The Digital Rights Management (DRM) technology provides total solution for usage, storage, transfer, and tracing the digital contents and rights. Its basic features are systematic and controllability. Considering the growth of the new media and services and the requirements of the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection in a home network, it's necessary to solve consistency problems in usage, storage, and transfer of contents and rights. Although architecture of the digital home network based on telecommunication networks has been standardized in China, only wireless access is defined to be allowable. Therefore, it becomes the focus of further research how to establish a wireless digital home network. This article proposes the concept and shows the architecture of ubiquitous access for wireless digital home networks. Moreover, key technologies for ubiquitous access are discussed here, including cognitive radio, the concept of wireless Mesh, generic link transfer mechanism, Quality of Service (QoS) guarantee mechanism, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and coexistence of heterogeneous systems. 展开更多

This paper presents a system to alert of dangerous a child situation of a child by applying context information collected from a home network to ontology that is capable of inference. Radio frequency Identification (RFID) and sensors were used for the configuration of a home network, to obtain the raw data to convert into context information. To express the ontology, web ontology language (OWL) was used to provide the inference of context information. Then, simple object access protocol (SOAP) messages were used to notify of the dangerous situations that a child may be involved in via mobile devices. The proposed system consists of Context Manager, Service Manager, and Notification Manager. The child’s safety management system can proactively detect the context data of a child on the basis of context awareness. In the experiment, the Jena 2.0 by ontology reasoner and the OSGi(Open Service Gateway initiative) Gateway developed using open source software Knopflerfish 1.3.3 were used to implement the service frame work. 展开更多

It is clear that the major share of the total cost is referred to the internal controlling system network; although there are too many methods proposed but still there is not any satisfying method at the consumers' point of view. In this paper, a novel solution for this demand is proposed, which not only minimizes the implementation cost, but also provides a high level of reliability and simplicity of operation; feasibility, extendibility, and flexibility are other leading properties of the design. 展开更多

Millimeter-wave(mmWave)technology has been well studied for both outdoor long-distance transmission and indoor short-range communication.In the recently emerging fiber-to-the-room(FTTR)architecture in the home network of the fifth generation fixed networks(F5G),mmWave technology can be cascaded well to a new optical network terminal in the room to enable extremely high data rate communication(i.e.,>10 Gb/s).In the FTTR+mmWave scenario,the rapid degradation of the mmWave signal in long-distance transmission and the significant loss against wall penetration are no longer the bottlenecks for real application.Moreover,the surrounding walls of every room provide excellent isolation to avoid interference and guarantee security.This paper provides insights and analysis for the new FTTR+mmWave architecture to improve the customer experience in future broadband services such as immersive audiovisual videos. 展开更多

However, deploying HAN for underdeveloped countries in Africa is not easy due to the lack of Inter... The Internet of things (IoT) can be used in our daily life. Home area network (HAN) is one of the applications of loT. However, deploying HAN for underdeveloped countries in Africa is not easy due to the lack of Internet connectivity and stable electricity. First of all, Internet in Africa is growing fast but the majority of countries in Africa have Internet penetration of less than 10%. Furthermore, the problem of accessing electricity varies greatly across African countries, which is still less than 30% of the average usage rate. The aim of this paper is to model a secure HAN based on IoT for resource constraints environment, which are focused on both network connectivity and energy stability. Poor connectivity, the prevalence of low-end devices and several other obstacles should be considered for the secure HAN deployment in developing and underdeveloped countries. The proposed HAN model will provide the resource constraints module composed of network connectivity function and energy stability function to support the two constraints based on the IoT basic module and the security and privacy module. The proposed HAN model could be securely applied to various countries HAN applications with poor electricity supply and network connectivity. 展开更多

In the study of intelligent space oriented to home service robot, an important technology is how to construct an communication network which has the characters of high reliability and easy building. In this paper, based on the characteristics of ZigBee protocol, ZigBee technology is used to construct a wireless sensor and actor network. Several intelligent services based on ZigBee wireless sensor and actor network are shown to certify the reliability of this communication network. ZigBee wireless sensor and actor network builds an information bridge for the components in the intelligent space, the spatially distributed devices are connected together seamlessly. With this network, robot can share the mass information in the intelligent space and improve its performance with 'light-packs', devices in intelligent space, such as lamp, curtain can be controlled autonomously. 展开更多

Light-packs service robots can provide reliable and intelligent service by interacting with the environment through the wireless sensor networks. The intelligent space consists the following main components: smart devices with intelligent artificial mark;home server that connects the smart device and maintains the information through wireless sensor network;and the service robot that perform tasks in collaboration with the environment. In this paper, the multi-pattern information model is built, the construction of wireless sensor networks is presented, the smart and agilely home service is introduced. An EEGA-Based Bayesian Belief Network Model for Recognition of Human Activity in Smart Home

With the emerging of sensor networks, research on sensor-based activity recognition has attracted much attention. Many existing methods cannot well deal with the cases that contain hundreds of sensors and their recognition accuracy is requisite to be further improved. A novel framework for recognizing human activities in smart home was presented. First, small, easy-to-install, and low-cost state change sensors were adopted for recording state change or use of the objects. Then the Bayesian belief network (BBN) was applied to conducting activity recognition by modeling statistical dependencies between sensor data and human activity. An edge-encode genetic algorithm (EEGA) approach was proposed to resolve the difficulties in structure learning of the BBN model under a high dimension space and large data set. Finally, some experiments were made using one publicly available dataset. The experimental results show that the EEGA algorithm is effective and efficient in learning the BBN structure and outperforms the conventional approaches. By conducting human activity recognition based on the testing samples, the BBN is effective to conduct human activity recognition and outperforms the naive Bayesian network (NBN) and multiclass naive Bayes classifier (MNBC). 展开更多

