文摘Objective:To explore the impact of evidence-based predictive nursing intervention on psychological stress and physiological indicator stability of elderly cataract patients during the perioperative period(1 day before surgery to 1 day after surgery),and to provide a basis for optimizing clinical nursing plans for elderly cataract surgery. Methods:A retrospective selection of 90 elderly patients(aged≥60 years)who underwent cataract surgery in the Ophthalmology Department of our hospital from August 2024 to December 2024 was conducted. They were divided into an observation group(n=45)and a control group(n=45)using a random number table method. The control group received routine nursing for cataract surgery, while the observation group implemented evidence-based predictive nursing intervention(including the establishment of a multidisciplinary evidence-based team, hierarchical psychological intervention, perioperative environment optimization, intraoperative personalized cooperation, and video-based health education).Psychological stress indicators[Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES)]on the 1st day before surgery and 1st day after surgery, and fluctuations of physiological indicators[Heart Rate(HR),Systolic Blood Pressure(SBP),Diastolic Blood Pressure(DBP)]on the 1st day before surgery and during surgery were compared between the two groups. Results:Before intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in SAS,SDS,GSES scores,HR,SBP,or DBP between the two groups(p>0.05);after intervention, the SAS score(33.62±5.72)and SDS score(32.14±4.86)of the observation group on the 1st day after surgery were significantly lower than those of the control group[(41.05±5.56),(43.59±4.75)],and the GSES score(31.15±3.28)was significantly higher than that of the control group(24.84±3.52)(all p<0.05);during surgery, the fluctuations of HR(74.0±6.0)beats/min,SBP(127.0±15.8)mmHg,and DBP(75.0±5.9)mmHg in the observation group were significantly smaller than those in the control group(all p<0.05).Conclusion:Evidence-based predictive nursing intervention can effectively alleviate anxiety and depression in elderly cataract patients during the perioperative period, improve self-efficacy,stabilize intraoperative physiological status, and enhance surgical cooperation, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
文摘Objectives This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of the semi-virtual simulation and traditional simulation teaching models based on the Standards of Best Practice(SOBP)according to the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning(INACSL)in the Adult Nursing course. Methods This study used a quasi-experimental design.A total of 94 third-year nursing students from a university in Beijing between November and December 2022 were recruited as participants. An innovative semi-virtual simulation teaching model was designed based on the SOBP established by the INACSL.In the Adult Nursing course, both the semi-virtual and traditional simulation teaching models were implemented. At the end of the simulation sessions, participants completed the Chinese version of the Simulation Effectiveness Tool-Modified(SET-M)to assess the effectiveness of the two teaching models. Results All nursing students completed the simulation sessions. There was no difference(t=−0.93,P=0.353)in the total scores between the semi-virtual simulation teaching model(50.87±5.30)and the traditional simulation teaching model(50.37±5.16).However,there was a statistically significant difference(t=−2.65,P=0.010)in the prebriefing section(semi-virtual simulation:5.60±0.71;traditional simulation:5.33±0.78).In contrast,no statistically significant differences were found for the scenario and debriefing sections(P>0.05).At the individual item level, statistical differences(P<0.05)between the two models were identified for items 1 and 9,but not for the remaining items(P>0.05).By analyzing the open-ended question,it was found that both simulation models were effective, and students’comments were similar. Conclusions The study demonstrated equivalent effectiveness between the semi-virtual and traditional simulation teaching models.Semi-virtual simulation teaching model could offer a more flexible and feasible approach to simulation teaching.
