And such process generates a significant amount of impurities such as aluminum and iron ions in leaching solution simultaneously. The surface characteristics and interactions by infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction were studied to optimize the leaching conditions. It is found that the environment-friendly depressant LG-01 can react with the impurity ions through the formation of a new complex on the surface of leaching residues. Thus, it reduces significantly the concentration of impurity ions in leaching solution and improves the leaching rate of rare-earth ore. Moreover, a leaching rate of 95.6% and an impurity removal rate of 92% have been achieved under the optimized conditions.展开更多

The potential caused by the impurity has been plotted which is helpful to the understanding of the electronic structures inside the ring. The deep valley appearing in the potential curve is the source of localization, which affects seriously the Aharonov-Bohm oscillation (ABO) of the energy and persistent current. It also causes the fluctuation of the total orbital angular momentum L of the pair of electrons. It is found that the appearance of the impurity reduces the domain of the fractional ABO. During the increase of B, the domain of the integral ABO may appear earlier when B is even quite small. The transition from the localized states to extended states has also been studied. Furthermore, it has deduced a set of related formulae for a transformation, by which an impurity with a charge ep placed at an arbitrary point Rp is equivalent to an impurity with a revised charge ep placed at the X-axis with a revised radial distance Rp. This transformation facilitates the calculation and make the analysis of the physical result clearer.展开更多

On the basis of extraction equilibrium and mass balance, the ASIR in a two-component extraction separation was deducted and its simplified expressions were given for different process sections according to reasonable assumptions. The calculation simulation was then carried out to obtain the ASIR distribution in the cascade. The results showed that in both the extraction and scrubbing sections the ASIR principally increased with the decrease of the molar proportion of the impurity but along with a flat appearing in the purification zone located in the middle of the cascade. The ASIR intuitively exhibits the running status of RE extraction separation and purification, which could provide a theoretic guide for investigating the influence factors of RE extraction separation process in practical industry.展开更多

The unknown impurity structure was proposed as 4-[2-(propan-2oylamino)ethyl]benzene-l,2-diol (Imp-II) using the liquid chromatography-mass spectrophotometry (LC-MS) analysis. Imp-II was isolated by semi-preparative liquid chromatography from the impurity-enriched reaction crude sample. Its proposed structure was confirmed by nuclear magnetic spectroscopy such as 1H, 13C, DEPT (1D NMR), HSQC (2D NMR) and infrared spectroscopy (IR), and retention time and purity with HPLC followed by the chemical synthesis. Due to less removable nature of Imp-II during the purification, the synthetic process was optimized proficiently to control the formation of Imp-II below to the limit 〈 0.12% in the course of reaction. The new chemical route was developed for the preparation of this impurity in required quantity with purity to use as reference standard. The most probable mechanism for the formation of Imp-II was discussed in details.展开更多

The effect of impurity ions introduced by system on the carbonation reaction of magnesium hydroxide was studied in the work. The results showed that the presence of Ca2+could lead to side reactions so as to reduce the conversion rate of magnesium hydroxide, and a small number of rare earth ions would have great influence on the carbonation reaction. What’s more, there was no influence on carbonation reaction with the low concen-tration of Na+or Mg2+, the conversion rate of magnesium hydroxide could reach above 96%. 文摘In past decades,ABX_(3) halide perovskites have attracted great interest in solar cells due to excellent opto-electronic properties, such as high carrier mobility. However, instability and toxicity are obstacles on the commercial route for perovskites. Many studies have turned to exploring A_(2) BX_(6) and A_(3) B_(2) X_(9) for better stability.Unfortunately, the carrier mobilities of these two types are inferior to ABX_(3),lower by an order of magnitude.Furthermore, the mobility of ABX_(3) is distributed over a large range of 1.78-4500 cm^(2) V^(−1) s^(−1) in experiments, which contributes to another diversity of mobilities. In this paper,we aim at reveal-ing the physical origin of the above-mentioned diversities by theoretical studies on CsBX_(3),Cs_(2) BX_(6),and Cs_(3) B_(2) X_(9)(B=Sn,Pb,Sb,Bi,X=Br,Cl).The difference in group velocities is the major reason responsible for the variation in these types. The unique three-dimensional connected conductive network of CsBX_(3) determines its large group velocity. As for carrier scattering, ionized impurity scattering dominates at low carrier and high ionized impurity concentrations.Detailed analysis reveals that band degeneracy is strongly related to the impurity scattering rate, while dielectric constant is almost immune. Our study provides a better understanding of the relationship between electronic structures and mobilities for po-tential applications in photovoltaics.

