Recently, a new kind of B-cell lymphoma, named doublehit B(DHL), was characterized with an aggressive clinical cou...B cells lymphoma is one of the most challenging extrahepatic manifestations of hepatitis C virus(HCV). Recently, a new kind of B-cell lymphoma, named doublehit B(DHL), was characterized with an aggressive clinical course whereas a potential association with HCV was not investigated. The new antiviral direct agents(DAAs) against HCV are effective and curative in the majority of HCV infections. We report the first case, to our knowledge, of DHL and HCV-infection successfully treated by new DAAs. According to our experience, a DHL must be suspected in case of HCV-related lymphoma, and an early diagnosis could direct towards a different hematological management because a worse prognosis might be expected. A possible effect of DAAs on DHL regression should be investigated, but eradicating HCV would avoid life-threatening reactivation of viral hepatitis during pharmacological immunosuppression in oncohaematological diseases.展开更多

The device is divided into two parts: 1) The bullet, helmet and mould are in one system, using moment theorem to calculate the hit force; 2) The mould, sensor and support pole are in one system, using the method in reference [1] that measures the dynamic strain and displacement of simulate target of bulletproof clothes. We compute the transfigure energy and momentum energy when hitting the mould, the work done by the sensor and the expend energy of support pole. We get the hit force of helmet using energy balance principle. The result is according with the test and has been used to design the GGK93T bulletproof helmet and other serial products.展开更多

The damage effects of fluid-filled submunition payload impacted by the kinetic kill vehicle(KKV)are investigated by simulations and ground-based experiments.Numerical simulations showed that the damage level and numbe...The damage effects of fluid-filled submunition payload impacted by the kinetic kill vehicle(KKV)are investigated by simulations and ground-based experiments.Numerical simulations showed that the damage level and number of submunitions were significantly influenced by the diameter of the KKV compared with its length.Based on that,a high velocity penetrator formed by shaped charge explosion was used to simulate the direct hit experiment of a KKV impacting submunition payload.Experimental results demonstrated that the damage modes of submunitions mainly included the slight damage,perforation and total smash,showing a good agreement with the simulations.To understand the multiple damage modes of submunitions,the damage behavior of the submunitions in direct hit process were analyzed based on the AUTODYN-3D code.Numerical results presented that increased KKV diameter can increase the crater diameter and expand the damage volume,which will achieve a higher direct hit lethality.Further analysis indicated that there were other mechanical behaviors can enhance the damage to submunitions not lying in the KKV flight path,such as secondary debris kill,neighboring submunitions collision with each other,and high-speed fluid injection effect.展开更多
Plyometrics training,can improve the club speed,ball speed and the hitting distance in swinging and hitting.According to the experimental method,15 professional golfers were randomly selected as the reference object,a...Plyometrics training,can improve the club speed,ball speed and the hitting distance in swinging and hitting.According to the experimental method,15 professional golfers were randomly selected as the reference object,and 24 golfers joined the 8 weeks of plyometrics training.The conclusion was that after 8 weeks of plyometrics training,the experimental group had an increase of the club speed,ball speed and smash factor more obviously than that of the control group.Affected by training years,there is still a gap between the two and professional players.With the increase of club speed and ball speed,both groups have a certain increase in the carry length and total length.Compared to the control group,the experimental group has further hitting distance,but there are still significant differences between them affected by training years.It is suggested that during the teaching and training of golf techniques,practice of the stability of the lower limbs and the instability of the upper limbs should be increased,to improve the hitting distance.展开更多

In this study, the effects of [C], [Mn], [Si], and [V] on the yield strength and mechanism were investigated. The HRB400 D reinforced bar with a specification of 22 spiral was chosen. A narrow composition control was achieved by reducing the lower limit of the Mn content and the amount of the alloying elements; moreover, the hit ratio of the reinforced bar yield strength increased from 65.54% to 96.27%, enhancing product stability. The cost of the steel alloy reduced by 8.86 RMB/ton, improving the market competitiveness of the product.展开更多

The total reliance on internet connectivity and World Wide Web (WWW) based services is forcing many organizations to look for alternative solutions for providing adequate access and response time to the demand of thei...The total reliance on internet connectivity and World Wide Web (WWW) based services is forcing many organizations to look for alternative solutions for providing adequate access and response time to the demand of their ever increasing users. A typical solution is to increase the bandwidth;this can be achieved with additional cost, but this solution does not scale nor decrease users perceived response time. Another concern is the security of their network. An alternative scalable solution is to deploy a proxy server to provide adequate access and improve response time as well as provide some level of security for clients using the network. While some studies have reported performance increase due to the use of proxy servers, one study has reported performance decrease due to proxy server. We then conducted a six-month proxy server experiment. During this period, we collected access logs from three different proxy servers and analyzed these logs with Webalizer a web server log file analysis program. After a few years, in September 2010, we collected log files from another proxy server, analyzed the logs using Webalizer and compared our results. The result of the analysis showed that the hit rate of the proxy servers ranged between 21% - 39% and over 70% of web pages were dynamic. Furthermore clients accessing the internet through a proxy server are more secured. We then conclude that although the nature of the web is changing, the proxy server is still capable of improving performance by decreasing response time perceived by web clients and improved network security.展开更多

Khan defines anaemia as below level of Haemoglobin in red blood shown by a lower number of functioning red blood cells [2]. The crisis in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon has led to several negative effects on children’s living conditions. There has been an increase in malnutrition and anaemia in the South West Region and Kumba in particular. The main objective of this study was “to examine the prevalence of malnutrition and anaemia in children ≤ 5 years of age in some conflict-hit areas of Meme Division”. A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in 2023 from March to June. We recruited 200 children ≤ 5 years into the study from three hospitals. The regional hospital annex in Kumba, Presbyterian General Hospital Kumba and the Ntam Hospital in Kumba. Socio-demographic factors were assessed using questionnaire, nutritional status was assessed by the use anthropometric measurements and an auto haematology analyser was used to determine anaemia. The overall prevalence of malnutrition in the study area was 40.5%. The prevalence of malnutrition varied significantly (P < 0.001) with the study sites. The overall prevalence of anaemia in the study area was 70.5%. The prevalence of anaemia was not significantly associated with the study sites. The prevalence of Malnutrition and Anaemia in children ≤ 5 years of age is very high in the Kumba municipalities. This could be attributed to the ongoing crisis which has caused a lot of social migrations from rural areas to Urban areas which are safer.展开更多
