When the hopping rates of both lanes are different, the system includes six steady phases, however, when the hopping rates of both lanes are same, the seventh phase(MC, MC) will exist in the system. Interestingly, with different hopping rates of both lanes, the densities of the system cannot be influenced by the non-zero vertical transition rate. Our theoretical arguments are in well agreement with extensively performed Monte Carlo simulations.展开更多
Doping metal ions offer a promising strategy to tune the intrinsic and surface properties of BiVO_(4)for enhanced photoelectrochemical(PEC)activity.Given this,experimental and theoretical studies on cadmium(Cd)doping ...Doping metal ions offer a promising strategy to tune the intrinsic and surface properties of BiVO_(4)for enhanced photoelectrochemical(PEC)activity.Given this,experimental and theoretical studies on cadmium(Cd)doping to BiVO_(4)photoanode were studied for PEC water splitting applications.The spectroscopic and PEC results indicate that the substitution of Cd at Bi lattice sites causes the reduction in the valence state of V^(5+)to V4+that creates hole trap states below the Fermi level of BiVO_(4).The introduced hole trap states at the BiVO_(4)surface suppress the charge recombination and provide effective hole transfer sites for the facile water oxidation reactions.The CdBiVO_(4)exhibited significantly higher photocurrent compared to the pristine BiVO_(4)reaching 3.5 mA cm^(-2)(with a hole scavenger)at 1.23 V vs RHE.Furthermore,doping increases the carrier density in the bulk of BiVO_(4)leading to improved charge separation,and charge transfer while reducing the hole transfer resistance at the interface.The Cd-doped BiVO_(4)exhibited a charge separation efficiency of 80%and with a 90%of overall water splitting faradaic efficiency.Importantly,the results of this work propose the advantages of doping metal ions at Bi lattice sites in BiVO_(4)for improved PEC activity.展开更多

BACKGROUND Patients with depression following coronary heart disease often exhibit insufficient psychological resilience and self-care abilities;therefore,emphasis must be placed on nursing interventions.AIM To analyz...BACKGROUND Patients with depression following coronary heart disease often exhibit insufficient psychological resilience and self-care abilities;therefore,emphasis must be placed on nursing interventions.AIM To analyze the application value of problem-oriented education combined with nursing interventions based on the Snyder hope theory model in depressed patients after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).METHODS This study included 150 patients diagnosed with PCI postoperative depression because of coronary heart disease between February 2022 and February 2024.Participants were divided into two groups:A control group(n=75)receiving problem-oriented education and an observation group(n=75)receiving combined nursing interventions based on the Snyder hope theory model.Depression status,psychological resilience,self-care ability,and quality of life were compared between the two groups.RESULTS Before nursing interventions,there were no significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05).After the interventions,depression scores decreased while psychological resilience,self-care ability,and quality of life scores increased significantly in the observation group compared to that in the control group,with statistically significant differences noted(P<0.05).This combined approach can enhance psychological resilience,improve self-care abilities,and elevate the overall quality of life,warranting further promotion in clinical practice.CONCLUSION Combination of problem-oriented education and nursing interventions based on the Snyder hope theory model effectively alleviates depression in patients following PCI for coronary heart disease.展开更多

Methods: A total of 260 patients with diabetes from a community were selected through convenient sam...Objective: To explore the application effect of self-management based on Snyder’s hope theory in diabetic patients. Methods: A total of 260 patients with diabetes from a community were selected through convenient sampling and randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group using the random number table method, with 130 cases in each group. Five cases were lost in the experimental group, resulting in 125 effective cases, while all 130 cases in the control group were effective. The control group received standard lectures on diabetes self-management behavior and traditional approaches, such as the distribution of educational manuals. The experimental group underwent a self-management behavior intervention program for diabetic patients based on Snyder’s hope theory model, encompassing three components: goals, pathways, and motivational thinking. The levels of hope and self-management behavior were compared between the two groups. Results: After the intervention, the scores for hope levels and self-management behaviors in both groups were significantly higher than those recorded before the intervention (P < 0.05). Furthermore, the hope level and self-management behavior scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The application of Snyder’s hope theory model in diabetic patients demonstrates significant benefits, improving patients’ hope levels and, consequently, enhancing their self-management behaviors.展开更多
Background:Interpersonal alienation has increasingly been recognized as a salient risk factor affecting university students’psychological adjustment and life satisfaction.Guided by Social Identity and Self-Categoriza...Background:Interpersonal alienation has increasingly been recognized as a salient risk factor affecting university students’psychological adjustment and life satisfaction.Guided by Social Identity and Self-Categorization theories,this study examines how alienation influences life satisfaction through the mediating roles of social identity and hope.Methods:This study surveyed 492 Taiwan Region of China undergraduate students(53.7 percent female,mean age 21.08 years)from 60 universities using convenience sampling in May 2023.Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed via faculty-managed teaching media platforms.Measures included perceived social identity,state hope,interpersonal alienation,and life satisfaction.All instrumentswere adapted from validated scales,translated into traditional Chinese through back-translation,and reviewed by experts to ensure content validity and cultural relevance.Statistical analyses were conducted using SPSS 20 and SmartPLS 4.0.Results:Harman’s single-factor test indicated no significant common method bias.Measurement model analyses demonstrated satisfactory reliability,convergent validity,and absence of multicollinearity.All four hypothesized paths were supported:interpersonal alienation negatively predicted life satisfaction,with perceived social identity and hope serving as individual and sequential mediators.The model explained 10.5%of the variance in social identity,25.3%in hope,and 49.6%in life satisfaction.Group comparisons revealed that male students reported significantly higher hope and life satisfaction than females,and first-year students experienced greater alienation than upper-level peers.Conclusion:This study elucidates how interpersonal alienation undermines life satisfaction among university students and highlights the protective roles of social identity and hope.Findings underscore the importance of fostering psychological resources that promote resilience and well-being.The results offer practical implications for designing educational programs that enhance students’sense of belonging,optimism,and emotional strength.These insights contribute to a deeper theoretical understanding of the mechanisms linking alienation and life satisfaction and inform strategies to support student adaptation and flourishing in higher education.展开更多
