Assessing and Improving the Quality of Undergraduates in Preschool Education Programs in China:The Course Experience

This study investigated the current status of course satisfaction among 416 undergraduate students majoring in preschool education from four universities in China.And it explored the predictive effects of five influencing factors(teacher instruction,course management,course setting,course environment,and course resources)on student satisfaction.Through SPSS data analysis,the findings revealed that:1.the mean value of course experience was M=3.861(out of 5);2.there were differences in the satisfaction of undergraduate students'course experience by different background variables;3.course,course resources,and loyalty had significant predictive power on undergraduate students'satisfaction with course experience;4.instructor instruction(TI)did not significantly predict students'satisfaction with course experience(SCES)(p>0.001);5.Faculty instruction(TI)in this study had the highest mean satisfaction score(M=4.191)and the mean satisfaction score was only(M=3.861).The results show that the current status of course satisfaction among Chinese preschool undergraduates is at an moderate level,and there is more space for improvement;although students'satisfaction with teacher instruction(TI)is high,effective teacher instruction does not have a substantial impact on the acquisition of SCES or general competencies,and this passive learning and teaching style leads to a lack of independent learning and active participation among Chinese preschool undergraduate students. 展开更多

Beryllium(^(9)Be)serves as a crucial neutron multiplier and reflection material,being extensively employed in the nuclear industry.The evaluated nuclear data are utilized in the design of the nuclear devices.Following the interaction between neutrons and^(9)Be,all neutrons generated stem from the^(9)Be(n,2n)^(8)Be reaction channel,except for the elastic scattering reaction channel.Nevertheless,the data of the outgoing neutron double differential cross section of the reaction channel provided by the latest internationally evaluated libraries still exhibit considerable discrepancies.A shielding integral experiment based on slab^(9)Be samples with measurements of neutron spectra leaked from different angles is an effective approach to verify the double differential cross-section data.Hence,in this study,a shielding integral experiment of^(9)Be samples of different thicknesses was conducted using a nanosecond pulsed deuterium-tritium neutron source established by the China Institute of Atomic Energy.The neutron time-of-flight spectra of three thicknesses(4.4 cm,8.8 cm,and 13.2 cm)and six angles(47°,58°,73°,107°,122°,and 133°)were measured by the neutron time-of-flight method,and 18 sets of experimental data were obtained.Additionally,the MCNP-4C program was used to obtain the simulated results of the leakage neutron spectra using the evaluated nuclear data of^(9)Be from the CENDL-3.2,ENDF/B-Ⅷ.0,JENDL-5,and JEFF-3.3 libraries.The simulated results of the leakage neutron spectra were compared with the experimental results,and the results showed that in the elastic scattering energy region,the simulated results from the CENDL-3.2,ENDF/B-Ⅷ.0,and JENDL-5 libraries were slightly higher at small angles and slightly lower at large angles.In the(n,2n)energy region,the simulated results from the CENDL-3.2 library were significantly different from the experimental results in terms of spectral shape,and the simulated results from the ENDF/B-Ⅷ.0 and the JENDL-5 libraries were in good agreement with the experimental results at small angles but low at large angles.The simulated results from the JEFF-3.3 library showed serious underestimation at all angles. 展开更多

预应力混凝土梁长期预应力损失的试验测试和分析

基于美国西北大学基础设施技术研究所(NU-ITI)混凝土收缩徐变性能数据库,采用基因表达式编程(GP)的方法建立了混凝土收缩徐变函数的显式表达式。采用Abaqus二次开发功能,对混凝土收缩徐变进行模拟。在已有的预应力混凝土梁长期预应力损... 基于美国西北大学基础设施技术研究所(NU-ITI)混凝土收缩徐变性能数据库,采用基因表达式编程(GP)的方法建立了混凝土收缩徐变函数的显式表达式。采用Abaqus二次开发功能,对混凝土收缩徐变进行模拟。在已有的预应力混凝土梁长期预应力损失试验的基础上,进行了数值模型的标定。研究结果表明,GL2000模型计算方法的收缩预测结果精度最高。规范JTG 3362—2018和CEB-FIP Model Code1990的收缩和徐变预测结果均比测试值低。如果直接采用规范JTG 3362—2018的收缩和徐变模型进行计算,会低估预应力损失。收缩模型如果直接采用JTG 3362—2018对预测值和测试值的比值进行修正,考虑95%的上限和下限,则修正的比值范围为[1.195, 3.048]。徐变模型如果直接采用JTG 3362—2018进行比值修正,考虑95%的上限和下限,则修正的比值范围为[0.369, 2.701]。采用基于GP方法的修正JTG 3362—2018模型后,3个测试样本的预测值和测试值比较接近。 展开更多

