Research on the Construction of Aesthetic Education Courses in Universities from an Interdisciplinary Integration Perspective:A Case Study of Sichuan University

Higher education increasingly emphasizes the unique role of aesthetic education in cultivating virtue and morality.From the perspective of integrating aesthetic education with teaching,this study develops an analytical framework to explore the theoretical foundations,practical pathways,and teaching mechanisms involved in interdisciplinary aesthetic education course construction at Sichuan University.Employing literature analysis and case studies,the paper systematically examines the theoretical basis of aesthetic education and its contemporary demands in higher education.Specifically,it focuses on Sichuan University’s initiatives in aesthetic education curriculum reform,covering practices such as curriculum design,faculty team development,resource coordination,and collaboration between internal and external institutions.Findings suggest that interdisciplinary aesthetic education courses enrich the content of aesthetic education in universities and enhance students’overall competence;however,these courses also face challenges like insufficient faculty and inadequate evaluation mechanisms during implementation.Consequently,this paper proposes strengthening top-level design,refining the curriculum system,enhancing faculty training,and improving evaluation mechanisms as recommendations for future improvement.This research aims to provide valuable references for aesthetic education reform in higher education in the new era,significantly contributing to interdisciplinary synergy and the comprehensive educational goal of integrating moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic,and labor education. 展开更多

Digitization is the inevitable path for the natural development of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.The goal of TCM digitization is to generate intelligence from numbers.Originating from the reasoning paradigm of Xiangshu(象数,image-number)or phenotype-numerology thinking,TCM came with a deep correlation of clinical observations with digits and laid a strong theoretical basis for digitization.The digitization of TCM should start from the clinical aspect,solve the problem of electronic medical records,achieve standardization and informatization,and on this basis,form a TCM knowledge base through knowledge-building.This process depends on the combined efforts of multiple disciplines such as medicine,mathematics,and engineering to achieve the digitization and intelligent transformation of TCM.This era calls for TCM to break down barriers,embrace opportunities,and move towards digitization.However,during the transformation,it should maintain its essence,avoid simplistic conversions,be guided by scientific value,leverage cutting-edge technologies,and enhance the depth and breadth of the interpretation of TCM connotations.The digitization of TCM will also improve its service capabilities,create an innovative digitally-intelligent TCM service platform,and contribute to the development of“Healthy China”initiatives with wisdom and solutions. 展开更多

Against the backdrop of inter-civilization exchanges and globalization,Beijing International Studies University has addressed the issues of“Sino-Western dual opposition”,“single classroom-based practice”,and“superficial interdisciplinary integration”in the traditional Basic Music Theory Course.With the goal of“integrating Chinese and foreign musical rhythms and cultivating humanistic envoys”,the university has conducted six years of exploration to build a cross-cultural practice system.By reconstructing a three-dimensional curriculum system of“Chinese foundation+Western theory+global diversity”,establishing a three-level practical platform of“classroom-campus-society”,deepening the interdisciplinary integration of“music+foreign languages/communication”,and adopting the“experience-collaboration-creation”three-stage teaching method,the course has transformed from mere music knowledge imparting to cross-cultural competence cultivation.After the reform,students have significantly improved their multicultural awareness and practical abilities,won multiple awards in competitions,and their multilingual musical works have been widely disseminated by the media.Additionally,the course has provided talent support for the“Belt and Road Initiative”and the construction of Beijing’s“Four Centers”.However,challenges remain,such as insufficient development of digital resources and an imperfect teaching evaluation system.In the future,efforts will be made to promote the integration of“music+digital intelligence”and optimize the evaluation system. 展开更多

