In particular, the requirement of such planned housing areas has not matched public service provided by the infrastructure. On not only physical but also social aspect of local communities of this kind of housing area have a lot of problems while it also has a lot of good characteristics. A representative one is that age of the tenants is rising very swiftly and it makes the local community imbalanced. Nowadays many countries including Japan have tackled problems concerning housing estates constructed during the mass housing era and try to search for ways to reactivate so-called new town areas by utilisation of existing environmental resources such as building stock and ample green open space. In Japan many elemental technologies have been developed in order to utilise existing building stock. However, how to combine these technologies and new holistic methods for reactivation are still underdeveloped. Therefore, it is very important to fred these ways and to make a comprehensive plan for rehabilitation of these areas. The first purpose of our study is to develop and clarify how to organise and integrate many kinds of elemental techniques and the holistic measures for the improvement of both social and physical environment in suburban mass housing estates. Subsequently we try to reorganise proper relations between human settlements and the various service provision for those regions. Our last focus is put on searching for new ways to raise the value of existing housing environment. The characteristics and sustainable management of water resources on a basin scale require that they should be managed using a holistic approach.In this study,a holistic methodology called the holistic approach in a b...The characteristics and sustainable management of water resources on a basin scale require that they should be managed using a holistic approach.In this study,a holistic methodology called the holistic approach in a basin scale(HABS)is proposed to determine the ecological water requirements of a whole basin.There are three principles in HABS.First,ecological water requirements in a basin scale indicate not only the coupling of hydrological and ecological systems,but also the exchange of matter and energy between each ecological type through all kinds of physical geography processes.Second,ecological water requirements can be divided into different types according to their functions,and water requirements of different types are compatible.Third,ecological water requirements are related to a multiple system including water quality,water quantity,and time and space,which interact with each other.The holistic approach in a basin scale was then used in the Yellow River Basin and it suggested that 265.0x108 m3 of water,45%of the total surface water resources,should be allocated to ecological systems,such as rivers,lakes,wetlands and cities,to sustain its function and health.The ecological water requirements of inside river systems and outside river systems were respectively 261.0×10^(8) and 3.65×10^(8)m^(3).展开更多
Much of the published literature in Radiology-related Artificial Intelligence(AI)focuses on single tasks,such as identifying the presence or absence or severity of specific lesions.Progress comparable to that achieved...Much of the published literature in Radiology-related Artificial Intelligence(AI)focuses on single tasks,such as identifying the presence or absence or severity of specific lesions.Progress comparable to that achieved for general-purpose computer vision has been hampered by the unavailability of large and diverse radiology datasets containing different types of lesions with possibly multiple kinds of abnormalities in the same image.Also,since a diagnosis is rarely achieved through an image alone,radiology AI must be able to employ diverse strategies that consider all available evidence,not just imaging information.Using key imaging and clinical signs will help improve their accuracy and utility tremendously.Employing strategies that consider all available evidence will be a formidable task;we believe that the combination of human and computer intelligence will be superior to either one alone.Further,unless an AI application is explainable,radiologists will not trust it to be either reliable or bias-free;we discuss some approaches aimed at providing better explanations,as well as regulatory concerns regarding explainability(“transparency”).Finally,we look at federated learning,which allows pooling data from multiple locales while maintaining data privacy to create more generalizable and reliable models,and quantum computing,still prototypical but potentially revolutionary in its computing impact.展开更多

The integration of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)into clinical education presents an opportunity to enhance medical training by providing students with a more holistic approach to patient care.This study explores t...The integration of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)into clinical education presents an opportunity to enhance medical training by providing students with a more holistic approach to patient care.This study explores the methods and challenges of integrating TCM theory into clinical internships for medical students at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.A mixed-methods approach was employed,combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with medical students,clinical instructors,and TCM practitioners.The results indicate that while students generally recognize the relevance and benefits of TCM in enhancing diagnostic skills and promoting a holistic understanding of health,several challenges remain.These include the lack of standardized TCM training,limited practical exposure to TCM diagnostic methods,and resistance from some clinical instructors.Despite these challenges,students expressed a strong desire for more structured TCM training and greater support from instructors.Based on the findings,the study recommends the standardization of TCM curricula,enhanced professional development for instructors,and increased collaboration between Western and TCM practitioners.The study concludes that the integration of TCM into medical education can significantly improve student clinical skills and patient care outcomes if appropriately structured and supported.展开更多