文章基于网络视频平台双边市场为背景,结合双边市场理论及Hotelling模型构建双寡头网络视频平台竞争模型。考虑用户隐私顾虑的影响下,研究广告商和用户均为单归属(SS)、仅广告商多归属(MS)、仅用户多归属(SM)及双方均为多归属(MM)四种... 文章基于网络视频平台双边市场为背景,结合双边市场理论及Hotelling模型构建双寡头网络视频平台竞争模型。考虑用户隐私顾虑的影响下,研究广告商和用户均为单归属(SS)、仅广告商多归属(MS)、仅用户多归属(SM)及双方均为多归属(MM)四种不同市场结构中,同侧和跨侧网络效应对广告定价、市场份额和平台利润的影响,研究发现:(1)当广告商和用户均为单归属时,同侧网络效应越大,单归属定向推送平台的用户和广告商的数量越多,平台提高广告定价来获取更高的利润。(2)当广告商多归属时,跨侧网络效应和用户隐私顾虑越大,广告商更倾向于多归属。(3)当用户多归属时,同侧网络效应和用户隐私顾虑越大,用户更倾向于多归属行为。(4)当广告商和用户均为多归属时,用户隐私顾虑较小时,同侧网络效应越大,广告商更倾向于单归属定向推送平台,而用户更倾向于多归属。通过对不同情形下均衡结果的横向比较,发现当跨侧网络效应较小时,用户单归属时,平台能够获取更高的利润;当用户隐私顾虑和跨侧网络效应都比较小时,不考虑用户隐私的平台在广告商和用户均为多归属情况下可以获得更高的利润。 展开更多

网络外部性下考虑用户归属情形的社区团购平台定价策略研究

本文以社区团购为背景,综合考虑网络外部性及用户归属情形,构建一个社区团购双寡头竞争市场双边平台博弈模型,并对社区团购平台的定价策略、市场份额以及平台利润进行深入探讨和分析。研究结果表明:当用户为单归属时,不论双边用户偏好... 本文以社区团购为背景,综合考虑网络外部性及用户归属情形,构建一个社区团购双寡头竞争市场双边平台博弈模型,并对社区团购平台的定价策略、市场份额以及平台利润进行深入探讨和分析。研究结果表明:当用户为单归属时,不论双边用户偏好及网络外部性如何变动,两个社区团购平台都会平分单归属方市场。用户的平台偏好越强,就越倾向于单归属,网络外部性越强,就越倾向于多归属;不同归属情形下,社区团购平台对消费者的定价会受到用户偏好以及网络外部性影响,当消费者偏好超过某个阈值时,平台会对其进行收费以提高利润,反之,则进行补贴以吸引流量;在只考虑消费者同边网络外部性以及供应商交叉网络外部性前提下,社区团购平台对供应商始终采取收费策略,当部分供应商由单归属转为多归属时,其市场影响力提高,供应商的偏好强度不仅对自身定价产生影响,同时也影响平台对消费者的定价以及平台利润。 展开更多

发展氢能是我国推动能源结构转型以及实现“碳达峰”的重要措施,主要在燃料电池汽车领域开展示范应用,应用场景较为单一,无法拉动氢能产业链建设完善的氢能供应体系。目前科技部联合山东省政府,在山东地区实施“氢进万家”科技示范工程... 发展氢能是我国推动能源结构转型以及实现“碳达峰”的重要措施,主要在燃料电池汽车领域开展示范应用,应用场景较为单一,无法拉动氢能产业链建设完善的氢能供应体系。目前科技部联合山东省政府,在山东地区实施“氢进万家”科技示范工程,重点围绕“一条氢能高速、二个氢能港口、三个科普基地、四个氢能园区、五个氢能社区”的建设目标实施,通过建设纯氢管网、天然气掺氢等措施,开展将氢能应用进入工业园区、社区楼宇和交通移动用能、港口、高速等多场景的应用示范,构建氢能在工业供能、城镇供能、交通运输等3个规模化应用场景,打造“氢进万家”示范工程的齐鲁样板,为全国氢能产业发展贡献山东经验。固态金属储氢由于具备体积储氢效率高、能效高、安全性好等优点,在工业供能、城镇供能、交通运输等场景下均有着较为广阔的市场前景,可有效解决当前高压气态氢气在运输、储存、加注等环节已经暴露的问题,结合“氢进万家”打造的氢能应用场景以及固态金属储氢技术的特点,对固态金属储氢技术的未来应用做了分析和展望,涵盖氢气的存储、输配、供应和换热,对固态金属储氢技术的发展做了预测,将在加氢站内储氢、氢储能/发电领域、应急电源换氢、热电联供储供氢等方面发挥重要作用,镁基固态储氢在大容积固态储氢长途运输、站内储氢应用和热电联供储供氢匹配度较高,解决氢气存储和释放易于控制的问题,站内储氢构建高密度储氢静态压缩一体化系统,能耗和安全性指标提升,镧基和钛基储氢材料用于氢气的规模化存储,应用于氢储能/发电领域,完成常温低压储氢过程,镧镍基储氢材料用于应急电源储氢,实现快速吸放氢,对行业有一定参考意义。 展开更多
