Since ancient times,humans have endeavored to maintain their health.These methods are collectively referred to as“Yang Sheng(养生)”or health preservation practices.The concept of Yang Sheng originated and was nurtur...Since ancient times,humans have endeavored to maintain their health.These methods are collectively referred to as“Yang Sheng(养生)”or health preservation practices.The concept of Yang Sheng originated and was nurtured in ancient China.By the Ming dynasty,this practice had transcended the elite scholarly class and began to garner the attention of the general populace.With the development of the publishing industry,a large number of Yang Sheng-related books were created,disseminated,and widely read.Zhu Quan(朱权),a representative literatus of the Ming dynasty and a member of the imperial family,left behind a vast body of writings across multiple fields,including Yang Sheng,medicine,Daoism,history,drama,and phonology.Among these,his works on Yang Sheng and medicine were also transmitted to Korea and Japan,exerting an influence on East Asian Yang Sheng culture.Previous studies have largely lacked a systematic examination of Zhu Quan’s thought on Yang Sheng and have paid little attention to the transmission of this thought in Korea and Japan.This study begins with an analysis of his Yang Sheng-related text Huo Ren Xin(《活人心》Enlivening the Human Heart),and through an exploration of the core ideas in this work as well as its dissemination and reception in Korea and Japan,it attempts to shed light on the modes of transmission and exchange within East Asian Yang Sheng culture.First,the paper investigates the formation of Zhu Quan’s thinking by examining his life and intellectual background.It then analyzes the compilation,content,and conceptual features of Huo Ren Xin,and explores its transmission in Korea and Japan based on extant editions.Finally,through an examination of medical texts and literary works by scholars in Korea and Japan,the study further elucidates the acceptance and transmission of Zhu Quan’s Yang Sheng thought across East Asia.展开更多
Objective: This study aims to explore the application effects of Shen-Shi Zhi-Tong plaster combined with Lei-Huo moxibustion in preventing and treating gastrointestinal reactions induced by chemotherapy, particularly ...Objective: This study aims to explore the application effects of Shen-Shi Zhi-Tong plaster combined with Lei-Huo moxibustion in preventing and treating gastrointestinal reactions induced by chemotherapy, particularly its efficacy in managing chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV). Methods: A total of 100 patients with gastrointestinal reactions who were hospitalized in the oncology department of Nanning Third People’s Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as study subjects. They were randomly divided into two groups: the observation group (n = 50) received standard antiemetic treatment in conjunction with Shen-Shi Zhi-Tong plaster and Lei-Huo moxibustion, while the control group (n = 50) received only standard antiemetic treatment and Lei-Huo moxibustion. The occurrence of nausea and vomiting during chemotherapy was recorded using a CINV nursing log, and the incidence rates of acute and delayed vomiting were statistically analyzed. Results: The incidence rate of acute vomiting in the observation group was 42%, significantly lower than the control group’s 64% (P = 0.0300);the incidence rate of delayed vomiting was 36% in the observation group compared to 48% in the control group (P = 0.1900). The mean nausea grade in the observation group was 1.08, significantly lower than 2.02 in the control group (P Conclusion: Shen-Shi Zhi-Tong plaster combined with Lei-Huo moxibustion can effectively reduce the incidence of nausea and vomiting in patients undergoing highly emetogenic chemotherapy and shows good clinical application prospects. Objective:To explore the effect of the Xian Fang Huo Ming Yin(XFHM)for treating cutaneous infections and promoting wound healing in patients with perianal abscesses.Methods:Sixty-one patients with perianal abscesses w...Objective:To explore the effect of the Xian Fang Huo Ming Yin(XFHM)for treating cutaneous infections and promoting wound healing in patients with perianal abscesses.Methods:Sixty-one patients with perianal abscesses who were admitted to our hospital(Xinghua City People’s Hospital)from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,a control group(30 cases)and a study group(31 cases).Both groups received surgical treatment.The control group received conventional treatment and warm water fumigation,sitz bath,and surgical dressing change after surgery,while the research group received XFHM based on the control group.XFHM was taken orally and replaced with warm water for fumigation and sitz bathing.Both groups received treatment for 4 weeks but discontinued sitz bathing after 2 weeks.Various clinical indicators between the two groups were compared.Results:The total clinical effective rate and wound recovery rate of the study group were higher than that of the control group.There were differences in the wound pain scores,surrounding tissue edema,and wound secretions at different time points.Both groups experienced wound pain.The scores of wound pain,surrounding tissue edema,and wound secretions of the study group were lower than those of the control group,7 and 14 days after surgery.The serum interleukin 6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)levels,and pH values of the study group were lower than those of the control group 10 days after surgery(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of XFHM for treating cutaneous infections and promoting wound healing in patients with perianal abscesses improved the treatment outcome,alleviated clinical symptoms,and promoted healing.展开更多
