The efficient implementation of the Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)is crucial for network data security.This paper presents novel hardware implementations of the AES S-box,a core component,using tower field represen...The efficient implementation of the Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)is crucial for network data security.This paper presents novel hardware implementations of the AES S-box,a core component,using tower field representations and Boolean Satisfiability(SAT)solvers.Our research makes several significant contri-butions to the field.Firstly,we have optimized the GF(24)inversion,achieving a remarkable 31.35%area reduction(15.33 GE)compared to the best known implementations.Secondly,we have enhanced multiplication implementa-tions for transformation matrices using a SAT-method based on local solutions.This approach has yielded notable improvements,such as a 22.22%reduction in area(42.00 GE)for the top transformation matrix in GF((24)2)-type S-box implementation.Furthermore,we have proposed new implementations of GF(((22)2)2)-type and GF((24)2)-type S-boxes,with the GF(((22)2)2)-type demonstrating superior performance.This implementation offers two variants:a small area variant that sets new area records,and a fast variant that establishes new benchmarks in Area-Execution-Time(AET)and energy consumption.Our approach significantly improves upon existing S-box implementations,offering advancements in area,speed,and energy consumption.These optimizations contribute to more efficient and secure AES implementations,potentially enhancing various cryptographic applications in the field of network security.展开更多

Background:Community-based first responders face high levels of workplace stressors that can pro-foundly impact their physical and mental health.Mindfulness-based interventions have shown promise in decreasing stress ...Background:Community-based first responders face high levels of workplace stressors that can pro-foundly impact their physical and mental health.Mindfulness-based interventions have shown promise in decreasing stress and increasing psychological resilience;however,implementation is difficult due to unpredictability of the job,department culture,and generational preferences.The objective of this qualitative study was to identify and enhance understanding of the specific needs and potential barriers and facilitators for the implementation of mindfulness-based programming for community-based first responders.Methods:A phenomenological qualitative study design was used to gain insights into the lived experiences of first responders and elicit perceptions regarding barriers and facilitators for engaging in mindfulness activities.During virtual semi-structured interviews,eleven career firefighters and emergency medical service(EMS)providers offered feedback relative to worksite mindfulness practices,and the use of a stress reduction smartphone application.The Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research was used to guide the analysis relative to barriers and facilitators of implementation success and sustainability.Results:First responders expressed openness to mindfulness-based interventions and a smartphone app that would provide stress reduction content,however,they were adamant that programming needed to be accessible and easily integrated into their workday.They also reinforced that organizational culture and leadership support for their health and well-being were overarching factors essential for implementation success.Conclusions:First responders were supportive of evidence-based mindfulness practices,optimally developed and/or facilitated by someone with intimate knowledge of their unique work environments and challenges.Organizational culture and leadership support were essential for implementation success and sustainability.展开更多
Objective:The World Health Organization recommends annual preventive chemotherapy with a single dose of praziquantel at≥75%treatment coverage,but as of 2021,the national coverage rate in Nigeria among children falls ...Objective:The World Health Organization recommends annual preventive chemotherapy with a single dose of praziquantel at≥75%treatment coverage,but as of 2021,the national coverage rate in Nigeria among children falls below 10%.This qualitative study sought to explore the barriers and facilitators to implementing large-scale praziquantel mass drug administration(MDA)programs for school-aged children in Nigeria to delineate tools and strategies that could improve the scaling-up and effectiveness of school-based praziquantel MDA programs.Methods:An exploratory qualitative study was conducted with stakeholders with experience in MDAs involving praziquantel or related preventive chemotherapy drugs in Nigeria.Through snowball sampling,30 stakeholders with experience in praziquantel school-based MDA in Nigeria were interviewed.An inductive approach was used to generate broad themes based on the barriers and facilitators identified by the key informants.Results:A total of 45 barriers and 36 facilitators were identified and grouped inductively into eight themes:funding and resources,design and composition of praziquantel tablets,knowledge and awareness mobilization,government,nongovernmental organization,and school engagement,data management,logistics,training,and security.Conclusion:This qualitative study reveals a wide range of barriers and facilitators in the MDA of praziquantel in Nigeria and uncovered critical points along the implementation pathway based on the locus of the barriers and facilitators identified.Collaboration with national,international,and non-profit organizations,and drug education through promotional materials,were the most frequently mentioned facilitators of the MDA program.In addition,insufficient program funding,and the complexity of the supply chain were the most cited barriers.展开更多
The demand for Chinese-Western medicine collaboration has grown significantly,but current integration methods have substantial limitations.This article analyzes core issues in developing and implementing synergistic C...The demand for Chinese-Western medicine collaboration has grown significantly,but current integration methods have substantial limitations.This article analyzes core issues in developing and implementing synergistic Chinese-Western medicine clinical treatment strategies and explores the transformation from traditional integration to genuine synergistic models.We analyzed methodological obstacles in synergistic strategy development through literature review and theoretical analysis,and explored applications of intelligent technology in strategy development.Four core challenges were identified:(1)Treatment timing coordination difficulties caused by different decision-making approaches,with Chinese medicine using syndrome-based assessments and Western medicine relying on standardized measurements;(2)Treatment selection complexities when integrating different types of evidence,lacking frameworks for evaluating and combining diverse evidence sources;(3)Obstacles in incorporating patient preferences systematically,with inadequate assessment methods and unclear integration mechanisms;(4)Implementation barriers in translating synergistic strategies into clinical practice,requiring changes in organizational structures,workflows,and evaluation systems.Large language models(LLMs)and other intelligent technologies offer technical support for addressing these methodological challenges.This article examines current challenges in developing synergistic Chinese-Western medicine clinical strategies,analyzing the shift from traditional integration toward synergistic approaches and identifying four core methodological obstacles.Exploring intelligent technology applications provides insights to inform future research directions and clinical practice development in integrated healthcare delivery.展开更多

