Background:Sudden sensorineural hearing loss(SSNHL),often associated with tinnitus,significantly impacts individuals'quality of life.Current treatments,such as free drugs via intravenous or intratympanic(IT)admini...Background:Sudden sensorineural hearing loss(SSNHL),often associated with tinnitus,significantly impacts individuals'quality of life.Current treatments,such as free drugs via intravenous or intratympanic(IT)administration of dexamethasone(DEX)and lidocaine,face limitations like low bioavailability and rapid drug clearance.To address these challenges,we developed a local co-delivery system combining DEX microcrystals(DEX MCs)and lidocaine-loaded poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA)non-spherical microparticles(LPNMs)for sustained drug release in the inner ear.Methods:DEX MCs and LPNMs were prepared using the traditional precipitation technique and double emulsion-solvent evaporation,respectively.After characterizing physicochemical properties and drug release kinetics,they were dispersed in sodium hyaluronate solution for IT injection,then in vivo pharmacokinetics and biocompatibility in guinea pigs were studied.Results:DEX MCs exhibited stable dissolution,while LPNMs provided sustained lidocaine release,reducing potential side effects.In vivo studies in guinea pigs demonstrated prolonged drug retention in the perilymph and improved pharmacokinetics.Histological evaluation confirmed the good biocompatibility of this combined delivery system,with no significant inner ear damage observed.Conclusion:This co-delivery system can be used as a depot for delivering both DEX and lidocaine to the inner ear and offers a promising approach for the synergistic treatment of SSNHL associated with tinnitus.展开更多
High-Mg andesite/diorite(HMA)is useful for identifying subduction-related processes in orogenic belts,including the identification of ophiolites formed in suprasubduction zone(SSZ)environments.The E'rentaolegai hi...High-Mg andesite/diorite(HMA)is useful for identifying subduction-related processes in orogenic belts,including the identification of ophiolites formed in suprasubduction zone(SSZ)environments.The E'rentaolegai high-Mg diorite from the Diyanmiao ophiolite in central Inner Mongolia,North China,has been investigated revealing low-K tholeiitic-calc-alkaline characteristics and have SiO_(2)contents of 53.44-54.92 wt%,MgO contents of 8.44-9.54 wt%,and Mg~#of 54.35-57.60,with variable Fe_(2)O_(3)(7.51-8.61 wt%),Al_(2)O_(3)(11.95-15.09 wt%),and Na_(2)O(3.42-3.94 wt%)contents,low K_(2)O(0.34-0.97 wt%),TiO_(2)(0.35-0.67 wt%),and P2O5(0.12-0.15 wt%)contents,and high Ni(43-193 ppm)and Cr(189-556 ppm)contents.Samples collected have low total rare earth element(REE)contents(30.58-77.80 ppm),with flat or slightly right-dipping REE patterns(La_(N)/Yb_(N)=2.19-3.11)and a lack of pronounced Eu anomalies.The samples are also enriched in large-ion lithophile elements(LILEs,e.g.,K,Rb,Ba,U,and Sr)and depleted in high field strength elements(e.g.,Ta,Nb,Ti,and P).The E'rentaolegai high-Mg diorite has characteristics typical of HMA,and are similar to those of sanukites from the Setouchi Arc in SW Japan.They also display high positiveε_(Nd)(t)values(+6.32 to+7.80),comparable to the values of their host rocks.Petrogenetic analyses suggest that the E'rentaolegai HMA was probably formed by the interaction of partial melts and aqueous fluids from subducted sediments with mantle peridotite.Zircon U-Pb dating reveals that the high-Mg diorite crystallized at 313.6±2.4 Ma,i.e.,late Carboniferous.Combining our data with the temporal and spatial distribution of the Diyanmiao SSZ-type ophiolite,we propose that the eastern Paleo-Asian Ocean had not closed by the late Carboniferous,but intra-oceanic subduction was ongoing.A new model of the initiation of subduction in the eastern PAO during the late Paleozoic.展开更多
The naturally fermented Inner Mongolian cheese’s flavor and nutritional value make it a popular choice among customers.In this work,to create multi-functional peptides that have taste and biological activity,peptidom...The naturally fermented Inner Mongolian cheese’s flavor and nutritional value make it a popular choice among customers.In this work,to create multi-functional peptides that have taste and biological activity,peptidomics and bioinformatics were used to screen flavor peptides from Inner Mongolian cheese and further assess their antioxidant and angiotensin I-converting enzyme(ACE)inhibitory properties.According to sensory data,YH8 and IL7 had detectable bitter tastes with low thresholds of 0.03 and 0.06 mmol/L,respectively.With an umami threshold range of 0.24‒0.81 mmol/L,VQ6,FK13,HP13 and QT14 exhibited a range of flavors dominated by umami,including sweet,bitter,salty,sour and kokumi.Antioxidant activity wise,YH8,VQ6,HP13 and QT14 were well represented.The above-mentioned peptides all had some ACE inhibitory effect.The bitter peptide IL7(IC_(50)=0.08 mmol/L)had the highest level of ACE inhibitory activity,followed by YH8(IC_(50)=0.33 mmol/L).These multi-functional peptides,which have been assessed for bioactive and taste features in Inner Mongolian cheese,may have positive impacts on health and harmonize the cheese’s overall flavor.These results suggest that some flavor peptides produced in fermented foods might be with bioactivities while providing a basis for the exploration and application of multi-functional peptides.展开更多
The Inner Asian Mountain Corridor(IAMC)acted as a crossroads of trans-Eurasian exchange since approximately 6000 cal.yr BP.The history of the introduction and utilization of crops and livestock in the area has been in...The Inner Asian Mountain Corridor(IAMC)acted as a crossroads of trans-Eurasian exchange since approximately 6000 cal.yr BP.The history of the introduction and utilization of crops and livestock in the area has been intensively discussed,while geographical-temporal variations of human activities and subsistence strategies remain unclear.Here we report new zooarchaeological data and radiocarbon dates from the Naba Cemeteries,revealing herbivorous livestock were predominant animal resource during both the Bronze and Early Iron Ages,and sheep/goat and horse were paramount sacrificial animals in these two periods,respectively.In tandem with published radiocarbon dates,zooarchaeological and archaeobotanical data from IAMC's prehistoric sites,we detect humans mainly engaged in hunting-gathering games in the IAMC during 8000-5000 cal.yr BP.During 5000-4000 cal.yr BP,the territory of agro-pastoral groups evidently expanded in the IAMC with a hotspot in the Altai Region,and wheat and barley were introduced into the area.In the following two millennia,herding became an economic mainstay,and cultivations of crops were ubiquitous in the IAMC's oases.We argue that prehistoric human activities in the IAMC were mainly affected by agro-pastoral expansions associated with exchanges across the Eurasia,which was likely promoted by climate change.展开更多
The exsolution method has garnered significant attention owing to its high efficacy in developing highly efficient and stable metal nanocatalysts.Herein,a versatile exsolution approach is developed to embed size-tunab...The exsolution method has garnered significant attention owing to its high efficacy in developing highly efficient and stable metal nanocatalysts.Herein,a versatile exsolution approach is developed to embed size-tunable metal nanocatalysts within a conductive metal pnictogenide matrix.The gas-phase reaction of Ru-substituted Ni-Fe-layered-double-hydroxide(Ni_(2)Fe_(1-x)Ru_(x)-LDH)with pnictogenation reagents leads to the exsolution of Ru metal nanocatalysts and a phase transformation into metal pnictogenide.The variation in reactivity of pnictogenation reagents allows for control over the size of the exsolved metal nanocatalysts(i.e.,nanoclusters for nitridation and single atoms for phosphidation),underscoring the effectiveness of the pnictogenation-driven exsolution strategy in stabilizing size-tunable metal nanocatalysts.The Ru-exsolved nickel-iron nitride/phosphide demonstrates outstanding electrocatalyst activity for the hydrogen evolution reaction,exhibiting a smaller overpotential and higher stability than Ru-deposited homologs.The high efficacy of pnictogenation-assisted exsolution in optimizing the performance and stability of Ru metal nanocatalysts is ascribed to the efficient interfacial electronic interaction between Ru metals and nitride/phosphide ions assisted by the inner sphere mechanism.In situ spectroscopic analyses highlight that exsolved Ru single atoms facilitate more efficient electron transfer to the reactants than the exsolved Ru nanoclusters,which is primarily responsible for the superior impact of the phosphidation-driven exsolution approach.展开更多
Objective:The aims of this study were to investigate the clinical applicability of 3D segmentation in measuring cochlear anatomical parameters,explore factors that influence the insertion angle of cochlear implant ele...Objective:The aims of this study were to investigate the clinical applicability of 3D segmentation in measuring cochlear anatomical parameters,explore factors that influence the insertion angle of cochlear implant electrodes in patients with inner ear malformations,and determine the value of 3D segmentation in predicting cochlear implant electrode insertion depth by simulating electrode implantation in a reconstructed 3D model.Methods:Data from 208 temporal bone CT scans of patients with a variety of inner ear malformations(including the CH,IP-Ⅰ,IP-Ⅱ,and IP-Ⅲtypes)who underwent cochlear implantation at our center were retrospectively analyzed.Preoperative temporal bone CT data were subjected to three-dimensional(3D)segmentation of the cochlea with a 3D slicer.Results:Cochlear malformation types,including IP typesⅠ(42 ears),Ⅱ(278ears),Ⅲ(20 ears),and CH(65 ears),were diagnosed and measured in 208 preoperative CT datasets.Cochlear anatomical parameters and electrode length were correlated,which partially explained the variations in electrode insertion angle.The mean angle of implantation among the enrolled patients was 564.33°,and the mean implantation angle prediction error in the 3D segmentation was|23.74|°.Conclusion:Three-dimensional segmentation from temporal bone CT is valuable for surgeons,especially in treating patients with inner ear malformation.Such insights will help surgeons understand overall anatomical variations,predict electrode implantation depth,and complete preoperative imaging assessments for cochlear implant insertion depth in patients with inner ear malformations.展开更多

