consecutive patients aged less than 17 years of age,who underwent surgery for basic exotropia by a single surgeon between years 2000 to 2009 and completed a minimum of 5y follow-up post-operatively were reviewed.Pre- and post-operative characteristics were documented at 1wk,6mo,1,3 and 5y follow-up.Subjects at 5-year follow-up were assigned to the success group if they had a postoperative angle of deviation within 10 prism diopters of exotropia or within 5 prism diopters of esotropia for distance on prism cover test,and had moderate to good strabismus control.The remaining subjects were assigned to the failure group.RESULTS:Post-operative surgical success at one week was 75%,which decreased to 41% at 5y follow-up.The success group was noted to have more patching pre-operatively(P=0.003).The duration of patching a day(P=0.020) and total duration of patching preoperatively(P=0.030) was higher in the success group.Surgical success at 1y(P=0.004) and 3y(P=0.002) were associated with higher surgical success at 5y follow-up.CONCLUSION:Post-operative motor alignment and strabismus control for basic exotropia surgery at 1y and beyond is associated with higher exotropia surgery success at 5-year follow-up.There is an association between pre-operative patching and 5-year surgical success of basic intermittent exotropia surgery.展开更多

First, some portion of D2D pairs that are the farthest...An admission control algorithm based on beamforming and interference alignment for device-to-device( D2D) communication underlaying cellular networks is proposed. First, some portion of D2D pairs that are the farthest away from the base station( BS) is selected to perform joint zero-forcing beamforming together with the cellular user equipments( UEs) and is admitted to the cellular network. The interference of the BS transmitting signal to the cellular UEs and the portion of D2D pair is eliminated completely at the same time. Secondly,based on the idea of interference alignment,the definition of channel parallelism is given. The channel parallelism of the remaining D2D pairs which are not involved in joint zero-forcing beamforming is computed by using the channel state information from the BS to the D2D devices. The higher the channel parallelism,the less interference the D2D pair suffers from the BS. Finally,in a descending order of channel parallelism,the remaining D2D pairs are reviewed in succession to determine admission to the cellular network. The algorithm stops when the admission of a D2D pair decreases the system sum rate. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the interference of the BS transmitting signal for D2D pairs and significantly improve system capacity. Furthermore, D2D communication is more applicable to short-range links.展开更多
In the construction and maintenance of particle accelerators,all the accelerator elements should be installed in the same coordinate system,only in this way could the devices in the actual world be consistent with the...In the construction and maintenance of particle accelerators,all the accelerator elements should be installed in the same coordinate system,only in this way could the devices in the actual world be consistent with the design drawings.However,with the occurrence of the movements of the reinforced concrete cover plates at short notice or building deformations in the long term,the control points upon the engineering structure will be displaced,and the fitness between the subnetwork and the global control network may be irresponsible.Therefore,it is necessary to evaluate the deformations of the 3D alignment control network.Different from the extant investigations,in this paper,to characterize the deformations of the control network,all of the congruent models between the points measured in different epochs have been identified,and the congruence model with the most control points is considered as the primary or fundamental model,the remaining models are recognized as the additional ones.Furthermore,the discrepancies between the primary S-transformation parameters and the additional S-transformation parameters can reflect the relative movements of the additional congruence models.Both the iterative GCT method and the iterative combinatorial theory are proposed to detect multiple congruence models in the control network.Considering the actual work of the alignment,it is essential to identify the competitive models in the monitoring network,which can provide us a hint that,even the fitness between the subnetwork and the global control network is good,there are still deformations which may be ignored.The numerical experiments show that the suggested approaches can describe the deformation of the 3D alignment control network roundly.展开更多

