针对传统集中式计算无法有效应对海量设备产生的庞大数据,且移动边缘计算(MEC)服务器资源受限容易引起资源拥塞以及复杂的通信环境导致用户任务卸载传输受阻甚至中断的问题,提出了一种可重构智能表面(RIS)辅助多MEC服务器的联合任务卸... 针对传统集中式计算无法有效应对海量设备产生的庞大数据,且移动边缘计算(MEC)服务器资源受限容易引起资源拥塞以及复杂的通信环境导致用户任务卸载传输受阻甚至中断的问题,提出了一种可重构智能表面(RIS)辅助多MEC服务器的联合任务卸载和资源分配方法。由于最大化系统卸载效用问题是一个混合整数非线性规划问题,难以直接求解,于是整体求解过程采用交替优化法,进行迭代求解。通过联合优化RIS处相移矩阵、MEC服务器端中央处理器(central processing unit,CPU)的计算资源、卸载用户和MEC服务器的关联决策以及用户端上行传输功率,最大化系统卸载效用。具体地,通过最佳相位规划,拟凸优化技术以及凸优化技术分别求解RIS最佳相移、用户发射功率分配以及MEC服务器计算资源分配决策,并设计了一种改进的启发式算法求解用户与MEC服务器的关联决策。仿真结果表明,将RIS和改进的启发式算法结合的方法较传统求解方法中的启发式算法相比,系统的平均卸载效用提升了约22.89%,并且方法比基准方案中采用基于局部搜索的经典求解方法的卸载效用提升了约14.02%。因此,该方法有益于提高用户的通信服务质量。 展开更多

考虑到可重构智能表面(RIS)辅助的无人机(UAV)通信系统中存在多个移动用户的情况,研究了UAV的飞行能耗对系统能效的影响,通过联合优化UAV轨迹与主动波束赋形以及RIS相移设计以提升系统能效。由于目标函数是非凸的且优化变量耦合,传统算... 考虑到可重构智能表面(RIS)辅助的无人机(UAV)通信系统中存在多个移动用户的情况,研究了UAV的飞行能耗对系统能效的影响,通过联合优化UAV轨迹与主动波束赋形以及RIS相移设计以提升系统能效。由于目标函数是非凸的且优化变量耦合,传统算法难以直接求解,提出一种基于双延迟深度确定性策略梯度(TTD3)的高斯分布双延迟深度确定性策略梯度算法(GD-TD3),通过联合优化UAV轨迹与主动波束赋形以及RIS被动波束赋形以提升系统总数据速率和系统长期能效。所提算法通过改进双智能体框架中的原始网络结构,同时对多个用户移动性建模,分别优化了系统中的UAV轨迹以及UAV与RIS的主/被动波束赋形。仿真结果表明,相较于其他算法,GD-TD3算法在系统能效提升方面表现更好,在收敛速度和收敛稳定性方面都有一定提升。 展开更多

针对低空通信背景下智能超表面(Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface,RIS)辅助的UAV物理层安全(Physical Layer Security,PLS)传输技术,考虑可能存在多窃听威胁的场景,提出基于UAV轨迹和RIS相移联合优化的安全增强机制。具体提出2种优... 针对低空通信背景下智能超表面(Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface,RIS)辅助的UAV物理层安全(Physical Layer Security,PLS)传输技术,考虑可能存在多窃听威胁的场景,提出基于UAV轨迹和RIS相移联合优化的安全增强机制。具体提出2种优化方案:①基于凸优化理论,通过连续凸近似(Successive Convex Approximation,SCA)和交替优化将非凸问题分解为可解的凸子问题,以最大化平均安全速率;②引入双延迟深度确定性策略梯度(Twin Delayed Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient,TD3)深度强化学习(Deep Reinforcement Learing,DRL)算法,利用双重Q网络和延迟策略更新机制,联合优化UAV轨迹与RIS相位,在连续动作空间中生成较为平滑的UAV轨迹,实现高效实时优化。仿真结果表明,凸优化算法在所构建的系统中展现出更快的收敛特性,而TD3算法在安全速率方面显著高于凸优化方法,尤其在RIS单元数增加时优势更明显,验证了其在提升通信安全性和鲁棒性方面的潜力。 展开更多

