This study explores the clinical efficacy of budesonide combined with ambroxol inhalation therapy for neonatal pneumonia.A total of 68 neonatal pneumonia patients treated at Li County Hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were randomly divided into a monotherapy group and a combination group, with 34 patients in each. The monotherapy group received ambroxol inhalation therapy, while the combination group received budesonide inhalation therapy in addition to ambroxol. The recovery progress, blood gas analysis indicators, inflammatory response improvement, and overall clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results showed that the combination group experienced a significantly shorter time for body temperature normalization(3.36±0.58 days vs.4.59±0.45 days),oxygen inhalation duration(4.89±0.57min vs.6.96±0.79min),disappearance of shortness of breath and cough(4.56±0.29 days vs.6.63±0.75 days),and resolution of lung wet rales(5.62±1.46 days vs.7.92±1.28 days)compared to the monotherapy group(P<0.05).Additionally,the total effective rate was significantly higher in the combination group(97.06%)than in the monotherapy group(73.52%)(P<0.05).Post-treatment,the combination group exhibited significantly better blood gas analysis and inflammatory response indicators(P<0.05).These findings suggest that budesonide combined with ambroxol inhalation therapy can effectively improve blood oxygen saturation, reduce inflammation, promote faster recovery, and enhance overall clinical efficacy, making it a reliable treatment option for neonatal pneumonia. 展开更多

Objective:To analyze the clinical efficacy of tiotropium bromide(TB)combined with budesonide formoterol(BUD/FM)inhalation in treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods:62 COPD patients admitted to the hospital between June 2020 and December 2022 were selected as samples for this study. The patients were divided into a combination group and a conventional group using the random number table method, with 31 cases in each group. The patients in the combination group were treated with TB combined with BUD/FM inhalation, whereas the patients in the conventional group were treated with BUD/FM inhalation only. The treatment efficacy and changes in lung function indicators of both groups were compared. Results:The total efficacy of treatment in the combined group was higher than that in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no difference in pulmonary function indicators between the two groups(P>0.05).After three months of treatment, all lung function indicators of the combined group were higher than those of the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Combining TB with BUD/FM inhalation therapy increases the efficacy of treatment for patients with COPD.Besides,it also improves lung function and leads to a better prognosis. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Patients with keloids who receive radiotherapy(RT)after surgery can develop refractory wounds that cannot be healed by the patient's own repair system.Such chronic wounds are uneven and complex due to persistent abscess and ulceration.Without external intervention, they can easily result in local tissue necrosis or,in severe cases, large area tissue resection, amputation, and even death.CASE SUMMARY This article describes the use of hydrogen to treat a 42-year-old female patient with a chronic wound on her left shoulder. The patient had a skin graft that involved implanting a dilator under the skin of her left shoulder, and then transferring excess skin from her shoulder onto scar tissue on her chest. The skin grafting was followed by two rounds of RT,after which the shoulder wound had difficulty healing. For six months, the patient was treated with 2 h of hydrogen inhalation(HI)therapy per day,in addition to application of sterile gauze on the wound and periodic debridement. We also performed one deep, large, sharp debridement to enlarge the wound area. The wound healed completely within 6 mo of beginning the HI treatment.CONCLUSION After HI therapy, the patient showed superior progress in reepithelialization and wound repair, with eventual wound closure in 6 mo,in comparison with the previous failures of hyperbaric oxygen and recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor therapies. Our work showed that HI therapy could be a new strategy for wound healing that is cleaner, more convenient, and less expensive than other therapies,as well as easily accessible for further application in clinical wound care. 展开更多

Objective: to discuss and analyze the application and research of atomization inhalation therapy in pediatric respiratory diseases. Methods: from February 2019 to May 2020, 70 children with respiratory diseases were selected as the research object. The 70 children were divided into two groups, A and B, with 35 children in each group. Patients in group A were given routine clinical medication, while patients in group B were given aerosol inhalation therapy. Finally, the therapeutic effects and the remission time of clinical symptoms of the two groups were compared. Results: after implementing the corresponding treatment measures in the two groups, it can be seen that the therapeutic effect of group B on children reached 96.24%, while that of group A only reached 79.23%. Comparing the data obtained from the two groups of children's therapeutic effects, it has statistical significance (P < 0.05). In addition, the time for the clinical symptoms of the two groups of children to disappear was significantly shorter in group B than in group A, and the two groups also had statistical significance (P < 0.05). After treatment, the data of blood oxygen saturation and maximal respiratory flow rate in group B were all better than those in group A, and the two groups also had statistical significance (P < 0.05). Conclusion: through this study, it can be seen that atomization inhalation therapy is more effective in the treatment of pediatric respiratory diseases, and it can also relieve various clinical symptoms of children in the shortest time. Atomization inhalation therapy is also safer in clinic, so it can be seen that atomization inhalation therapy is more effective. 展开更多

RNA-based gene therapy has been widely used for various diseases, and extensive studies have proved that suitable delivery routes greatly help the development of RNA therapeutics.Identifying a safe and effective delivery system is key to realizing RNA therapeutics’clinical translation.Inhalation is a non-invasive pulmonary delivery modality that can enhance the retention of therapeutic agents in the lungs with negligible toxicity, thereby improving patient compliance.Inhaled RNA therapeutics are increasingly becoming an area of focus for researchers;however, only several clinical trials have explored inhaled delivery of RNA for pulmonary diseases. This review presents an overview of recent advances in inhaled delivery systems for RNA therapeutics, including viral and nonviral systems, highlighting state of the art regarding inhalation in the messenger RNA(mRNA)field. We also summarize the applications of mRNA inhalants in infectious and other lung diseases.Simultaneously, the research progresses on small interfering RNAs(siRNAs),antisense oligonucleotides(ASOs),and different types of RNA are also discussed to provide new strategies for developing RNA inhalation therapy. Finally,we clarify the challenges inhaled RNA-based therapeutics face before their widespread adoption and provide insights to help advance this exciting field to the bedside. 展开更多
