This study investigated the current status of course satisfaction among 416 undergraduate students majoring in preschool education from four universities in China.And it explored the predictive effects of five influen...This study investigated the current status of course satisfaction among 416 undergraduate students majoring in preschool education from four universities in China.And it explored the predictive effects of five influencing factors(teacher instruction,course management,course setting,course environment,and course resources)on student satisfaction.Through SPSS data analysis,the findings revealed that:1.the mean value of course experience was M=3.861(out of 5);2.there were differences in the satisfaction of undergraduate students'course experience by different background variables;3.course,course resources,and loyalty had significant predictive power on undergraduate students'satisfaction with course experience;4.instructor instruction(TI)did not significantly predict students'satisfaction with course experience(SCES)(p>0.001);5.Faculty instruction(TI)in this study had the highest mean satisfaction score(M=4.191)and the mean satisfaction score was only(M=3.861).The results show that the current status of course satisfaction among Chinese preschool undergraduates is at an moderate level,and there is more space for improvement;although students'satisfaction with teacher instruction(TI)is high,effective teacher instruction does not have a substantial impact on the acquisition of SCES or general competencies,and this passive learning and teaching style leads to a lack of independent learning and active participation among Chinese preschool undergraduate students.展开更多
Beryllium(^(9)Be)serves as a crucial neutron multiplier and reflection material,being extensively employed in the nuclear industry.The evaluated nuclear data are utilized in the design of the nuclear devices.Following...Beryllium(^(9)Be)serves as a crucial neutron multiplier and reflection material,being extensively employed in the nuclear industry.The evaluated nuclear data are utilized in the design of the nuclear devices.Following the interaction between neutrons and^(9)Be,all neutrons generated stem from the^(9)Be(n,2n)^(8)Be reaction channel,except for the elastic scattering reaction channel.Nevertheless,the data of the outgoing neutron double differential cross section of the reaction channel provided by the latest internationally evaluated libraries still exhibit considerable discrepancies.A shielding integral experiment based on slab^(9)Be samples with measurements of neutron spectra leaked from different angles is an effective approach to verify the double differential cross-section data.Hence,in this study,a shielding integral experiment of^(9)Be samples of different thicknesses was conducted using a nanosecond pulsed deuterium-tritium neutron source established by the China Institute of Atomic Energy.The neutron time-of-flight spectra of three thicknesses(4.4 cm,8.8 cm,and 13.2 cm)and six angles(47°,58°,73°,107°,122°,and 133°)were measured by the neutron time-of-flight method,and 18 sets of experimental data were obtained.Additionally,the MCNP-4C program was used to obtain the simulated results of the leakage neutron spectra using the evaluated nuclear data of^(9)Be from the CENDL-3.2,ENDF/B-Ⅷ.0,JENDL-5,and JEFF-3.3 libraries.The simulated results of the leakage neutron spectra were compared with the experimental results,and the results showed that in the elastic scattering energy region,the simulated results from the CENDL-3.2,ENDF/B-Ⅷ.0,and JENDL-5 libraries were slightly higher at small angles and slightly lower at large angles.In the(n,2n)energy region,the simulated results from the CENDL-3.2 library were significantly different from the experimental results in terms of spectral shape,and the simulated results from the ENDF/B-Ⅷ.0 and the JENDL-5 libraries were in good agreement with the experimental results at small angles but low at large angles.The simulated results from the JEFF-3.3 library showed serious underestimation at all angles.展开更多

