This paper addresses the integrated processes of planning and scheduling of projects using technologies advanced tools as means for managing change in the era of the 4IR.The paper explores the traditional project mana...This paper addresses the integrated processes of planning and scheduling of projects using technologies advanced tools as means for managing change in the era of the 4IR.The paper explores the traditional project management planning and scheduling tools in conjunction with what technology has to offer,to bridge the gap between the traditional project management planning and scheduling tools and what the modern-day business market demands.An analysis of literature covering a wide range of theoretic and empirical studies was performed.The theories underlying various planning and scheduling methods were analysed in relation to the design of projects.A descriptive quantitative secondary data was used as a tool to assess the impact of technology on project planning for scheduling.The analysis of the study’s data was conducted using the principles of cross-tabulation.Inferences were drawn on the significant impact of the use of advanced technological tools on project planning for scheduling in current business time.Organisations can make use of the findings of this study to correctly apply the available advanced technological tools for more efficient schedule management planning to enhance the successful delivery of their projects.Further,this research can be used to provide learning opportunities for new and inexperienced planners and schedulers,and as a basis for further research in this field of knowledge.展开更多
In this paper,an analysis for ill conditioning problem in subspace identifcation method is provided.The subspace identifcation technique presents a satisfactory robustness in the parameter estimation of process model ...In this paper,an analysis for ill conditioning problem in subspace identifcation method is provided.The subspace identifcation technique presents a satisfactory robustness in the parameter estimation of process model which performs control.As a frst step,the main geometric and mathematical tools used in subspace identifcation are briefly presented.In the second step,the problem of analyzing ill-conditioning matrices in the subspace identifcation method is considered.To illustrate this situation,a simulation study of an example is introduced to show the ill-conditioning in subspace identifcation.Algorithms numerical subspace state space system identifcation(N4SID)and multivariable output error state space model identifcation(MOESP)are considered to study,the parameters estimation while using the induction motor model,in simulation(Matlab environment).Finally,we show the inadequacy of the oblique projection and validate the efectiveness of the orthogonal projection approach which is needed in ill-conditioning;a real application dealing with induction motor parameters estimation has been experimented.The obtained results proved that the algorithm based on orthogonal projection MOESP,overcomes the situation of ill-conditioning in the Hankel s block,and thereby improving the estimation of parameters.展开更多
In this paper,some basic properties of a new four-dimensional(4 D)continuous autonomous chaotic system,in which each equation contains a cubic cross-product term,are further analyzed.The new system has 9 equilibria di...In this paper,some basic properties of a new four-dimensional(4 D)continuous autonomous chaotic system,in which each equation contains a cubic cross-product term,are further analyzed.The new system has 9 equilibria displaying graceful symmetry with respect to the origin and coordinate planes,and the stability of them are discussed.Then detailed bifurcation analysis is given to demonstrate the evolution processes of the system.Numerical simulations show that the system evolves chaotic motions through period-doubling bifurcation or intermittence chaos while the system parameters vary.We design a new scheme of generalized projective synchronization,so-called unified generalized projective synchronization,whose response signal synchronizes with the linear combination of drive signal.The design has the advantages of containing complete synchronization,anti-synchronization and disorder synchronization over the usual generalized projective synchronization,such that it can provide greater security in secure communication.Based on Lyapunov stability theorem,some sufficient conditions for the new synchronization are inferred.Numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the method by employing the four-wing chaotic system.展开更多