文摘The effect of impurity element Fe on corrosion behavior of AZ61 magnesium alloys in various states has been investigated by immersion test and hydrogen evolution measurements in 3.5% sodium chloride solution. The corrosion rate is found to relay on the impurity Fe concentration in the alloys and decreases with decreasing Fe content. When Fe content drops from 150 ppm to 10 ppm,the corresponding corrosion rates under as-cast and solution treatment conditions are reduced from 8.54 mm/a and 8.61 mm/a to 2.54 mm/a and 0.21 mm/a,respectively.The corrosion pattern of the AZ61 alloys is the localized corrosion, and the galvanic couples are formed among the impurity particles,second-phase particles and the matrix. The Fe impurity particles tend to act as main cathodic to form micro-galvanic cell with the α-Mg matrix, which is harmful for corrosion resistance of AZ61 alloy.

文摘This paper studies the effect of a charged impurity together with or without an external homogeneous electric field on a quantum ring threaded by a magnetic field B and containing two electrons. This transformation facilitates the calculation and make the analysis of the physical result clearer.

文摘Impurity components decrease stage by stage in a cascade of rare earth (RE) extraction separation, and adjacent stage impurity ratio (ASIR) which is defined as the ratio of an impurity's contents in the aqueous/organic phase of two adjacent stages can be used to evaluate the capacity of impurity removal for the two stages. The ASIR intuitively exhibits the running status of RE extraction separation and purification, which could provide a theoretic guide for investigating the influence factors of RE extraction separation process in practical industry.
文摘Pantoprazole sodium, a substituted benzimidazole derivative, is an irreversible proton pump inhibitor which is primarily used for the treatment of duodenal ulcers, gastric ulcers, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The monographs of European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) and United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) specify six impurities, viz.;impurities A, B, C, D, E and F, respectively for its active pharmaceutical ingredient (API). The identification and synthesis of all impurities except impurity E are well described in the literature;however, there is no report related to impurity E. The prospects to the formation and controlling of impurity E up to -0.03% in the synthesis of pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate (PAN) were discussed in detail for the first time. The present work described the journey towards the successful development of an optimal preparation procedure of dimer impurity E. The most plausible mechanism involved in the formation of impurity E has been proposed.
文摘One unknown impurity (Imp-II) during the analysis of laboratory batches of isoproterenol hydrochloride was detected in the level ranging from 0.04% to 0.12% by high performance liquid chromatography with UV detection. The most probable mechanism for the formation of Imp-II was discussed in details.

文摘Impurity transports in two neighboring discharges with and without electron cyclotron resonance heating(ECRH)are studied in the HL-2A tokamak by laser blow-off(LBO) technique. The progression of aluminium ions as the trace impurity is monitored by soft x-ray(SXR) and bolometer detector arrays with good temporal and spatial resolutions.Obvious difference in the time trace of the signal between the Ohmic and ECRH L-mode discharges is observed.Based on the numerical simulation with one-dimensional(1D) impurity transport code STRAHL,the radial profiles of impurity diffusion coefficient D and convective velocity V are obtained for each shot. The result shows that the diffusion coefficient D significantly increases throughout the plasma minor radius for the ECRH case with respect to the Ohmic case, and that the convection velocity V changes from negative(inward) for the Ohmic case to partially positive(outward) for the ECRH case. The result on HL-2A confirms the pump out effect of ECRH on impurity profile as reported on various other devices.

文摘Magnesium bicarbonate, prepared by the carbonation of magnesium hydroxide slurry, was used as a novel saponifier to eliminate the ammonia nitrogen pollution in the rare earth extraction separation process. This paper showed a practical theory which could provide scientific guidance for the preparation of novel saponifier in rare earth extraction separation process.
