Interest in integrating design methodologies within interdisciplinary teaching has emerged as a strong method for increasing student learning and creativity, especially in integrating art and education. This study discusses the theoretical underpinnings of design-based teaching methodology and its practical applications in interdisciplinary settings. It discusses current practices and emerging trends in how design thinking principles bridge the gap between artistic expression and educational pedagogy. The results highlight the importance of a collaborative learning environment, an iterative process, and project-based approaches that allow the development of skills related to creativity besides the analytical ones. The main strategies in implementing methodologies for such purposes and their impact on student engagement in learning are discussed. 展开更多

Based on this, this paper analyzes the basic content of the concept of time and space, and puts forward some practical strategies, such as guiding the transfer of geographical knowledge, rationally designing interdisciplinary teaching, using historical maps, and constructing efficient classrooms, in order to give full play to the advantages of interdisciplinary teaching and lay a solid foundation for realizing students all-round development. 展开更多

Under the background of globalization,there are severe challenges in the cultivation of the professional skills of nursing staff,especially the English skills of foreign-related nursing,which has become an important part of the training of nursing talents.At present,most English teaching of foreign-related nursing in higher vocational colleges follows the traditional grammar teaching model.However,as most of the teaching staff for medical English are English teachers who have limited nursing professional knowledge,the industry characteristics of medical English are not fully demonstrated in the teaching process,and the lack of practicality inevitably reduces the quality of medical English teaching.Therefore,the traditional nursing English teaching model in higher vocational colleges can no longer meet the actual teaching needs.There is an urgent need to implement an interdisciplinary team teaching model that completely fits the industry environment of foreign-related nursing English and apply it flexibly to improve the quality of foreign-related nursing English teaching in higher vocational colleges,and lay a solid foundation for professional practice of nursing staff.Based on the perspective of ecolinguistics,this article explores the application strategies of the interdisciplinary team teaching model for foreign-related nursing English in higher vocational colleges,with the view to provide guidelines for the actual teaching of foreign-related nursing English. 展开更多

There is a close intertextual and symbiotic relationship between music and history in cultural inheritance.Aiming at the deficiencies of existing research in the combination of theory and practice and from a cultural perspective,this paper deeply analyzes the relationship between the two from a multidisciplinary perspective.The historical context influences musical expression at the material,institutional,and spiritual levels.Musical expression reflects the historical context through the encoding of formal structures and symbolic meanings.Cultural significance is generated in the educational field through historical decoding,contemporary interpretation,and meaning reconstruction.These three elements form a dynamic mutual construction and an educational and cultural cycle,providing a theoretical basis for the cultivation of cultural understanding ability in interdisciplinary teaching.In the future,it can be expanded in the directions such as neuro-experiments,the application of digital humanities technologies,and the comparison of different cultural contexts,so as to promote the development of humanistic education. 展开更多

The concept of New Liberal Arts,a multidisciplinary combined integrator with Chinese values at its core,has brought new challenges to the teaching methods and professional development of higher-level English teachers.Based on the evolving professional development process of higher vocational English teachers in the context of the New Liberal Arts,this article analyzes how English teachers can integrate multidisciplinary knowledge and adopt advanced educational technology in the teaching process.On this basis,it discusses the role of teachers’professional development in enhancing students’learning ability,such as through deepening disciplinary understanding,adopting innovative teaching strategies,and implementing personalized teaching.At the end of the article,based on a variety of pedagogical theories,we put forward suggestions,including continuous professional training,interdisciplinary cooperation,and the application of innovative teaching techniques,which are mainly aimed at helping higher vocational English teachers get rid of the dilemma of the new situation,adapt to the needs of the new liberal arts education as soon as possible,and then effectively improve students’abilities. 展开更多