ObjectiveTo develop a sustained-release codelivery system for intratympanic administration of dexamethasone(DEX)and lipoic acid(LA).MethodsDEX microcrystals(MCs)were prepared via precipitation,while LA-loaded porous P...ObjectiveTo develop a sustained-release codelivery system for intratympanic administration of dexamethasone(DEX)and lipoic acid(LA).MethodsDEX microcrystals(MCs)were prepared via precipitation,while LA-loaded porous PLGA microspheres(LPMPs)were fabricated using a double emulsion–solvent evaporation method.DEX MCs were physically perfused into LPMPs via negative pressure to form a combined system(DEX MCs+LPMPs).Physicochemical properties,in vitro drug release,pharmacokinetics,and biocompatibility were evaluated.Guinea pigs were used for intratympanic injections of DEX MCs,LPMPs,or DEX MCs+LPMPs.ResultsThe DEX MCs+LPMPs system enabled simultaneous release of both drugs,with DEX exhibiting superior pharmacokinetics(sustained perilymph concentrations up to 7 days)compared to DEX MCs alone.LA release from LPMPs demonstrated prolonged kinetics without burst release.SEM confirmed DEX MCs were localized within/on LPMPs and adhered to the round window membrane(RWM).Histological analysis revealed normal cochlear morphology and no inflammatory response,confirming biocompatibility.ConclusionsThis novel codelivery system combining microcrystals and porous microspheres achieves sustained dual-drug release,enhances therapeutic efficacy,and offers a promising strategy for managing hearing loss via intratympanic administration.展开更多
The characteristics of summertime raindrop size distribution(DSD) and associated relations in the semi-arid region over the Inner Mongolian Plateau(IMP) were investigated,utilizing five-year continuous observations by...The characteristics of summertime raindrop size distribution(DSD) and associated relations in the semi-arid region over the Inner Mongolian Plateau(IMP) were investigated,utilizing five-year continuous observations by a PARSIVEL2disdrometer in East Ujimqin County(EUC),China.It is found that only 7.94% of the 15 664 one-min precipitation samples meet classification criteria as convective rain(CR),but its contribution to the total rainfall amount is 63.87%.Notably,40.72% of the rainfall comes from large-sized raindrops(D> 3 mm),despite the fact that large-sized raindrops account for only 1.73% of the CR total number concentration.Further results show that the mean value of mass-weighted mean diameters(Dm) is larger(2.43 mm) and generalized intercepts(lgN_(W)) is lower(3.19) in CR,aligning with a "continentallike" cluster,which is mainly influenced by the joint impact of in-cloud ice-based processes and the below-cloud environmental background.Also,the empirical relationships of shape-slope(μ-Λ),radar reflectivity-rain rate(Z-R),and rainfall kinetic energy(KE_(time)-Rand KE_(time)-Z) are localized.To quantitatively analyze the impact of DSD parameters on kinetic energy estimation,power-law KE_(time)-R and KE_(time)-Z relationships are derived based on the normalized gamma distribution.N_(W)takes precedence over μ in affecting variabilities of multiplicative coefficients,especially for KE_(time)-R relationship where the multiplicative coefficient is proportional to N_(W)^(-0.287).It should be noted that although the proportion of CR occurring throughout the summer is small,raindrops with lower N_(W) and larger Dmwill generate higher KE_(time),which will bring a higher potential risk of soil erosion in semi-arid regions over IMP.展开更多