The broad rot...This paper studies the molecular rotational excitation and field-free spatial alignment in a nonresonant intense laser field numerically and analytically by using the time-dependent SchrSdinger equation. The broad rotational wave packets excited by the femtosecond pulse are defined in conjugate angle space, and their coefficients are obtained by solving a set of coupled linear equations. Both single molecule orientation angles and an ensemble of O2 and CO molecule angular distributions are calculated in detail. The numerical results show that, for single molecule highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) symmetry σ tends to have a molecular orientation along the laser polarization direction and the permanent dipole moment diminishes the mean of the orientation angles; for an ensemble of molecules, angular distributions provide more complex and additional information at times where there are no revivals in the single molecule plot. In particular, at the revival peak instant, with the increase of temperature of the molecular ensemble, the anisotropic angular distributions with respect to the laser polarization direction of the πg orbital gradually transform to the symmetrical distributions regarding the laser polarization vector and for two HOMO configurations angular distributions of all directions are confined within a smaller angle when the temperature of the molecular ensemble is higher.展开更多

In this paper, the contact line receding velocity of a D-A conjugated polymer film, isoindigo and bithiophene(IIDDT-C3), was adjusted by solvent vapor content and film-formation temperature. Only when solvent vapor content was 0.3 m L and the film-formation temperature was 90C, the contact line receding velocity was in accordance with the critical alignment velocity, and the highest degree of alignment was attained in the IIDDT-C3 film, with the dichroic ratio up to 4.08. Fibers were aligned parallel with the direction of the contact line receding and the molecules of IIDDT-C3 adopted an edge-on orientation with the backbone parallel with the direction of fiber long axis. The p-p stacking distance between adjacent molecules was 3.63 ?.展开更多
A polarization-sensitive and flexible photodetector was fabricated through the precise alignment of perovskite nanowires(NWs)using a brush coating technique.The alignment of the NWs was meticulously examined,consideri...A polarization-sensitive and flexible photodetector was fabricated through the precise alignment of perovskite nanowires(NWs)using a brush coating technique.The alignment of the NWs was meticulously examined,considering various chemical properties of the solvent,such as boiling point,viscosity,and surface tension.Notably,when the NWs were brush-coated with toluene dispersion,the NWs were aligned in higher order than those processed from octane dispersion.The degree of alignment was correlated with the photodetector property.Especially,the well-aligned NW photodetector exhibited a two-fold disparity in current response contingent on the polarization direction.Furthermore,even after enduring 500 bending cycles,the device retained 80%of its photodetector performance.This approach underscores the potential of solution-processed flexible photodetectors for advanced optical applications under dynamic operating conditions.展开更多

With the rapid expansion of social media,analyzing emotions and their causes in texts has gained significant importance.Emotion-cause pair extraction enables the identification of causal relationships between emotions...With the rapid expansion of social media,analyzing emotions and their causes in texts has gained significant importance.Emotion-cause pair extraction enables the identification of causal relationships between emotions and their triggers within a text,facilitating a deeper understanding of expressed sentiments and their underlying reasons.This comprehension is crucial for making informed strategic decisions in various business and societal contexts.However,recent research approaches employing multi-task learning frameworks for modeling often face challenges such as the inability to simultaneouslymodel extracted features and their interactions,or inconsistencies in label prediction between emotion-cause pair extraction and independent assistant tasks like emotion and cause extraction.To address these issues,this study proposes an emotion-cause pair extraction methodology that incorporates joint feature encoding and task alignment mechanisms.The model consists of two primary components:First,joint feature encoding simultaneously generates features for emotion-cause pairs and clauses,enhancing feature interactions between emotion clauses,cause clauses,and emotion-cause pairs.Second,the task alignment technique is applied to reduce the labeling distance between emotion-cause pair extraction and the two assistant tasks,capturing deep semantic information interactions among tasks.The proposed method is evaluated on a Chinese benchmark corpus using 10-fold cross-validation,assessing key performance metrics such as precision,recall,and F1 score.Experimental results demonstrate that the model achieves an F1 score of 76.05%,surpassing the state-of-the-art by 1.03%.The proposed model exhibits significant improvements in emotion-cause pair extraction(ECPE)and cause extraction(CE)compared to existing methods,validating its effectiveness.This research introduces a novel approach based on joint feature encoding and task alignment mechanisms,contributing to advancements in emotion-cause pair extraction.However,the study’s limitation lies in the data sources,potentially restricting the generalizability of the findings.展开更多

