High-rise housing is being built in increasingly densely populated urban residential areas in Tokyo,Japan.On the other hand,detached houses are built on small,subdivided sites.In urban residential areas where detached...High-rise housing is being built in increasingly densely populated urban residential areas in Tokyo,Japan.On the other hand,detached houses are built on small,subdivided sites.In urban residential areas where detached houses are lined up,many elements related to daily life are located near roadside space and spill out onto the road.This is a distinctive modern urban residential landscape.The purpose of this study is to get closer to the reality of urban residential life.For that,we will consider the characteristics and roles of elements related to daily life that can be observed in many areas around roadside space in an urban residential area lined with detached houses,in urban living environments.This study focuses on the detached residential area of Bunkyo Ward.A field survey will be conducted to investigate the amount of elements related to daily life that can be observed from the road.In addition,we will conduct a questionnaire survey of residents in the survey area regarding their use of and awareness of the roadside space.Finally,we will investigate the relationship between lifestyle factors and urban residential life from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives.展开更多

We consider the motion of qualitative information and the practicalities of extracting a part from chaotic experimental data. Our approach based on a theorem of Takens draws on the ideas from the generalized theory of information known as singular system analysis. We illustrate this technique by numerical data from the chaotic region of the chaotic experimental data. The method of the singular-value decomposition is used to calculate the eigenvalues of embedding space matrix. The corresponding concrete algorithm to calculate eigenvectors and to obtain the basis of embedding vector space is proposed in this paper. The projection on the orthogonal basis generated by eigenvectors of timeseries data and concrete paradigm are also provided here. Meanwhile the state space reconstruction technology of different kinds of chaotic data obtained from dynamical system has also been discussed in detail.展开更多

Computer tomography, as a method for reconstructing phase space and measuring beam emittance, has been used in many accelerators over the past few decades. In this paper, we demonstrate a transverse phase space reconstruction study in the Shanghai soft X-ray free electron laser facility. First,we discuss the basic principles of phase space reconstruction and the advantage of reconstructing beam distribution in normalized phase space. Then, the phase space reconstruction results by different computer tomography methods based on the maximum entropy(MENT) algorithm and the filtered back projection algorithm in normalized phase space are presented. The simulation results indicate that,with proper configuration of the phase advance between adjacent screens, the MENT algorithm is feasible and has good efficiency. The beam emittance and Twiss parameters are also calculated using the reconstructed phase space.展开更多
To make elevator group control system better follow the change of elevator traffic flow (ETF) in order to adjust the control strategy,the prediction method of support vector machine (SVM) in combination with phase spa...To make elevator group control system better follow the change of elevator traffic flow (ETF) in order to adjust the control strategy,the prediction method of support vector machine (SVM) in combination with phase space reconstruction has been proposed for ETF.Firstly,the phase space reconstruction for elevator traffic flow time series (ETFTS) is processed.Secondly,the small data set method is applied to calculate the largest Lyapunov exponent to judge the chaotic property of ETF.Then prediction model of ETFTS based on SVM is founded.Finally,the method is applied to predict the time series for the incoming and outgoing passenger flow respectively using ETF data collected in some building.Meanwhile,it is compared with RBF neural network model.Simulation results show that the trend of factual traffic flow is better followed by predictive traffic flow.SVM algorithm has much better prediction performance.The fitting and prediction of ETF with better effect are realized.展开更多

The experimental results show that, the structure of dynamical trajectory of chaotic system on the wavelet space is much similar to the original system, and the nonlinear invariants such as correlation dimension, Lyapunov exponent and Kolmogorov entropy are still reserved. It demonstrates that wavelet decomposition is effective for characterizing chaotic dynamical system.展开更多