An orthogonal genetic algorithm is developed for solving the binary linear implicit programming problem based on the orthogonal design. The orthogonal design with the factor analysis, an experimental design method is applied to the genetic algorithm to make the algorithm more robust, statistical y sound and quickly convergent. A crossover operator formed by the orthogonal array and the factor analysis is presented. First, this crossover operator can generate a smal but representative sample of points as offspring. After al of the better genes of these offspring are selected, a best combination among these offspring is then generated. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.展开更多
For capturing and recycling of CO_(2)in the internal combustion engine,Rankle cycle engine can reduce the exhaust pollutants effectively under the condition of ensuring the engine thermal efficiency by using the techn...For capturing and recycling of CO_(2)in the internal combustion engine,Rankle cycle engine can reduce the exhaust pollutants effectively under the condition of ensuring the engine thermal efficiency by using the techniques of spraying water in the cylinder and optimizing the ignition advance angle.However,due to the water spray nozzle need to be installed on the cylinder,which increases the cylinder head design difficulty and makes the combustion conditions become more complicated.In this paper,a new method is presented to carry out the closing inlet and exhaust system for internal combustion engines.The proposed new method uses liquid oxygen to solidify part of cooled CO_(2)from exhaust system into dry ice and the liquid oxygen turns into gas oxygen which is sent to inlet system.The other part of CO_(2)is sent to inlet system and mixed with oxygen,which can reduce the oxygen-enriched combustion detonation tendency and make combustion stable.Computing grid of the IP52FMI single-cylinder four-stroke gasoline-engine is established according to the actual shape of the combustion chamber using KIVA-3V program.The effects of exhaust gas recirculation(EGR)rate are analyzed on the temperatures,the pressures and the instantaneous heat release rates when the EGR rate is more than 8%.The possibility of enclosing intake and exhaust system for engine is verified.The carbon dioxide trapping device is designed and the IP52FMI engine is transformed and the CO_(2)capture experiment is carried out.The experimental results show that when the EGR rate is 36%for the optimum EGR rate.When the liquid oxygen of 35.80-437.40 g is imported into the device and last 1-20 min,respectively,21.50-701.30 g dry ice is obtained.This research proposes a new design method which can capture CO_(2)for vehicular internal combustion engine.展开更多

In this work we propose a predictor-corrector interior-point algorithm for convex quadratic programming. It is proved that the algorithm is equivalent to a level-1 perturbed composite Newton method. Dynamic programming (DP) and genetic algorithm (GA) are two representative algorithms for solving...The hydro unit economic load dispatch (ELD) is of great importance in energy conservation and emission reduction. Dynamic programming (DP) and genetic algorithm (GA) are two representative algorithms for solving ELD problems. The goal of this study was to examine the performance of DP and GA while they were applied to ELD. We established numerical experiments to conduct performance comparisons between DP and GA with two given schemes. The schemes included comparing the CPU time of the algorithms when they had the same solution quality, and comparing the solution quality when they had the same CPU time. The numerical experiments were applied to the Three Gorges Reservoir in China, which is equipped with 26 hydro generation units. We found the relation between the performance of algorithms and the number of units through experiments. Results show that GA is adept at searching for optimal solutions in low-dimensional cases. In some cases, such as with a number of units of less than 10, GA's performance is superior to that of a coarse-grid DP. However, GA loses its superiority in high-dimensional cases. DP is powerful in obtaining stable and high-quality solutions. Its performance can be maintained even while searching over a large solution space. Nevertheless, due to its exhaustive enumerating nature, it costs excess time in low-dimensional cases.展开更多

Schistosomiasis was one of the most prevalent severe infectious diseases in China.Most ot the control plans implemented were based on local settings;thus,the national schistosomiasis control program involved different...Schistosomiasis was one of the most prevalent severe infectious diseases in China.Most ot the control plans implemented were based on local settings;thus,the national schistosomiasis control program involved different control phases.These included a working mechanism based on multisectoral cooperation which involved government at all levels,communities,and professionals.It also involved updating the technical strategies and interventions through intensive research,to provide adequate support for programs at different stageswith changing natural and social features.To commemorate the 61st anniversary of publishing Chairman Mao Zedong's two poems titled Farewell to the God of Plague,we have distilled lessons leamt from national schistosomiasis control programs,which could be transferred to other endemic countries.Based on this work,we published a series of articles to demonstrate the successive programs in different areas or levels in China,and also discussed how best to apply those successive experiences into African countries where schistosomiasis is still a public health problem.There are three major lessons learnt from the Chinese national schistosomiasis control program over the last six decades:(1) sustained commitment by the Chinese governments,from central to local levels;(2) continuous update of control strategies and interventions applied at the village level,based on local settings;and (3) maintaining surveillance-response systems implementation in programs at all levels.With sustained efforts,only 37,000 patients including 2.9% advanced patient cases were found in the country,with six provinces out of the 12 endemic provinces yet to achieve transmission interruption,based on the epidemiological report in 2017.Therefore,Chinese experiences in disease control program are sufficient to promote disease control programs in other developing countries,which would also improve the visibility of Chinese contribution to the world disease control programs.Pursuit of this global engagement will also provide the impetus to maintain our surveillance-response capacity in the post-elimination stage.展开更多