In this paper, a distinctive inner wall treatment strategy, denoted as the Azimuthally-distributed Wavy Inner Wall (AWIW), is proposed, which is aimed at mitigating jet noise. Within this strategy, a circumferentially dispersed treatment wall characterized by a minute wavy pattern is substituted for the smooth inner wall in proximity to the nozzle outlet. To assess the effectiveness of the AWIW treatment, we conducted numerical simulations. The unsteady flow field and far-field noise were predicted by employing Large Eddy Simulations (LES) coupled with the Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings (FW-H) integration method. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the mechanism underlying the noise reduction facilitated by the AWIW treatment, it examined physical parameters such as the Lighthill source acoustic source term, the turbulent kinetic energy acoustic source term, and the shear layer instability. The results reveal that the AWIW treatment expedites the instability within the shear layer of the jet, leading to an early disruption of the jet shear layer, and consequently turbulent structures in varying sizes are generated downstream. This process effectively regulates the generation and emission of jet noise. By controlling the minor scale turbulence through the AWIW treatment, the mid- and high-frequency noise within the distant field can be significantly reduced. In the context of the flow field, the introduction of AWIW also leads to a decrease in drag on the inner wall surface of the jet, thereby improving the overall aerodynamic performance of the nozzle. Considering these attributes, the AWIW strategy emerges as a viable technique for the reduction of jet noise.展开更多

