Employees’innovative performance determines an organization’s innovation,which critically impacts its structural optimization and sustainability.Applying expectancy theory,we examined how and when the Pygmalion effe...Employees’innovative performance determines an organization’s innovation,which critically impacts its structural optimization and sustainability.Applying expectancy theory,we examined how and when the Pygmalion effect occurs in the relationship between leaders’expectations of innovation and employee innovative behavior.Our sample comprised 201 frontline employees(female=31.84%;mean age=41.48 years,SD=7.97 years)in a Chinese coal enterprise,who completed surveys on innovation expectations of leaders,expected positive performance outcomes,innovative self-efficacy and innovative behavior.The results revealed that employees’expected positive performance outcomes mediated the positive relationship between leaders’innovation expectations and their innovative behavior.Employees’innovative self-efficacy positively moderated the relationship between their expected positive performance outcomes and innovative behavior,with this relationship being stronger for employees with high innovative self-efficacy.Moreover,we validated the moderated mediation model.Findings suggest that leaders can stimulate employee innovative behavior through expressing expectations and they also need to consider the boundary conditions.展开更多

To explore the impact of digital literacy on college students’entrepreneurial opportunity recognition,this study conducted a questionnaire survey using the Digital Literacy Scale,the Entrepreneurial Opportunity Recog...To explore the impact of digital literacy on college students’entrepreneurial opportunity recognition,this study conducted a questionnaire survey using the Digital Literacy Scale,the Entrepreneurial Opportunity Recognition Scale,and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Scale.A total of 542 valid responses were collected.The results revealed a significant positive correlation between digital literacy and entrepreneurial opportunity recognition among college students(β=0.856,P<0.01).Further analysis indicated that innovation and entrepreneurship education plays a positive moderating role in this relationship(β=0.111,P<0.01).In other words,the higher the students’scores in innovation and entrepreneurship education,the stronger the relationship between digital literacy and their ability to recognize entrepreneurial opportunities.展开更多

The world today is undergoing disruptive,transformative shifts driven by a new wave of technological revolutions and industrial changes.In this context,a central question for China’s innovation-driven development str...The world today is undergoing disruptive,transformative shifts driven by a new wave of technological revolutions and industrial changes.In this context,a central question for China’s innovation-driven development strategy is how to effectively identify and measure high-quality technological innovations.Drawing on the stylized facts and scenario narrative of China’s technological landscape,this paper proposes a framework and measurement system for evaluating high-quality technological innovations.While China’s top-level design for technological innovation is guided by policy documents,the increasing number of enterprises applying for“high-tech enterprise”status has coincided with a decline in the quality of patent filings.In response,this paper first underscores the challenges and necessity of measuring the quality of technological innovations.Second,we introduce the high-quality technological innovation indicators and employ them to assess the quality of tech innovations at the firm level,utilizing an approach that combines analogical narrative,gene coding,text analysis,semantic logic,and a database of granted invention patents in China.Third,we examine the systematic and individual biases inherent in citation counts,a commonly used indicator,under specific contexts,and employ a granular instrumental variable approach to validate the effectiveness of the indicators.Finally,we develop a“family tree”of the indicators and explore their application scenarios through a combination of established and extended indicators.Our findings provide a theoretical foundation for evaluating China’s technological innovation quality,inform policy incentives,and offer insights for academia to apply high-quality technological innovation indicators in different contexts.展开更多

With the amendments to the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Patent Law of the People's Republic of China and the Guidelines for Patent Examination,China's patent open license system has been fully ...With the amendments to the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Patent Law of the People's Republic of China and the Guidelines for Patent Examination,China's patent open license system has been fully implemented.The two-year pilot programs have garnered valuable insights into addressing patent royalty pricing,platform operations,and reduction and exemption in annual fees within the patent open license system.From the perspective of diffusion of innovations theory,innovation attributes serve as a key criterion for evaluating the market value of patent open license.The diversified and dynamic innovation attributes lead patentees to adopt pricing models,either algorithmbased pricing or flexible pricing.Mass media and face-to-face interaction channels function as primary vehicles for innovation diffusion through open license information platforms.Specifically,efficient pairing of supply and demand can be done through novel algorithmic matching mechanisms.Furthermore,user feedback modules and real-life engagement strategies can be integrated to facilitate homogeneous communication,enhancing potential licensees'recognition of the patent open license system.Innovation adoption theory suggests that public policy incentives for patentees should target early adopters with higher risk tolerance rather than apply universally.This indicates that,in terms of the reduction and exemption in annual fees,a degressive structure achieves greater incentive efficacy in early stages compared to fixed-amount reduction and exemption.In later phases,it enables systematic pruning of valueless of patent open licenses,yielding superior overall cost-benefit outcomes.展开更多

