Based on Rogers' learner-centered humanistic teaching approach which emphasizes students' involvement and experiences in learning, EFMH puts students and their practice in a central place. After four-year exploration and operation, the Forum has developed from a small-scaled embryo into an internationalized, standardized and professionalized event, having produced fruitful outcomes. It is expected that the success of EFMH will provide inspiring experiences and enlightenments for higher medical education in terms of academic English teaching and teachers' responsibilities to foster high-quality medical students.展开更多

The current financial education framework has an increasing need to introduce tools that facilitate the application of theoretical models to real-world data and contexts.However,only a limited number of free tools are...The current financial education framework has an increasing need to introduce tools that facilitate the application of theoretical models to real-world data and contexts.However,only a limited number of free tools are available for this purpose.Given this lack of tools,the present study provides two approaches to facilitate the implementa-tion of an event study.The first approach consists of a set of MS Excel files based on the Fama–French five-factor model,which allows the application of the event study methodology in a semi-automatic manner.The second approach is an open-source R-programmed tool through which results can be obtained in the context of an event study without the need for programming knowledge.This tool widens the calculus possibilities provided by the first approach and offers the option to apply not only the Fama–French five-factor model but also other models that are common in the finan-cial literature.It is a user-friendly tool that enables reproducibility of the analysis and ensures that the calculations are free of manipulation errors.Both approaches are freely available and ready-to-use.展开更多

文摘In recent years,the rapid development of artificial intelligence(AI)technology has been driving profound transformations in higher education.As a fundamental course in science and engineering disciplines,Advanced Mathematics plays a crucial role in cultivating students’logical thinking and innovative capabilities.However,the current teaching models exhibit significant shortcomings in fostering students’ability to identify and solve problems,primarily reflected in the monotony of teaching content,the limitations of students’thinking,and the constraints of instructional methods.In response to these issues,this paper proposes an AI-based teaching approach for Advanced Mathematics.By utilizing scenario simulations to guide students in discovering problems and employing modeling tools to assist them in solving problems in real time,the study constructs a comprehensive teaching model that spans the entire process from problem identification to problem resolution.Research findings indicate that the application of AI technology can effectively enhance students’abilities in problem awareness,logical reasoning,and creative thinking.This study provides both theoretical support and practical reference for the reform of Advanced Mathematics education and the innovation of higher-level talent cultivation models.

文摘The deep integration of digital-AI technologies is reshaping the forms and logic of higher education teaching.However,university faculty professional development faces the limitations of the“technical enablement”paradigm,leading to a cycle of“technological anxiety-performative innovation-meaning depletion.”Based on sociocultural theory,expansive learning theory,and teacher identity theory,this paper constructs a“technology-cognition-identity”co-evolution theoretical framework.It proposes a new paradigm centered on“teacher deep learning,”operationalized into three dimensions:critical technological cognition,reflective practice iteration,and identity reconstruction.Accordingly,the article puts forward strategic recommendations targeting multiple stakeholders,including the state,universities,faculty development centers,and enterprises,aiming to propel teachers from“being empowered”to“self-empowerment,”and to achieve the synergistic development of educational wisdom and professional autonomy in the digital-AI era.
文摘In junior high school English teaching and various learning activities, teachers need to reach a deep level of interaction with students. Because the students are individual, the learning foundation of the students presents the characteristic of individuality. In junior high school English learning, students' learning level is not consistent, and their ability to accept junior high school English knowledge will be different. In order to make students' learning effect better, it is necessary to put forward a hierarchical teaching mechanism, which can solve various problems of junior high school students in English learning. This paper discusses the practice of hierarchical education in junior high school English teaching, so as to summarize the teaching experience of front-line English teachers and provide reference for future junior high school English teaching.

文摘Due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 in 2020,online education has become the mainstream.After the epidemic,the blending learning mode has also become a key goal of the teaching reform of colleges and universities,and the blending learning mode of various courses has blossomed everywhere.In this context,this paper used the Econometrics course as the carrier,analyzed the many unreasonable problems in the traditional Econometrics course,and proposed an optimization plan and path for the blending learning mode to address these problems.

文摘The current financial education framework has an increasing need to introduce tools that facilitate the application of theoretical models to real-world data and contexts.However,only a limited number of free tools are available for this purpose.Given this lack of tools,the present study provides two approaches to facilitate the implementa-tion of an event study.The first approach consists of a set of MS Excel files based on the Fama–French five-factor model,which allows the application of the event study methodology in a semi-automatic manner.The second approach is an open-source R-programmed tool through which results can be obtained in the context of an event study without the need for programming knowledge.This tool widens the calculus possibilities provided by the first approach and offers the option to apply not only the Fama–French five-factor model but also other models that are common in the finan-cial literature.It is a user-friendly tool that enables reproducibility of the analysis and ensures that the calculations are free of manipulation errors.Both approaches are freely available and ready-to-use.

文摘Taking construction of the online and offline integrated first-class undergraduate curriculum teaching modes of Histology and Embryology in Guangxi as an opportunity,under the guidance of student-centered teaching concept,efforts were made to innovate online and offline integrated teaching mode to overcome the shortcomings and dilemma of traditional Histology and Embryology teaching,with attention paid to the competence education in students including schematic knowledge,professional techniques,analytical thinking,and ideological and political theories,which would be of great significance for the cultivation of high-quality professionals specialized in traditional Chinese medicine.