Objective:Compared with long-term renal replacement therapy,kidney transplantation is the ideal treatment for end-stage renal disease(ESRD),significantly extending patient life and improving quality of life.Kidney tra...Objective:Compared with long-term renal replacement therapy,kidney transplantation is the ideal treatment for end-stage renal disease(ESRD),significantly extending patient life and improving quality of life.Kidney transplant patients need to adhere to lifelong immunosuppressive medication regimens,but their medication adherence is generally poor compared with other organ transplant recipients.Medication adherence is closely related to medication literacy and psychological status,yet related studies are limited.This study aims to investigate the current status of medication adherence,inner strength,and medication literacy in kidney transplant patients,analyze the relationships among these 3 factors,and explore the mediating role of inner strength in the relationship between medication literacy and medication adherence.Methods:A cross-sectional survey was conducted from March to October 2023 involving 421 patients aged≥18 years who visited kidney transplantation outpatient clinics at 4 tertiary hospitals in Hunan Province.The inner strength,medication literacy,and medication adherence of kidney transplant patients were investigated using the Inner Strength Scale(ISS),the Chinese version of the Medication Literacy Assessment in Spanish and English(MedLitRxSE),and the Chinese version of the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale-8(C-MMAS-8),respectively.Univariate analysis was performed to examine the effects of demographic and clinical data on medication adherence.Correlation analysis was conducted to explore the relationships among medication literacy,medication adherence,and inner strength.Significant variables from univariate and correlation analyses were further analyzed using multiple linear regression,and the mediating effect of inner strength was explored.Results:Among the 421 questionnaires collected,408 were valid,with an effective rate of 96.91%.The scores of C-MMAS-8,MedLitRxSE,and ISS were 6.64±1.16,100.63±14.67,and 8.47±4.03,respectively.Among the 408 patients,only 86(21.08%)patients had a high level of medication adherence,whereas 230(56.37%)patients had a medium level of medication adherence,and 92(22.55%)patients had poor medication adherence.Univariate analysis indicated that the kidney transplant patients’age,marital status,education levels,years since their kidney transplant operation,number of hospitalizations after the kidney transplant,and adverse drug reactions showed significant differences in medication adherence(all P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that inner strength positively correlated with both medication literacy(r=0.183,P<0.001)and medication adherence(r=0.201,P<0.001).Additionally,there was a positive correlation between medication adherence and medication literacy(r=0.236,P<0.001).Inner strength accounted for 13.22%of the total effect in the mediating role between medication literacy and medication adherence.Conclusion:The level of medication adherence among kidney transplant patients needs improvement,and targeted intervention measures are essential.Inner strength mediates the relationship between medication literacy and medication adherence in these patients.Healthcare professionals should focus on enhancing medication literacy and supporting patients’inner strength to improve medication adherence.展开更多
Wind power has been developing rapidly as a key measure to mitigate human-driven global warming.The under-standing of the development and impacts of wind farms on local climate and vegetation is of great importance fo...Wind power has been developing rapidly as a key measure to mitigate human-driven global warming.The under-standing of the development and impacts of wind farms on local climate and vegetation is of great importance for their rational use but is still limited.In this study,we combined remote sensing and on-site investigations to identify wind farm locations in Inner Mongolia and performed landscape pattern analyses using Fragstats.We explored the impacts of wind farms on land surface temperature(LST)and vegetation net primary productivity(NPP)between 1990 and 2020 by contrasting these metrics in wind farms with those in non-wind farm areas.The results showed that the area of wind farms increased rapidly from 1.2 km2 in 1990 to 10,755 km2 in 2020.Spatially,wind farms are mainly clustered in three aggregation areas in the center.Further,wind farms increased nighttime LST,with a mean value of 0.23℃,but had minor impacts on the daytime LST.Moreover,wind farms caused a decline in NPP,especially over forest areas,with an average reduction of 12.37 GC/m^(2).Given the impact of wind farms on LST and NPP,we suggest that the development of wind farms should fully consider their direct and potential impacts.This study provides scientific guidance on the spatial pattern of future wind farms.展开更多
Aqueous zinc-ion batteries are regarded as the promising candidates for large-scale energy storage systems owing to low cost and high safety;however,their applications are restricted by their poor low-temperature perf...Aqueous zinc-ion batteries are regarded as the promising candidates for large-scale energy storage systems owing to low cost and high safety;however,their applications are restricted by their poor low-temperature performance.Herein,a low-temperature electrolyte for low-temperature aqueous zinc-ion batteries is designed by introducing low-polarity diglyme into an aqueous solution of Zn(ClO_(4))_(2).The diglyme disrupts the hydrogenbonding network of water and lowers the freezing point of the electrolyte to-105℃.The designed electrolyte achieves ionic conductivity up to16.18 mS cm^(-1)at-45℃.The diglyme and ClO_(4)^(-)reconfigure the solvated structure of Zn^(2+),which is more favorable for the desolvation of Zn^(2+)at low temperatures.In addition,the diglyme effectively suppresses the dendrites,hydrogen evolution reaction,and by-products of the zinc anode,improving the cycle stability of the battery.At-20℃,a Zn‖Zn symmetrical cell is cycled for 5200 h at 1 mA cm^(-2)and 1 mA h cm^(-2),and a Zn‖polyaniline battery achieves an ultra-long cycle life of 10000 times.This study sheds light on the future design of electrolytes with high ionic conductivity and easy desolvation at low temperatures for rechargeable batteries.展开更多
Objective:To evaluate the plasma levels of the otoconial proteins,otoconin-90 and otolin-1,in individuals diagnosed with vestibular neuritis(VN)and determine the feasibility of using these proteins as biomarkers for V...Objective:To evaluate the plasma levels of the otoconial proteins,otoconin-90 and otolin-1,in individuals diagnosed with vestibular neuritis(VN)and determine the feasibility of using these proteins as biomarkers for VN.Methods:In this preliminary study,30 patients diagnosed with VN and 70 healthy individuals were recruited and followed to confirm whether they had benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(BPPV)during the following time.The recorded data included measurements of height,weight,and history of diabetes mellitus or hypertension.Additionally,levels of plasma otoconin-90,and otolin-1 were measured and compared.Results:The plasma concentrations of otoconin-90 and otolin-1 may not be significantly different between patients with VN and healthy controls,nor among patients with BPPV secondary to VN and patients with VN without BPPV.Conclusions:Plasma otoconin-90 and otolin-1 levels may not serve as biomarkers of acute VN episodes or predict BPPV occurrence secondary to VN.展开更多
Electrochemical trepanning(ECTr)is an effective electrochemical machining(ECM)technique that can be used to manufacture the integral components of aero-engine compressors.This study focused on the dynamic evolution of...Electrochemical trepanning(ECTr)is an effective electrochemical machining(ECM)technique that can be used to manufacture the integral components of aero-engine compressors.This study focused on the dynamic evolution of ECTr for production of inner blisks(bladed disks)with a special chamfer structure at blade tip.Due to the existence of chamfer,the ECTr process of inner blades is in a non-equilibrium state during the early stages,and the physical field changes in the machining gap are complex,making it difficult to predict the forming process.In this paper,a dynamic evolution model(DEM)of inner blade ECTr with a special chamfer at blade tip structure is proposed,and an ECTr multi-physical fields simulation study was carried out.The evolution of the chamfer at blade tip was analyzed and data related to chamfer were predicted based on the dependence of anode boundary properties with machining time and feed rate.In addition,the dis-tributions of current density,electrolyte flow rate,bubble volume fraction,temperature rise,and electrolyte conductivity in the machining area at different times were obtained by combining them with the multi-physical fields simulation results.Subsequently,a series of ECTr experiments were conducted,in which,as the feed rate increased,the surface quality and machining accuracy of the inner blades were improved.Compared with the simulation results,the error in machining accu-racy of the chamfer profile is controlled within±2%,and the machining accuracy of the blade full profile was controlled within±0.2 mm,indicating that the model proposed in this study was effec-tive in predicting the evolution of inner blades ECTr with chamfer structures at blade tip.展开更多
The Inner Product Masking(IPM)scheme has been shown to provide higher theoretical security guarantees than the BooleanMasking(BM).This scheme aims to increase the algebraic complexity of the coding to achieve a higher...The Inner Product Masking(IPM)scheme has been shown to provide higher theoretical security guarantees than the BooleanMasking(BM).This scheme aims to increase the algebraic complexity of the coding to achieve a higher level of security.Some previous work unfolds when certain(adversarial and implementation)conditions are met,and we seek to complement these investigations by understanding what happens when these conditions deviate from their expected behaviour.In this paper,we investigate the security characteristics of IPM under different conditions.In adversarial condition,the security properties of first-order IPMs obtained through parametric characterization are preserved in the face of univariate and bivariate attacks.In implementation condition,we construct two new polynomial leakage functions to observe the nonlinear leakage of the IPM and connect the security order amplification to the nonlinear function.We observe that the security of IPMis affected by the degree and the linear component in the leakage function.In addition,the comparison experiments from the coefficients,signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and the public parameter show that the security properties of the IPM are highly implementation-dependent.展开更多

