Recently,universities and colleges have been enthusiastic about“Integration of Ideological and Political Education into the Curriculum”(IIPEC).Yet there still exists ambiguity between the concept of IIPEC and ideolo... Recently,universities and colleges have been enthusiastic about“Integration of Ideological and Political Education into the Curriculum”(IIPEC).Yet there still exists ambiguity between the concept of IIPEC and ideological and political theory courses(IPTCs).This paper first specifies the meaning and implication of the two concepts,and then focuses on the dialectical relationship between them.Though IIPEC and IPTCs differ in definition and connotation,the two concepts actually go in the same direction on parallel tracks in that they are consistent in their purpose,mission and orientation of educating people,resulting in a synergy.And the explicit education provided by IPTCs and the implicit education gained through IIPEC should be combined in the ideological and political work of colleges and universities,so that they can work in tandem to better fulfill the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. 展开更多