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effects of Tong-Qiao-Huo-Xue decoction(TQHXD)on the bloodbrain barrier(BBB)permeability and the expressions of related proteins on the rats;and to analyse the constituents in the cerebrospina...OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effects of Tong-Qiao-Huo-Xue decoction(TQHXD)on the bloodbrain barrier(BBB)permeability and the expressions of related proteins on the rats;and to analyse the constituents in the cerebrospinal fluid on the rats with cerebral ischemic injury.METHODS Cerebral ischemia rats were induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO).Adult male sprague-dawley(SD)rats were randomly divided into seven groups:sham-group;model group;nimodipine(NMP)-treated group and nao mai tai(NMT)-treated group were set as positive drug control groups;TQHXD-treated group(3,6 and 12g·kg-1body weight);The neurological function of rats was estimated by neurological defect scoring after the 1,7and 15 dafter administration.Histological structure of the brain in rats were observed by hematoxylin and eosin(H&E)staining.Ultramicrostructural features of hippocampus neurons and the opening of tight junction(TJ)of BBB in rats were observed by transmission electron microscope(TEM).Western blotting was performed to detect the expression of ZO-1,occludin,claudin-5,AQP-4 and MMP-9 in BBB after cerebral ischemia injury.Component analysis experiments:adult male SD rats were randomly divided into four groups:Distilled water was administered intragastrically sham-operated rats;Distilled water was administered intragastrically model rats by MCAO;TQHXD was administered intragatrically to rats in sham-operated group;TQHXD was administered intragestrically to rats in model group by MCAO.GC and HPLC was used to detect three compounds,namely,muscone,ligustilide and hydroxysafflor yellow A,in rats cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)after oral administration of TQHXD.Finally,samples of cerebrospinal fluid of rats in each group were compared with single medicine so as to explicit the three compounds come from which herb.RESULTS TQHXD significantly reduced the neurological defect scores.Histological examination indicated that dense neuropil and largely surviving neurons had been seen in TQHXD-treated rats.TEM observation revealed that TQHXD could significantly inhibit the damage of hippocampal neurons and reduce the opening of TJ.The decreased protein expression levels of claudin-5,occludin,ZO-1 and the increased protein expression levels of AQP-4 and MMP-9in cerebral ischemia tissue were significantly prevented by treatment of TQHXD.Analysis of experimental results showed that muscone,ligustilide and hydroxysafflor yellow A could penetrate the BBB into the CSF,and the content of the model group was lower than that of sham group after intragastric administration of TQHXD.CONCLUSION These results demonstrated that TQHXD may act as a potential neuroprotective agent against BBB damage for cerebral ischemia through protecting of hippocampus neurons,reducing the opening of TJ and decreasing the permeability of BBB by up-regulating ZO-1,occludin,claudin-5 expressions,down-regulating AQP-4 and MMP-9 expressions.The effect of TQHXD on the decrease of the opening of TJ also reduced the content of muscone,ligustilide and hydroxysafflor yellow A in cerebrospinal fluid.展开更多
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Qing Gan Huo Xue Prescription(QGHXP)in the treatment of patients with alcoholic liver cirrhosis(ALC)of damp and heat stasis syndrome.Methods:A total of 69 patients with ALC were r...Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Qing Gan Huo Xue Prescription(QGHXP)in the treatment of patients with alcoholic liver cirrhosis(ALC)of damp and heat stasis syndrome.Methods:A total of 69 patients with ALC were randomly divided into TCM group(n=35)and control group(n=34).The TCM group was given QGHXP 1 pack TID orally.Control group received polyene phosphatidylcholine capsule 456 mg TID for 24 weeks.The observation measurements are symptom efficacy rate,serum level of liver enzyme,and non-invasive liver cirrhosis evaluation,including liver stiffness measurement(LSM)examininged by FibroTouch,APRI score,FIB-4 index and Maddrey discriminant function.Results:The symptom efficacy rate of the experimental group and the control group was 85.70%and 61.80%(P=0.024).Liver enzyme levels(serum ALP,γ-GT,AST and ALT)of TCM group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).LSM of TCM group was reduced after treatment,and was significant lower than control group(14.19±1.49)vs.(15.06±1.24)(P<0.05).The APRI scores,FIB-4 index and Maddrey discriminant functions of TCM group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:QGHXP is an effective alternative for the treatment of damp and heat stasis syndrome of ALC in improving liver function and clinical symptoms.展开更多
