As an integral part of China’s higher education system,higher vocational colleges play a significant role in talent cultivation,social services,and cultural inheritance.With the development of the times and the advan...As an integral part of China’s higher education system,higher vocational colleges play a significant role in talent cultivation,social services,and cultural inheritance.With the development of the times and the advancement of educational reform,the role of scientific research in higher vocational colleges has become increasingly prominent.This paper started from the necessity of conducting scientific research in higher vocational colleges,providing an in-depth analysis of its importance in improving teaching quality,promoting teachers’professional development,driving social services,and enhancing the college’s core competitiveness.At the same time,addressing the existing problems in current scientific research work at higher vocational colleges,this paper proposed innovative pathways focusing on the scientific research management system,scientific research team construction,scientific research funding investment,and scientific research outcome transformation.The aim is to provide valuable references for the scientific research development of higher vocational colleges.展开更多
Since its implementation in 2009,the National Basic Public Health Service Programme(hereinafter referred to as NBPHSP)has expanded its service scope from the initial nine categories to encompass diverse domains includ...Since its implementation in 2009,the National Basic Public Health Service Programme(hereinafter referred to as NBPHSP)has expanded its service scope from the initial nine categories to encompass diverse domains including chronic disease management,health services for key populations,and major disease prevention and control.It now covers 94.9%of healthcare institutions nationwide.Consequently,China has witnessed a sustained decline in maternal mortality and premature mor-tality from major chronic diseases,alongside a marked improvement in residents’health literacy and ongoing progress in urban-rural health equity.Nevertheless,primary healthcare institutions-the core implementers of the NBPHSP-still grapple with multiple challenges:role deviation among public health personnel,misaligned performance evaluation metrics,inadequate data utilisation ca-pabilities,and unclear pathways for integrating medical and preventive services.This paper employs policy text analysis,case dissection,and systematic review methodologies to systematically trace the development trajectory and implementation outcomes of the NBPHSP.It conducts an in-depth analysis of existing challenges and proposes breakthrough pathways including health-outcome ori-ented performance evaluation,empowering public health practitioners with clear responsibilities,data-driven decision-making,innovative mechanisms for integrating medical and preventive ser-vices,and building proactive public health capabilities.These recommendations provide policy guidance for advancing the programme’s high-quality development and facilitating a shift from”emphasising scale coverage”to”prioritising quality outcomes”.展开更多
Along with the successful progress of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)in the past decade and more,the rule of law for the BRI has improved substantially,becoming a dazzling landscape in the international rule of law....Along with the successful progress of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)in the past decade and more,the rule of law for the BRI has improved substantially,becoming a dazzling landscape in the international rule of law.At present,the world is undergoing major changes unseen in a century,with intensified geopolitical confrontation in international relations and the serious undermining of the systems of global economic governance and multilateral rules.In the face of the complex and volatile international situation,the BRI as an international public good cannot remain unaffected,and the rule of law for the BRI inevitably faces greater risks and challenges.China should work with the participating countries of the BRI to overcome difficulties,utilize international rule of law thinking,discuss scientific plans to address the risks and challenges of the rule of law for the BRI,and build an innovative development pathway for the BRI rule of law,sharing the institutional dividends created by the rule of law for the BRI and promoting reforms that align with the times in the global economic governance system.展开更多