Cities are important carriers of green innovation.The foundation for accelerating China's ecological civilization construction and fostering regionally coordinated and sustainable development is quantitative analy...Cities are important carriers of green innovation.The foundation for accelerating China's ecological civilization construction and fostering regionally coordinated and sustainable development is quantitative analysis of the spatial evolution pattern and influencing factors of urban green innovation,as well as revealing the development differences between regions.This study's research object includes 284 Chinese cities that are at the prefecture level or above,excluding Xizang,Hong Kong,Macao,and Taiwan of China due to incomplete data.The spatial evolution characteristics of urban green innovation in China between 2005 and 2021 are comprehensively described using the gravity center model and boxplot analysis.The factors that affect urban green innovation are examined using the spatial Durbin model(SDM).The findings indicate that:1)over the period of the study,the gravity center of urban green innovation in China has always been distributed in the Henan-Anhui border region,showing a migration characteristic of‘initially shifting northeast,subsequently southeast',and the migration speed has gradually increased.2)Although there are also noticeable disparities in east-west,the north-south gap is the main cause of the shift in China's urban green innovation gravity center.The primary areas of urban green innovation in China are the cities with green innovation levels higher than the median.3)The main influencing factor of urban green innovation is the industrial structure level.The effect of the financial development level,the government intervention level,and the openness to the outside world degree on urban green innovation is weakened in turn.The environmental regulation degree is not truly influencing urban green innovation.The impact of various factors on green innovation across cities of different sizes,exhibiting heterogeneity.This study is conducive to broadening the academic community's comprehension of the spatial evolution characteristics of urban green innovation and offering a theoretical framework for developing policies for the all-encompassing green transformation of social and economic growth.展开更多

文摘The world today is undergoing disruptive,transformative shifts driven by a new wave of technological revolutions and industrial changes.In this context,a central question for China’s innovation-driven development strategy is how to effectively identify and measure high-quality technological innovations.Drawing on the stylized facts and scenario narrative of China’s technological landscape,this paper proposes a framework and measurement system for evaluating high-quality technological innovations.While China’s top-level design for technological innovation is guided by policy documents,the increasing number of enterprises applying for“high-tech enterprise”status has coincided with a decline in the quality of patent filings.In response,this paper first underscores the challenges and necessity of measuring the quality of technological innovations.Second,we introduce the high-quality technological innovation indicators and employ them to assess the quality of tech innovations at the firm level,utilizing an approach that combines analogical narrative,gene coding,text analysis,semantic logic,and a database of granted invention patents in China.Third,we examine the systematic and individual biases inherent in citation counts,a commonly used indicator,under specific contexts,and employ a granular instrumental variable approach to validate the effectiveness of the indicators.Finally,we develop a“family tree”of the indicators and explore their application scenarios through a combination of established and extended indicators.Our findings provide a theoretical foundation for evaluating China’s technological innovation quality,inform policy incentives,and offer insights for academia to apply high-quality technological innovation indicators in different contexts.

文摘With the amendments to the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Patent Law of the People's Republic of China and the Guidelines for Patent Examination,China's patent open license system has been fully implemented.The two-year pilot programs have garnered valuable insights into addressing patent royalty pricing,platform operations,and reduction and exemption in annual fees within the patent open license system.From the perspective of diffusion of innovations theory,innovation attributes serve as a key criterion for evaluating the market value of patent open license.The diversified and dynamic innovation attributes lead patentees to adopt pricing models,either algorithmbased pricing or flexible pricing.Mass media and face-to-face interaction channels function as primary vehicles for innovation diffusion through open license information platforms.Specifically,efficient pairing of supply and demand can be done through novel algorithmic matching mechanisms.Furthermore,user feedback modules and real-life engagement strategies can be integrated to facilitate homogeneous communication,enhancing potential licensees'recognition of the patent open license system.Innovation adoption theory suggests that public policy incentives for patentees should target early adopters with higher risk tolerance rather than apply universally.This indicates that,in terms of the reduction and exemption in annual fees,a degressive structure achieves greater incentive efficacy in early stages compared to fixed-amount reduction and exemption.In later phases,it enables systematic pruning of valueless of patent open licenses,yielding superior overall cost-benefit outcomes.

文摘This article first comprehensively analyzes the current development status of creative agriculture in Qinhuangdao City,pointing out that it has unique advantages in terms of resource endowments and cultural heritage.Although it has achieved certain results in recent years,it still faces challenges such as low brand awareness,single marketing channels,and insufficient innovation in retail models.In terms of marketing strategy innovation,this article proposes innovative ideas such as digital marketing,cultural IP marketing,and experiential marketing.Regarding retail model innovation,this article explores models such as online and offline integration,community group buying,and live streaming sales.This article presents an outlook for the future development of creative agriculture in Qinhuangdao City based on the research findings.It is believed that with technological advancements and consumption upgrades,creative agriculture has broad prospects.

