The residual oil in the fluvial reservoir of Gudong Oilfield is still widely developed even after decades of development.In order to explore the remaining oil in the subsurface fluvial reservoir,we need to have a bett...The residual oil in the fluvial reservoir of Gudong Oilfield is still widely developed even after decades of development.In order to explore the remaining oil in the subsurface fluvial reservoir,we need to have a better understanding on fluvial sandbody characteristics.This paper aims to demonstrate how to quantify anatomy on meandering fluvial architecture.Sedimentologic data from core descriptions of Guantao Formation in Gudong Oilfield were used to identify architectural elements.The upper Guantao Formation consists of ten lithofacies composing five different types of architectural elements.By integrating the available core,well logs,and seismic data,the fluvial sandbody distribution was analyzed.To characterize the fluvial channel geomorphology,we used seismic inversion to explore the stratigraphic correlation and stacking patterns of different channels,and the sandbody isopach map was obtained by the sandbody thickness in each layer.The architectural elements distribution in the plane was mapped by the sandbody isopach map and its profile characteristics.According to the investigation of meandering fluvial outcrops,subsurface meandering fluvial seismic geomorphology,and modern river morphology,the upstream-bar portions are always eroded because of the downstream channel migration.Statistics on the morphometric parameters(bar width/looplength,upstream deflection angle,downstream deflection angle,etc.)of modern meandering river(Ob River)were obtained from the Google Earth.It is found that the bar width/looplength and upstream deflection angle,upstream deflection angle and downstream deflection angle in modern meandering river have a good relationship,and we can have a quantitative architectural characterization on the point bar.This study quantified lithofacies thickness and proportion in different architectural elements of Guantao Formation,which ensures a high resolution anatomy on the small scale architecture.By using this method,the lithofacies proportion in each architectural element was computed,and through the statistics of architectural elements proportion in the Gudong Oilfield,the different lithofacies proportions in the block 6 can be computed.展开更多

According to the comprehensive analysis of seism data, well log, core observation and experimental data, this kind of clastic rock is composed of pebblestone-cobblestone, microconglomerate, sand conglomerate, medium-coarse grained sandstone and fine-sandstone. According to the clast composition, sedimentary texture, structure and rock type, 3 kinds of sediment facies can be recognized ie the mixed accumulation-conglomerate dominated debris flow, pebblestone-cobblestone dominated gradient flow and sandstone dominated braided stream. Vertically, the bottom gradient current deposit and top braided stream deposit form fining-upward sediment sequence, and the debris flow deposit distributes in them at random. The sedimentary feature of coarse grain clastic of Guantao formation in Shuyi area is accordant with proximal wet alluvial fan deposited in wet climate at foreland and this kind of alluvial fan is different from the traditional one.展开更多
To ensure the long-term and sustainable development and utilization of geothermal resources,the extracted geothermal water should be reinjected.Considering Guantao Formation in the Dezhou Area,the geothermal reinjecti...To ensure the long-term and sustainable development and utilization of geothermal resources,the extracted geothermal water should be reinjected.Considering Guantao Formation in the Dezhou Area,the geothermal reinjection process is analyzed through experimental and numerical modeling.Numerical analysis suggests that the reinjectionflow only has a strong influence on the reservoir pressure over a relatively narrow range,whereas the range over which this process has a weak influence exceeds 500 m.Assuming that the reinjection well is full,a reinjectionflow rate of 50-100 m^(3)/h can theoretically be achieved without additional pressure.Experimental modeling of geothermal exploitation and reinjection suggests that sandstone reservoirs with good porosity and permeability should be selected to lower the reinjection pressure of geothermal reservoir projects.In real geothermal reinjection processes,the reinjectionflow rate should be carefully determined to prevent excessive pressure in sandstone reservoirs and ensure long-term stable and efficient reinjection.The Huaneng Geothermal Project has been operating for 2 years,and there has been no significant change in the outlet temperature and reinjection pressure of the geothermal wells.This is generally consistent with the modeling results,demonstrating the accuracy of the exploitation and reinjection modeling analysis.An efficient reinjection scheme for sandstone geothermal reservoirs is developed based on the Huaneng Dezhou Geothermal Heating Project,in which the total reinjection rate is approximately 99.1%.Based on our experimental and numerical modeling,no significant temperature and pressure changes will happen for at least 5 years at the present exploitation and reinjection pressure and amount.展开更多