The cl...Power Quality (PQ) combined disturbances become common along with ubiquity of voltage flickers and harmonics. This paper presents a novel approach to classify the different patterns of PQ combined disturbances. The classification system consists of two parts, namely the feature extraction and the automatic recognition. In the feature extraction stage, Phase Space Reconstruction (PSR), a time series analysis tool, is utilized to construct disturbance signal trajectories. For these trajectories, several indices are proposed to form the feature vectors. Support Vector Machines (SVMs) are then implemented to recognize the different patterns and to evaluate the efficiencies. The types of disturbances discussed include a combination of short-term dis-turbances (voltage sags, swells) and long-term disturbances (flickers, harmonics), as well as their homologous single ones. The feasibilities of the proposed approach are verified by simulation with thousands of PQ events. Comparison studies based on Wavelet Transform (WT) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) are also reported to show its advantages.展开更多

This method is applied to two types of chaotic dynamic systems(Lorenz and Rssler) to examine the anti-noise ability for complex systems. Results show that the nonlinear dynamic system analysis method resists noise and reveals the internal dynamics of a weak signal from noise pollution. On this basis, the vertical upward gas–liquid two-phase flow in a 2 mm × 0.81 mm small rectangular channel is investigated. The frequency and energy distributions of the main oscillation mode are revealed by analyzing the time–frequency spectra of the pressure signals of different flow patterns. The positive power spectral density of singular-value frequency entropy and the damping ratio are extracted to characterize the evolution of flow patterns and achieve accurate recognition of different vertical upward gas–liquid flow patterns(bubbly flow:100%, slug flow: 92%, churn flow: 96%, annular flow: 100%). The proposed analysis method will enrich the dynamics theory of multi-phase flow in small channel.展开更多
Grain production space reconstruction referred to the changes in the quantity,quality and pattern of grain produc-tion space caused by functional tradeoffs and conflicts between grain production space,urban-rural deve...Grain production space reconstruction referred to the changes in the quantity,quality and pattern of grain produc-tion space caused by functional tradeoffs and conflicts between grain production space,urban-rural development space,and ecological service space.Exploring tradeoffs between land system functions caused by grain produc-tion space reconstruction was particularly important for ensuring food security,promoting the construction of ecological civilization,and achieving sustainable development.Therefore,this study identified four relationships of land system functions during the process of grain production space reconstruction(1980-2018)in China by using Set Pair Analysis.Research results showed that the reconstruction of grain production space was achieved mainly through three pathways:Grain for Green,deforestation and reclamation,and urban expansion.Generally,ecological service had spatial negative correlation with grain production,economic development and population carrying capacity(P<0.01),but grain production,economic development and population carrying capacity were positively correlated with each other(P<0.01).In the process of grain production space reconstruction,eco-logical services and economic development,ecological services and population carrying capacity had all shown inverse synergies;there was a tradeoffbetween grain production and ecological services,a codirectional tradeoffbetween grain production and economic development,but a strong synergy between economic development and population carrying capacity.However,the functions of land systems only appeared as synergies or tradeoffs,and there were no inverse synergies and codirectional tradeoffs in the separate processes of Grain for Green,deforestation and reclamation,and urban expansion.It can be concluded that the relationships between land system functions were relatively simple in a single process,but it became complex and diverse when multiple processes were integrated for system analysis.展开更多

Traditional research believes that the filling body can effectively control stress concentration while ignoring the problems of unknown stability and the complex and changeable stress distribution of the filling body...Traditional research believes that the filling body can effectively control stress concentration while ignoring the problems of unknown stability and the complex and changeable stress distribution of the filling body–surrounding rock combination under high-stress conditions.Current monitoring data processing methods cannot fully consider the complexity of monitoring objects,the diversity of monitoring methods,and the dynamics of monitoring data.To solve this problem,this paper proposes a phase space reconstruction and stability prediction method to process heterogeneous information of backfill–surrounding rock combinations.The three-dimensional monitoring system of a large-area filling body–surrounding rock combination in Longshou Mine was constructed by using drilling stress,multipoint displacement meter,and inclinometer.Varied information,such as the stress and displacement of the filling body–surrounding rock combination,was continuously obtained.Combined with the average mutual information method and the false nearest neighbor point method,the phase space of the heterogeneous information of the filling body–surrounding rock combination was then constructed.In this paper,the distance between the phase point and its nearest point was used as the index evaluation distance to evaluate the stability of the filling body–surrounding rock combination.The evaluated distances(ED)revealed a high sensitivity to the stability of the filling body–surrounding rock combination.The new method was then applied to calculate the time series of historically ED for 12 measuring points located at Longshou Mine.The moments of mutation in these time series were at least 3 months ahead of the roadway return dates.In the ED prediction experiments,the autoregressive integrated moving average model showed a higher prediction accuracy than the deep learning models(long short-term memory and Transformer).Furthermore,the root-mean-square error distribution of the prediction results peaked at 0.26,thus outperforming the no-prediction method in 70%of the cases.展开更多