Chemistry science popularization for lower grades(Grades 1-2)in primary schools is an important part of science enlightenment education.However,in practice,it generally faces practical dilemmas such as insufficient co...Chemistry science popularization for lower grades(Grades 1-2)in primary schools is an important part of science enlightenment education.However,in practice,it generally faces practical dilemmas such as insufficient content adaptability,a single implementation method,and a lack of coordination mechanisms.Based on Piaget’s Cognitive Development Theory and the STSE(Science,Technology,Society,Environment)educational concept,this study constructed a four-in-one strategy system of“content development-teaching implementation-collaborative linkage-guarantee support”through literature analysis,action research,and empirical comparison.An empirical study was conducted in two primary schools for one academic year.The results show that this strategy system can increase students’interest in participating in chemistry science popularization by 42 percentage points,the compliance rate of observation ability reaches 85%,and the collaborative participation of families,schools,and society rises to 85%.The core strategies formed in the study,including“age-appropriate content screening,interactive teaching implementation,three-dimensional collaborative promotion,and full-process guarantee support,”provide a replicable practical model for the standardized and efficient development of chemistry science popularization for lower grades in primary schools.They also offer empirical references for fulfilling the requirement of“strengthening the pertinence and effectiveness of science popularization”in the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Popularization of Science and Technology(revised in 2024).展开更多

This paper presents the simulation and implementation of a reconfigurable pixel that serves both data acquisition and energy harvesting purposes.The main topic focuses on switching between the two operating modes of t...This paper presents the simulation and implementation of a reconfigurable pixel that serves both data acquisition and energy harvesting purposes.The main topic focuses on switching between the two operating modes of the photodiode:photoconductive and photovoltaic modes.This proposed model can be used to design novel optical sensors with energy harvesting capability,such as position sensitive device(PSD)and complementary metal oxide semiconductor(CMOS)image sensors,which can extend the battery lifetime of the whole optical system.Thus,we can overcome power supply problems like wiring and changing batteries frequently,especially in hard-to-reach places like space(cube satellites)or even underwater wireless optical communication(UWOC).The proposed pixel architecture offers the advantage of a minimalistic design with only four transistors.Nevertheless,it does come with a drawback in the form of higher noise levels.The simulation was achieved using MATLAB,and the implementation was performed using the programmable system-on-chip(PSoC)microcontroller.The results showed that the functionality of the dual-function pixel is correct,and the scheduling of both energy harvesting and signal sensing functions was successfully achieved.展开更多

