The requirement of expensive micromanipulators and skilled expertise is eliminated in this technique, proving it as a major revolution in the field of embryology. During the past years, many modifications have been incorporated in this technique to boost its efficiency. This alternative approach to micromanipulator based traditional cloning O-C) works wonder in generating comparable or even higher birth rates in addition to declining costs drastically and enabling cryopreservation. This technique is not only applicable to intraspecies nuclear transfer but also to interspecies nuclear transfer (iSCNT) thus permitting conservation of endangered species. It also offers unique possibilities for automation of SCNT which aims at production of transgenic animals that can cure certain human diseases by producing therapeutics hence, providing a healthier future for the wellbeing of humans. The present review aims at highlighting certain aspects of HMC including recent advancements in procedure and factors involved in elevating its efficiency besides covering the potentials and pitfalls of this technique展开更多

The downdraft gasifier uses charcoal or wood chip as fuel to produce the producer gas for a dryer heat source. Two steps operation of a dryer as follows: The frst was to reduce mulberry paper pulp moisture by an air vacuum pump; the second was a continuous hot air drying process. The optimum condition drying, the capacity of dryer, the fuel consumption, the drying constant (k) and economics analysis were investigated. It was found that the first step could be to reduce mulberry paper pulp moisture content about 25% and the suitable condition drying was 80 ~C drying temperature, 0.04 kg/s air mass flow rate and 0.29 m/min chain conveyor speed, respectively. The capacity of this dryer was 20 sheets per hour. The quality of mulberry paper product was very good (based on the standard of mulberry paper community 41/2546) and the fuel consumption rate was 5 kg/h (charcoal). The drying constant was about 0.532933-0.541367 min~ and the drying constant was a function of drying temperature (T), air mass flow rate (F) and conveyor speed (10 as equation of k(T, F, V) = 0.567494 + 0.000422T- 1.40588F- 0.000205 V (R2 = 0.9254) and the breakeven point of dryer was 0.79 years.展开更多

After determining that the PTP was present in the stomach, we successfully and safely removed it endoscopically by using a handmade endoscopic hood fashioned from a cut endotracheal tube. Foreign body ingestion is a common clinical problem, and most ingested foreign bodies pass spontaneously. However, the ingestion of sharp objects, such as PTPs, increases the risk of complications, and urgent endoscopy is recommended to remove such objects. Previous studies have reported the use of other devices, both commercial and handmade, for the safe endoscopic removal of foreign bodies. The novel design of our handmade hood for the removal of the PTP, which was fashioned from a cut endotracheal tube, was beneficial in terms of maintaining a wide visual field, patient safety and tolerance, and easy preparation compared to previously reported commercial and handmade devices. It may be a viable and safe device for the retrieval of PTPs and other sharp foreign bodies.展开更多

After the implementation of the "double reduction policy", compulsory education in all regions has added after-school delay services which are used to guide students in their homework, study and implement the expansion and extension of classroom teaching. For the development of education in primary school, students have less learning pressure and burden. We should make full use of after-school services, increase practical activities in combination with pupils physical and mental development laws, and develop pupils abilities. This article mainly discusses the strategy of integrating handmade courses into after-school service teaching under the background of "double reduction", hoping to make full use of after-school services and mobilize the enthusiasm of students.展开更多