文摘Recently, inflammatory cytokine profiles have been linked to suicide risk in adolescents with non-suicidal self-injury,highlighting a promising biological dimension of suicide risk assessment.Clinical translation of the cytokine profiles into practice will require frontline engagement of the workforce.Mental health nurses are frequently the most accessible professionals in schools, communities, and low-resource settings and are prime candidates to bridge this gap.By integrating psychosocial evaluation with emerging biomarker data, they can deliver systematic risk assessment, continuous monitoring, and timely intervention. This role would not replace psychiatric expertise;it would extend the reach of psychiatric services, embedding suicide prevention across the continuum of care. For health systems,nurse-led integration may enhance capacity, equity, and resilience in responding to adolescent suicide risk. This editorial demonstrates that empowering nurses to operationalize biomarker-informed strategies is needed for advancing effective and sustainable suicide prevention in this vulnerable population.

文摘BACKGROUND Gastrointestinal(GI)tumors are among the most prevalent malignancies, and surgical intervention remains a primary treatment modality. However, the complexity of GI surgery often leads to prolonged recovery and high postoperative complication rates, which threaten patient safety and functional outcomes.Enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)principles have been shown to improve perioperative outcomes through evidence-based,multidisciplinary care pathways.Despite its widespread adoption, there is a paucity of research focusing specifically on optimizing ERAS-guided nursing processes in the post-anesthesia care unit(PACU)and evaluating its impact on perioperative safety in patients undergoing GI tumor surgery. This study aimed to investigate whether an ERASbased PACU nursing protocol could enhance recovery, reduce complications, and improve patient safety in this surgical population.AIM To explore the impact of optimizing the recovery room nursing process based on ERAS on the perioperative safety of patients with GI tumors.METHODS A total of 260 patients with GI tumors who underwent elective surgeries under general anesthesia in our hospital from August 2023 to August 2025 and were then observed in the recovery unit(PACU)were selected. They were randomly divided into the observation group(the PACU nursing process was optimized based on ERAS)and the control group(the conventional PACU nursing process was adopted)by the random number grouping method, with 130 cases in each group. The time of gastric tube removal, urinary catheter removal, defecation time, hospital stay, time of leaving the room after tube removal, retention time in the recovery room, occurrence of complications, satisfaction and readmission rate were compared between the two groups after entering the room.Compare the occurrence of adverse events in the PACU nursing process between the two groups.RESULTS The time of gastric tube removal, urinary catheter removal, defecation time, hospital stay, retention time in the recovery room, total incidence of complications and readmission rate in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the satisfaction rate was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The occurrence of adverse events in the PACU nursing process in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Optimizing the PACU nursing process based on ERAS can effectively accelerate the recovery process of patients undergoing GI tumor surgery, reduce adverse events, improve nursing satisfaction, and at the same time, lower the incidence of adverse events in the PACU nursing process, providing a more refined management basis for clinical practice.
文摘Objective:To explore the impact of systematic stepwise rehabilitation nursing intervention on the prognosis and disease uncertainty of patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage, and to provide feasible strategies for clinical nursing. Methods:Eighty patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to June 2025 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group(n=40,receiving systematic stepwise rehabilitation nursing)and a control group(n=40,receiving conventional nursing). The intervention effects were analyzed by comparing changes in the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)scores for neurological recovery,Short Form 36 Health Survey(SF-36)scores for quality of life,Exercise of Self-Care Agency Scale(ESCA)scores for self-management ability, compliance, and the Mishel Uncertainty in Illness Scale(MUIS)scores between the two groups. Results:All scores in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group after the intervention(p<0.05).Specifically,the NIHSS scores decreased more significantly, the total SF-36 scores increased, the ESCA scores increased significantly, while the MUIS scores decreased significantly, and compliance improved markedly, indicating a reduction in disease uncertainty among patients. Conclusion:Systematic stepwise rehabilitation nursing intervention can significantly improve neurological recovery, quality of life,self-management ability, and compliance in patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage, while effectively reducing disease uncertainty. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