If the reconstruction space satisfies one-to-one relationship between the samples and the reconstruction model, then we propose a method, which achieves consistent signal reconstruction. At the same time, when the number of samples is more than the number of reconstruction functions, the minimal-norm reconstruction signal can be obtained. Finally, it is demonstrated that the minimal-norm reconstruction can outperform consistent signal reconstruction in both theory and simulations for the problem.展开更多

For the current geological mapping of individual territories,remote sensing and geographic information system(GIS)technologies are widely used.Taking the Fergana depression as an example,this paper aims to determine t...For the current geological mapping of individual territories,remote sensing and geographic information system(GIS)technologies are widely used.Taking the Fergana depression as an example,this paper aims to determine the possibilities of using remote sensing materials for mapping structural and geomorphological elements.Landsat-8 satellite imagery obtained on 11 spectral channels was used to highlight the decoding features.Fault zones,lineament zones,various uplifts,depressions,and structural material complexes of different ages were identified.Based on the in-depth analysis of geological and geophysical data,a geological schematic map of the Fergana depression was developed.Using geological landscape and automated methods for deciphering space images,the main neotectonic elements of the Fergana depression were identified:the southern step,northern marginal slope,central graben-syncline,flexurefault zones,local anticlinal zones,individual uplifts/depressions,and local shear zones.The results show a neotectonic map of the study area,which can be used as a tectonic basis for prospecting,seismic zoning mapping,and geological engineering development.展开更多

文摘Grain production space reconstruction referred to the changes in the quantity,quality and pattern of grain produc-tion space caused by functional tradeoffs and conflicts between grain production space,urban-rural development space,and ecological service space.Exploring tradeoffs between land system functions caused by grain produc-tion space reconstruction was particularly important for ensuring food security,promoting the construction of ecological civilization,and achieving sustainable development.Therefore,this study identified four relationships of land system functions during the process of grain production space reconstruction(1980-2018)in China by using Set Pair Analysis.Research results showed that the reconstruction of grain production space was achieved mainly through three pathways:Grain for Green,deforestation and reclamation,and urban expansion.Generally,ecological service had spatial negative correlation with grain production,economic development and population carrying capacity(P<0.01),but grain production,economic development and population carrying capacity were positively correlated with each other(P<0.01).In the process of grain production space reconstruction,eco-logical services and economic development,ecological services and population carrying capacity had all shown inverse synergies;there was a tradeoffbetween grain production and ecological services,a codirectional tradeoffbetween grain production and economic development,but a strong synergy between economic development and population carrying capacity.However,the functions of land systems only appeared as synergies or tradeoffs,and there were no inverse synergies and codirectional tradeoffs in the separate processes of Grain for Green,deforestation and reclamation,and urban expansion.It can be concluded that the relationships between land system functions were relatively simple in a single process,but it became complex and diverse when multiple processes were integrated for system analysis.
文摘The notion of “exceptional family of elements (EFE)” plays a very important role in solving complementarity prob- lems. It has been applied in finite dimensional spaces and Hilbert spaces by many authors. In this paper, by using the generalized projection defined by Alber, we extend this notion from Hilbert spaces to uniformly smooth and uniformly convex Banach spaces, and apply this extension to the study of nonlinear complementarity problems in Banach spaces.

