Generalized Space Shift Keying(GSSK)modulation is a low-complexity spatial nmltiplexing technique for nmltiple-antenna wireless systems.However,effective transmit antenna combinations have to be preselected,and there ...Generalized Space Shift Keying(GSSK)modulation is a low-complexity spatial nmltiplexing technique for nmltiple-antenna wireless systems.However,effective transmit antenna combinations have to be preselected,and there exist redundant antenna combinations which are not used in GSSK.In this paper,a novel adaptive mapping scheme for GSSK modulation,named as Adaptive Mapping Generalized Space Shift Keying(AMGSSK),is presented.Compared with GSSK,the antenna combinations are updated adaptively according to the Channel State Inforrmtion(CSI)in the proposed AMGSSK system,and the perfonrance of average Symbol Error Rate(SER)is reduced considerably.In the proposed scheme,two algorithrrs for selecting the optimum antenna combinations are described.The SER perfonmnce of AMGSSK is analyzed theoretically,and validated by Monte Carlo sinmlation.It is shown that the proposed AMGSSK scheme has good perfonmnce in SER and spectral efficiency.展开更多

Active Magnetic Bearing(AMB)levitates rotor by magnetic force without friction,and it can provide active control force to suppress vibration while rotating.Most of vibration suppressing methods need angular speed sens...Active Magnetic Bearing(AMB)levitates rotor by magnetic force without friction,and it can provide active control force to suppress vibration while rotating.Most of vibration suppressing methods need angular speed sensors to obtain rotating speed,but in many occasions,angular speed sensor is difficult to install or is difficult to guarantee reliability.This paper proposed a vibration suppressing strategy without angular speed sensor based on generalized integrator and frequency locked loop(GI-FLL)and phase shift generalized integrator(PSGI).GI-FLL and high-pass filter estimate frequency from control current,PSGI is applied to generate compensating signal.Firstly,model of AMB system expressed by transfer function is established and effect of centrifugal force is analyzed.Then,principle and process of vibration suppressing strategy is introduced.Influence of parameters are analyzed by root locus and bode diagram.Simulation results display the process of frequency estimation and performance of displacement.Experiments are carried on a test rig,results of simulations and experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed vibration suppressing strategy.展开更多

This paper presents a methodology which determines the allocation of power demand among the committed generating units while minimizes number of objectives as well as meets physical and technological system constraint...This paper presents a methodology which determines the allocation of power demand among the committed generating units while minimizes number of objectives as well as meets physical and technological system constraints. The procedure considers two decoupled problems based upon the dependency of their goals on either active power or reactive power generation. Both the problems have been solved sequentially to achieve optimal allocation of active and reactive power generation while minimizes operating cost, gaseous pollutants emission objectives and active power transmission loss with consideration of system operating constraints along with generators prohibited operating zones and transmission line flow limits. The active and reactive power line flows are obtained with the help of generalized generation shift distribution factors (GGDF) and generalized Z-bus distribution factors (GZBDF), respectively. First problem is solved in multi-objective framework in which the best weights assigned to objectives are determined while employing weighting method and in second problem, active power loss of the system is minimized subject to system constraints. The validity of the proposed method is demonstrated on 30-bus IEEE power system.展开更多