Based on the tropical cyclone(TC) observations in the western North Pacific from 2000 to 2008, this paper adopts the particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm of evolutionary computation to optimize one comprehensive classification rule, and apply the optimized classification rule to the forecasting of TC intensity change. In the process of the optimization, the strategy of hierarchical pruning has been adopted in the PSO algorithm to narrow the search area,and thus to enhance the local search ability, i.e. hierarchical PSO algorithm. The TC intensity classification rule involves core attributes including 12-HMWS, MPI, and Rainrate which play vital roles in TC intensity change. The testing accuracy using the new mined rule by hierarchical PSO algorithm reaches 89.6%. The current study shows that the novel classification method for TC intensity change analysis based on hierarchic PSO algorithm is not only easy to explain the source of rule core attributes, but also has great potential to improve the forecasting of TC intensity change. 展开更多

The classic learning algorithm is hard to be adopted. We used genetic algorithm to learn linkage intensity from limited data. New communication systems require high spectral and energy efficiencies to meet the growing demand for services in future networks.In this paper,an efficient multiple parallel reconfigurable intelligent surfaces(RIS)-assisted multiuser(MU) multiple input-multiple output(MIMO) double quadrature spatial modulation(DQSM) downlink transmission system is presented.In the transmitter,the proposed N-RIS-MU-MIMO-DQSM system uses a modified block diagonalization technique and a genetic algorithm(GA) to jointly design the precoding signals required at the base station(BS) and the optimal phase changes required at multiple RISs.A reduced detection complexity and improved bit error rate(BER) performance are achieved by incorporating spatial modulation.The proposed system is compared under the same conditions and parameters with two reference systems,considering blind and optimized RISs approaches over correlated Rayleigh fading channels.Results show that compared with a similar system that does not use RISs,the proposed system has up to30 dB gain in BER performance.Compared with a similar system based on conventional quadrature amplitude modulation(QAM),the proposed system has gains of up to 2-3 dB in BER performance and up to 55.8% lower detection complexity for the analyzed cases. 展开更多

As one of the most serious geological disasters in deep underground engineering,rockburst has caused a large number of casualties.However,because of the complex relationship between the inducing factors and rockburst intensity,the problem of rockburst intensity prediction has not been well solved until now.In this study,we collect 292 sets of rockburst data including eight parameters,such as the maximum tangential stress of the surrounding rock σ_(θ),the uniaxial compressive strength of the rockσc,the uniaxial tensile strength of the rock σ_(t),and the strain energy storage index W_(et),etc.from more than 20 underground projects as training sets and establish two new rockburst prediction models based on the kernel extreme learning machine(KELM)combined with the genetic algorithm(KELM-GA)and cross-entropy method(KELM-CEM).To further verify the effect of the two models,ten sets of rockburst data from Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station are selected for analysis and the results show that new models are more accurate compared with five traditional empirical criteria,especially the model based on KELM-CEM which has the accuracy rate of 90%.Meanwhile,the results of 10 consecutive runs of the model based on KELM-CEM are almost the same,meaning that the model has good stability and reliability for engineering applications. 展开更多

Higher resolution frequency estimation can be obtained by this algorithm using fewer snapshots comparing with the sound intensity frequency estimation. Results of simulation and lake experiment show that the proposed algorithm can improve the communication data rate and reduce the bandwidth of the system. The existing Maximum Power Point Tracking(MPPT)method has low tracking efficiency and poor stability.It is easy to fall into the Local Maximum Power Point(LMPP)in Partial Shading Condition(PSC),resulting in the degradation of output power quality and efficiency.It was found that various bio-inspired MPPT based optimization algorithms employ different mechanisms,and their performance in tracking the Global Maximum Power Point(GMPP)varies.Thus,a Cuckoo search algorithm(CSA)combined with the Incremental conductance Algorithm(INC)is proposed(CSA-INC)is put forward for the MPPT method of photovoltaic power generation.The method can improve the tracking speed by more than 52%compared with the traditional Cuckoo Search Algorithm(CSA),and the results of the study using this algorithm are compared with the popular Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)and the Gravitational Search Algorithm(GSA).CSA-INC has an average tracking efficiency of 99.99%and an average tracking time of 0.19 s when tracking the GMPP,which improves PV power generation’s efficiency and power quality. 展开更多