Decision support systems(DSS)based on physically based numerical models are standard tools used by water services and utilities.However,few DSS based on holistic approaches combining distributed hydrological,hydraulic...Decision support systems(DSS)based on physically based numerical models are standard tools used by water services and utilities.However,few DSS based on holistic approaches combining distributed hydrological,hydraulic,and hydrogeological models are operationally exploited.This holistic approach was adopted for the development of the AquaVar DSS,used for water resource management in the French Mediterranean Var watershed.The year 2019 marked the initial use of the DSS in its operational environment.Over the next 5 years,multiple hydrological events allowed to test the performance of the DSS.The results show that the tool is capable of simulating peak flows associated with two extreme rainfall events(storms Alex and Aline).For a moderate flood,the real-time functionality was able to simulate forecast discharges 26 h before the flood peak,with a maximum local error of 30%.Finally,simulations for the drought period 2022-2023 highlighted the essential need for DSS to evolve in line with changing climatic conditions,which give rise to unprecedented hydrological processes.The lessons learned from these first 5 years of AquaVar use under operational conditions are synthesized,addressing various topics such as DSS modularity,evolution,data positioning,technology,and governance.展开更多

This paper presents a holistic multimodal approach for real-time anomaly detection and classification in largescale photovoltaic plants.The approach encompasses segmentation,geolocation,and classification of individua...This paper presents a holistic multimodal approach for real-time anomaly detection and classification in largescale photovoltaic plants.The approach encompasses segmentation,geolocation,and classification of individual photovoltaic modules.A fine-tuned Yolov7 model was trained for the individual module’s segmentation of both modalities;RGB and IR images.The localization of individual solar panels relies on photogrammetric measurements to facilitate maintenance operations.The localization process also links extracted images of the same panel using their geographical coordinates and preprocesses them for the multimodal model input.The study also focuses on optimizing pre-trained models using Bayesian search to improve and fine-tune them with our dataset.The dataset was collected from different systems and technologies within our research platform.It has been curated into 1841 images and classified into five anomaly classes.Grad-CAM,an explainable AI tool,is utilized to compare the use of multimodality to a single modality.Finally,for real-time optimization,the ONNX format was used to optimize the model further for deployment in real-time.The improved ConvNext-Tiny model performed well in both modalities,with 99%precision,recall,and F1-score for binary classification and 85%for multi-class classification.In terms of latency,the segmentation models have an inference time of 14 ms and 12 ms for RGB and IR images and 24 ms for detection and classification.The proposed holistic approach includes a built-in feedback loop to ensure the model’s robustness against domain shifts in the production environment.展开更多

(2) Every landscape modelled has to be identified, delimited and characterised before application of the hierarchical theory. (3) The functioning of a landscape involves data of multiple types (climate, soil, vegetation, fauna, buildings, communications, economy, aesthetics, etc.) which must be integrated in a holistic approach. (4) Every landscape is spatially heterogeneous, and the structure of the model must be more or less isomorphic with its heterogeneity. ( 5) The evolution of the landscape must be modelled on a rather long period of time. For all these reasons, it is necessary to build ad hoc models. Through this program, we identified that self regulative and case analytical approach were major issues for holistic approach to health education. We also identified that a community approach provides the scientific basis for health education in the community.Conclusions The present paper generates a healthcare paradigm for surveillance in health/medical education. This approach systematically integrates and innovatively develops the scientific theories and methods developed by the Communist Party of China over the last one hundred years, with original contributions made by the concepts of “overall security” and “field security.” Overall national security is at a higher level, political in nature, and full of theoretical appeal. In contrast, field security is dynamic, oriented toward solving practical problems, and closely related to securitizing nonsecurity issues. From the three aspects of security and national security, development and security, and overall and field security,we find that overall national security and field security have a dialectical relationship between the universal and the particular, the macro and the micro, and the ordinary and the principal. Properly handling these dialectical relations will help implement the basic principles of balanced development and security and better ensure new development with a new security pattern.展开更多