Simple line and point defects have been used to design the structure. The performance of the structure has been analyzed and investigated by plane wave expansion(PWE) and finite difference time domain(FDTD) methods. Different performance parameters, namely contrast ratio(CR), rise time, fall time, delay time, response time and bit rate, have been calculated. The main advantage of the proposed design is that all the Pauli gates have been realized from a single structure. Due to compact size, fast response time, good CR and high bit rate, the proposed structure can be highly useful for optical computing, data processing and optical integrated circuits.展开更多

It has over 9,000 positive recommendations from official government and clinical guidelines. However, it still remains relatively inaccessible in the United States, Europe and elsewhere, especially compared to the strength of evidence-based recommendations for its use. Acupuncture would benefit from robust implementation strategies, utilizing insights and approaches from implementation science. The clinical use of Botox for migraine suffered from weaker evidence of effectiveness and greater evidence of harm, but using a streamlined and robust implementation strategy, Allergan was able to achieve widespread implementation from when it began its efforts around 2010. Such a systematic approach that identifies and overcomes barriers to implementation for acupuncture would benefit millions of people who currently are offered less effective and more invasive treatments, contrary to the recommendations of clinical guidelines.展开更多

To design a high-performance S-box, a segmented optimization implementation of the S-box is proposed based on the composite field inverse operation in this paper. This proposed S-box implementation is modeled using Verilog language and synthesized using Design Complier software under the premise of ensuring the correctness of the simulation result. The synthesis results show that, compared to several current S-box implementation schemes, the proposed implementation of the S-box significantly reduces the area overhead and critical path delay, then gets higher hardware efficiency. 文摘Background:Community-based first responders face high levels of workplace stressors that can pro-foundly impact their physical and mental health.Mindfulness-based interventions have shown promise in decreasing stress and increasing psychological resilience;however,implementation is difficult due to unpredictability of the job,department culture,and generational preferences.The objective of this qualitative study was to identify and enhance understanding of the specific needs and potential barriers and facilitators for the implementation of mindfulness-based programming for community-based first responders.Methods:A phenomenological qualitative study design was used to gain insights into the lived experiences of first responders and elicit perceptions regarding barriers and facilitators for engaging in mindfulness activities.During virtual semi-structured interviews,eleven career firefighters and emergency medical service(EMS)providers offered feedback relative to worksite mindfulness practices,and the use of a stress reduction smartphone application.The Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research was used to guide the analysis relative to barriers and facilitators of implementation success and sustainability.Results:First responders expressed openness to mindfulness-based interventions and a smartphone app that would provide stress reduction content,however,they were adamant that programming needed to be accessible and easily integrated into their workday.They also reinforced that organizational culture and leadership support for their health and well-being were overarching factors essential for implementation success.Conclusions:First responders were supportive of evidence-based mindfulness practices,optimally developed and/or facilitated by someone with intimate knowledge of their unique work environments and challenges.Organizational culture and leadership support were essential for implementation success and sustainability.

文摘Objective:The World Health Organization recommends annual preventive chemotherapy with a single dose of praziquantel at≥75%treatment coverage,but as of 2021,the national coverage rate in Nigeria among children falls below 10%.This qualitative study sought to explore the barriers and facilitators to implementing large-scale praziquantel mass drug administration(MDA)programs for school-aged children in Nigeria to delineate tools and strategies that could improve the scaling-up and effectiveness of school-based praziquantel MDA programs.Methods:An exploratory qualitative study was conducted with stakeholders with experience in MDAs involving praziquantel or related preventive chemotherapy drugs in Nigeria.Through snowball sampling,30 stakeholders with experience in praziquantel school-based MDA in Nigeria were interviewed.An inductive approach was used to generate broad themes based on the barriers and facilitators identified by the key informants.Results:A total of 45 barriers and 36 facilitators were identified and grouped inductively into eight themes:funding and resources,design and composition of praziquantel tablets,knowledge and awareness mobilization,government,nongovernmental organization,and school engagement,data management,logistics,training,and security.Conclusion:This qualitative study reveals a wide range of barriers and facilitators in the MDA of praziquantel in Nigeria and uncovered critical points along the implementation pathway based on the locus of the barriers and facilitators identified.Collaboration with national,international,and non-profit organizations,and drug education through promotional materials,were the most frequently mentioned facilitators of the MDA program.In addition,insufficient program funding,and the complexity of the supply chain were the most cited barriers.