A high pattern resolution is critical for fabricating roll-to-roll printed electronics(R2RPE)products.For enhanced overlay alignment accuracy,position errors between the printer and the substrate web must be eliminate...A high pattern resolution is critical for fabricating roll-to-roll printed electronics(R2RPE)products.For enhanced overlay alignment accuracy,position errors between the printer and the substrate web must be eliminated,particularly in inkjet printing applications.This paper proposes a novel five-degree-of-freedom(5-DOF)flexure-based alignment stage to adjust the posture of an inkjet printer head.The stage effectively compensates for positioning errors between the actuation mechanism and manipulated objects through a series-parallel combination of compliant substructures.Voice coil motors(VCMs)and linear motors serve as actuators to achieve the required motion.Theoretical models were established using a pseudo-rigid-body model(PRBM)methodology and were validated through finite element analysis(FEA).Finally,an alignment stage prototype was fabricated for an experiment.The prototype test results showed that the developed positioning platform attains 5-DOF motion capabilities with 335.1μm×418.9μm×408.1μm×3.4 mrad×3.29 mrad,with cross-axis coupling errors below 0.11%along y-and z-axes.This paper pro-poses a novel 5-DOF flexure-based alignment stage that can be used for error compensation in R2RPE and effectively improves the interlayer alignment accuracy of multi-layer printing.展开更多
Video classification is an important task in video understanding and plays a pivotal role in intelligent monitoring of information content.Most existing methods do not consider the multimodal nature of the video,and t...Video classification is an important task in video understanding and plays a pivotal role in intelligent monitoring of information content.Most existing methods do not consider the multimodal nature of the video,and the modality fusion approach tends to be too simple,often neglecting modality alignment before fusion.This research introduces a novel dual stream multimodal alignment and fusion network named DMAFNet for classifying short videos.The network uses two unimodal encoder modules to extract features within modalities and exploits a multimodal encoder module to learn interaction between modalities.To solve the modality alignment problem,contrastive learning is introduced between two unimodal encoder modules.Additionally,masked language modeling(MLM)and video text matching(VTM)auxiliary tasks are introduced to improve the interaction between video frames and text modalities through backpropagation of loss functions.Diverse experiments prove the efficiency of DMAFNet in multimodal video classification tasks.Compared with other two mainstream baselines,DMAFNet achieves the best results on the 2022 WeChat Big Data Challenge dataset.展开更多
Large language models(LLMs)represent significant advancements in artificial intelligence.However,their increasing capabilities come with a serious challenge:misalignment,which refers to the deviation of model behavior...Large language models(LLMs)represent significant advancements in artificial intelligence.However,their increasing capabilities come with a serious challenge:misalignment,which refers to the deviation of model behavior from the designers’intentions and human values.This review aims to synthesize the current understanding of the LLM misalignment issue and provide researchers and practitioners with a comprehensive overview.We define the concept of misalignment and elaborate on its various manifestations,including generating harmful content,factual errors(hallucinations),propagating biases,failing to follow instructions,emerging deceptive behaviors,and emergent misalignment.We explore the multifaceted causes of misalignment,systematically analyzing factors from surface-level technical issues(e.g.,training data,objective function design,model scaling)to deeper fundamental challenges(e.g.,difficulties formalizing values,discrepancies between training signals and real intentions).This review covers existing and emerging techniques for detecting and evaluating the degree of misalignment,such as benchmark tests,red-teaming,and formal safety assessments.Subsequently,we examine strategies to mitigate misalignment,focusing on mainstream alignment techniques such as RLHF,Constitutional AI(CAI),instruction fine-tuning,and novel approaches that address scalability and robustness.In particular,we analyze recent advances in misalignment attack research,including system prompt modifications,supervised fine-tuning,self-supervised representation attacks,and model editing,which challenge the robustness of model alignment.We categorize and analyze the surveyed literature,highlighting major findings,persistent limitations,and current contentious points.Finally,we identify key open questions and propose several promising future research directions,including constructing high-quality alignment datasets,exploring novel alignment methods,coordinating diverse values,and delving into the deep philosophical aspects of alignment.This work underscores the complexity and multidimensionality of LLM misalignment issues,calling for interdisciplinary approaches to reliably align LLMs with human values.展开更多