文摘Xi Jinping,General Secretary of the Communist Party of China(CPC)Central Committee,has creatively put forward a holistic approach to national security,making a major breakthrough beyond the traditional national security concepts and providing the world with a new one characterized by universality and inclusivity.This thesis uses a holistic approach to national security to analyze the ongoing Russia-Ukraine crisis:its underlying causes,latest developments,tactics deployed,and potential implications.The outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine crisis highlights the antagonism between different national security paths of the US,Russia,and Ukraine.Moreover,the crisis has proven the correctness of the path of national security with Chinese characteristics and the importance of pursuing peaceful development.The process of the Russia-Ukraine crisis has foregrounded the necessity and scientificity of balancing development and security-that is,a higher level of national security provides a guarantee and support for high-quality development,which in turn improves its competence and efficiency.Typified by intertwined traditional and non-traditional security issues,the form of the RussiaUkraine crisis has indicated that,to safeguard national security,China must coordinate a full spectrum of security issues,be prepared for worst-case scenarios,and remain keenly alert to potential dangers.Efforts must be made to strengthen a well-coordinated,interconnected,and multi-pronged approach.The consequences of the Russia-Ukraine crisis shed light on the complexity of the international security environment wheredisorder prevails,and underscore the importance of paying equal attention to our security and that shared by the world.China must continue to encourage all other countries to pursue peaceful development,actively respond to the legitimate security concerns of the international community,and promote a new type of international security framework that features mutually beneficial cooperation under the vision of a community with a shared future for humanity.
文摘Social imbalance and obsolescence of the built environment has emerged in large sized housing estates in metropolises. In particular, the requirement of such planned housing areas has not matched public service provided by the infrastructure. On not only physical but also social aspect of local communities of this kind of housing area have a lot of problems while it also has a lot of good characteristics. A representative one is that age of the tenants is rising very swiftly and it makes the local community imbalanced. Nowadays many countries including Japan have tackled problems concerning housing estates constructed during the mass housing era and try to search for ways to reactivate so-called new town areas by utilisation of existing environmental resources such as building stock and ample green open space. In Japan many elemental technologies have been developed in order to utilise existing building stock. However, how to combine these technologies and new holistic methods for reactivation are still underdeveloped. Therefore, it is very important to fred these ways and to make a comprehensive plan for rehabilitation of these areas. The first purpose of our study is to develop and clarify how to organise and integrate many kinds of elemental techniques and the holistic measures for the improvement of both social and physical environment in suburban mass housing estates. Subsequently we try to reorganise proper relations between human settlements and the various service provision for those regions. Our last focus is put on searching for new ways to raise the value of existing housing environment. Our conclusion intends to indicate important of the master plan and its execution, where mass housing estates progress for the physical and social improvement.

文摘With the rapid growth of the cosmetics industry,the demand for diversified and interdisciplinary talent is increasing.However,a structural mismatch persists between current educational approaches and industry needs,particularly in aligning with the holistic education model,which emphasizes moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic,and labor development.To bridge this gap,Guangdong Pharmaceutical University has implemented a comprehensive reform of its holistic education system,aiming to cultivate well-rounded cosmetics professionals.Key initiatives include integrating professional ethics into moral education,strengthening the integration of theory and practice in intellectual training,emphasizing skin health management in physical education,enhancing aesthetic appreciation and creative thinking,and promoting labor spirit and practical skills through hands-on experiences.These reform efforts have yielded significant results,contributing high-quality talent to the cosmetics industry and offering a valuable model for other institutions seeking to align education with industry demands.

