In response to the national“Five Educations in Parallel”education policy,this study aims to explore pathways for integrating labor education into secondary school English teaching from an interdisciplinary perspecti...In response to the national“Five Educations in Parallel”education policy,this study aims to explore pathways for integrating labor education into secondary school English teaching from an interdisciplinary perspective,addressing the current shortfall of labor education within English instruction.To this end,the research combines Design-Based Research(DBR)with Task-Based Language Teaching(TBLT).An interdisciplinary,task-based teaching unit under the theme“Food and Labor”was designed,and multiple rounds of classroom practice and reflective refinement were carried out to identify effective strategies for blending labor education into English teaching.The study found that,compared with the control group,students in the experimental group made significant gains in both language ability and labor literacy.At the same time,students’teamwork skills and labor values were effectively cultivated.Accordingly,this research constructs a systematic curriculum program for integrating secondary-school English and labor education and provides a concrete implementation framework for promoting and integrating labor education,with important theoretical and practical implications.展开更多
