为解决基于机器视觉的茶鲜叶分级输送速度控制精度低的问题,本文设计一种引入自适应权重与Circle混沌映射的PSO优化模糊PID控制器(AW-CPSO-Fuzzy-PID),并开展基于改进模糊PID的茶鲜叶分级输送速度控制。在茶鲜叶输送传动系统作业过程中... 为解决基于机器视觉的茶鲜叶分级输送速度控制精度低的问题,本文设计一种引入自适应权重与Circle混沌映射的PSO优化模糊PID控制器(AW-CPSO-Fuzzy-PID),并开展基于改进模糊PID的茶鲜叶分级输送速度控制。在茶鲜叶输送传动系统作业过程中,当设定输送速度为78.5 mm/s时,每1 ms记录一次,输送速度波动可控制在0.7 mm/s内;改进模糊PID茶鲜叶输送传动系统响应时间比传统PID与模糊PID分别减少81.41%、61.74%;超调量分别降低81.24%、41.82%;采集目标图像平均峰值信噪比分别提高5.8、10.4 dB。结果表明,本文提出的方法具有更好的寻优性能和收敛速度。研究结果为基于机器视觉的茶鲜叶自动分级系统精确而稳定的控制奠定了理论基础,为解决由输送速度波动导致的图像模糊问题提供了技术方案。 展开更多

为解决立磨机液压控制系统存在的非线性、时变性问题,本文提出了一种基于改进蜣螂算法(improved dung beetle optimizer,IDBO)的模糊PID控制器(IDBO-Fuzzy-PID)。首先,基于立磨机液压位置控制系统模型,设计模糊PID控制器以实时调整控制... 为解决立磨机液压控制系统存在的非线性、时变性问题,本文提出了一种基于改进蜣螂算法(improved dung beetle optimizer,IDBO)的模糊PID控制器(IDBO-Fuzzy-PID)。首先,基于立磨机液压位置控制系统模型,设计模糊PID控制器以实时调整控制参数;其次,针对DBO算法存在的种群多样性匮乏、全局搜索能力弱、易陷局部最优等不足,引入佳点集与反向学习、自适应繁殖偷窃及自适应混合变异3种策略进行改进,并通过多类型测试函数验证IDBO收敛速度及求解精度;最后,构建联合仿真平台,验证控制器在随机干扰与系统参数波动条件下的控制性能。研究结果表明:本文提出的IDBO-Fuzzy-PID控制器具有良好的跟踪性能与时变适应性,系统平衡点附近上升、调节时间最短,基本无超调至目标位移;在外界扰动条件下,液压杆振幅降至0.252 mm,较PID控制器降幅达71.3%,其抗干扰性能最优;在系统参数波动条件下,其稳定性未受显著影响,正弦波跟踪性能最优。该控制器通过动态调整参数以快速补偿液压杆位移的偏差,有效抑制了磨辊的波动,提升了磨粉工艺的稳定性。 展开更多

The position control model is deduced based on a single stand cold rolling mill, and the fuzzy controller for monitor AGC system is designed. The analysis of dynamic performance for traditional PID Smith prediction controller and fuzzy self-tuning PID Smith prediction controller is done by MAT- LAB toolbox. The simulation results show that fuzzy self-tuning PID Smith controller has stronger robustness, faster response and higher static accuracy than traditional PID Smith controller. 展开更多

Shape memory alloy (SMA) actuator is a potential advanced component for servo- systems of aerospace vehicles and aircraft. This paper presents a joint with two degrees of freedom (DOF) and a mobility range close to ±60° when driven by SMA triple wires. The fuzzy proportional-integral-derivative (PID)-controlled actuator drive was designed using antagonistic SMA triple wires, and the resistance feedback signal made a closed loop. Experiments showed that, with the driving responding frequency increasing, the overstress became harder to be avoided at the position under the maximum friction force. Furthermore, the hysteresis gap between the heating and cooling paths of the strain-to-resistance curve expanded under this condition. A fuzzy logic control was considered as a solution, and the curves of the wires were then modeled by fitting polynomials so that the measured resistance was used directly to determine the control signal. Accurate control was demonstrated through the step response, and the experimental results showed that under the fuzzy PID-control program, the mean absolute error (MAE) of the rotation angle was about 3.147°. In addition, the investigation of the external interference to the system proved the controllable maximum output. 展开更多

The principle of the gas membrane separation process and the influence of the operation temperatures are analyzed. As the conventional PID controller is difficult to make the operation temperatures steady, a fuzzy self-tuning PID control algorithm is proposed. The application shows that the algorithm is effective, the operation temperatures of both stages can be controlled steadily, and the operation flexibility and adaptability of the hydrogen recovery unit are enhanced with safety. This study lays a foundation to optimize the control of the membrane separation process and thus ensure the membrane performance. 展开更多

An optimal PID controller with incomplete derivation is proposed based on fuzzy inference and the geneticalgorithm, which is called the fuzzy-GA PID controller with incomplete derivation. It consists of the off-line part andthe on-line part. In the off-line part, by taking the overshoot, rise time, and settling time of system unit step re-sponse as the performance indexes and by using the genetic algorithm, a group of optimal PID parameters K*p , Ti* ,and Tj are obtained, which are used as the initial values for the on-line tuning of PID parameters. In the on-linepart, based on K; , Ti* , and T*d and according to the current system error e and its time derivative, a dedicatedprogram is written, which is used to optimize and adjust the PID parameters on line through a fuzzy inference mech-anism to ensure that the system response has optimal dynamic and steady-state performance. The controller has beenused to control the D. C. motor of the intelligent bionic artificial leg designed by the authors. The result of computersimulation shows that this kind of optimal PID controller has excellent control performance and robust performance. 展开更多