文摘Ionic covalent organic framework(COF)lamellar membranes are the alternative materials as promising Li^(+)conductors for all-solid-state lithium batteries.However,COF lamellar membrane suffers from poor structural stability and inevitable cross-layer transfer resistance due to the weak interaction at interface of adjacent nanosheets.Herein,a lamellar polymer-threaded ionic COF(PEI@TpPa-SO_(3)Li)composite electrolyte with single Li^(+)conduction was prepared by assembling lithium sulfonated COF(TpPa-SO_(3)Li)nanosheets and then threading them with polyethyleneimine(PEI)chains.It reveals that the threaded PEI chains induce the oriented permutation of pore channel of PEI@TpPa-SO_(3)Li electrolyte through electrostatic interaction between-NH_(2)/-NH-and-SO_(3)Li groups.This enables the construction of continuous and aligned-SO_(3)^(-)...Li^(+)...-NH_(2)/-NH-pairs along pore channels,which act as efficient Li^(+)conducting sites and afford high Li^(+)hopping conduction(1.4×10^(-4)S cm^(-1)at 30℃)with a high Young's modulus of 408.7 MP and wide electrochemical stability window of 0~4.7 V.The assembled LiFePO_(4)‖Li and LiNi_(0.8)Mn_(0.1)Co_(0.1)O_(2)‖Li half-cells achieve high discharge capacities of 155.0 mAh g^(-1)and 167.2 mAh g^(-1)at 30℃under0.2 C,respectively,with high capacity retention of 98%after 300 cycles.This study provides an alternative route to highly ion-conductive lamellar porous electrolytes for high-performance energy devices.

文摘BACKGROUND In an era leaning toward a personalized alignment of total knee arthroplasty,coronal plane alignment of the knee(CPAK)phenotypes for each population are studied;furthermore,other possible variables affecting the alignment,such as ankle joint alignment,should be considered.AIM To determine CPAK distribution in the North African(Egyptian)population with knee osteoarthritis and to assess ankle joint line orientation(AJLO)adaptations across different CPAK types.METHODS A cross-sectional study was conducted on patients with primary knee osteoarthritis and normal ankle joints.Radiographic parameters included the mechanical lateral distal femoral angle,medial proximal tibial angle,and the derived calculations of joint line obliquity(JLO)and arithmetic hip-knee-ankle angle(aHKA).The tibial plafond horizontal angle(TPHA)was used for AJLO assessment,where 0°is neutral(type N),<0°is varus(type A),and>0°is valgus(type B).The nine CPAK types were further divided into 27 subtypes after incorporating the three AJLO types.RESULTS A total of 527 patients(1054 knees)were included for CPAK classification,and 435 patients(870 knees and ankles)for AJLO assessment.The mean age was 57.2±7.8 years,with 79.5%females.Most knees(76.4%)demonstrated varus alignment(mean aHKA was-5.51°±4.84°)and apex distal JLO(55.3%)(mean JLO was 176.43°±4.53°).CPAK types I(44.3%),IV(28.6%),and II(10%)were the most common.Regarding AJLO,70.2%of ankles exhibited varus orientation(mean TPHA was-5.21°±6.45°).The most frequent combined subtypes were CPAK type I-A(33.7%),IV-A(21.5%),and I-N(6.9%).A significant positive correlation was found between the TPHA and aHKA(r=0.40,P<0.001).CONCLUSION In this North African cohort,varus knee alignment with apex distal JLO and varus AJLO predominated.CPAK types I,IV,and II were the most common types,while subtypes I-A,IV-A,and I-N were commonly occurring after incorporating AJLO types;furthermore,the AJLO was significantly correlated to aHKA.

