Infusion port catheterization helps to relieve venous pressure, facilitates infusion and medication, and effectively protects the patient's skin and vein. However, phlebothrombosis, Infusion port rejection, skin rupture, infection, catheter rupture, fibrin sheath formation and other related complications may also be caused after infusion port catheterization. The application of infusion port catheterization for patients can be strengthened through health education for patients, patients can be protected more scientifically and reasonably in infusion port and prevent the occurrence of related complications. At the same time, in the process of placement and the application of the infusion port in the later period, the corresponding operation procedures should be strictly followed and the operation should be standardized. In the course of nursing, once the occurrence of related complications is found, it should be reported to the physician in time, and effective measures should be taken for treatment to avoid the further development of related complications.展开更多

Methods: from February 2019 to January 2021, 82 patients with implantable intravenous infusion port were treated in our hospital. According to the parity of admission number, 41 odd cases entered the control group for routine discharge follow-up nursing; An even number of 41 patients entered the experimental group and adopted the continuous nursing system. The maintenance compliance, self-care ability and quality of life of infusion port were compared. Results: the excellent and good rate of maintenance compliance of infusion port in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group (97.56% vs 82.93%);After the intervention, the scores of ESCA and QOL in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group. The test results showed that there was significant difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the continuous nursing system for discharged patients in intravenous infusion port can not only improve the maintenance compliance of infusion port, but also improve their self-care ability and quality of life, so it is worth popularizing.展开更多