文摘This study constructs a function-private inner-product predicate encryption(FP-IPPE)and achieves standard enhanced function privacy.The enhanced function privacy guarantees that a predicate secret key skf reveals nothing about the predicate f,as long as f is drawn from an evasive distribution with sufficient entropy.The proposed scheme extends the group-based public-key function-private predicate encryption(FP-PE)for“small superset predicates”proposed by Bartusek et al.(Asiacrypt 19),to the setting of inner-product predicates.This is the first construction of public-key FP-PE with enhanced function privacy security beyond the equality predicates,which is previously proposed by Boneh et al.(CRYPTO 13).The proposed construction relies on bilinear groups,and the security is proved in the generic bilinear group model.

文摘Background:Sudden sensorineural hearing loss(SSNHL),often associated with tinnitus,significantly impacts individuals'quality of life.Current treatments,such as free drugs via intravenous or intratympanic(IT)administration of dexamethasone(DEX)and lidocaine,face limitations like low bioavailability and rapid drug clearance.To address these challenges,we developed a local co-delivery system combining DEX microcrystals(DEX MCs)and lidocaine-loaded poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA)non-spherical microparticles(LPNMs)for sustained drug release in the inner ear.Methods:DEX MCs and LPNMs were prepared using the traditional precipitation technique and double emulsion-solvent evaporation,respectively.After characterizing physicochemical properties and drug release kinetics,they were dispersed in sodium hyaluronate solution for IT injection,then in vivo pharmacokinetics and biocompatibility in guinea pigs were studied.Results:DEX MCs exhibited stable dissolution,while LPNMs provided sustained lidocaine release,reducing potential side effects.In vivo studies in guinea pigs demonstrated prolonged drug retention in the perilymph and improved pharmacokinetics.Histological evaluation confirmed the good biocompatibility of this combined delivery system,with no significant inner ear damage observed.Conclusion:This co-delivery system can be used as a depot for delivering both DEX and lidocaine to the inner ear and offers a promising approach for the synergistic treatment of SSNHL associated with tinnitus.

文摘High-Mg andesite/diorite(HMA)is useful for identifying subduction-related processes in orogenic belts,including the identification of ophiolites formed in suprasubduction zone(SSZ)environments.The E'rentaolegai high-Mg diorite from the Diyanmiao ophiolite in central Inner Mongolia,North China,has been investigated revealing low-K tholeiitic-calc-alkaline characteristics and have SiO_(2)contents of 53.44-54.92 wt%,MgO contents of 8.44-9.54 wt%,and Mg~#of 54.35-57.60,with variable Fe_(2)O_(3)(7.51-8.61 wt%),Al_(2)O_(3)(11.95-15.09 wt%),and Na_(2)O(3.42-3.94 wt%)contents,low K_(2)O(0.34-0.97 wt%),TiO_(2)(0.35-0.67 wt%),and P2O5(0.12-0.15 wt%)contents,and high Ni(43-193 ppm)and Cr(189-556 ppm)contents.Samples collected have low total rare earth element(REE)contents(30.58-77.80 ppm),with flat or slightly right-dipping REE patterns(La_(N)/Yb_(N)=2.19-3.11)and a lack of pronounced Eu anomalies.The samples are also enriched in large-ion lithophile elements(LILEs,e.g.,K,Rb,Ba,U,and Sr)and depleted in high field strength elements(e.g.,Ta,Nb,Ti,and P).The E'rentaolegai high-Mg diorite has characteristics typical of HMA,and are similar to those of sanukites from the Setouchi Arc in SW Japan.They also display high positiveε_(Nd)(t)values(+6.32 to+7.80),comparable to the values of their host rocks.Petrogenetic analyses suggest that the E'rentaolegai HMA was probably formed by the interaction of partial melts and aqueous fluids from subducted sediments with mantle peridotite.Zircon U-Pb dating reveals that the high-Mg diorite crystallized at 313.6±2.4 Ma,i.e.,late Carboniferous.Combining our data with the temporal and spatial distribution of the Diyanmiao SSZ-type ophiolite,we propose that the eastern Paleo-Asian Ocean had not closed by the late Carboniferous,but intra-oceanic subduction was ongoing.A new model of the initiation of subduction in the eastern PAO during the late Paleozoic.

文摘The naturally fermented Inner Mongolian cheese’s flavor and nutritional value make it a popular choice among customers.In this work,to create multi-functional peptides that have taste and biological activity,peptidomics and bioinformatics were used to screen flavor peptides from Inner Mongolian cheese and further assess their antioxidant and angiotensin I-converting enzyme(ACE)inhibitory properties.According to sensory data,YH8 and IL7 had detectable bitter tastes with low thresholds of 0.03 and 0.06 mmol/L,respectively.With an umami threshold range of 0.24‒0.81 mmol/L,VQ6,FK13,HP13 and QT14 exhibited a range of flavors dominated by umami,including sweet,bitter,salty,sour and kokumi.Antioxidant activity wise,YH8,VQ6,HP13 and QT14 were well represented.The above-mentioned peptides all had some ACE inhibitory effect.The bitter peptide IL7(IC_(50)=0.08 mmol/L)had the highest level of ACE inhibitory activity,followed by YH8(IC_(50)=0.33 mmol/L).These multi-functional peptides,which have been assessed for bioactive and taste features in Inner Mongolian cheese,may have positive impacts on health and harmonize the cheese’s overall flavor.These results suggest that some flavor peptides produced in fermented foods might be with bioactivities while providing a basis for the exploration and application of multi-functional peptides.

