This study is an attempt to point out the different types of natural hazards in Sudur Paschim province of Nepal where environmental degradation processes such as deforestation,desertification,biodiversity loss,soil crisp and watershed degradation are rising trends.Using participatory method multi hazard prone areas were identified with type and intensity.Multi criteria evaluation method was applied to prioritize replicable actions with location-specific innovative practices and their legitimization for integrating local and indigenous knowledge into mainstream education,science and policy with a view to incorporate local and indigenous knowledge as live science in disaster and climate change education.Findings of the study reveal that varieties of natural hazards in combination with social factors such as poverty,conflict and inequality have resulted frequent disasters and social vulnerabilities in many parts of the province.Traditionally,indigenous and local people have responded threats of multi hazards by using their traditional knowledge and skills which has evolved over generations,and continue to adapt to future changes.These traditional,often faith-based,beliefs and practices were found to use as the key to their resilience in the face of natural hazards.However,many communities have been lost their knowledge as the elderly die without transferring it to younger members.Behind this proper educational policy and strategic development plans have not been implemented to cope local/indigenous knowledge into practices.Findings of the study indicate that indigenous and local knowledge is a precious province resource that can support the process of disaster prevention,preparedness and response in cost-effective disaster risk reduction.Therefore,policy framework has to prime focus to integrate indigenous and local knowledge,wisdom and skills into mainstream educational programs in order to transfer science into policy and education(words)into practice. 展开更多

This study examines the practical challenges encountered by international schools in China within the framework of intercultural education.The findings reveal significant deficiencies in the effectiveness of current educational practices,which are often excessively commercialized.This trend inevitably results in an overemphasis on academic achievement,while neglecting the essential development of students’intercultural adaptability.The root of this issue can be attributed to several structural factors,including a lack of intrinsic motivation among students,a systemic shortage of teaching resources,the absence of professional evaluation mechanisms,and a weak consensus across the industry.Theoretically,effective intercultural adaptation should focus on“intercultural identity,”emphasizing integration rather than the assimilation of one’s original cultural identity.The research identifies that certain innovative practices,particularly those employing project-based learning models,have successfully guided students in actively constructing their cultural identities,facilitating a transformation from superficial awareness to profound identification.These experiences hold the potential for replication.Future educational initiatives should transcend the logic of commercialization and adopt a systemic design centered on identity integration,with the goal of cultivating students as culturally grounded communicative bridges. 展开更多

[Objective]From the perspective of multi-dimensional education theory,explore the situation of the concept of“Post-Course-Competition-Certificate”in nursing professional experimental teaching.[Methods]Through investigation and research,collect relevant data on the concept of“Post-Course-Competition-Certificate”in nursing major,including the understanding degree of the concept,the cognition of the role in nursing major learning,the cognition of the importance of each part,the participation degree,practical operation problems and overall satisfaction,etc.[Results]The survey found that the proportion of those who have a deep understanding of the concept of“Post-Course-Competition-Certificate”is low(very understanding 12.45%,relatively understanding 14.16%),and most are at the general level or below;most respondents recognize that this concept has a positive effect on nursing major learning,especially in improving practical ability(80.13%agree);post practice is considered the most important(accounting for 57.02%),but the participation degree in course learning is the highest(65.94%);insufficient practical opportunities(61.81%)and the disconnection between courses and practice(52.39%)are prominent problems in practical operations;on the whole,most respondents have a positive attitude towards this concept(very satisfied 28.82%,relatively satisfied 36.87%),but there are still a small number of dissatisfied people.[Conclusion]The concept of“Post-Course-Competition-Certificate”has important value in nursing major learning,but its popularization degree needs to be improved,and there are many problems in practical operations.When promoting this concept in nursing professional experimental teaching,existing problems should be solved and the needs of a small number of people should be paid attention to so as to improve the overall effect. 展开更多

Following the proposal of the“Emerging Engineering Education(EEE)”initiative,the cultivation of interdisciplinary innovative talents has gained increasing prominence.Currently,there exists a significant gap between the practical innovation capabilities of automotive majors in vocational colleges and the evolving demands of the industry.To address deficiencies in interdisciplinary innovative talent development programs,this study proposes an educational framework structured around“One Core,Two Dimensions,Three Levels.”Leveraging a project-driven teaching methodology and utilizing CATIA—the industry-standard 3D design software—as a central tool,we have developed a closed-loop teaching model integrating theory,modeling,simulation,and evaluation.This model underpins a newly designed automotive engineering practicum aimed at nurturing high-quality engineering talents equipped with three critical competencies:solving complex engineering challenges,digital design proficiency,and cross-disciplinary collaborative innovation.The proposed approach demonstrates potential to alleviate the structural disconnect between traditional engineering pedagogy and industry talent requirements. 展开更多

Objective:To establish a nursing service model of 37◦C“six-center service”and study the effect of this model on improving nursing services in the course of nursing work.Methods:The semi-structured interview method and group meeting method are used to establish the 37◦C nursing service model and implement the“general health”concept of“benevolence-based and central enterprise quality.”The newly established 37◦C“six-center service”(enthusiastic reception,patient explanation,careful observation,sincere help,warm-hearted delivery and heart-to-heart visit)nursing model in the comprehensive ward of Baogang Hospital(Inner Mongolia)runs through the three phases of patient admission,hospitalization and discharge,providing patients with warm care services,so that patients can truly enjoy the warmth of 37◦C nursing and friendly family flair during the peri-hospitalization period.Results:(1)The established 37◦C“six-heart service”nursing service model has been treated as a nursing service path and is widely used in the hospital;(2)After the implementation of the 37◦C nursing service,patients,nurses,doctors,hospitals and the society show an effectively improved satisfaction;(3)The 37◦C“six-heart service”nursing service model is established as a hospital nursing service brand;(4)The 37◦C“six-heart service”nursing service brand has received enthusiastic responses in Baotou,Health Management Technology Co.,Ltd.and GENERTEC.Conclusions:The established 37◦C“six-heart service”nursing service model can effectively improve the quality of nursing service and establish a nursing service brand,which can be promoted across the country. 展开更多
