<span style="font-family:Verdana;">A simple </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">portable X-Ray Fluorescence (</span><span style="font-family:;" "=&qu...<span style="font-family:Verdana;">A simple </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">portable X-Ray Fluorescence (</span><span style="font-family:;" "=""><span style="font-family:Verdana;">XRF) spectrometer was successfully used for </span><i><span style="font-family:Verdana;">in-situ</span></i><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> and nondestructive identification of the painting materials in two 15</span><sup><span style="font-family:Verdana;">th</span></sup><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> century icons from the Onufri Museum in Beart, Albania. </span></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">The spectrometer is based on a low power X-ray tube, a thermoelectrically cooled Si PIN detector and the spectrum acquisition system. It was assembled and adjusted at our laboratory for the investigation of the icons. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">A small number of pigments were clearly identified by </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">X-Ray Fluorescence (</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">XRF) measurements in both icons. This include</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">s</span><span style="font-family:;" "=""><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Lead white for the white color, gold and yellow ochre for the yellow color, red lead, cinnabar and red ochre for the red color, as well as cooper based pigments for the green color. At the same time, the investigation raised some new questions that need further investigations by </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">the use of additional analytical techniques. Conventional approaches to RE are mainly highlighted in diagrams. This paper introduces icon-based information as a way to represent ideas and concepts in the requirements engineering domain. We report on icon artifacts that support requirements engineering work such as priority types, status states and stakeholder kinds. We evaluate how users interpret meanings of icons and the efficacy of icon prototypes shaped to represent those requirements attributes. Our hypothesis is whether practitioners can recognize the icons’ meaning in terms of their functional representation. According to the empirical data from 45 participants, the findings demonstrate the probability of providing users with icons and their intended functions that correspond to RE artifacts in a novel yet effective manner. Based on these findings, we suggest that icons could enrich stakeholders’ perception of the RE process as a whole;however, meaningful interpretation of an icon is subject to the user’s prior knowledge and experience.展开更多

Covalent organic frameworks(COFs)are crystalline materials composed of covalently bonded organic ligands with chemically permeable structures.Their crystallization is achieved by balancing thermal reversibility with t...Covalent organic frameworks(COFs)are crystalline materials composed of covalently bonded organic ligands with chemically permeable structures.Their crystallization is achieved by balancing thermal reversibility with the dynamic nature of the frameworks.Ionic covalent organic frameworks(ICOFs)are a subclass that incorporates ions in positive,negative,or zwitterionic forms into the frameworks.In particular,spiroborate-derived linkages enhance both the structural diversity and functionality of ICOFs.Unlike electroneutral COFs,ICOFs can be tailored by adjusting the types and arrangements of ions,influencing their formation mechanisms and physical properties.This study focuses on analyzing the graph-based structural characteristics of ICOFs with spiroborate linkages.We compute graph based entropy using hybrid topological descriptors that capture both local and global structural patterns.Furthermore,statistical regression models are developed to predict graph energies of larger-dimensional ICOF structures based on these descriptors.To ensure the robustness and accuracy of our results,we validated our findings using a pseudocode algorithm specifically designed for computing degree-based topological indices.This computational validation confirms the consistency of the derived descriptors and supports their applicability in quantitative structure-property relationship(QSPR)modeling.Overall,this approach provides valuable insights for future applications in material design and property prediction within the framework of ICOFs.展开更多