In this study, a kind of fuzzy self-adaptive PID controller is described and this controller is used in biomass boiler’s drum water level control system. Using the simulink tool of MATLAB simulation software to simulate the fuzzy adaptive PID and conventional PID control system, the result of the comparison shows that the fuzzy self-adaptive PID has the strong anti-jamming, flexibility and adaptability as well as the higher control precision in Biomass Boiler Drum Water. 展开更多

This work proposes to design a fuzzy proportional-integral derivative (FPID) controller for dual-sensor cardiac pacemaker systems, which can automatically control the heart rate to accurately track a desired preset profile. The combination of fuzzy logic and conventional PID control approaches is adopted for the controller design based on dual-sensors. This controller offers good adaptation of the heart rate to the physiological needs of the patient under different states (rest and walk). Through comparing with the conventional fuzzy control algorithm, FPID provides a more suitable control strategy to determine a pacing rate in order to achieve a closer match between actual heart rate and a desired profile. To assist the heartbeat recovery, the stimuli with adjustable pacing rate is generated by the pacemaker according to the FPID controller, such actual heart rate may track the preset heart rate faithfully. Simulation results confirm that this proposed control design is effective for heartbeat recovery and maintenance. This study will be helpful not only for the analysis and treatment of bradycardias but also for improving the performance of medical devices. 展开更多

Based on the ant colony system (ACS) algorithm and fuzzy logic control, a new design method for optimal fuzzy PID controller was proposed. In this method, the ACS algorithm was used to optimize the input/output scaling factors of fuzzy PID controller to generate the optimal fuzzy control rules and optimal real-time control action on a given controlled object. The designed controller, called the Fuzzy-ACS PID controller, was used to control the CIP-Ⅰ intelligent leg. The simulation experiments demonstrate that this controller has good control performance. Compared with other three optimal PID controllers designed respectively by using the differential evolution algorithm, the real-coded genetic algorithm, and the simulated annealing, it was verified that the Fuzzy-ACS PID controller has better control performance. Furthermore, the simulation results also verify that the proposed ACS algorithm has quick convergence speed, small solution variation, good dynamic convergence behavior, and high computation efficiency in searching for the optimal input/output scaling factors. 展开更多

The control system, which includes structure, the composition of software and hardware, the form of PID control system and its systematic closed-loop, was used in No.4236 full-mechanized coal face of Xinlongzhuang mine. The typical fuzzy PID control system structure was investigated, and a simplified fuzzy PID control system was taken the place of the complex three-dimension fuzzy controller. Based on the parameter relation between fuzzy controller and normal PID controller, a common method of parameter adjustment of PID controller was summed up and the computer simulation was realized. This system can overcome the problems of large delay, nonlinear, poor running en- vironment and great load change in the full-mechanized coal face. The five degree freedom magnetic bearing is researched and its structure and working principles are introduced also. Based on the fuzzy control technology, combining fuzzy algorithm and PID control method, identifying the transition process mode of the online system to get the PID parameters' self-adjusting, the magnetic beating system's Fuzzy-PID nonlinear controller is designed by analyzing the system control demands. The Fuzzy-PID nonlinear controller can deal with the magnetic bearing system' s open loop instability and strong nonlinearity, and the approach could improve the system's rapidity, adaptability, stability and dynamic characteristics. Comparative analysis and experiments are conducted between linear PID and nonlinear fuzzy- PID control methods, the results show that the fuzzy-PID controller is better, and the five-freedom magnetic bearing' s rotary precision experiments are conducted by the fuzzy-PID controller, it satisfies the control rotary precision demands and realizes the hearing's steady floating and rotating. 展开更多

This paper presents the automatic drug administration for the regulation of bispectral (BIS) index in the anesthesia process during the clinical surgery by controlling the concentration target of two drugs, namely, propofol and remifentanil. To realize the automatic drug administration, real clinical data are collected for 42 patients for the construction of patients’ models consisting of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic models describing the dynamics reacting to the input drugs. A nominal anesthesia model is obtained by taking the average of 42 patients’ models for the design of control scheme. Three PID controllers are employed, namely linear PID controller, type-1 (T1) fuzzy PID controller and interval type-2 (IT2) fuzzy PID controller, to regulate the BIS index using the nominal patient’s model. The PID gains and membership functions are obtained using genetic algorithm (GA) by minimizing a cost function measuring the control performance. The best trained PID controllers are tested under different scenarios and compared in terms of control performance. Simulation results show that the IT2 fuzzy PID controller offers the best control strategy regulating the BIS index while the T1 fuzzy PID controller comes the second. 展开更多

Asymmetric stereoscopic video coding can take advantage of binocular suppression in human vision by representing one of the two views in lower quality.This paper proposes a bit allocation strategy for asymmetric stereoscopic video coding.In order to improve the accuracy of bit allocation and rate control in the left view,a proportionalintegral-derivative controller is adopted.Meanwhile,to control the quality fluctuation between consecutive frames of the left view,a quality controller is adopted.Besides,a fuzzy controller is proposed to control the variation in quality between the left and right views by comparing the PSNR disparity of two views with a fixed threshold,which is used to quantize the binocular psycho-visual redundancy and adjust the quantization parameter (QP) of the right view correspondingly.The proposed algorithm has been implemented in H.264/AVC video codec,and the experimental results show its effectiveness in rate control while keeping a good quality for the left view,and fewer bits are allocated for the right view so that the overall bit rate is saved by 7.2% at most without the loss of subjective visual quality for stereoscopic video. 展开更多
