Benefit measurement of the soil and water conservation for ecological forestry engineering

Data were collected from Three-north Region, Middle and upper reaches region of Yangtze River and Coastal region. By analysis of factors influencing soil erosion, the longitude, latitude, annual precipitation, and the slope degree were selected as regional independent variables and canopy density and stock litter were selected as independent variables, and integral diffusing models were established for evaluation of the benefit of soil and water conservation of forest. By solving the parameters of models using the package of STATISTICA, the Power function between independent variables and dependent variables was set up. The soil conservation amount of forest and economic values were estimated using the contrast method for the ecological forestry engineering of the above three areas. 展开更多

The deterioration of global environment,decreasing of biological diversity,increasing of natural disasters,exhausting of biological resources and acceleration of desertification emphasize the need to provide the human-beings with the suitable environments.Nowadays,precision agriculture and precision forestry have been emphasized to obtain the maximum output with minimum input and the least impact on the environment,so agricultural and forestry engineering systems require multi-disciplinary design groups to deal with some common interests and the concept of biomechinfotronics is needed.The word“biomechinfotronic”is introduced to describe the multidisciplinary aspects of this complex system.In the paper,the prospects,mission analysis,education system,research areas of biomechinfotronics are studied.The particular characteristics of biomechinfotronics are the synergistic integration of biological engineering with mechatronics,bioinformatics,infotronics,bioelectronics and intelligent computer systems for conducting common research and development and for recruiting and training students with wide specialties. 展开更多

[Method] A three-dimensional operation project was designed based on forestry lands in Bagua Zhou in Nanjing City. [Result] In the project, timber products, by-products in forest and relaxing products supplimented and supported each other, and a virtuous circle has been achieved. These contents promote and influence each other. Any problems in any link will affect the quality of seedling cultivation. In recent years, China's forest coverage rate has been significantly increased with the implementation of national afforestation activities such as the Three North Shelterbelt Project and land greening. With the continuous expansion of afforestation area, the demand for seedlings is increasing. However, there are still many problems in the forest engineering seedling cultivation and afforestation activities, which lead to the low quality of the seedlings and the low survival rate of the seedlings in our country, unable to meet the needs of afforestation, and causing serious waste of forest resources. In this paper, the key points of management of site selection, seed treatment, soil preparation and seeding, seedling stage management and other links in the process of forest engineering seedling cultivation, as well as the key points of afforestation such as seedling transplanting method and young forest tending are expounded, hoping to help improve the survival rate of forest engineering afforestation. 展开更多