Objectives:To discuss the mechanism of Sheng Yang San Huo decoction on diabetic peripheral neuropathy using the network pharmacology method.Methods:The BATMAN-TCM database,TCM-ID database,Chinese Natural Product Chemi...Objectives:To discuss the mechanism of Sheng Yang San Huo decoction on diabetic peripheral neuropathy using the network pharmacology method.Methods:The BATMAN-TCM database,TCM-ID database,Chinese Natural Product Chemical Composition Database,and TCMIP database were employed to screen the chemical active ingredients of each herb in Sheng Yang San Huo decoction based on the“Libinsky Drug Rules”.SwissTargetPrediction was used to screen effective action targets for each herb in the prescription.Additionally,Cytoscape 3.7.0 was utilized to construct a“drug-target”network.GeneCards,OMIM,and MaLaCards databases were utilized to gather targets related to diabetic peripheral neuropathy.VENNY 2.1 online platform was employed to match drug and disease targets,draw a Venn diagram,and construct a“drug-active compounds-common target”network using Cytoscape 3.7.0.gene ontology biological process analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway enrichment analysis for the targets were conducted using the DAVID 6.8 database.Enrichment analysis results were visualized using the OmicShareTool online platform.Molecular docking was performed using CB-Dock2.Results:Following screening,a total of 217 active compounds and 132 potential targets were identified in Sheng Yang San Huo decoction.The effects are primarily enriched in pathways such as Lipid and Atherosclerosis,AGE-RAGE signaling pathway in diabetic complications,and the IL-17 signaling pathway.The binding energy of the key active ingredients to the core protein targets of DPN was favorable.Conclusion:The study reveals the characteristics of multiple targets and pathways of Sheng Yang San Huo decoction,providing new insights for the clinical application of this prescription.展开更多

Objective To investigate the prevention effects and the physicochemical mechanisms of action of Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang on delayed cerebral vasospasm(DCD) after subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).Methods Macaca cynomolgus we...Objective To investigate the prevention effects and the physicochemical mechanisms of action of Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang on delayed cerebral vasospasm(DCD) after subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).Methods Macaca cynomolgus were divided into two groups and underwent craniectomy,a semipermeable microdialysis catheter was placed adjacent to right middle cerebral artery (MCA).Therapeutic group were exposed to Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang and control group to placebo via oral .Results The diameter of proximal MCA in therapeutic group changed slightly on 7th day after operation(P >0.05),whereas it decreased prominently(P< 0.05) in control group with severe vasospasm.OxyHb concentration:There’s no significant difference between the two groups on 2nd ~5th day(P >0.05),the concentration of therapeutic group(was zero after 8 days) was lower than that of control group (became zero after 12 days) on 6th ~8th day(P< 0.05).The peak value of therapeutic group (on 5th day) was lower than that of control group (on 7th day)(P< 0.05).Conclusion Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang can prevent DCV after SAH effectively and decreasing OxyHb concentration around vessels after SAH maybe the mechanism.展开更多

文摘Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Qing Gan Huo Xue Prescription(QGHXP)in the treatment of patients with alcoholic liver cirrhosis(ALC)of damp and heat stasis syndrome.Methods:A total of 69 patients with ALC were randomly divided into TCM group(n=35)and control group(n=34).The TCM group was given QGHXP 1 pack TID orally.Control group received polyene phosphatidylcholine capsule 456 mg TID for 24 weeks.The observation measurements are symptom efficacy rate,serum level of liver enzyme,and non-invasive liver cirrhosis evaluation,including liver stiffness measurement(LSM)examininged by FibroTouch,APRI score,FIB-4 index and Maddrey discriminant function.Results:The symptom efficacy rate of the experimental group and the control group was 85.70%and 61.80%(P=0.024).Liver enzyme levels(serum ALP,γ-GT,AST and ALT)of TCM group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).LSM of TCM group was reduced after treatment,and was significant lower than control group(14.19±1.49)vs.(15.06±1.24)(P<0.05).The APRI scores,FIB-4 index and Maddrey discriminant functions of TCM group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:QGHXP is an effective alternative for the treatment of damp and heat stasis syndrome of ALC in improving liver function and clinical symptoms.

