In recent years,the network public opinion reversal governance events have occurred frequently.Over time,the repeated truth of the matter will not only weaken the rational judgment of the public to a certain extent,so that its negative emotions accumulate,but also have a serious impact on the credibility of the media and the government,and may even further intensify social contradictions.Therefore,in the face of such a complex online public opinion space,accurately identifying the truth behind the incident and how to carry out the reversal of online public opinion governance is particularly critical.And blockchain technology,with its advantages of decentralization and immutable information,provides new technical support for the network public opinion reversal governance.Based on this,this paper gives an overview and analysis of blockchain technology and network public opinion reversal,and on this basis introduces the network public opinion reversal governance mechanism based on blockchain technology,aiming to further optimize the network public opinion reversal governance process,for reference only. 展开更多

Ensuring food safety while reducing agricultural non-point source pollution is quite challenging,especially in developing and underdeveloped countries.Effective systematic strategies and comprehensive technologies need to be developed for agricultural non-point source pollution control at the watershed scale to improve surface water quality.In this review,a proposal is made for a full time-space governance strategy that prioritizes source management followed by endpoint water pollution control.The 4R chain technology system is specifically reviewed,including source reduction,process retention,nutrient reuse and water restoration.The 4R chain technology system with the full time-space governance strategy was applied at the scale of an administrative village and proved to be a feasible solution for reducing agricultural non-point source pollution in China.In the future,a monitoring system needs to be established to trace N and P transport.Additionally,new smart fertilizer and intelligent equipment need to be developed,and relevant governance standards and supportive policies need to be set to enhance the efficacy of agricultural non-point source pollution control. 展开更多

On the‘ENGO+focal firm’governance strategies of pollution of small and medium suppliers

Presently,the environmental pollution problem,especially that of the small and medium-sized enterprises,has become a bottleneck restricting the high-quality development of China’s economy.It is imperative to accelerate the construction of a collaborative governance system with multiple subject participation.The behavior modes of Environmental Non-governmental Organizations(ENGOs),a key player in environmental care,in collaborating with core enterprises to control pollution from small and medium-sized suppliers should be explored.Therefore,we constructed a collaborative governance system consisting of ENGOs,focal firms and small and medium-sized suppliers.Then a two-stage game model was established to analyze the strategies of the governance system.Specifically,we studied the collaborative green cooperation strategy and antagonistic pressure supervision strategy between ENGOs and focal firms,analyzed factors influencing the strategic choices of each subject,and gave the advantages of the cooperation strategies through further comparisons.The results showed that:Under the cooperation strategy,ENGOs provided knowledge of environmental protection to the focal firms,then both the audit efforts of focal firms and the environmental protection efforts of small and medium-sized suppliers were effectively improved.Since ENGOs could not fully obtain the pollution information of small and medium-sized suppliers or accurately trace it from their downstream focal firms,it was difficult to drive the supply chain’s endogenous governance by this external monitoring of ENGOs,making the effect of pressure supervision strategy limited.The effectiveness of green cooperation strategy was positively correlated with the knowledge absorption capacity of focal firms,the unit product revenue,and the focal firms'violation penalties for small and medium-sized suppliers.When ENGOs'violation penalties for small and medium-sized suppliers were higher,or the reputation loss of focal firms was higher,more unfavorable conditions of green cooperation strategy could be achieved.Accordingly,ENGOs should choose to cooperate with focal firms with strong knowledge absorption ability and high profit per product;focal firms should learn environmental protection knowledge to improve the screening standards and review capabilities,and promote the achievement of green cooperation strategy conditions by strengthening active information disclosure;the government should promote the collaboration between ENGOs and focal firms by issuing environmental guidelines. 展开更多

With the profound changes taking place in the international power structure and the accelerated changes occurring in the world that have not been seen in a century,the discord between China and the United States(US)in the realm of global governance is becoming increasingly prominent.Moreover,the raging COVID-19 pandemic has aggravated the divergences between the two countries in terms of global governance strategy.Since the end of World War II,although the diplomatic strategies of the US and their implementation have varied from administration to administration,such strategies have generally been defined by the US desire for hegemony in global governance.China’s engagement in global governance,by contrast,has undergone twists and turns,and its strategies and policies have kept pace with the times,which has gradually led to a global governance strategy that highlights extensive consultation,joint contribution,and shared benefits.The divergences between China and the US in terms of global governance strategy are embodied in governance values,areas,and approaches,relations among governance entities,and balance between national and global governance,which have resulted mainly from the two countries’different cultural backgrounds,historical traditions,realistic goals,and national strength.In the context of intensifying competition among major countries today,these strategic divergences between China and the US have exerted a profound impact on global governance cooperation and the reform of the global governance system,and exacerbated the fragmentation of global governance and the competition over leadership.Therefore,a comparison of the global governance strategies pursued by China and the US will help enhance mutual understanding,avoid confrontation and conflict,properly manage disagreements,and promote a healthy and stable development of bilateral relations between China and the US. 展开更多

The uniqueness and integrity of water ecology in the Yangtze River Basin is of great significance for maintaining global ecological balance.Understanding the historical evolution of water ecology pattern in the Yangtze River Basin over the past century is imperative for improving the comprehensive river basin management and promoting sustainable development.In this paper,the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of the water ecology pattern in the Yangtze River Basin over the past century are quantitatively analyzed in aspects of lake wetlands,material flux and aquatic biological populations.Then,by a perspective of social-ecological system,the evolution process of the water ecology pattern in the Yangtze River Basin over the past century is divided into four sequential stages based on the change of interactions between social-ecological system components.The driving factors and their mechanism on evolution process of the water ecology pattern in the Yangtze River Basin at different stages are revealed respectively.Based on the integrity of the ecosystem and the system-aticity of the basin,it proposes strategies for the governance and protection of the Yangtze River Basin’s water ecology,in-cluding constructing a“natural-engineering”coupling governance system,strengthening species conservation and habitat restoration,developing green and ecological circular agriculture,and promoting the urban“water operator”mode.These strategies aim to promote harmonious coexistence between humans and nature and provide reference and guidance for high-quality development and high-level protection of major rivers around the world. 展开更多
