Based on the GIS spatial analysis technology,this paper assessed the effects of Nanchang metro in improving the accessibility of public transport networks in different spatial patterns.Besides,from the perspective of ...Based on the GIS spatial analysis technology,this paper assessed the effects of Nanchang metro in improving the accessibility of public transport networks in different spatial patterns.Besides,from the perspective of transport fairness,this paper evaluated the fairness of allocation of transportation resources for indemnificatory housing residents.Then,it revealed the reasons for the welfare loss of indemnificatory housing residents in fast rail transit resources,so as to provide a reference for promoting the space adaptation of indemnificatory housing residents.The study found that(i)the subway has improved the accessibility of the urban public transport network in terms of travel time and accessibility,but it has a different effect on improving the accessibility of the public transport network.After crossing a certain transit time and distance,there is a weakening trend,showing a pattern of"central expansion-peripheral weakness".(ii)The relative improvement of the metro on the accessibility of public transport for indemnificatory housing residents is lower than the overall improvement efficiency,and the fairness of the redistribution of transportation resources of the indemnificatory housing residents is impaired.(iii)In order to prevent and reduce the problem of space mismatch between indemnificatory housing and rail transit,it can be achieved by planning the metro network according to the spatial characteristics of indemnificatory housing residents’activities,guiding the selection of sites for indemnificatory housing with the TOD model,and forming a mixed community by combining the indemnificatory housing construction with commercial housing,to guarantee fair resource allocation of indemnificatory housing residents.展开更多
The use of computer in architectural design shouldn’t sacrifice the pursuit of a human-oriented built environment.The technological applications should be legitimated by the objectives and motivations in multiple dim...The use of computer in architectural design shouldn’t sacrifice the pursuit of a human-oriented built environment.The technological applications should be legitimated by the objectives and motivations in multiple dimensions,but not abuse its generative power against the social and cultural interests.This article is based upon our synthetic computational design research for high density indemnificatory housing in China(Fig.1),which challenges the conventional standard design for large scale social housing in the Industrial Era,and reflects our exploration for innovative,multi-disciplinary,systematic and synthetic design in the new design paradigm of computation.It also promotes to shift the privilege of cutting-edge design techniques and avant-garde concepts from the“High(end)Architecture”to the ordinary architecture during the unprecedented built-environment development in China.Architectural design should have no discrimination between the Olympic stadiums in the capital and the social housing in the subordinate developed cities,as they both need to be innovative and meaningful.The final design research outputs address sustainable transformation initiated by the residents during the whole life span of the housing.We believe that the human factor(including stakeholders,users,designers and builders)is even more important in architectural design,city planning,urban design,landscape and interior design while technology development is accelerating.Conceptualization,imagination and systemization would become significant pacemakers which perpetuate design innovation.展开更多

Accelerating the construction of indemnificatory housing is...In recent years, the Chinese government has taken lots of measures to expand domestic demand and promote economic growth in response to the financial crisis. Accelerating the construction of indemnificatory housing is one of the most important measures. In order to solve the problem of the insufficient supply of the indemnificatory housing, the government speed up the construction of indemnificatory housing and constantly expand the scale of the construction. With the increase of indemnificatory housing, the problem of construction fund is increasingly highlighted. Large-scale construction of indemnificatory housing in the short term results in large funds pressure. Indemnificatory housing fund has several notable features, it requires a large demand for money and the capital turnover time is quite long. Also, its poor liquidity makes it difficult to get your money out at any time. In this article, the present situation and existing problems of indemnificatory housing are analyzed, the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward combining the capital sources of indemnificatory housing, so as to provide reference for indemnificatory housing financing.展开更多