文摘The characteristics and sustainable management of water resources on a basin scale require that they should be managed using a holistic approach.In this study,a holistic methodology called the holistic approach in a basin scale(HABS)is proposed to determine the ecological water requirements of a whole basin.There are three principles in HABS.First,ecological water requirements in a basin scale indicate not only the coupling of hydrological and ecological systems,but also the exchange of matter and energy between each ecological type through all kinds of physical geography processes.Second,ecological water requirements can be divided into different types according to their functions,and water requirements of different types are compatible.Third,ecological water requirements are related to a multiple system including water quality,water quantity,and time and space,which interact with each other.The holistic approach in a basin scale was then used in the Yellow River Basin and it suggested that 265.0x108 m3 of water,45%of the total surface water resources,should be allocated to ecological systems,such as rivers,lakes,wetlands and cities,to sustain its function and health.The ecological water requirements of inside river systems and outside river systems were respectively 261.0×10^(8) and 3.65×10^(8)m^(3).
文摘Much of the published literature in Radiology-related Artificial Intelligence(AI)focuses on single tasks,such as identifying the presence or absence or severity of specific lesions.Progress comparable to that achieved for general-purpose computer vision has been hampered by the unavailability of large and diverse radiology datasets containing different types of lesions with possibly multiple kinds of abnormalities in the same image.Also,since a diagnosis is rarely achieved through an image alone,radiology AI must be able to employ diverse strategies that consider all available evidence,not just imaging information.Using key imaging and clinical signs will help improve their accuracy and utility tremendously.Employing strategies that consider all available evidence will be a formidable task;we believe that the combination of human and computer intelligence will be superior to either one alone.Further,unless an AI application is explainable,radiologists will not trust it to be either reliable or bias-free;we discuss some approaches aimed at providing better explanations,as well as regulatory concerns regarding explainability(“transparency”).Finally,we look at federated learning,which allows pooling data from multiple locales while maintaining data privacy to create more generalizable and reliable models,and quantum computing,still prototypical but potentially revolutionary in its computing impact.

Under this aspect, we're going to investigate, firstly, what the role of creativity is in interactions in the language class. On the other hand, the adoption of creative interaction techniques allows the group to take a new look in the face of its learning (apprenticeship), to better manage its potential. Finally, it would be interesting to propose the realization of a project of creative communication, to re-explore creativity in problem solving through the techniques of the game, giving more importance to the performance of more or less complex tasks and the development of the project in a holistic and action-oriented approach.
文摘The integration of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)into clinical education presents an opportunity to enhance medical training by providing students with a more holistic approach to patient care.This study explores the methods and challenges of integrating TCM theory into clinical internships for medical students at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.A mixed-methods approach was employed,combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with medical students,clinical instructors,and TCM practitioners.The results indicate that while students generally recognize the relevance and benefits of TCM in enhancing diagnostic skills and promoting a holistic understanding of health,several challenges remain.These include the lack of standardized TCM training,limited practical exposure to TCM diagnostic methods,and resistance from some clinical instructors.Despite these challenges,students expressed a strong desire for more structured TCM training and greater support from instructors.Based on the findings,the study recommends the standardization of TCM curricula,enhanced professional development for instructors,and increased collaboration between Western and TCM practitioners.The study concludes that the integration of TCM into medical education can significantly improve student clinical skills and patient care outcomes if appropriately structured and supported.
文摘Decision support systems(DSS)based on physically based numerical models are standard tools used by water services and utilities.However,few DSS based on holistic approaches combining distributed hydrological,hydraulic,and hydrogeological models are operationally exploited.This holistic approach was adopted for the development of the AquaVar DSS,used for water resource management in the French Mediterranean Var watershed.The year 2019 marked the initial use of the DSS in its operational environment.Over the next 5 years,multiple hydrological events allowed to test the performance of the DSS.The results show that the tool is capable of simulating peak flows associated with two extreme rainfall events(storms Alex and Aline).For a moderate flood,the real-time functionality was able to simulate forecast discharges 26 h before the flood peak,with a maximum local error of 30%.Finally,simulations for the drought period 2022-2023 highlighted the essential need for DSS to evolve in line with changing climatic conditions,which give rise to unprecedented hydrological processes.The lessons learned from these first 5 years of AquaVar use under operational conditions are synthesized,addressing various topics such as DSS modularity,evolution,data positioning,technology,and governance.
