CHGS method for numerical forecasting of typhoon waves-Ⅰ. Spectrum of waves in growing phase

Owing to the fact that the wind speed and direction of typhoon vary rapidly with time and space in typhoon fetch; the nearer to the typhoon eye the greater the wind velocity, and the shorter the wind fetch the smaller the wind time,as a result,the more difficult for the wind wave to fully grow. Hence.in typhoon wave numerical calculation it is impossible to use the model for a fully grown wave spectrum. Lately, the author et at. presented a CHGS method for numerical forecasting of typhoon waves, where a model for the growing wave spectrum was set up (see Eq. (2) in the text). The model involves a parameter indicating the growing degree of wind wave, i. e. ,the mean wave age β. When βvalue is small, the wave energy is chiefly concentrated near the peak frequency, so that the spectral peak gets high and steep; with the increase of β the spectral shape gradually gets lower and gentler; when β=Ⅰ, the wave fully grows, the growing spectrum becomes a fully grown P-M spectrum. The model also shows a spectral “overshooting” phenomenon within the “balance zone”. 展开更多

The physiology(membrane integrity,intracellular esterase and redox activity)of individual pathogenic bacteria is various in different growing phase,which has a profound significance for food safety testing and control.In this work,the aptamers against B.cereus in different growing phase was firstly selected based on whole bacterium-SELEX screening approach.Out of 32 candidate aptamers screened,aptamer B15 and B16 showed relatively high binding affinity with an apparent dissociation constant(Kd value)of 16.134.98 nM and 20.675.23 nM,respectively.A label-free impedance based aptasensor was further fabricated based on the screened aptamer,immobilized onto the GCE/Au surface.With the addition of B.cereus,the electron transfer process was prevented and exhibited a significant decrease in the electron-transfer resistance.Under optimal conditions,the fabricated aptasensor can achieve high sensitive detection of B.cereus as low as 10 cfu/mL.A satisfactory recovery of 90.5%–105.3%was achieved for the B.cereus detection in spiked milk samples,exhibiting its prospect in the sensitive detection of B.cereus in daily life. 展开更多

During the developing phase of central Pacific El Nio(CPEN), more frequent TC genesis over the northwest quadrant of the western North Pacific(WNP) is attributed to the horizontal shift of environmental vorticity field.Such a northwestward shift resembles the La Nia composite, even though factors that cause the shift differ(in the La Nia case the relative humidity effect is crucial). Greater reduction of TC frequency over WNP happened during the decaying phase of eastern Pacific El Nio(EPEN) than CPEN, due to the difference of the anomalous Philippine Sea anticyclone strength. The TC genesis exhibits an upward(downward) trend over the northern(southern) part of the WNP,which is linked to SST and associated circulation changes through local and remote effects. 展开更多
