These principles describe the visual language within which we work. Understanding how a designer realizes things visually will help designers communicate better. Many designers use Gestalt principles to have a structure visual stimulus, so as to create interfaces that are easy for users to understand. Because the understanding of visual perception is a critical item in any designer’s toolkit. Islamic heritage buildings also contain many architectural values, especially the Sultan Hassan Mosque in Cairo. Through this paper, we will verify the use of gestalt principles of visual perception in the building design. Because the psychological organization of the design, achieves the understanding and awareness of the current relationships between the elements, depending on the extent of regularity, accuracy, and consistency of the design elements. This makes us recognize the esthetic values of Sultan Hassan’s building and mosque. The visual delight we get from architecture begins with how we perceive it. So, in order to understand how visual delight arises, we must first understand how we perceive and interpret visual stimuli. Especially since the principles of gestalt confirm that the human brain tends to make tricks and illusions. Therefore, we found the mosque designer had exploited this fact during the design process, to exclude any possibility of the resulting misunderstanding. The designer achieved the psychological preparation of the visitor by using some principles of visual perception of the Gestalt theory, such as growth, continuity, and hierarchy.展开更多

However, the extraction of contour is a difficult task, especially when the contour is incomplete or unclosed. In this paper, the existing contour detection approaches are reviewed and roughly divided into three categories： pixel-based, edge-based, and region-based. In addition, since the traditional contour detection approaches have achieved a high degree of sophistication, the deep convolutional neural networks （DCNNs） have good performance in image recognition, therefore, the DCNNs based contour detection approaches are also covered in this paper. Since petrol price grows constantly and people become more environmentally conscious, people have shown their numerous interests on the NEV. A lot of previous studies have paid more attention on vehicle itself, such as the high technology of the in-car assistance systems, and the pros and cons of electricity as a new energy for vehicle. However, the quality of vehicle should not only be limited to these aspects. Therefore, in this study, author focus more on the relationship between the vehicle and users and gives a brief introduction of some user interface problems through investigating one of the top selling types of NEV, Han EV belonging to BYD company, in terms of Standardize symbol, Gestalt grouping principles, Design of Visual display, Working memory and attention. Since there are many sources of unconscious information in our minds,there is a possibility that multiple channels of unconscious information can affect a response at the same time.However,this question has been large...Since there are many sources of unconscious information in our minds,there is a possibility that multiple channels of unconscious information can affect a response at the same time.However,this question has been largely ignored by researchers.In the present study,we presented two opposite pointing arrows as the masked primes followed by a target arrow.The results suggested that the two directions in which the two prime arrows are pointing influenced the response to the target simultaneously and additively,that is,the overall priming effect caused by the two opposite pointing prime arrows was equal to the net effect of the individual congruent effect elicited by the same pointing prime arrow and the individual incongruent priming effect induced by the prime arrow poitning in the opposite direction.In addition,in Experiment 1,a biased delayed response to the target was observed when the target arrow and the opposite pointing prime arrow were closely positioned in space due to Gestalt continuity and closure grouping.According to these results,the“independent unconscious influence”and“reverse unconscious selection”hypotheses are proposed.展开更多