文摘April 15,2025,was the 10th National Security Education Day of China.This year marks the 10th anniversary of the promulgation of the National Security Law of the People's Republic of China(PRC).Designating April 15 as National Security Education Day marked a milestone in the PRC's history of national security and education,aimed at shoring up weaknesses in China's national security education in line with the requirements presented by domestic and international situations.It is also an effective measure to apply a holistic approach to national security towards achieving high-level security.Over the past decade,China's national security education has made substantive progress in quality and efficiency,achieving remarkable results.It has significantly enhanced the public awareness of national security,the rule of law on the national security front,the knowledge and communication systems concerning national security,and China's capacity to safeguard and shape its security.The third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China called for further deepening reform comprehensively to advance Chinese moder nization,putting for th higher requirements for national security education.On the way ahead,China should fully apply a holistic approach to national security by coordinating the following five aspects:the development of its national security education system and the strengthening of the rule of law;social education and school education;education content and education forms;intensive education and regular education;key areas and key groups.Doing so will provide a robust security guarantee for steadily advancing Chinese modernization.

文摘This paper presents a holistic multimodal approach for real-time anomaly detection and classification in largescale photovoltaic plants.The approach encompasses segmentation,geolocation,and classification of individual photovoltaic modules.A fine-tuned Yolov7 model was trained for the individual module’s segmentation of both modalities;RGB and IR images.The localization of individual solar panels relies on photogrammetric measurements to facilitate maintenance operations.The localization process also links extracted images of the same panel using their geographical coordinates and preprocesses them for the multimodal model input.The study also focuses on optimizing pre-trained models using Bayesian search to improve and fine-tune them with our dataset.The dataset was collected from different systems and technologies within our research platform.It has been curated into 1841 images and classified into five anomaly classes.Grad-CAM,an explainable AI tool,is utilized to compare the use of multimodality to a single modality.Finally,for real-time optimization,the ONNX format was used to optimize the model further for deployment in real-time.The improved ConvNext-Tiny model performed well in both modalities,with 99%precision,recall,and F1-score for binary classification and 85%for multi-class classification.In terms of latency,the segmentation models have an inference time of 14 ms and 12 ms for RGB and IR images and 24 ms for detection and classification.The proposed holistic approach includes a built-in feedback loop to ensure the model’s robustness against domain shifts in the production environment.
文摘The paper discusses mainly about the modelling process and related problems with examples from Chinese and French cases. Five practical problems must be solved for modelling the functioning of any landscape: ( 1) The field data are necessarily taken with a sampling procedure that implies a spatial (and often temporal) scale. (2) Every landscape modelled has to be identified, delimited and characterised before application of the hierarchical theory. (3) The functioning of a landscape involves data of multiple types (climate, soil, vegetation, fauna, buildings, communications, economy, aesthetics, etc.) which must be integrated in a holistic approach. (4) Every landscape is spatially heterogeneous, and the structure of the model must be more or less isomorphic with its heterogeneity. ( 5) The evolution of the landscape must be modelled on a rather long period of time. For all these reasons, it is necessary to build ad hoc models. Object-oriented computing languages may be useful for this purpose.

文摘Depression,a prevalent and complex mental health condition,presents a significant global health burden.Depression is one of the most frequent mental disorders;deaths from it account for 14.3%of people worldwide.In recent years,the integration of complementary and alternative medicine,including traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),has gained attention as a potential avenue for addressing depression.This comprehensive review critically assesses the efficacy of TCM interventions in alleviating depressive symptoms.An in-depth look at different research studies,clinical trials,and meta-analyses is used in this review to look into how TCM practices like herbal formulations,acupuncture,and mindbody practices work.The review looks at the quality of the evidence,the rigor of the methods,and any possible flaws in the current studies.This gives us an idea of where TCM stands right now in terms of treating depression.This comprehensive review aims to assess the efficacy of TCM interventions in alleviating depressive symptoms.In order to learn more about their possible healing effects,the study also looks into how different types of TCM work,such as herbal formulas,acupuncture,and mind-body practices.
