A method to evaluate the influence of the laser linewidth on the linearly frequency-modulated(LFM)signals generated by heterodyning two free-running laser diodes(LDs)is proposed.The Pearson correlation coefficient between the instantaneous frequency of the generated LFM signal and that of an ideal LFM signal is introduced to quantify the quality of the generated LFM signal.The closed-form solution of the correlation coefficient is given,which shows that the correlation coefficient is determined by the ratio of the LFM signal bandwidth to the square root of the total linewidth of the two LDs when the observation interval is fixed.Simulation results are also given,which proves the correctness of the theoretical results. 展开更多

Performance issue monitoring, identification and diagnosis of SaaS software:a survey

It has a high requirement for QoS (Quality of Software) due to its method of providing software service. However, manual identification and diagnosis for performance issues is typically expensive and laborious because of the complexity of the application software and the dynamic nature of the deployment environment. Recently, substantial research efforts have been devoted to automatically identifying and diagnosing performance issues of SaaS software. In this survey, we comprehensively review the different methods about automatically identifying and diagnosing performance issues of SaaS software. We divide them into three steps according to their function: performance log generation, performance issue identification and performance issue diagnosis. We then comprehensively review these methods by their development history. Meanwhile, we give our proposed solution for each step. Finally, the effectiveness of our proposed methods is shown by experiments. 展开更多

Formic acid(FA) dehydrogenation has attracted a lot of attentions since it is a convenient method for H_2 production. In this work, we designed a self-supporting fuel cell system, in which H_2 from FA is supplied into the fuel cell, and the exhaust heat from the fuel cell supported the FA dehydrogenation. In order to realize the system, we synthesized a highly active and selective homogeneous catalyst Ir Cp*Cl_2 bpym for FA dehydrogenation. The turnover frequency(TOF) of the catalyst for FA dehydrogenation is as high as7150 h^(-1)at 50°C, and is up to 144,000 h^(-1)at 90°C. The catalyst also shows excellent catalytic stability for FA dehydrogenation after several cycles of test. The conversion ratio of FA can achieve 93.2%, and no carbon monoxide is detected in the evolved gas. Therefore, the evolved gas could be applied in the proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC) directly. This is a potential technology for hydrogen storage and generation. The power density of the PEMFC driven by the evolved gas could approximate to that using pure hydrogen. 展开更多

Initial allocation modes and schemes are studied in this paper to provide guidelines for allocation of carbon emission permits in power system. We first introduce different allocation modes and the need to apply free allocation to assignability of emission permits. Then, we compare two different allocation schemes, which are based on historical emissions and generation performance standard. Further, a new allocation scheme based on Boltzmann distribution is proposed. Finally, a case study on Shanghai power grid in China is conducted to compare the allocation effects of these schemes respectively. The analytical results show that Boltzmann distribution based scheme has the best performance and should be adopted when developing initial allocation of carbon emission permits in Chinese power systems. 展开更多