文摘The high-quality assembly of Large Aircraft Components(LACs)is essential in modern aviation manufacturing.Numerical control locators are employed for the posture adjustment of LAC,yet the system's multi-input multi-output,nonlinearity,and strong coupling presents significant challenges.The substantial internal force generated during the adjustment process can potentially damage the LAC and degrade the assembly quality.Hence,a workspace-based hybrid force position control scheme was developed to achieve high quality assembly with high-precision and lower internal force.Firstly,an offline workspace analysis with inherent geometric characteristics to form time-varying posture error constraint.Then,the posture error is integrated into the online position axis control to ensure tracking the ideal posture,while the force control axis compensates for posture deviation by minimizing internal force,thereby achieving high precision and low internal force.Finally,the effectiveness was demonstrated through experiments.The root mean square errors of orientation and position are 104 rad and 0.1 mm,respectively.A reduction in internal force can range from 10.96%to 57.4%compared to the traditional method.Key points'max position error is decreased from 0.32 mm to 0.18 mm,satisfying the 0.5 mm tolerance.Therefore,the proposed method will help promote the development of high-performance manufacturing.

文摘Considering gravity change from ground alignment to space applications, a fuzzy proportional-integral-differential(PID)control strategy is proposed to make the space manipulator track the desired trajectories in different gravity environments. The fuzzy PID controller is developed by combining the fuzzy approach with the PID control method, and the parameters of the PID controller can be adjusted on line based on the ability of the fuzzy controller. Simulations using the dynamic model of the space manipulator have shown the effectiveness of the algorithm in the trajectory tracking problem. Compared with the results of conventional PID control,the control performance of the fuzzy PID is more effective for manipulator trajectory control.
文摘AIM:To assess strabismus control and motor ocular alignment for basic exotropia surgery at 5y follow-up.METHODS:The medical records of 80 consecutive patients aged less than 17 years of age,who underwent surgery for basic exotropia by a single surgeon between years 2000 to 2009 and completed a minimum of 5y follow-up post-operatively were reviewed.Pre- and post-operative characteristics were documented at 1wk,6mo,1,3 and 5y follow-up.Subjects at 5-year follow-up were assigned to the success group if they had a postoperative angle of deviation within 10 prism diopters of exotropia or within 5 prism diopters of esotropia for distance on prism cover test,and had moderate to good strabismus control.The remaining subjects were assigned to the failure group.RESULTS:Post-operative surgical success at one week was 75%,which decreased to 41% at 5y follow-up.The success group was noted to have more patching pre-operatively(P=0.003).The duration of patching a day(P=0.020) and total duration of patching preoperatively(P=0.030) was higher in the success group.Surgical success at 1y(P=0.004) and 3y(P=0.002) were associated with higher surgical success at 5y follow-up.CONCLUSION:Post-operative motor alignment and strabismus control for basic exotropia surgery at 1y and beyond is associated with higher exotropia surgery success at 5-year follow-up.There is an association between pre-operative patching and 5-year surgical success of basic intermittent exotropia surgery.

文摘The general construction procedure of the steel middle pylon is briefly introduced. The alignment control of the pylon is carried out during the whole process of the construction. The control concept is extended to the manufacture stage. The manufacturing alignment error is strictly controlled in the segments precast process in factory, and the error is recognized and predicted precisely during the installation stage. The adjusting joints are employed to amend the accumulated error, which ensure that the steel pylon alignment could satisfy the precision requirements after installation.

