文摘In the field of organic solar cells(OSCs),side-chain engineering is a key strategy for developing high-performance non-fullerene small molecule acceptors(SMAs),which could adjust the material solubility and modulate the intermolecular stacking properties, profoundly impacting the film morphology and thus acting on the final power conversion efficiency(PCE) of the materials. In this study, two asymmetric acceptor molecules,Qx-Ph Br-BO and Qx-Ph Br-X,were synthesized by migrating the branching site of the outer side chain from the β-site to the γ-site.The branching site located at the γ-site could reduce the steric-hindrance effect and enhance the molecular aggregation behavior, giving rise to redshifted absorption and tight π-π stacking.Morphology analysis shows that the Qx-Ph Br-X-based devices have smoother surfaces and a phase-separated structure, which is more favorable for charge transport and extraction. The Qx-Ph Br-X-based devices exhibit balanced hole-electron mobility, efficient exciton dissociation, and low charge recombination. As a result,Qx-Ph Br-X with γ-site branching exhibits superior photovoltaic performance with a PCE of 17.16 %,which is significantly higher than that of Qx-Ph Br-BO at 16.28 %.These results highlight the importance of side-chain modifications for optimizing OSC efficiency and provide an important reference for precise tuning of side-chain structures in future molecular design.

文摘The osteochondral(OC)interface exhibits a mineral gradient, varying in thickness by several hundred micrometers across different species.Disruptions in this interface damage OC tissues, leading to osteoarthritis. The natural architecture and composition of native OC interfaces can be replicated using biomaterial scaffolds via regenerative engineering approaches.A novel one-step bioextrusion process was employed to fabricate a unitary synthetic graft(USG),which mimics the native OC interface’s mineral concentration gradient. This novel USG is composed of an agarose-based cartilage layer and a bone layer, consisting of agarose enriched with 20%(200 g/L)hydroxyapatite.The USG features a gradient interface with mineral concentrations transitioning from 0%to 20%(mass fraction),mimicking the transition between the cartilage and bone.Thermogravimetric analysis revealed that the gradient transition lengths of the graft and native OC tissue harvested from bovine knees were similar((647±21)vs.(633±124)μm).The linear viscoelastic properties of the grafts, which were evaluated using strain sweep and frequency sweep tests with oscillatory shear, indicated a dominant storage modulus over loss modulus similar to that of native OC tissues. The compressive and stress relaxation behaviors of the USGs demonstrated that the graft maintained structural integrity under mechanical stress.Viability assays performed after bioextrusion showed that chondrocytes and human fetal osteoblast cells successfully integrated and survived within their designated regions of the graft. The novel USGs exhibit properties similar to native OC tissue and are promising candidates for regenerating OC defects and restoring knee joint functionality.

文摘Layered oxides have attracted significant attention as cathodes for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)due to their compositional versatility and tuneable electrochemical performance. However, these materials still face challenges such as structural phase transitions,Na^(+)/vacancy ordering, and Jahn–Teller distortion effect, resulting in severe capacity decay and sluggish ion kinetics. We develop a novel Cu/Y dual-doping strategy that leads to the formation of"Na–Y"interlayer aggregates, which act as structural pillars within alkali metal layers, enhancing structural stability and disrupting the ordered arrangement of Na^(+)/vacancies.This disruption leads to a unique coexistence of ordered and disordered Na^(+)/vacancy states with near-zero strain, which significantly improves Na^(+)diffusion kinetics. This structural innovation not only mitigates the unfavorable P2–O2 phase transition but also facilitates rapid ion transport. As a result, the doped material demonstrates exceptional electrochemical performance, including an ultra-long cycle life of 3000 cycles at 10 C and an outstanding high-rate capability of~70 mAh g^(−1)at 50 C.The discovery of this novel interlayer pillar, along with its role in modulating Na^(+)/vacancy arrangements, provides a fresh perspective on engineering layered oxides. It opens up promising new pathways for the structural design of advanced cathode materials toward efficient, stable, and high-rate SIBs.