文摘The Inner Asian Mountain Corridor(IAMC)acted as a crossroads of trans-Eurasian exchange since approximately 6000 cal.yr BP.The history of the introduction and utilization of crops and livestock in the area has been intensively discussed,while geographical-temporal variations of human activities and subsistence strategies remain unclear.Here we report new zooarchaeological data and radiocarbon dates from the Naba Cemeteries,revealing herbivorous livestock were predominant animal resource during both the Bronze and Early Iron Ages,and sheep/goat and horse were paramount sacrificial animals in these two periods,respectively.In tandem with published radiocarbon dates,zooarchaeological and archaeobotanical data from IAMC's prehistoric sites,we detect humans mainly engaged in hunting-gathering games in the IAMC during 8000-5000 cal.yr BP.During 5000-4000 cal.yr BP,the territory of agro-pastoral groups evidently expanded in the IAMC with a hotspot in the Altai Region,and wheat and barley were introduced into the area.In the following two millennia,herding became an economic mainstay,and cultivations of crops were ubiquitous in the IAMC's oases.We argue that prehistoric human activities in the IAMC were mainly affected by agro-pastoral expansions associated with exchanges across the Eurasia,which was likely promoted by climate change.

文摘The exsolution method has garnered significant attention owing to its high efficacy in developing highly efficient and stable metal nanocatalysts.Herein,a versatile exsolution approach is developed to embed size-tunable metal nanocatalysts within a conductive metal pnictogenide matrix.The gas-phase reaction of Ru-substituted Ni-Fe-layered-double-hydroxide(Ni_(2)Fe_(1-x)Ru_(x)-LDH)with pnictogenation reagents leads to the exsolution of Ru metal nanocatalysts and a phase transformation into metal pnictogenide.The variation in reactivity of pnictogenation reagents allows for control over the size of the exsolved metal nanocatalysts(i.e.,nanoclusters for nitridation and single atoms for phosphidation),underscoring the effectiveness of the pnictogenation-driven exsolution strategy in stabilizing size-tunable metal nanocatalysts.The Ru-exsolved nickel-iron nitride/phosphide demonstrates outstanding electrocatalyst activity for the hydrogen evolution reaction,exhibiting a smaller overpotential and higher stability than Ru-deposited homologs.The high efficacy of pnictogenation-assisted exsolution in optimizing the performance and stability of Ru metal nanocatalysts is ascribed to the efficient interfacial electronic interaction between Ru metals and nitride/phosphide ions assisted by the inner sphere mechanism.In situ spectroscopic analyses highlight that exsolved Ru single atoms facilitate more efficient electron transfer to the reactants than the exsolved Ru nanoclusters,which is primarily responsible for the superior impact of the phosphidation-driven exsolution approach.

文摘Objective:The aims of this study were to investigate the clinical applicability of 3D segmentation in measuring cochlear anatomical parameters,explore factors that influence the insertion angle of cochlear implant electrodes in patients with inner ear malformations,and determine the value of 3D segmentation in predicting cochlear implant electrode insertion depth by simulating electrode implantation in a reconstructed 3D model.Methods:Data from 208 temporal bone CT scans of patients with a variety of inner ear malformations(including the CH,IP-Ⅰ,IP-Ⅱ,and IP-Ⅲtypes)who underwent cochlear implantation at our center were retrospectively analyzed.Preoperative temporal bone CT data were subjected to three-dimensional(3D)segmentation of the cochlea with a 3D slicer.Results:Cochlear malformation types,including IP typesⅠ(42 ears),Ⅱ(278ears),Ⅲ(20 ears),and CH(65 ears),were diagnosed and measured in 208 preoperative CT datasets.Cochlear anatomical parameters and electrode length were correlated,which partially explained the variations in electrode insertion angle.The mean angle of implantation among the enrolled patients was 564.33°,and the mean implantation angle prediction error in the 3D segmentation was|23.74|°.Conclusion:Three-dimensional segmentation from temporal bone CT is valuable for surgeons,especially in treating patients with inner ear malformation.Such insights will help surgeons understand overall anatomical variations,predict electrode implantation depth,and complete preoperative imaging assessments for cochlear implant insertion depth in patients with inner ear malformations.
文摘This paper examines the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West through the lens of rational choice theory,with a particular focus on the logic of cultivation and behavioral decision-making.By incorporating the notion of“inner cultivation”(xin xing xiulian)into the analytical framework,we introduce the concept of the“cultivating economic agent,”aiming to explore how rationality is generated,evolved,and transcended throughout the spiritual journey.The study argues that,in the context of Eastern culture,rationality is not merely an innate or static faculty but one that can be cultivated and transformed.Through textual analysis of the behavioral trajectories of Sun Wukong,Zhu Bajie,and Tang Sanzang,we uncover a structured behavioral logic of“goal orientation–institutional discipline–purification of the mind.”The findings suggest that although cultivation behaviors are not utilitarian decisions per se,they exhibit rational characteristics such as goal stability,autonomous will,and embedded incentives.

文摘ObjectiveTo develop a sustained-release codelivery system for intratympanic administration of dexamethasone(DEX)and lipoic acid(LA).MethodsDEX microcrystals(MCs)were prepared via precipitation,while LA-loaded porous PLGA microspheres(LPMPs)were fabricated using a double emulsion–solvent evaporation method.DEX MCs were physically perfused into LPMPs via negative pressure to form a combined system(DEX MCs+LPMPs).Physicochemical properties,in vitro drug release,pharmacokinetics,and biocompatibility were evaluated.Guinea pigs were used for intratympanic injections of DEX MCs,LPMPs,or DEX MCs+LPMPs.ResultsThe DEX MCs+LPMPs system enabled simultaneous release of both drugs,with DEX exhibiting superior pharmacokinetics(sustained perilymph concentrations up to 7 days)compared to DEX MCs alone.LA release from LPMPs demonstrated prolonged kinetics without burst release.SEM confirmed DEX MCs were localized within/on LPMPs and adhered to the round window membrane(RWM).Histological analysis revealed normal cochlear morphology and no inflammatory response,confirming biocompatibility.ConclusionsThis novel codelivery system combining microcrystals and porous microspheres achieves sustained dual-drug release,enhances therapeutic efficacy,and offers a promising strategy for managing hearing loss via intratympanic administration.