文摘An admission control algorithm based on beamforming and interference alignment for device-to-device( D2D) communication underlaying cellular networks is proposed. First, some portion of D2D pairs that are the farthest away from the base station( BS) is selected to perform joint zero-forcing beamforming together with the cellular user equipments( UEs) and is admitted to the cellular network. The interference of the BS transmitting signal to the cellular UEs and the portion of D2D pair is eliminated completely at the same time. Secondly,based on the idea of interference alignment,the definition of channel parallelism is given. The channel parallelism of the remaining D2D pairs which are not involved in joint zero-forcing beamforming is computed by using the channel state information from the BS to the D2D devices. The higher the channel parallelism,the less interference the D2D pair suffers from the BS. Finally,in a descending order of channel parallelism,the remaining D2D pairs are reviewed in succession to determine admission to the cellular network. The algorithm stops when the admission of a D2D pair decreases the system sum rate. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the interference of the BS transmitting signal for D2D pairs and significantly improve system capacity. Furthermore, D2D communication is more applicable to short-range links.
文摘In the construction and maintenance of particle accelerators,all the accelerator elements should be installed in the same coordinate system,only in this way could the devices in the actual world be consistent with the design drawings.However,with the occurrence of the movements of the reinforced concrete cover plates at short notice or building deformations in the long term,the control points upon the engineering structure will be displaced,and the fitness between the subnetwork and the global control network may be irresponsible.Therefore,it is necessary to evaluate the deformations of the 3D alignment control network.Different from the extant investigations,in this paper,to characterize the deformations of the control network,all of the congruent models between the points measured in different epochs have been identified,and the congruence model with the most control points is considered as the primary or fundamental model,the remaining models are recognized as the additional ones.Furthermore,the discrepancies between the primary S-transformation parameters and the additional S-transformation parameters can reflect the relative movements of the additional congruence models.Both the iterative GCT method and the iterative combinatorial theory are proposed to detect multiple congruence models in the control network.Considering the actual work of the alignment,it is essential to identify the competitive models in the monitoring network,which can provide us a hint that,even the fitness between the subnetwork and the global control network is good,there are still deformations which may be ignored.The numerical experiments show that the suggested approaches can describe the deformation of the 3D alignment control network roundly.

Therefore, the present results provides essential reference and approach for the numerical control reformation of general machine tool.

文摘This paper studies the molecular rotational excitation and field-free spatial alignment in a nonresonant intense laser field numerically and analytically by using the time-dependent SchrSdinger equation. The broad rotational wave packets excited by the femtosecond pulse are defined in conjugate angle space, and their coefficients are obtained by solving a set of coupled linear equations. Both single molecule orientation angles and an ensemble of O2 and CO molecule angular distributions are calculated in detail. The numerical results show that, for single molecule highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) symmetry σ tends to have a molecular orientation along the laser polarization direction and the permanent dipole moment diminishes the mean of the orientation angles; for an ensemble of molecules, angular distributions provide more complex and additional information at times where there are no revivals in the single molecule plot. In particular, at the revival peak instant, with the increase of temperature of the molecular ensemble, the anisotropic angular distributions with respect to the laser polarization direction of the πg orbital gradually transform to the symmetrical distributions regarding the laser polarization vector and for two HOMO configurations angular distributions of all directions are confined within a smaller angle when the temperature of the molecular ensemble is higher.

文摘The coherent control of molecular alignment and orientation by a femtosecond two-color laser pulse is studied theoretically.The effect of the carrier-envelope phase of the femtosecond two-color laser pulse on molecular alignment and orientation is discussed,and it is shown that the enhancement or suppression of the molecular orientation can be coherently manipulated by precisely controlling the carrier-envelope phase of the femtosecond two-color laser pulse.In addition,the time-dependent angular distributions of the molecular axis are presented.

文摘The macroscopic alignment of conjugated polymers with low grain boundary is essential to carrier transport. During film forming process, the match between contact line receding velocity and the critical alignment velocity is essential to get the alignment polymer film. In this paper, the contact line receding velocity of a D-A conjugated polymer film, isoindigo and bithiophene(IIDDT-C3), was adjusted by solvent vapor content and film-formation temperature. Only when solvent vapor content was 0.3 m L and the film-formation temperature was 90C, the contact line receding velocity was in accordance with the critical alignment velocity, and the highest degree of alignment was attained in the IIDDT-C3 film, with the dichroic ratio up to 4.08. Fibers were aligned parallel with the direction of the contact line receding and the molecules of IIDDT-C3 adopted an edge-on orientation with the backbone parallel with the direction of fiber long axis. The p-p stacking distance between adjacent molecules was 3.63 ?.