文摘In the realm of large-scale power system energy storage,sodium-based batteries represent a cost-effective post-lithium energy storage technology, making inorganic solid-state sodium batteries(ISSSB)a critical branch of this development.Inorganic solid-state electrolytes(ISSEs)are the core components of sodium batteries;however, they face significant challenges such as insufficient ionic conductivity, interfacial instability, and dendrite growth, all of which severely hinder practical application. This review critically assesses experimental protocols and theoretical frameworks related to mainstream ISSEs and systematizes optimization strategies aimed at overcoming these challenges.Leveraging integrated insights from both experimental and computational studies, the review first categorizes and summarizes the primary types of ISSEs,namely oxide-,sulfide-,and halide-based electrolytes. It then details interfacial optimization strategies focused on addressing three core interfacial issues:ion transport barriers resulting from mechanical incompatibility, side reactions stemming from electrochemical mismatch, and dendrite formation. Finally, the review advocates prioritizing in-depth research that integrates experimental and theoretical approaches to establish a closed-loop methodology encompassing predictive design, multiscale investigation, mechanistic exploration, and high-throughput automated experimentation, with feedback-driven refinement. This work serves as a comprehensive reference and systematic roadmap for future research on solid-state electrolytes(SSEs).

文摘Although manganese Prussian blue analogues(Mn-PBAs)offer advantages as cost-effective,high-energy-density cathode materials for sodium-ion batteries, their practical application is severely constrained by substantial capacity degradation during long-term cycling. This performance deterioration is closely associated with the structural instability of the material during the cycling process, which is mainly attributed to the gradual dissolution of the active material into the electrolyte and severe lattice distortion during Na+intercalation/deintercalation.Fortunately,the aforementioned challenges can be effectively addressed by fabricating an in situ engineered nickel cage(ISE-NC)on Mn-PBAs(denoted as Mn-PBAs-NC).Experimental characterization combined with theoretical calculations reveals that this spontaneously formed nickel cage not only suppresses the diffusion of Mn-PBAs into the electrolyte but also acts as a structural stabilizer, significantly alleviating lattice distortion during cycling. This dual stabilization mechanism ensures remarkable cycling stability, with Mn-PBAs-NC delivering a retained capacity of 96.4 mA h g−1(80%capacity retention)over 2,300 cycles at 2 C,elevating the cycle life of Mn-PBAs to unprecedented levels.

文摘Discontinuities in rock masses critically impact the stability and safety of underground engineering.Mainstream discontinuities identificationmethods, which rely on normal vector estimation and clustering algorithms, suffer from accuracy degradation, omission of critical discontinuities when orientation density is unevenly distributed, and need manual intervention. To overcome these limitations, this paper introduces a novel discontinuities identificationmethod based on geometric feature analysis of rock mass.By analyzing spatial distribution variability of point cloud and integrating an adaptive region growing algorithm, the method accurately detects independent discontinuities under complex geological conditions.Given that rock mass orientations typically follow a Fisher distribution,an adaptive hierarchical clustering algorithm based on statistical analysis is employed to automatically determine the optimal number of structural sets, eliminating the need for preset clusters or thresholds inherent in traditional methods. The proposed approach effectively handles diverse rock mass shapes and sizes, leveraging both local and global geometric features to minimize noise interference.Experimental validation on three real-world rock mass models, alongside comparisons with three conventional directional clustering algorithms, demonstrates superior accuracy and robustness in identifying optimal discontinuity sets. The proposed method offers a reliable and efficienttool for discontinuities detection and grouping in underground engineering, significantlyenhancing design and construction outcomes.

文摘TiNb_(2)O_(7)represents an up-and-coming anode material for fast-charging lithium-ion batteries, but its practicalities are severely impeded by slow transfer rates of ionic and electronic especially at the low-temperature conditions.Herein,we introduce crystallographic engineering to enhance structure stability and promote Li+diffusion kinetics of TiNb_(2)O_(7)(TNO).The density functional theory computation reveals that Ti^(4+)is replaced by Sb^(5+)and Nb^(5+)in crystal lattices, which can reduce the Li+diffusion impediment and improve electronic conductivity.Synchrotron radiation X-ray 3D nano-computed tomography and in situ X-ray diffraction measurement confirm the introduction of Sb/Nb alleviates volume expansion during lithiation and delithiation processes, contributing to enhancing structure stability.Extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectra results verify that crystallographic engineering also increases short Nb-O bond length in TNO-Sb/Nb.Accordingly,the TNO-Sb/Nb anode delivers an outstanding capacity retention rate of 89.8%at 10 C after 700 cycles and excellent rate performance(140.4 mAh g^(−1) at 20 C).Even at−30℃,TNO-Sb/Nb anode delivers a capacity of 102.6 mAh g^(−1) with little capacity degeneration for 500 cycles. This work provides guidance for the design of fast-charging batteries at low-temperature condition.