To overcome the shortcomings of the traditional artificial potential field method in mobile robot path planning, an improved artificial potential field model (IAPFM) was established, then a new path planning method combining the IAPFM with optimization algorithm (trust region algorithm) is proposed. Attractive force between the robot and the target location, and repulsive force between the robot and the obstacles are both converted to the potential field intensity; and filled potential field is used to guide the robot to go out of the local minimum points ; on this basis, the effect of dynamic obstacles velocity and the robot's velocity is consid thers and the IAPFM is established, then both the expressions of the attractive potential field and the repulsive potential field are obtained. The trust region algorithm is used to search the minimum value of the sum of all the potential field inten- sities within the movement scope which the robot can arrive in a sampling period. Connecting of all the points which hare the minimum intensity in every sampling period constitutes the global optimization path. Experiment result shows that the method can meet the real-time requirement, and is able to execute the mobile robot path planning task effectively in the dynamic environment. 展开更多

A new node-pairs contact algorithm is proposed to deal with a composite material or bi-material interface crack face contact and friction problem (e.g., resistant coating and thermal barrier coatings) subjected to complicated load conditions. To decrease the calculation scale and calculation errors, the local Lagrange multipliers are solved only on a pair of contact nodes using the Jacobi iteration method, and the constraint modification of the tangential multipliers are required. After the calculation of the present node-pairs Lagrange multiplier, it is turned to next contact node-pairs until all node-pairs have finished. Compared with an ordinary contact algorithm, the new local node-pairs contact algorithm is allowed a more precise element on the contact face without the stiffness matrix singularity. The stress intensity factors (SIFs) and the contact region of an infinite plate central crack are calculated and show good agreement with those in the literature. The contact zone near the crack tip as well as its influence on singularity of stress fields are studied. Furthermore, the frictional contacts are also considered and found to have a significant influence on the SIFs. The normalized mode-II stress intensity factors KII for the friction coefficient decrease by 16% when f changes from 1 to 0. 展开更多

The neutron supermirror is an important neutron optical device that can significantly improve the efficiency of neutron transport in neutron guides and has been widely used in research neutron sources.Three types of algorithms,including approximately ten algorithms,have been developed for designing high-efficiency supermirror structures.In addition to its applications in neutron guides,in recent years,the use of neutron supermirrors in neutronfocusing mirrors has been proposed to advance the development of neutron scattering and neutron imaging instruments,especially those at compact neutron sources.In this new application scenario,the performance of supermirrors strongly affects the instrument performance;therefore,a careful evaluation of the design algorithms is needed.In this study,we examine two issues:the effect of nonuniform film thickness distribution on a curved substrate and the effect of the specific neutron intensity distribution on the performance of neutron supermirrors designed using existing algorithms.The effect of film thickness nonuniformity is found to be relatively insignificant,whereas the effect of the neutron intensity distribution over Q(where Q is the magnitude of the scattering vector of incident neutrons)is considerable.Selection diagrams that show the best design algorithm under different conditions are obtained from these results.When the intensity distribution is not considered,empirical algorithms can obtain the highest average reflectivity,whereas discrete algorithms perform best when the intensity distribution is taken into account.The reasons for the differences in performance between algorithms are also discussed.These findings provide a reference for selecting design algorithms for supermirrors for use in neutron optical devices with unique geometries and can be very helpful for improving the performance of focusing supermirror-based instruments. 展开更多

Dynamic assets allocation based on market microstructure model with variable-intensity jumps

In order to characterizc large fluctuations of the financial markets and optimize financial portfolio, a new dynamic asset control strategy was proposed in this work. Firstly, a random process item with variable jump intensity was introduced to the existing discrete microstructure model to denote large price fluctuations. The nonparametric method of LEE was used for detecting jumps. Further, the extended Kalman filter and the maximum likelihood method were applied to discrete microstructure modeling and the estimation of two market potential variables: market excess demand and liquidity. At last, based on the estimated variables, an assets allocation strategy using evolutionary algorithm was designed to control the weight of each asset dynamically. Case studies on IBM Stock show that jumps with variable intensity are detected successfully, and the assets allocation strategy may effectively keep the total assets growth or prevent assets loss at the stochastic financial market. 展开更多