文摘Objectives:To discuss the mechanism of Sheng Yang San Huo decoction on diabetic peripheral neuropathy using the network pharmacology method.Methods:The BATMAN-TCM database,TCM-ID database,Chinese Natural Product Chemical Composition Database,and TCMIP database were employed to screen the chemical active ingredients of each herb in Sheng Yang San Huo decoction based on the“Libinsky Drug Rules”.SwissTargetPrediction was used to screen effective action targets for each herb in the prescription.Additionally,Cytoscape 3.7.0 was utilized to construct a“drug-target”network.GeneCards,OMIM,and MaLaCards databases were utilized to gather targets related to diabetic peripheral neuropathy.VENNY 2.1 online platform was employed to match drug and disease targets,draw a Venn diagram,and construct a“drug-active compounds-common target”network using Cytoscape 3.7.0.gene ontology biological process analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway enrichment analysis for the targets were conducted using the DAVID 6.8 database.Enrichment analysis results were visualized using the OmicShareTool online platform.Molecular docking was performed using CB-Dock2.Results:Following screening,a total of 217 active compounds and 132 potential targets were identified in Sheng Yang San Huo decoction.The effects are primarily enriched in pathways such as Lipid and Atherosclerosis,AGE-RAGE signaling pathway in diabetic complications,and the IL-17 signaling pathway.The binding energy of the key active ingredients to the core protein targets of DPN was favorable.Conclusion:The study reveals the characteristics of multiple targets and pathways of Sheng Yang San Huo decoction,providing new insights for the clinical application of this prescription.

文摘Objective To investigate the prevention effects and the physicochemical mechanisms of action of Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang on delayed cerebral vasospasm(DCD) after subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).Methods Macaca cynomolgus were divided into two groups and underwent craniectomy,a semipermeable microdialysis catheter was placed adjacent to right middle cerebral artery (MCA).Therapeutic group were exposed to Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang and control group to placebo via oral .Results The diameter of proximal MCA in therapeutic group changed slightly on 7th day after operation(P >0.05),whereas it decreased prominently(P< 0.05) in control group with severe vasospasm.OxyHb concentration:There’s no significant difference between the two groups on 2nd ~5th day(P >0.05),the concentration of therapeutic group(was zero after 8 days) was lower than that of control group (became zero after 12 days) on 6th ~8th day(P< 0.05).The peak value of therapeutic group (on 5th day) was lower than that of control group (on 7th day)(P< 0.05).Conclusion Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang can prevent DCV after SAH effectively and decreasing OxyHb concentration around vessels after SAH maybe the mechanism.
文摘文章介绍霍清萍教授运用补肾化瘀方治疗脑小血管病(cerebral small vessel disease,CSVD)的经验。霍清萍教授从事中西医结合脑病临床与研究40余年,对治疗脑小血管病具有独到的见解与丰富的临床经验。她认为脑小血管病的病因病机复杂,核心病机为肾虚血瘀,治疗时应以补肾活血为要且贯穿始终。皮质下小梗死治宜补肾益气、化瘀通络,脑白质病变治宜补肾化瘀、健脾益气,脑微出血治宜补肾活血、平肝潜阳息风。并附验案1例。