采空区内煤自燃隐患的监测与预警,是预防煤自燃火灾的关键前置环节,也是当前矿井火灾防控领域亟待突破的核心技术难题。为解决赤城煤矿5^(-2)煤层1502^(-2)特厚急倾斜综放工作面回采期间的煤自燃监测预警难题,采用煤自燃程序升温实验,... 采空区内煤自燃隐患的监测与预警,是预防煤自燃火灾的关键前置环节,也是当前矿井火灾防控领域亟待突破的核心技术难题。为解决赤城煤矿5^(-2)煤层1502^(-2)特厚急倾斜综放工作面回采期间的煤自燃监测预警难题,采用煤自燃程序升温实验,系统揭示了测试煤样在不同温度下自燃氧化过程中,CO、CO_(2)、CH_(4)、C_(2)H_(6)、C_(2)H_(4)、C_(2)H_(2)等气体浓度随煤温的演化规律。结合现场实测数据,经指标优选确定了CO、C 2H 4为煤自燃预测核心指标气体,同时选取Δφ(CO)/Δφ(O 2)、φ(C_(2)H_(4))/φ(C_(2)H_(6))作为关键预警指标,构建了“灰、蓝、黄、橙、红”五级分级预警体系,并明确了各等级对应的现场预警阈值,形成适配该类工作面的煤自燃分级预警技术体系。该体系在5^(-2)煤层1502^(-2)综放工作面成功应用,实现了煤自燃隐患的早期预警,有效提升了矿井煤自燃火灾防控技术水平,为工作面安全高效回采提供了可靠保障。 展开更多

An integer linear bilevel programming problem is firstly transformed into a binary linear bilevel programming problem, and then converted into a single-level binary implicit programming. An orthogonal genetic algorithm is developed for solving the binary linear implicit programming problem based on the orthogonal design. The orthogonal design with the factor analysis, an experimental design method is applied to the genetic algorithm to make the algorithm more robust, statistical y sound and quickly convergent. A crossover operator formed by the orthogonal array and the factor analysis is presented. First, this crossover operator can generate a smal but representative sample of points as offspring. After al of the better genes of these offspring are selected, a best combination among these offspring is then generated. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. 展开更多

Existing vehicle experiment systems tend to focus on the research of vehicle dynamics by conducting performance tests on every system or some parts of the vehicle so as to improve the entire performance of the vehicle.Virtual technology is widely utilized in various vehicle test-beds.These test-beds are mainly used to simulate the driving training,conduct the research on drivers'behaviors,or give virtual demonstrations of the transportation environment.However,the study on the active safety of the running vehicle in the virtual environment is still insufficient.A virtual scene including roads and vehicles is developed by using the software Creator and Vega,and radars and cameras are also simulated in the scene.Based on dSPACE's rapid prototyping simulation and its single board DS1103,a simulation model including vehicle control signals is set up in MATLAB/Simulink,the model is then built into C code,and the system defined file(SDF)is downloaded to the DS1103 board through the experiment debug software ControlDesk and is kept running.Programming is made by mixing Visual C++6.0,MATLAB API and Vega API.Control signals are read out by invoking library function MLIB/MTRACE of dSPACE.All the input,output,and system state values are acquired by arithmetic and are dynamically associated with the running status of the virtual vehicle.An intelligent vehicle experiment system is thus developed by virtue of program and integration.The system has not only the demonstration function,such as general driving,cruise control,active avoiding collision,but also the function of virtual experiment.Parameters of the system can be set according to needs,and the virtual test results can be analyzed and studied and used for the comparison with the existing models.The system reflects the running of the intelligent vehicle in the virtual traffic environment,at the same time,the system is a new attempt performed on the intelligent vehicle travel research and provides also a new research method for the development of intelligent vehicles. 展开更多

For capturing and recycling of CO_(2)in the internal combustion engine,Rankle cycle engine can reduce the exhaust pollutants effectively under the condition of ensuring the engine thermal efficiency by using the techniques of spraying water in the cylinder and optimizing the ignition advance angle.However,due to the water spray nozzle need to be installed on the cylinder,which increases the cylinder head design difficulty and makes the combustion conditions become more complicated.In this paper,a new method is presented to carry out the closing inlet and exhaust system for internal combustion engines.The proposed new method uses liquid oxygen to solidify part of cooled CO_(2)from exhaust system into dry ice and the liquid oxygen turns into gas oxygen which is sent to inlet system.The other part of CO_(2)is sent to inlet system and mixed with oxygen,which can reduce the oxygen-enriched combustion detonation tendency and make combustion stable.Computing grid of the IP52FMI single-cylinder four-stroke gasoline-engine is established according to the actual shape of the combustion chamber using KIVA-3V program.The effects of exhaust gas recirculation(EGR)rate are analyzed on the temperatures,the pressures and the instantaneous heat release rates when the EGR rate is more than 8%.The possibility of enclosing intake and exhaust system for engine is verified.The carbon dioxide trapping device is designed and the IP52FMI engine is transformed and the CO_(2)capture experiment is carried out.The experimental results show that when the EGR rate is 36%for the optimum EGR rate.When the liquid oxygen of 35.80-437.40 g is imported into the device and last 1-20 min,respectively,21.50-701.30 g dry ice is obtained.This research proposes a new design method which can capture CO_(2)for vehicular internal combustion engine. 展开更多