文摘Traditional research believes that the filling body can effectively control stress concentration while ignoring the problems of unknown stability and the complex and changeable stress distribution of the filling body–surrounding rock combination under high-stress conditions.Current monitoring data processing methods cannot fully consider the complexity of monitoring objects,the diversity of monitoring methods,and the dynamics of monitoring data.To solve this problem,this paper proposes a phase space reconstruction and stability prediction method to process heterogeneous information of backfill–surrounding rock combinations.The three-dimensional monitoring system of a large-area filling body–surrounding rock combination in Longshou Mine was constructed by using drilling stress,multipoint displacement meter,and inclinometer.Varied information,such as the stress and displacement of the filling body–surrounding rock combination,was continuously obtained.Combined with the average mutual information method and the false nearest neighbor point method,the phase space of the heterogeneous information of the filling body–surrounding rock combination was then constructed.In this paper,the distance between the phase point and its nearest point was used as the index evaluation distance to evaluate the stability of the filling body–surrounding rock combination.The evaluated distances(ED)revealed a high sensitivity to the stability of the filling body–surrounding rock combination.The new method was then applied to calculate the time series of historically ED for 12 measuring points located at Longshou Mine.The moments of mutation in these time series were at least 3 months ahead of the roadway return dates.In the ED prediction experiments,the autoregressive integrated moving average model showed a higher prediction accuracy than the deep learning models(long short-term memory and Transformer).Furthermore,the root-mean-square error distribution of the prediction results peaked at 0.26,thus outperforming the no-prediction method in 70%of the cases.

文摘Phase space reconstruction is the first step of recognizing the chaotic time series.On the basis of differential entropy ratio method,the embedding dimension opt m and time delay t are optimal for the state space reconstruction could be determined.But they are not the optimal parameters accepted for prediction.This study proposes an improved method based on the differential entropy ratio and Radial Basis Function(RBF)neural network to estimate the embedding dimension m and the time delay t,which have both optimal characteristics of the state space reconstruction and the prediction.Simulating experiments of Lorenz system and Doffing system show that the original phase space could be reconstructed from the time series effectively,and both the prediction accuracy and prediction length are improved greatly.

文摘A new family of GB-majorized mappings from a topological space into a finite continuous topological spaces (in short, FC-space) involving a better admissible set-valued mapping is introduced. Some existence theorems of maximal elements for the family of GB-majorized mappings are proved under noncompact setting of product FCspaces. Some applications to fixed point and system of minimax inequalities are given in product FC-spaces. These theorems improve, unify and generalize many important results in recent literature.
文摘A method that attempts to recover signal using generalized inverse theory is presented to obtain a good approximation of the signal in reconstruction space from its generalized samples. The proposed approaches differ with the assumptions on reconstruction space. If the reconstruction space satisfies one-to-one relationship between the samples and the reconstruction model, then we propose a method, which achieves consistent signal reconstruction. At the same time, when the number of samples is more than the number of reconstruction functions, the minimal-norm reconstruction signal can be obtained. Finally, it is demonstrated that the minimal-norm reconstruction can outperform consistent signal reconstruction in both theory and simulations for the problem.

文摘In phase space reconstruction of time series, the selection of embedding dimension is important. Based on the idea of checking the behavior of near neighbors in the reconstruction dimension, a new method to determine proper minimum embedding dimension is constructed. This method has a sound theoretical basis and can lead to good result. It can indicate the noise level in the data to be reconstructed, and estimate the reconstruction quality. It is applied to speech signal reconstruction and the generic embedding dimension of speech signals is deduced.

文摘For the current geological mapping of individual territories,remote sensing and geographic information system(GIS)technologies are widely used.Taking the Fergana depression as an example,this paper aims to determine the possibilities of using remote sensing materials for mapping structural and geomorphological elements.Landsat-8 satellite imagery obtained on 11 spectral channels was used to highlight the decoding features.Fault zones,lineament zones,various uplifts,depressions,and structural material complexes of different ages were identified.Based on the in-depth analysis of geological and geophysical data,a geological schematic map of the Fergana depression was developed.Using geological landscape and automated methods for deciphering space images,the main neotectonic elements of the Fergana depression were identified:the southern step,northern marginal slope,central graben-syncline,flexurefault zones,local anticlinal zones,individual uplifts/depressions,and local shear zones.The results show a neotectonic map of the study area,which can be used as a tectonic basis for prospecting,seismic zoning mapping,and geological engineering development.