文摘The characteristics of summertime raindrop size distribution(DSD) and associated relations in the semi-arid region over the Inner Mongolian Plateau(IMP) were investigated,utilizing five-year continuous observations by a PARSIVEL2disdrometer in East Ujimqin County(EUC),China.It is found that only 7.94% of the 15 664 one-min precipitation samples meet classification criteria as convective rain(CR),but its contribution to the total rainfall amount is 63.87%.Notably,40.72% of the rainfall comes from large-sized raindrops(D> 3 mm),despite the fact that large-sized raindrops account for only 1.73% of the CR total number concentration.Further results show that the mean value of mass-weighted mean diameters(Dm) is larger(2.43 mm) and generalized intercepts(lgN_(W)) is lower(3.19) in CR,aligning with a "continentallike" cluster,which is mainly influenced by the joint impact of in-cloud ice-based processes and the below-cloud environmental background.Also,the empirical relationships of shape-slope(μ-Λ),radar reflectivity-rain rate(Z-R),and rainfall kinetic energy(KE_(time)-Rand KE_(time)-Z) are localized.To quantitatively analyze the impact of DSD parameters on kinetic energy estimation,power-law KE_(time)-R and KE_(time)-Z relationships are derived based on the normalized gamma distribution.N_(W)takes precedence over μ in affecting variabilities of multiplicative coefficients,especially for KE_(time)-R relationship where the multiplicative coefficient is proportional to N_(W)^(-0.287).It should be noted that although the proportion of CR occurring throughout the summer is small,raindrops with lower N_(W) and larger Dmwill generate higher KE_(time),which will bring a higher potential risk of soil erosion in semi-arid regions over IMP.

文摘The noise generated by subsonic jet nozzles, commonly encountered in civilian aircraft, is rather significant and propagates in both the upstream and downstream directions due to large-scale and fine-scale turbulence structures. In this paper, a distinctive inner wall treatment strategy, denoted as the Azimuthally-distributed Wavy Inner Wall (AWIW), is proposed, which is aimed at mitigating jet noise. Within this strategy, a circumferentially dispersed treatment wall characterized by a minute wavy pattern is substituted for the smooth inner wall in proximity to the nozzle outlet. To assess the effectiveness of the AWIW treatment, we conducted numerical simulations. The unsteady flow field and far-field noise were predicted by employing Large Eddy Simulations (LES) coupled with the Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings (FW-H) integration method. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the mechanism underlying the noise reduction facilitated by the AWIW treatment, it examined physical parameters such as the Lighthill source acoustic source term, the turbulent kinetic energy acoustic source term, and the shear layer instability. The results reveal that the AWIW treatment expedites the instability within the shear layer of the jet, leading to an early disruption of the jet shear layer, and consequently turbulent structures in varying sizes are generated downstream. This process effectively regulates the generation and emission of jet noise. By controlling the minor scale turbulence through the AWIW treatment, the mid- and high-frequency noise within the distant field can be significantly reduced. In the context of the flow field, the introduction of AWIW also leads to a decrease in drag on the inner wall surface of the jet, thereby improving the overall aerodynamic performance of the nozzle. Considering these attributes, the AWIW strategy emerges as a viable technique for the reduction of jet noise.

文摘Objective:Compared with long-term renal replacement therapy,kidney transplantation is the ideal treatment for end-stage renal disease(ESRD),significantly extending patient life and improving quality of life.Kidney transplant patients need to adhere to lifelong immunosuppressive medication regimens,but their medication adherence is generally poor compared with other organ transplant recipients.Medication adherence is closely related to medication literacy and psychological status,yet related studies are limited.This study aims to investigate the current status of medication adherence,inner strength,and medication literacy in kidney transplant patients,analyze the relationships among these 3 factors,and explore the mediating role of inner strength in the relationship between medication literacy and medication adherence.Methods:A cross-sectional survey was conducted from March to October 2023 involving 421 patients aged≥18 years who visited kidney transplantation outpatient clinics at 4 tertiary hospitals in Hunan Province.The inner strength,medication literacy,and medication adherence of kidney transplant patients were investigated using the Inner Strength Scale(ISS),the Chinese version of the Medication Literacy Assessment in Spanish and English(MedLitRxSE),and the Chinese version of the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale-8(C-MMAS-8),respectively.Univariate analysis was performed to examine the effects of demographic and clinical data on medication adherence.Correlation analysis was conducted to explore the relationships among medication literacy,medication adherence,and inner strength.Significant variables from univariate and correlation analyses were further analyzed using multiple linear regression,and the mediating effect of inner strength was explored.Results:Among the 421 questionnaires collected,408 were valid,with an effective rate of 96.91%.The scores of C-MMAS-8,MedLitRxSE,and ISS were 6.64±1.16,100.63±14.67,and 8.47±4.03,respectively.Among the 408 patients,only 86(21.08%)patients had a high level of medication adherence,whereas 230(56.37%)patients had a medium level of medication adherence,and 92(22.55%)patients had poor medication adherence.Univariate analysis indicated that the kidney transplant patients’age,marital status,education levels,years since their kidney transplant operation,number of hospitalizations after the kidney transplant,and adverse drug reactions showed significant differences in medication adherence(all P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that inner strength positively correlated with both medication literacy(r=0.183,P<0.001)and medication adherence(r=0.201,P<0.001).Additionally,there was a positive correlation between medication adherence and medication literacy(r=0.236,P<0.001).Inner strength accounted for 13.22%of the total effect in the mediating role between medication literacy and medication adherence.Conclusion:The level of medication adherence among kidney transplant patients needs improvement,and targeted intervention measures are essential.Inner strength mediates the relationship between medication literacy and medication adherence in these patients.Healthcare professionals should focus on enhancing medication literacy and supporting patients’inner strength to improve medication adherence.