文摘A polarization-sensitive and flexible photodetector was fabricated through the precise alignment of perovskite nanowires(NWs)using a brush coating technique.The alignment of the NWs was meticulously examined,considering various chemical properties of the solvent,such as boiling point,viscosity,and surface tension.Notably,when the NWs were brush-coated with toluene dispersion,the NWs were aligned in higher order than those processed from octane dispersion.The degree of alignment was correlated with the photodetector property.Especially,the well-aligned NW photodetector exhibited a two-fold disparity in current response contingent on the polarization direction.Furthermore,even after enduring 500 bending cycles,the device retained 80%of its photodetector performance.This approach underscores the potential of solution-processed flexible photodetectors for advanced optical applications under dynamic operating conditions.

文摘Nanocrystals have emerged as cutting-edge functional materials benefiting from the increased surface and enhanced coupling of electronic states.High-resolution imaging in transmission electron microscope can provide invaluable structural information of crystalline materials,albeit it remains greatly challenging to nanocrystals due to the arduousness of accurate zone axis adjustment.Herein,a homemade software package,called SmartAxis,is developed for rapid yet accurate zone axis alignment of nanocrystals.Incident electron beam tilt is employed as an eccentric goniometer to measure the angular deviation of a crystal to a zone axis,and then serves as a linkage to calculate theαandβtilts of goniometer based on an accurate quantitative relationship.In this way,high-resolution imaging of one identical small Au nanocrystal,as well as electron beam-sensitive MIL-101 metal-organic framework crystals,along multiple zone axes,was performed successfully by using this accurate,time-and electron dose-saving zone axis alignment software package.
文摘With the rapid expansion of social media,analyzing emotions and their causes in texts has gained significant importance.Emotion-cause pair extraction enables the identification of causal relationships between emotions and their triggers within a text,facilitating a deeper understanding of expressed sentiments and their underlying reasons.This comprehension is crucial for making informed strategic decisions in various business and societal contexts.However,recent research approaches employing multi-task learning frameworks for modeling often face challenges such as the inability to simultaneouslymodel extracted features and their interactions,or inconsistencies in label prediction between emotion-cause pair extraction and independent assistant tasks like emotion and cause extraction.To address these issues,this study proposes an emotion-cause pair extraction methodology that incorporates joint feature encoding and task alignment mechanisms.The model consists of two primary components:First,joint feature encoding simultaneously generates features for emotion-cause pairs and clauses,enhancing feature interactions between emotion clauses,cause clauses,and emotion-cause pairs.Second,the task alignment technique is applied to reduce the labeling distance between emotion-cause pair extraction and the two assistant tasks,capturing deep semantic information interactions among tasks.The proposed method is evaluated on a Chinese benchmark corpus using 10-fold cross-validation,assessing key performance metrics such as precision,recall,and F1 score.Experimental results demonstrate that the model achieves an F1 score of 76.05%,surpassing the state-of-the-art by 1.03%.The proposed model exhibits significant improvements in emotion-cause pair extraction(ECPE)and cause extraction(CE)compared to existing methods,validating its effectiveness.This research introduces a novel approach based on joint feature encoding and task alignment mechanisms,contributing to advancements in emotion-cause pair extraction.However,the study’s limitation lies in the data sources,potentially restricting the generalizability of the findings.

文摘Active rods propelled along their long axis align their velocities and orientations simultaneously in collision.However,as the propulsion is perpendicular to the long axis,velocity alignment becomes dynamically difficult.Here,we show that ellipsoidal Quincke roller propelled along their short-axis(perpendicular to the long axis)can align their velocities by flipping and form flocking with nematic order.The flipping arises from the reversible transition between the static parallel spinless state and the spinning transversal state of ellipsoidal Quincke rollers.This is possible only near(above)the critical field where both the parallel spinless state and the spinning transversal spinning are metastable.The flipping-facilitated alignment offers an extra aligning mechanism for elongate active agents,and the resulting active liquid crystals serve a model system to explore the defect dynamics as the propulsion deviates from the local nematic orientation which has not been addressed yet.

文摘The band alignment between silicon and high-k dielectrics,which is a key factor in device operation and reliability,still suffers from uncontrolled fluctuations and ambiguous understanding.In this study,by conducting atomic-level ab initio calculations on realistic Si/SiO_(2)/HfO_(2)stacks,we reveal the physical origin of band alignment fluctuations,i.e.,the oxygen density-dependent interface and surface dipoles,and demonstrate that band offsets can be tuned without introducing other materials.This is instructive for reducing the gate tunneling current,alleviating device-to-device variation,and tuning the threshold voltage.Additionally,this study indicates that significant attention should be focused on model construction in emerging atomistic studies on semiconductor devices.

