A series of bioactive bis(indolyl)methanes are synthesized by one-pot green reaction of indole with various substituted aldehydes by microwave irradiation under solvent free conditions. The antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and anti-inflammatory activity of the synthesized bis(indolyl)-methanes are evaluated in vitro and compared to standard drugs tetracycline and diclofenac,respectively. The majority of the compounds showed good antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity.Interestingly, compounds 3j, 3i, 3k and 3g exhibited much higher anti-inflammatory activity than the standard diclofenac drug and thus qualify for clinical trials to be used as an anti-inflammatory compound. 展开更多

Twelve indolyl diketopiperazines 1-12 were isolated from the mycelia culture of Aspergillus penicilliodes Speg.,a dominant microorganism from the post fermentation process of ripe Pu-er tea.Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic methods.Among them,trypostatins C(1)and D(2)featuring with a rare methyl vinyl ketone side chain at C-2 are new compounds,while 3 and 4 were obtained for the first time from nature source.The isolates 3-12 did not show obvious cytotoxicities against five human cancer cell lines at a concentration of 40μM. 展开更多

The anticancer activities of synthesized benzylthio-indolyl-triazol-amine derivatives 1a^1c were investigated via theoretical scales. The experimental results show that derivative 1a has the highest anticancer activity, and 1c has the lowest one. The interactions of 1a^1c with C-nanotube(5,5) were investigated. Also the quantum molecular descriptors of derivatives 1a^1c were calculated and the results show that they can interact with C-nanotube(5,5) effectively. The adsorptions of 1a^1c on C-nanotube(5,5) surface were exothermic and experimentally possible from the energetic viewpoint. The results indicated that ΔEad and ΔGad values of derivative 1a on C-nanotube(5,5) were higher than those of the corresponding derivatives 1b and 1c, so 1a has the highest |μ|, ω and |?N| values and the lowest value, and the trends of theoretical anticancer activities of 1a^1c are similar to the experimental values successfully. 展开更多

A novel indolyl-based NCN pincer ligand precursor HL(HL=(1-(2-(CH_(2))_(4)NCH_(2)CH_(2))-3-(2,6-ipr_(2)C_(6)H_(3)N=CH)C_(8)H_(5)N))was rationally and precisely designed,and successfully prepared in a high yield.Lithiation of HL with ^(n)BuLi in n-hexane,followed by treatment with RECl_(3) in THF led to the isolation of rare-earth metal chlorides in monomeric form(κ^(3)-L)RECI_(2)(THF)(RE=Sc(2),Yb(3)),and dimeric form[(κ^(3)-L)RECI(THF)(μ-Cl)]_(2)(RE=Er(4),Y(5))bearing the novel indolyl-based NCN pincer ligand in designed pincer ligation depending on different metal ionic radii;and the chloride bridged rare-earth metal and lithium mixed complexes in form(κ^(2)-L)_(2)RE(μ-Cl)_(2)Li(THF)_(2)(RE=Y(6),Dy(7)).All complexes were fully characterized and their structures were determined.The diamagnetic complexes 2,5 and 6 were furtherly characterized by the NMR spectroscopic method.The catalytic activity studies revealed that the central metal ions,borates,aluminum alkyls,and ligation of the central metal ions have influences on catalytic activity,and regio-and stereoselectivity for the polymerization of isoprene.With cooperation of the cocatalysts,the pincer-type yttrium chloride 5 initiated the isoprene polymerization with a high activity producing polymers with high regio-and stereoselectivity(1,4-cis polymers up to 99.6%),and the Mn as high as 8.76×10^(5). 展开更多