文摘The field of vascular medicine has undergone a profound transformation in the 21st century,transforming our approach to assessment and treatment.Athero-sclerosis,a complex inflammatory disease that affects medium and large arteries,presents a major challenge for researchers and healthcare professionals.This condition,characterized by arterial plaque formation and narrowing,poses sub-stantial challenges to vascular health at individual,national,and global scales.Its repercussions are far-reaching,with clinical outcomes including ischemic heart disease,ischemic stroke,and peripheral arterial disease—conditions with esca-lating global prevalence.Early detection of vascular changes caused by athero-sclerosis is crucial in preventing these conditions,reducing morbidity,and averting mortality.This article underscored the imperative of adopting a holistic approach to grappling with the intricacies,trajectories,and ramifications of atherosclerosis.It stresses the need for a thorough evaluation of the vasculature and the implementation of a multidisciplinary treatment approach.By consi-dering the entire vascular system,healthcare providers can explore avenues for prevention,early detection,and effective management of this condition,ultima-tely leading to improved patient outcomes.We discussed current practices and proposed new directions made possible by emerging diagnostic modalities and treatment strategies.Additionally,we considered healthcare expenditure,resour-ce allocation,and the transformative potential of new innovative treatments and technologies.
文摘Objective To identify a method for health education using the example of an educational seminar on AIDS prevention and control at Hebei Medical University in China, 1994.Methods Our goal is the theoretical formulation of a unified community approach for problem solving through the combination of the self regulative approach and the case analytical approach. “Quality improvement”, “essential quality” and “human ecosystems” provide the basic ideas for better understanding the integration of culture, science and technology within the “cultural norm”.Results The present seminar was successfully organized for Chinese medical students based on the theme of “living with AIDS”. Through this program, we identified that self regulative and case analytical approach were major issues for holistic approach to health education. We also identified that a community approach provides the scientific basis for health education in the community.Conclusions The present paper generates a healthcare paradigm for surveillance in health/medical education. Through a better understanding of community approach, we related “community care” (emphasizing self, mutual, professional and institutional care) to the “practical norm”; and “preventive epidemiology” (emphasizing the unification of quality and quantity, as well as systems and population) to the “research norm”.
文摘Objective: Research and development for the present subject is oriented to the identification of ”new vision of Integrated Medicine” for health promotion and disease control from the viewpoint of holistic approach.Methods: The ”holistic approach” in the present study comes from ”general network approach” for unity in diversity which includes ideas, theories and methods on health culture and scientific technology. ”Essential quality” is the spirit of systems regulation for common problem solving focusing on cultural norm from the viewpoint of the recovery of humanity.Results: The new vision of Integrated Medicine is Two-in-One nature of oriental and western medicine through the unification of community medicine and community control with trinity approach on education, practice and research.Conclusions: We have tried to reevaluate the existent idea of integrated medicine through an educational seminar in Hebei, China in 1996. Based on this experience, we have identified the global vision of Integrated Medicine which includes new vision of Integrated Medicine and conventional sense of Integrated Medicine in the present study.
文摘In the new era, a holistic approach to national security entails both epistemology and methods. This approach systematically integrates and innovatively develops the scientific theories and methods developed by the Communist Party of China over the last one hundred years, with original contributions made by the concepts of “overall security” and “field security.” Overall national security is at a higher level, political in nature, and full of theoretical appeal. In contrast, field security is dynamic, oriented toward solving practical problems, and closely related to securitizing nonsecurity issues. From the three aspects of security and national security, development and security, and overall and field security,we find that overall national security and field security have a dialectical relationship between the universal and the particular, the macro and the micro, and the ordinary and the principal. Properly handling these dialectical relations will help implement the basic principles of balanced development and security and better ensure new development with a new security pattern.