文摘A high pattern resolution is critical for fabricating roll-to-roll printed electronics(R2RPE)products.For enhanced overlay alignment accuracy,position errors between the printer and the substrate web must be eliminated,particularly in inkjet printing applications.This paper proposes a novel five-degree-of-freedom(5-DOF)flexure-based alignment stage to adjust the posture of an inkjet printer head.The stage effectively compensates for positioning errors between the actuation mechanism and manipulated objects through a series-parallel combination of compliant substructures.Voice coil motors(VCMs)and linear motors serve as actuators to achieve the required motion.Theoretical models were established using a pseudo-rigid-body model(PRBM)methodology and were validated through finite element analysis(FEA).Finally,an alignment stage prototype was fabricated for an experiment.The prototype test results showed that the developed positioning platform attains 5-DOF motion capabilities with 335.1μm×418.9μm×408.1μm×3.4 mrad×3.29 mrad,with cross-axis coupling errors below 0.11%along y-and z-axes.This paper pro-poses a novel 5-DOF flexure-based alignment stage that can be used for error compensation in R2RPE and effectively improves the interlayer alignment accuracy of multi-layer printing.

文摘Video classification is an important task in video understanding and plays a pivotal role in intelligent monitoring of information content.Most existing methods do not consider the multimodal nature of the video,and the modality fusion approach tends to be too simple,often neglecting modality alignment before fusion.This research introduces a novel dual stream multimodal alignment and fusion network named DMAFNet for classifying short videos.The network uses two unimodal encoder modules to extract features within modalities and exploits a multimodal encoder module to learn interaction between modalities.To solve the modality alignment problem,contrastive learning is introduced between two unimodal encoder modules.Additionally,masked language modeling(MLM)and video text matching(VTM)auxiliary tasks are introduced to improve the interaction between video frames and text modalities through backpropagation of loss functions.Diverse experiments prove the efficiency of DMAFNet in multimodal video classification tasks.Compared with other two mainstream baselines,DMAFNet achieves the best results on the 2022 WeChat Big Data Challenge dataset.

文摘Large language models(LLMs)represent significant advancements in artificial intelligence.However,their increasing capabilities come with a serious challenge:misalignment,which refers to the deviation of model behavior from the designers’intentions and human values.This review aims to synthesize the current understanding of the LLM misalignment issue and provide researchers and practitioners with a comprehensive overview.We define the concept of misalignment and elaborate on its various manifestations,including generating harmful content,factual errors(hallucinations),propagating biases,failing to follow instructions,emerging deceptive behaviors,and emergent misalignment.We explore the multifaceted causes of misalignment,systematically analyzing factors from surface-level technical issues(e.g.,training data,objective function design,model scaling)to deeper fundamental challenges(e.g.,difficulties formalizing values,discrepancies between training signals and real intentions).This review covers existing and emerging techniques for detecting and evaluating the degree of misalignment,such as benchmark tests,red-teaming,and formal safety assessments.Subsequently,we examine strategies to mitigate misalignment,focusing on mainstream alignment techniques such as RLHF,Constitutional AI(CAI),instruction fine-tuning,and novel approaches that address scalability and robustness.In particular,we analyze recent advances in misalignment attack research,including system prompt modifications,supervised fine-tuning,self-supervised representation attacks,and model editing,which challenge the robustness of model alignment.We categorize and analyze the surveyed literature,highlighting major findings,persistent limitations,and current contentious points.Finally,we identify key open questions and propose several promising future research directions,including constructing high-quality alignment datasets,exploring novel alignment methods,coordinating diverse values,and delving into the deep philosophical aspects of alignment.This work underscores the complexity and multidimensionality of LLM misalignment issues,calling for interdisciplinary approaches to reliably align LLMs with human values.