文摘The demand for Chinese-Western medicine collaboration has grown significantly,but current integration methods have substantial limitations.This article analyzes core issues in developing and implementing synergistic Chinese-Western medicine clinical treatment strategies and explores the transformation from traditional integration to genuine synergistic models.We analyzed methodological obstacles in synergistic strategy development through literature review and theoretical analysis,and explored applications of intelligent technology in strategy development.Four core challenges were identified:(1)Treatment timing coordination difficulties caused by different decision-making approaches,with Chinese medicine using syndrome-based assessments and Western medicine relying on standardized measurements;(2)Treatment selection complexities when integrating different types of evidence,lacking frameworks for evaluating and combining diverse evidence sources;(3)Obstacles in incorporating patient preferences systematically,with inadequate assessment methods and unclear integration mechanisms;(4)Implementation barriers in translating synergistic strategies into clinical practice,requiring changes in organizational structures,workflows,and evaluation systems.Large language models(LLMs)and other intelligent technologies offer technical support for addressing these methodological challenges.This article examines current challenges in developing synergistic Chinese-Western medicine clinical strategies,analyzing the shift from traditional integration toward synergistic approaches and identifying four core methodological obstacles.Exploring intelligent technology applications provides insights to inform future research directions and clinical practice development in integrated healthcare delivery.

文摘Objective:This study aimed to explore the strategies used by acute care hospitals in implementing a national standard for comprehensive care.Methods:A qualitative descriptive study was conducted with 28 care professionals(20 nurses,two doctors,and six allied health professionals)recruited from a broad range of Australian acute care hospitals.Data were collected using semi-structured interviews from March to August 2023.The interviews were audio-recorded,transcribed,and thematically analyzed.Results:Strategies for implementing the Comprehensive Care Standard(CCS)vary,even within a health service organization.We identifiedstrategies hospitals used regarding the implementation team and plan,communication,education and training,documentation system,patient care plan,networking,incentives and pressure,feedback,and reflectingand evaluating.Conclusions:This interview study sheds light on the various strategies adopted by hospitals in implementing the CCS,providing a practical foundation to inform implementation efforts both within Australia and internationally.

文摘Chemistry science popularization for lower grades(Grades 1-2)in primary schools is an important part of science enlightenment education.However,in practice,it generally faces practical dilemmas such as insufficient content adaptability,a single implementation method,and a lack of coordination mechanisms.Based on Piaget’s Cognitive Development Theory and the STSE(Science,Technology,Society,Environment)educational concept,this study constructed a four-in-one strategy system of“content development-teaching implementation-collaborative linkage-guarantee support”through literature analysis,action research,and empirical comparison.An empirical study was conducted in two primary schools for one academic year.The results show that this strategy system can increase students’interest in participating in chemistry science popularization by 42 percentage points,the compliance rate of observation ability reaches 85%,and the collaborative participation of families,schools,and society rises to 85%.The core strategies formed in the study,including“age-appropriate content screening,interactive teaching implementation,three-dimensional collaborative promotion,and full-process guarantee support,”provide a replicable practical model for the standardized and efficient development of chemistry science popularization for lower grades in primary schools.They also offer empirical references for fulfilling the requirement of“strengthening the pertinence and effectiveness of science popularization”in the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Popularization of Science and Technology(revised in 2024).

