Ur-baniza...Urbanization strategic environmental assessment (SEA) is an effective instrument to enhance the harmo-nious development of urban complex system, integrating of environment and development in decision-making. Ur-banization strategic environmental assessment integration technology system (SEA-ITS) is composed of "3S" (RS, GIS and GPS), environmental expert system and environmental model system, coupling with appropriate SEA working process closely. In this paper, the structure and components of SEA-ITS are analyzed based on Chinese characteristics, meanwhile methods to fulfill the following system functions are discussed: urbanization SEA in-quiring, analysis, discrimination, assessment, prediction, decision-making and output. Moreover, methods and tech-nologies employed in different urbanization SEA hierarchies are summarized. As a case study, urbanization SEA-ITS is applied in Changchun City to solving complex real problems. Methods such as system dynamics and grey cluster are adopted to achieve the environmental impact assessment on the eco-industrial system planning. It is revealed that the system designed is capable of reflecting the dynamic behavior of eco-industrial system under different sce-narios, meanwhile accomplishing strategy optimization and supplying scientific reference. The 4th strategy, namely concerning on economy increase and its interaction with science, technology and environment progress, would have the best efficiency. Further, more attention should be paid to the secondary development of integration techniques and function modification system of urbanization SEA-ITS.展开更多

An 8×10 GHz receiver optical sub-assembly （ROSA） consisting of an 8-channel arrayed waveguide grating （AWG） and an 8-channel PIN photodetector （PD） array is designed and fabricated based on silica hybrid in...An 8×10 GHz receiver optical sub-assembly （ROSA） consisting of an 8-channel arrayed waveguide grating （AWG） and an 8-channel PIN photodetector （PD） array is designed and fabricated based on silica hybrid integration technology. Multimode output waveguides in the silica AWG with 2% refractive index difference are used to obtain fiat-top spectra. The output waveguide facet is polished to 45° bevel to change the light propagation direction into the mesa-type PIN PD, which simplifies the packaging process. The experimentM results show that the single channel I dB bandwidth of AWG ranges from 2.12nm to 3.06nm, the ROSA responsivity ranges from 0.097 A/W to 0.158A/W, and the 3dB bandwidth is up to 11 GHz. It is promising to be applied in the eight-lane WDM transmission system in data center interconnection.展开更多

Explicit knowledge is from a person＇s ＂espoused theory＂ which is what a person believes and claims to follow. Tacit knowledge is from a person＇s ＂theory-in-use＂ which lies behind a person＇s action or behavior. The knowledge of teaching demonstrated in the classroom can be referred to as tacit knowledge or theory-in-use which is often the theory behind the practice of experienced teachers. Freema Elbaz （1983） points out that the ＂experience＂ is referred to as ＂practical knowledge＂, which ＂provides the basis for a conceptualization which sees the teacher as possessing valuable resources＂ （6） and allows teachers to explicitly indicate and tacitly demonstrate their experience in teaching. The purpose of the study is to investigate how experienced college instructors apply their good teaching qualities to teaching social studies. The participants are three experienced college instructors teaching social studies. A concept map and a final reflection are used to elicit experienced instructors＇ personal epistemology in teaching social studies and their perception of technology use in the classroom. Each participant was asked to generate nine good teaching qualities and draw their concept map based on the nine qualities. Their concept maps reflected their theory-in-use and showed the relationship among their teaching qualities by displaying them together in a graphic form and how each teaching quality is connected to another. Participants＇ technology use was also explored to get their perception of the role of technology and their actual use of it in teaching. Then they were asked to validate their concept map data and reflect on their classroom teaching and use of technology. The findings show the three instructors taught under different schema and decided what their means and ends should be and how technology can help facilitate teaching and learning. However, most of them seemed to treat the content （e.g., democracy education） as their ends and thus used pedagogy （e.g., technology） as the means to reach the ends. Their technology use also reflected their perception of technology in teaching and revealed their limited understanding of technology integration, which leads to potential problems.展开更多

The Upper Sinian Dengying formation in the Gaoshiti gasfield,Central Sichuan Basin,has always been the major payzone of natural gas exploration and development in this basin up till now.But due to the complexity of sil...The Upper Sinian Dengying formation in the Gaoshiti gasfield,Central Sichuan Basin,has always been the major payzone of natural gas exploration and development in this basin up till now.But due to the complexity of siliceous and heterogeneous reservoirs there such as high temperature,high pressure,high H2S content,well-developed pores and fractures,frequent sticking and leakage often occur along with high risks of blowout during horizontal-well drilling,which even makes geo-steering,and reservoir tracing and orientation difficult.In view of this,based on the analysis of geological and drilling characteristics of Dengying reservoirs and the summary of actual drilling data,we put forward a geological modeling technology for multi-well lithofacies interpretation and reservoir comparative analysis,fracture-cavity detection through comprehensive logging,geology and seismic data;then bycombining the real-time geo-steering technology of reservoir identification with evaluation with LWD data,reservoir seismic model and cutting element analysis,we focused on the optimization of such aspects as the inclination angle at the top of Dengying Fm,the trajectory plan for the build-up section,the suitable string and the directional operation scheme,and the well trajectory technology for avoiding siliceous and tight layers,andfinally formed an integrated geo-steering technology suitable for the geological and engineering characteristics of the Dengying reservoirs.Thefield practices offive wells show that this presented method is worth popularizing in that the drilling goal with geological guidance has been achieved;that effective reservoir drilling rate and drilling effi-ciency have been increased;that operation risks have been reduced;and that the needs of geological guidance under complex geological and borehole engineering conditions in this area have been met.展开更多

文摘The Upper Sinian Dengying formation in the Gaoshiti gasfield,Central Sichuan Basin,has always been the major payzone of natural gas exploration and development in this basin up till now.But due to the complexity of siliceous and heterogeneous reservoirs there such as high temperature,high pressure,high H2S content,well-developed pores and fractures,frequent sticking and leakage often occur along with high risks of blowout during horizontal-well drilling,which even makes geo-steering,and reservoir tracing and orientation difficult.In view of this,based on the analysis of geological and drilling characteristics of Dengying reservoirs and the summary of actual drilling data,we put forward a geological modeling technology for multi-well lithofacies interpretation and reservoir comparative analysis,fracture-cavity detection through comprehensive logging,geology and seismic data;then bycombining the real-time geo-steering technology of reservoir identification with evaluation with LWD data,reservoir seismic model and cutting element analysis,we focused on the optimization of such aspects as the inclination angle at the top of Dengying Fm,the trajectory plan for the build-up section,the suitable string and the directional operation scheme,and the well trajectory technology for avoiding siliceous and tight layers,andfinally formed an integrated geo-steering technology suitable for the geological and engineering characteristics of the Dengying reservoirs.Thefield practices offive wells show that this presented method is worth popularizing in that the drilling goal with geological guidance has been achieved;that effective reservoir drilling rate and drilling effi-ciency have been increased;that operation risks have been reduced;and that the needs of geological guidance under complex geological and borehole engineering conditions in this area have been met.
