Under the environment of vehicle-to-vehicle(V2V)communication,the traffic information on a large scale can be obtained and used to coordinate the operation of road traffic system.In this paper,a new traffic lattice hy...Under the environment of vehicle-to-vehicle(V2V)communication,the traffic information on a large scale can be obtained and used to coordinate the operation of road traffic system.In this paper,a new traffic lattice hydrodynamic model is proposed which considers the influence of multiple-lattice self-anticipative density integration on traffic flow in the V2V environment.Through theoretical analysis,the linear stability condition of the new model is derived and the stable condition can be enhanced when more-preceding-lattice self-anticipative density integration effect is taken into account.The property of the unstable traffic density wave in the unstable region is also studied according to the nonlinear analysis.It is shown that the unstable traffic density wave can be described by solving the modified Korteweg-de-Vries(mKdV)equation.Finally,the simulation results demonstrate the validity of the theoretical results.Both theoretical analysis and numerical simulations demonstrate that multiple-lattice self-anticipative density integration effect can enhance the stability of traffic flow system in the V2V environment.展开更多

One is decomposing the integrated photonics devices of diverse types into equivalent basic elements, which makes a comparison with the generic elements of electronic integrated circuits more meaningful. The other is making a complex compo- nent equivalent to a series of basic elements of the same functionality, which is used to calculate the integration density for func- tional components realized with different structures. The results serve as a benchmark of the evolution of PICs and we can con- clude that the density of integration measured in this way roughly increases by a factor of 2 per year. The prospects for a continued increase of spatial integration density are discussed.展开更多

Through the high-density integrated 3D design concept...Based on the high integration and low profile application requirements of phased array systems, a Ku band 64-element tile type transceiver component was developed. Through the high-density integrated 3D design concept, the 64-element transceiver channels are arranged in a rectangular grid array, and the functional circuits are horizontally arranged and vertically integrated, achieving the low profile characteristics of the components. Detailed introductions were provided on the key circuit design, structural design, and thermal design of the components. Through physical testing, the single channel receiving gain of the transceiver component is ≥6 dB, and the noise figure is ≤3.5 dB;Single channel transmission gain ≥ 4 dB, transmission saturation output power ≥ 22 dBm;Each channel can independently achieve 6-bit phase shift and 4-bit attenuation functions. The phase consistency of 64 channels is better than 7°, and the amplitude consistency is better than 0.6 dB. The component size is 100 mm × 84 mm × 13.1 mm, with a mass of less than 150 g. This transceiver component has a standardized architecture and can flexibly achieve large-scale array expansion.展开更多

Background:The Fn14 fibroblast growth factor-inducible 14(Fn14)can stimulate cell migration and promote cancer lessions.Progranulin(GP88)protein has been identified as an epidermal growth factor and participates in ma...Background:The Fn14 fibroblast growth factor-inducible 14(Fn14)can stimulate cell migration and promote cancer lessions.Progranulin(GP88)protein has been identified as an epidermal growth factor and participates in many biological processes.The aim of the present work was to investigate the immunohistochemical expression of Fn14 and GP88 proteins in relation to the clinical parameters in women's invasive ductal carcinoma(IDC)and to explore their role as novel prognostic biomarkers.Methods:The qualitative and quantitative immunohistochemical techniques were used to evaluate the expression levels of Fn14 and GP88 in 100 fresh samples of Egyptian women who had breast lesions.They were divided into three groups:control healthy tissues(10 samples from woman lesions),benign group(30 cases),and IDC group(60 cases).Results:The histopathological results of 60 cases with IDC have been reported with 45 cases being gradeⅡand 15 cases being gradeⅢ.The immunohistochemical results showed that the degree of strong positive staining for both markers was increased in gradeⅢcompared to that in gradeⅡ.The integrated optical density was significantly increased in gradeⅢ(p<0.05).Also,the result revealed a highly significant correlation between the two markers and the tumor size,grades,and lymph node metastasis,as well as a correlation to normal and benign breast lesions.Conclusion:The quantitative immunohistochemistry of Fn14 and GP88 proteins revealed the correlation between the two markers and clinical parameters.Therefore,the two markers may be serviceable as prognostic and therapeutic markers in IDC patients.展开更多

By analyzing the mode distribution patterns and the curves of mode effective index, we show how the plasmonic mode around the metal surface is coupled with the fundamental mode in the silicon core to form a squeezed hybrid mode. The ability of the hybrid plasmonic waveguide in energy confinement is also discussed quantitatively.展开更多