文摘Objective:To analyze the impact of nursing interventions based on quantitative assessment using the Kano model on the quality of rehabilitation in patients with early-stage ovarian cancer following laparoscopic radical surgery. Methods:A prospective clinical study was conducted involving 96 patients with newly diagnosed early-stage ovarian cancer who underwent laparoscopic radical surgery from December 2023 to December 2025.Patients were randomly assigned to groups using a random number table method before surgery. After surgery, the control group(n=48)received routine quantitative assessment nursing interventions, while the observation group(n=48)received nursing interventions based on quantitative assessment using the Kano model. Both groups received continuous nursing care until discharge.Differences between the groups were compared in terms of negative emotions, quality of life scores before and after postoperative intervention, postoperative recovery indicators, and nursing satisfaction evaluations on the day of discharge. Results:After intervention, the observation group had lower scores on the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),as well as shorter recovery times for gastrointestinal function and food intake, and a shorter hospital stay compared to the control group.Additionally, the observation group had higher scores on the Quality-of-Life Instrument for Cancer Patients-Ovarian Cancer(QLICP-OV)than the control group, with statistically significant differences(p<0.05).The overall satisfaction with nursing care in the observation group was also higher than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(p<0.05).Conclusion:Implementing quantitative evaluation nursing interventions based on the Kano model for patients with early-stage ovarian cancer after laparoscopic radical surgery can,by addressing their postoperative basic health, disease awareness, and other intervention content needs to a comprehensive degree, actively promote postoperative recovery and improve their mental health and quality of life.
文摘Objective:To analyze the impact of maternal-infant separation on the physical and mental state of high-risk pregnancy patients and explore the clinical efficacy of targeted nursing interventions. Methods:A total of 80 high-risk pregnancy patients treated in our hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the study subjects. These patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group(40 cases each)using a random number table. The control group received routine high-risk pregnancy nursing care, while the observation group received specialized maternal-infant separation nursing interventions in addition to routine care. The psychological and physiological states and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared before and after the intervention. Results:The SAS scores,SDS scores, and sleep quality scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(p<0.05).The incidence of postpartum hemorrhage in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the initiation time of lactation was significantly earlier than that in the control group, with both differences being statistically significant(p<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(80%vs.32/40),with a statistically significant difference(p<0.05).Conclusion:Maternal-infant separation exacerbates anxiety and depression in high-risk pregnancy patients, reduces sleep quality, increases the risk of postpartum hemorrhage, and delays the initiation of lactation.Specialized nursing interventions for maternal-infant separation can improve the physical and mental state of high-risk pregnancy patients, reduce the incidence of postpartum complications, and enhance nursing satisfaction, making them worthy of clinical application and promotion.
文摘Background:In mental health, recovery is emphasized, and qualitative analyses of service users’narratives have accumulated;however, while qualitative approaches excel at capturing rich context and generating new concepts, they are limited in generalizability and feasible data volume. This study aimed to quantify the subjective life history narratives of users of psychiatric home-visit nursing using natural language processing(NLP)and to clarify the relationships between linguistic features and recovery-related indicators. Methods:We conducted audio-recorded and transcribed semi-structured interviews on daily life verbatim and collected self-report questionnaires(Recovery Assessment Scale[RAS])and clinician ratings(Global Assessment of Functioning[GAF])from Japanese users of psychiatric home-visit nursing.Using the artificial intelligence-based topic-modeling method BERTopic,we extracted topics from the interview texts and calculated each participant’s topic proportions, and then examined associations between topic proportions and recovery-related indicators using Pearson correlation analyses. Results:“School”showed a significant positive correlation with RAS(r=0.39,p=0.05),whereas“Family”showed a significant negative correlation(r=–0.46,p=0.02).GAF was positively correlated with word count(r=0.44,p=0.02)and“Hospital”(r=0.42,p=0.03),and negatively correlated with“Backchannels”(aizuchi)(r=–0.41,p=0.03).Conclusion:The present results suggest that the quantity, quality, and content of narratives can serve as useful indicators of mental health and recovery, and that objective NLP-based analysis of service users’narratives can complement traditional self-report scales and clinician ratings to inform the design of recovery-oriented care in psychiatric home-visit nursing.