文摘International trade research has long sought to investigate how manufacturers can upgrade within global value chains and escape the“low-end trap”.This paper examines how collaborative innovation can facilitate this ascent,using an undirected weighted network of joint patent applications and firm-level data.By analyzing the network’s structural characteristics and its evolution,we explore the mechanisms through which collaboration drives the rise of manufacturing enterprises within global value chains.Our findings show that:(1)China’s rapidly expanding collaborative innovation network features a distinct“core-periphery”structure,with leading firms,universities,and government research institutions at its center.(2)By strengthening market power and enabling firms to take on more advanced production,collaborative innovation contributes to a higher domestic value-added rate in exports.(3)Heterogeneity analysis reveals that the impact of collaborative innovation on moving up the value chain is particularly evident for firms with strong production and technology absorption capabilities,those positioned lower in the value chain,and those facing fewer trade barriers.

文摘With the rapid development of artificial intelligence(AI)technology,the teaching mode in the field of education is undergoing profound changes.Especially the design and implementation of personalized learning paths have become an important direction of intelligent teaching reform.The traditional“one-size-fits-all”teaching model has gradually failed to meet the individualized learning needs of students.However,through the advantages of data analysis and real-time feedback,AI technology can provide tailor-made teaching content and learning paths based on students’learning progress,interests,and abilities.This study explores the innovation of the personalized learning path model based on AI technology,and analyzes the potential and challenges of this model in improving teaching effectiveness,promoting the all-round development of students,and optimizing the interaction between teachers and students.Through case analysis and empirical research,this paper summarizes the implementation methods of the AI-driven personalized learning path,the innovation of teaching models,and their application prospects in educational reform.Meanwhile,the research also discussed the ethical issues of AI technology in education,data privacy protection,and its impact on the teacher-student relationship,and proposed corresponding solutions.

文摘Cities are important carriers of green innovation.The foundation for accelerating China's ecological civilization construction and fostering regionally coordinated and sustainable development is quantitative analysis of the spatial evolution pattern and influencing factors of urban green innovation,as well as revealing the development differences between regions.This study's research object includes 284 Chinese cities that are at the prefecture level or above,excluding Xizang,Hong Kong,Macao,and Taiwan of China due to incomplete data.The spatial evolution characteristics of urban green innovation in China between 2005 and 2021 are comprehensively described using the gravity center model and boxplot analysis.The factors that affect urban green innovation are examined using the spatial Durbin model(SDM).The findings indicate that:1)over the period of the study,the gravity center of urban green innovation in China has always been distributed in the Henan-Anhui border region,showing a migration characteristic of‘initially shifting northeast,subsequently southeast',and the migration speed has gradually increased.2)Although there are also noticeable disparities in east-west,the north-south gap is the main cause of the shift in China's urban green innovation gravity center.The primary areas of urban green innovation in China are the cities with green innovation levels higher than the median.3)The main influencing factor of urban green innovation is the industrial structure level.The effect of the financial development level,the government intervention level,and the openness to the outside world degree on urban green innovation is weakened in turn.The environmental regulation degree is not truly influencing urban green innovation.The impact of various factors on green innovation across cities of different sizes,exhibiting heterogeneity.This study is conducive to broadening the academic community's comprehension of the spatial evolution characteristics of urban green innovation and offering a theoretical framework for developing policies for the all-encompassing green transformation of social and economic growth.
文摘Purpose–This study summarizes the overall situation of the resources of the national science and technology innovation platform in the railway industry,including the distribution of platform types,supporting institutions,construction sites,professional fields,etc.,to provide a reference for the further improvement and optimization of the national science and technology innovation platform system in the railway industry.Design/methodology/approach–Through literature review,field investigation,expert consultation and other methods,this paper systematically investigates and analyzes the development status of the national science and technology innovation platform in the railway industry.Findings–Taking the national science and technology innovation platform of the railway industry as the research object,this paper investigates and analyzes the construction,development and distribution of the national science and technology innovation platform of railway industry over the years.And the National Engineering Research Center of High-speed Railway and Urban Rail Transit System Technology was taken as an example to introduce its operation effect.Originality/value–China Railway has made great development achievements,with the construction and development of national science and technology innovation platform in the railway industry.In recent years,a large number of national science and technology innovation platforms have been built in the railway industry,which play an important role in railway technological innovation,standard setting and commodification,and Railway Sciences provide strong support for railway technology development.