文摘Our concern is to investigate controlled remote implementation of partially unknown operations with multiple layers.We first propose a scheme to realize the remote implementation of singlequbit operations belonging to the restricted sets.Then,the proposed scheme is extended to the case of single-qudit operations.As long as the controller and the higher-layer senders consent,the receiver can restore the desired state remotely operated by the sender.It is worth mentioning that the recovery operation is deduced by general formulas which clearly reveal the relationship with the measurement outcomes.For the sake of clarity,two specific examples with two levels are given respectively.In addition,we discuss the influence of amplitude-damping noise and utilize weak measurement and measurement reversal to effectively resist noise.

文摘This paper presents the simulation and implementation of a reconfigurable pixel that serves both data acquisition and energy harvesting purposes.The main topic focuses on switching between the two operating modes of the photodiode:photoconductive and photovoltaic modes.This proposed model can be used to design novel optical sensors with energy harvesting capability,such as position sensitive device(PSD)and complementary metal oxide semiconductor(CMOS)image sensors,which can extend the battery lifetime of the whole optical system.Thus,we can overcome power supply problems like wiring and changing batteries frequently,especially in hard-to-reach places like space(cube satellites)or even underwater wireless optical communication(UWOC).The proposed pixel architecture offers the advantage of a minimalistic design with only four transistors.Nevertheless,it does come with a drawback in the form of higher noise levels.The simulation was achieved using MATLAB,and the implementation was performed using the programmable system-on-chip(PSoC)microcontroller.The results showed that the functionality of the dual-function pixel is correct,and the scheduling of both energy harvesting and signal sensing functions was successfully achieved.
文摘In this paper, we have designed and simulated all-optical tristate Pauli X, Y and Z gates using 2D photonic crystal. Simple line and point defects have been used to design the structure. The performance of the structure has been analyzed and investigated by plane wave expansion(PWE) and finite difference time domain(FDTD) methods. Different performance parameters, namely contrast ratio(CR), rise time, fall time, delay time, response time and bit rate, have been calculated. The main advantage of the proposed design is that all the Pauli gates have been realized from a single structure. Due to compact size, fast response time, good CR and high bit rate, the proposed structure can be highly useful for optical computing, data processing and optical integrated circuits.
文摘Acupuncture enjoys a robust evidence base for dozens of clinical conditions and decades of research exploring its mechanisms of action. It has over 9,000 positive recommendations from official government and clinical guidelines. However, it still remains relatively inaccessible in the United States, Europe and elsewhere, especially compared to the strength of evidence-based recommendations for its use. Acupuncture would benefit from robust implementation strategies, utilizing insights and approaches from implementation science. The clinical use of Botox for migraine suffered from weaker evidence of effectiveness and greater evidence of harm, but using a streamlined and robust implementation strategy, Allergan was able to achieve widespread implementation from when it began its efforts around 2010. Such a systematic approach that identifies and overcomes barriers to implementation for acupuncture would benefit millions of people who currently are offered less effective and more invasive treatments, contrary to the recommendations of clinical guidelines.

文摘In recent years,with the support and promotion of relevant policies such as the Opinions on Promoting Study Tour for Primary and Secondary School Students jointly issued by the Ministry of Education and 11 other departments,a wave of study tour has been sparked nationwide from individual pilot projects to gradual promotion.In this paper,students and teachers from grades 4 to 6 of L Primary School in Nanchang City,Jiangxi Province were selected as the survey objects.Combining the survey questionnaire,the current situation of conducting study tour in the primary school was sorted out and analyzed in depth from several aspects such as study tour cognition,study tour participation,study tour implementation,etc.Based on the survey results and relevant research,the current problems in conducting study tours in primary schools were summarized,and targeted improvement measures were proposed,in order to promote the healthy development of study tours in primary schools.
文摘The SubBytes (S-box) transformation is the most crucial operation in the AES algorithm, significantly impacting the implementation performance of AES chips. To design a high-performance S-box, a segmented optimization implementation of the S-box is proposed based on the composite field inverse operation in this paper. This proposed S-box implementation is modeled using Verilog language and synthesized using Design Complier software under the premise of ensuring the correctness of the simulation result. The synthesis results show that, compared to several current S-box implementation schemes, the proposed implementation of the S-box significantly reduces the area overhead and critical path delay, then gets higher hardware efficiency. This provides strong support for realizing efficient and compact S-box ASIC designs.