The composite Newton method attempts to balance the trade-off between expense and fast convergence by composing one Newton step with one simplified Newton step. Recently, Mehrotra suggested a predictor-corrector variant of primal-dual interior point method for linear programming. It is currently the interiorpoint method of the choice for linear programming. In this work we propose a predictor-corrector interior-point algorithm for convex quadratic programming. It is proved that the algorithm is equivalent to a level-1 perturbed composite Newton method. Computations in the algorithm do not require that the initial primal and dual points be feasible. Numerical experiments are made. 展开更多

In the p aper a predictor-corrector interior-point algorithm for linearly constrained c onvex programming under the predictor-corrector motivation was proposed. In eac h iteration, the algorithm first performs a predictor-step to reduce the dualit y gap and then a corrector-step to keep the points close to the central traject ory. Computations in the algorithm only require that the initial iterate be nonn egative while feasibility or strict feasibility is not required. It is proved th at the algorithm is equivalent to a level-1 perturbed composite Newton method. Numerical experiments on twenty-six standard test problems are made. The hydro unit economic load dispatch (ELD) is of great importance in energy conservation and emission reduction. Dynamic programming (DP) and genetic algorithm (GA) are two representative algorithms for solving ELD problems. The goal of this study was to examine the performance of DP and GA while they were applied to ELD. We established numerical experiments to conduct performance comparisons between DP and GA with two given schemes. The schemes included comparing the CPU time of the algorithms when they had the same solution quality, and comparing the solution quality when they had the same CPU time. The numerical experiments were applied to the Three Gorges Reservoir in China, which is equipped with 26 hydro generation units. We found the relation between the performance of algorithms and the number of units through experiments. Results show that GA is adept at searching for optimal solutions in low-dimensional cases. In some cases, such as with a number of units of less than 10, GA's performance is superior to that of a coarse-grid DP. However, GA loses its superiority in high-dimensional cases. DP is powerful in obtaining stable and high-quality solutions. Its performance can be maintained even while searching over a large solution space. Nevertheless, due to its exhaustive enumerating nature, it costs excess time in low-dimensional cases. 展开更多

Farewell to the God of Plague: China for the world disease control program

Schistosomiasis was one of the most prevalent severe infectious diseases in China.Most ot the control plans implemented were based on local settings;thus,the national schistosomiasis control program involved different control phases.These included a working mechanism based on multisectoral cooperation which involved government at all levels,communities,and professionals.It also involved updating the technical strategies and interventions through intensive research,to provide adequate support for programs at different stageswith changing natural and social features.To commemorate the 61st anniversary of publishing Chairman Mao Zedong's two poems titled Farewell to the God of Plague,we have distilled lessons leamt from national schistosomiasis control programs,which could be transferred to other endemic countries.Based on this work,we published a series of articles to demonstrate the successive programs in different areas or levels in China,and also discussed how best to apply those successive experiences into African countries where schistosomiasis is still a public health problem.There are three major lessons learnt from the Chinese national schistosomiasis control program over the last six decades:(1) sustained commitment by the Chinese governments,from central to local levels;(2) continuous update of control strategies and interventions applied at the village level,based on local settings;and (3) maintaining surveillance-response systems implementation in programs at all levels.With sustained efforts,only 37,000 patients including 2.9% advanced patient cases were found in the country,with six provinces out of the 12 endemic provinces yet to achieve transmission interruption,based on the epidemiological report in 2017.Therefore,Chinese experiences in disease control program are sufficient to promote disease control programs in other developing countries,which would also improve the visibility of Chinese contribution to the world disease control programs.Pursuit of this global engagement will also provide the impetus to maintain our surveillance-response capacity in the post-elimination stage. 展开更多

高校新生转型教育对学生成长具有重要作用,但目前存在形式单一、内容单薄等不足。基于比较视域,通过对比分析国外高校开展的“第一年体验计划”(FYE)的特点、效果及历程,发现FYE在理念上秉持以学生为中心,在课程内容上设置丰富,在做法... 高校新生转型教育对学生成长具有重要作用,但目前存在形式单一、内容单薄等不足。基于比较视域,通过对比分析国外高校开展的“第一年体验计划”(FYE)的特点、效果及历程,发现FYE在理念上秉持以学生为中心,在课程内容上设置丰富,在做法上全方位支持学生发展,取得了良好效果。借鉴FYE经验,国内高校应着力在教育理念、育人模式和工作机制上实现“三个转变”,即从管理向引导转变,从单一化向多元化转变,从分散化向协同化转变,并加强教师队伍建设和现代信息技术应用,推动新生教育高质量发展,助力学生成长成才。 展开更多