文摘Wind power has been developing rapidly as a key measure to mitigate human-driven global warming.The under-standing of the development and impacts of wind farms on local climate and vegetation is of great importance for their rational use but is still limited.In this study,we combined remote sensing and on-site investigations to identify wind farm locations in Inner Mongolia and performed landscape pattern analyses using Fragstats.We explored the impacts of wind farms on land surface temperature(LST)and vegetation net primary productivity(NPP)between 1990 and 2020 by contrasting these metrics in wind farms with those in non-wind farm areas.The results showed that the area of wind farms increased rapidly from 1.2 km2 in 1990 to 10,755 km2 in 2020.Spatially,wind farms are mainly clustered in three aggregation areas in the center.Further,wind farms increased nighttime LST,with a mean value of 0.23℃,but had minor impacts on the daytime LST.Moreover,wind farms caused a decline in NPP,especially over forest areas,with an average reduction of 12.37 GC/m^(2).Given the impact of wind farms on LST and NPP,we suggest that the development of wind farms should fully consider their direct and potential impacts.This study provides scientific guidance on the spatial pattern of future wind farms.
文摘Aqueous zinc-ion batteries are regarded as the promising candidates for large-scale energy storage systems owing to low cost and high safety;however,their applications are restricted by their poor low-temperature performance.Herein,a low-temperature electrolyte for low-temperature aqueous zinc-ion batteries is designed by introducing low-polarity diglyme into an aqueous solution of Zn(ClO_(4))_(2).The diglyme disrupts the hydrogenbonding network of water and lowers the freezing point of the electrolyte to-105℃.The designed electrolyte achieves ionic conductivity up to16.18 mS cm^(-1)at-45℃.The diglyme and ClO_(4)^(-)reconfigure the solvated structure of Zn^(2+),which is more favorable for the desolvation of Zn^(2+)at low temperatures.In addition,the diglyme effectively suppresses the dendrites,hydrogen evolution reaction,and by-products of the zinc anode,improving the cycle stability of the battery.At-20℃,a Zn‖Zn symmetrical cell is cycled for 5200 h at 1 mA cm^(-2)and 1 mA h cm^(-2),and a Zn‖polyaniline battery achieves an ultra-long cycle life of 10000 times.This study sheds light on the future design of electrolytes with high ionic conductivity and easy desolvation at low temperatures for rechargeable batteries.

文摘Objective:To evaluate the plasma levels of the otoconial proteins,otoconin-90 and otolin-1,in individuals diagnosed with vestibular neuritis(VN)and determine the feasibility of using these proteins as biomarkers for VN.Methods:In this preliminary study,30 patients diagnosed with VN and 70 healthy individuals were recruited and followed to confirm whether they had benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(BPPV)during the following time.The recorded data included measurements of height,weight,and history of diabetes mellitus or hypertension.Additionally,levels of plasma otoconin-90,and otolin-1 were measured and compared.Results:The plasma concentrations of otoconin-90 and otolin-1 may not be significantly different between patients with VN and healthy controls,nor among patients with BPPV secondary to VN and patients with VN without BPPV.Conclusions:Plasma otoconin-90 and otolin-1 levels may not serve as biomarkers of acute VN episodes or predict BPPV occurrence secondary to VN.

文摘Electrochemical trepanning(ECTr)is an effective electrochemical machining(ECM)technique that can be used to manufacture the integral components of aero-engine compressors.This study focused on the dynamic evolution of ECTr for production of inner blisks(bladed disks)with a special chamfer structure at blade tip.Due to the existence of chamfer,the ECTr process of inner blades is in a non-equilibrium state during the early stages,and the physical field changes in the machining gap are complex,making it difficult to predict the forming process.In this paper,a dynamic evolution model(DEM)of inner blade ECTr with a special chamfer at blade tip structure is proposed,and an ECTr multi-physical fields simulation study was carried out.The evolution of the chamfer at blade tip was analyzed and data related to chamfer were predicted based on the dependence of anode boundary properties with machining time and feed rate.In addition,the dis-tributions of current density,electrolyte flow rate,bubble volume fraction,temperature rise,and electrolyte conductivity in the machining area at different times were obtained by combining them with the multi-physical fields simulation results.Subsequently,a series of ECTr experiments were conducted,in which,as the feed rate increased,the surface quality and machining accuracy of the inner blades were improved.Compared with the simulation results,the error in machining accu-racy of the chamfer profile is controlled within±2%,and the machining accuracy of the blade full profile was controlled within±0.2 mm,indicating that the model proposed in this study was effec-tive in predicting the evolution of inner blades ECTr with chamfer structures at blade tip.

文摘The Inner Product Masking(IPM)scheme has been shown to provide higher theoretical security guarantees than the BooleanMasking(BM).This scheme aims to increase the algebraic complexity of the coding to achieve a higher level of security.Some previous work unfolds when certain(adversarial and implementation)conditions are met,and we seek to complement these investigations by understanding what happens when these conditions deviate from their expected behaviour.In this paper,we investigate the security characteristics of IPM under different conditions.In adversarial condition,the security properties of first-order IPMs obtained through parametric characterization are preserved in the face of univariate and bivariate attacks.In implementation condition,we construct two new polynomial leakage functions to observe the nonlinear leakage of the IPM and connect the security order amplification to the nonlinear function.We observe that the security of IPMis affected by the degree and the linear component in the leakage function.In addition,the comparison experiments from the coefficients,signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and the public parameter show that the security properties of the IPM are highly implementation-dependent.