With the shift in the definition of disease from non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)to metabolism-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD),as well as the rapid evolution of pathological classification and therapeutic targets,traditional clinical teaching models face challenges such as outdated guideline updates,disjointed translation of scientific research,and limited skill training.This study proposes a dynamic training model integrating“guidelines,clinical practice,and scientific research.”Through stratified case-based teaching(e.g.,FibroScan simulator and metabolic sand table),dynamic guideline analysis(comparing old and new evidence),and the integration of scientific thinking(visualization of CAND1 protein mechanism),a teaching system that integrates theory and practice is constructed.Innovatively developed smart assistant tools(AI decision support system,VR liver biopsy simulator)and a multi-dimensional evaluation system(deviation analysis of diagnosis and treatment pathways,milestone assessment)are used while emphasizing metabolic medicine integration(continuous glucose monitoring and digital therapy)and ethical privacy protection(federated learning framework).This model aims to cultivate students’evidence-based decision-making skills and scientific research transformation thinking through dynamic knowledge base construction and interdisciplinary collaboration,providing sustainable teaching solutions to cope with the rapid iteration of NAFLD diagnosis and treatment. 展开更多

This study explores the innovation and entrepreneurship education model in medical education under the background of“New Medical Science,”aiming to cultivate interdisciplinary talents that can meet the future healthcare needs.With the advancement of the national innovation strategy,“New Medical Science”emphasizes not only the transmission of professional knowledge but also the development of interdisciplinary integration and innovation capabilities to address the rapid changes in medical technology.A survey was conducted to assess the innovation and entrepreneurship competencies of medical students at Pingdingshan University.The results show that students have a high level of awareness and participation in innovation and entrepreneurship education,yet there is a need to strengthen the integration of skill enhancement with professional knowledge.Based on the survey findings and theoretical foundations of innovation and entrepreneurship,the paper proposes pathways to enhance medical students’innovation and entrepreneurship abilities,focusing on strengthening faculty development,improving the curriculum system,promoting the integration of specialty and entrepreneurship,and optimizing educational models.These efforts aim to cultivate medical professionals with stronger innovation and practical capabilities,contributing to the realization of the“Healthy China”strategy. 展开更多

Today, Central Asia continues to face many political, socio-economic and cultural changes brought about by the end of one ruling ideology, particularly in the field of education. With the loss of Soviet ideology that formed the basis of the curriculum and educational standards, transition and instability threatened to supplant one ideology for another, in the form of newly developed myths of nationalism on one end of the spectrum and fundamentalism or anti-globalism on the other. Thus, the task of educators working through this period of transition has been both arduous and complex. Humanities education of AKHP of UCA (Aga Khan Humanities Project of University of Central Asia) provides a key channel for training students and educators in independent critical thinking, tolerance of pluralism, and appreciation for the importance of diversity in Central Asian post-Soviet societies, playing a pivotal role in the promotion of these values. This paper argues that cultivating knowledge in the humanities can prevent development of extreme ideologies such as nationalism, fundamentalism and anti-globalization in the region following independence. The positive impacts of implementation of AKHP and its liberating role in the life of the Central Asian students show that development and adoption of an integrated interdisciplinary curriculum that incorporates cross-cultural and comparative studies can serve as a catalyst for reform of the broader education system and the region at large. 展开更多

Cultivating talents in robotics requires the integration of multiple disciplines,including mechanical engineering,electronics,computer science,and control engineering.The rapid expansion of the robotics industry in recent years has highlighted a significant talent gap and compelled universities to raise the standards of talent development in this field.This research examines the distinctive features of talent cultivation in robotics,draws on the practices of Wuhan University’s intelligent robotics program,and incorporates the concept of digital-intelligent education to propose an innovative talent cultivation framework termed system reconstruction and a fourfold integration education.This research emphasizes the importance of digital-intelligent interdisciplinarity and reports on the establishment of a progressive and comprehensive professional curriculum system.It also presents a supporting model that includes research-activated education,industry-driven education,competition-enhanced education,and interdisciplinary education,thereby creating a project-driven innovation practice platform and talent cultivation mechanism.Guided by systematic reconstruction and fourfold integration education mechanism,the digital-intelligent interdisciplinary curriculum and project-driven practice platform have significantly improved students’professional knowledge,innovative ability,and sense of social responsibility.This mechanism has not only improved the quality of talent cultivation in intelligent robotics but has also increased the impact of academic competitions and garnered widespread acclaim from peers. 展开更多
