The idea of network splitting according to time delay and weight is introduced.Based on the cyber physical systems(CPS),a class of multi-weighted complex transportation networks with multiple delays is modeled.The finite-time synchronization of the proposed complex transportation networks model is studied systematically.On the basis of the theory of stability,the technique of adaptive control,aperiodically intermittent control and finite-time control,the aperiodically intermittent adaptive finite-time synchronization controller is designed.The controller designed in this paper is beneficial for understanding the synchronization in multi-weighted complex transportation networks with multiple delays.In addition,the conditions for the existence of finite time synchronization have been discussed in detail.And the specific value of the settling finite time for synchronization is obtained.Moreover,the outer coupling configuration matrices are not required to be irreducible or symmetric.Finally,simulation results of the finite-time synchronization problem are given to illustrate the correctness of the results obtained. 展开更多

An appropriate controller is designed such that this type of network can be synchronized within a finite time. By constructing a proper Lyapunov function and using the finite-time stability theory, the sufficient conditions for the network to achieve finite-time synchronization are given and the finite time is estimated. Finally, the conclusions obtained are extended to the case of homogeneous complex networks with time-varying delays and uncertain disturbance. 展开更多

This paper studies the finite-time synchronization of fractional-order chaotic systems with different structures under parameter disturbance and external disturbance. We put forward a fractional-order controller that can achieve the finite-time synchronization of any-order fractional-order chaotic systems under stochastic disturbances. This controller has good robustness and anti-interference performance. With the concept of the finite-time stability theory given, some judgment criterions for the synchronization of fractional-order chaotic systems are proved. This method can not only make the error systems have a faster convergence rate but also can be implemented in engineering easily. The numerical simulations of two specific examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the method. At the same time, the synchronised time of finite-time synchronization is shorter and faster than the complete synchronization and the time can be adjusted according to the parameters in the controller. 展开更多

Under the existence of system uncertainties and external disturbances,finite-time synchronization between two FO chaotic and hyperchaotic systems is achieved by introducing a novel adaptive sliding mode controller(ASMC). Here in this paper, a fractional sliding surface is proposed. A stability criterion for FO nonlinear dynamic systems is introduced. Sufficient conditions to guarantee stable synchronization are given in the sense of the Lyapunov stability theorem. To tackle the uncertainties and external disturbances, appropriate adaptation laws are introduced. Particle swarm optimization(PSO) is used for estimating the controller parameters. Finally, finite-time synchronization of the FO chaotic and hyper-chaotic systems is applied to secure communication. 展开更多

The fixed-time and finite-time synchronization protocols are presented based on continuous controller strategies which can efficaciously eliminate chattering phenomenon existing in some previous results. Several sufficient conditions ensuring fixed-time and finite-time synchronization are derived by employing Lyapunov stability theory, linear matrix inequality (LMI) and adaptive technique. Furthermore, aimed at the model of this article, we study the problem of adaptive coupling strength in fixed-time synchronization which is rarely involved in previous results. This article investigates the asymptotic and finite-time synchronization of fractional-order multiplex neural networks with multiple delays.Initially,a novel extended Halanay-type inequality for fractional-order differential equations with multiple delays is developed.Based on this framework,conditions are derived to achieve asymptotic synchronization by designing adaptive control schemes.Subsequently,novel sufficient criteria for achieving finite-time synchronization are established by introducing a hybrid control protocol that incorporates the Lyapunov method,inequality techniques,and a reduction to absurdity approach.Furthermore,the settling time for synchronization is explicitly estimated.In addition,the proposed methods are extended to in-vestigate asymptotic and finite-time synchronization for fractional-order multiplex neural networks with delay-free.In particular,the results represent a significant extension of the corresponding cases for integer-order systems.Finally,numerical simulations are provided to verify the theoretical findings.These results offer valuable insights into the synchronization of fractional-order networks with multiple delays,paving the way for scalable and practical solutions in areas such as secure communication and cross-layer integration in neural networks. 展开更多

This paper is concerned with the finite-time dissipative synchronization control problem of semi-Markov switched cyber-physical systems in the presence of packet losses, which is constructed by the Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy model. To save the network communication burden, a distributed dynamic event-triggered mechanism is developed to restrain the information update. Besides, random packet dropouts following the Bernoulli distribution are assumed to occur in sensor to controller channels, where the triggered control input is analyzed via an equivalent method containing a new stochastic variable. By establishing the mode-dependent Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional with augmented terms, the finite-time boundness of the error system limited to strict dissipativity is studied. As a result of the help of an extended reciprocally convex matrix inequality technique, less conservative criteria in terms of linear matrix inequalities are deduced to calculate the desired control gains. Finally, two examples in regard to practical systems are provided to display the effectiveness of the proposed theory. 展开更多

This paper propose a comprehensive data-driven prediction framework based on machine learning methods to investigate the lag synchronization phenomenon in coupled chaotic systems,particularly in cases where accurate mathematical models are challenging to establish or where system equations remain unknown.The Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)neural network is trained using time series acquired from the desynchronization system states,subsequently predicting the lag synchronization transition.In the experiments,we focus on the Lorenz system with time-varying delayed coupling,studying the effects of coupling coefficients and time delays on lag synchronization,respectively.The results indicate that with appropriate training,the machine learning model can adeptly predict the lag synchronization occurrence and transition.This study not only enhances our comprehension of complex network synchronization behaviors but also underscores the potential and practical applications of machine learning in exploring nonlinear dynamic systems. 展开更多

Intercepting high-maneuverability hypersonic targets in near-space environments poses significant challenges due to their extreme speeds and evasive capabilities.To address these challenges,this study presents an integrated approach that combines a Three-Dimensional Finite-Time Optimal Cooperative Guidance Law(FTOC)with an Information Fusion Anti-saturation Predefined-time Observer(IFAPO).The proposed FTOC guidance law employs a nonlinear,non-quadratic finite-time optimal control strategy designed for rapid convergence within the limited timeframes of near-space interceptions,avoiding the need for remaining flight time estimation or linear decoupling inherent in traditional methods.To complement the guidance strategy,the IFAPO leverages multi-source information fusion theory and incorporates anti-saturation mechanisms to enhance target maneuver estimation.This method ensures accurate and real-time prediction of target acceleration while maintaining predefined convergence performance,even under complex interception conditions.By integrating the FTOC guidance law and IFAPO,the approach optimizes cooperative missile positioning,improves interception success rates,and minimizes fuel consumption,addressing practical constraints in military applications.Simulation results and comparative analyses confirm the effectiveness of the integrated approach,demonstrating its capability to achieve cooperative interception of highly maneuvering targets with enhanced efficiency and reduced economic costs,aligning with realistic combat scenarios. 展开更多

Complex networks play a crucial role in the study of collective behavior,encompassing the analysis of dynamical properties and network topology.In real-world systems,higher-order interactions among multiple entities are widespread and significantly influence collective dynamics.Here,we extend the synchronization alignment function framework to hypergraphs of arbitrary order by leveraging the multi-order Laplacian matrix to encode higher-order interactions.Our findings reveal that the upper bound of synchronous behavior is determined by the maximum eigenvalue of the multi-order Laplacian matrix.Furthermore,we decompose the contribution of each hyperedge to this eigenvalue and utilize it as a basis for designing an eigenvalue-based topology modification algorithm.This algorithm effectively enhances the upper bound of synchronous behavior without altering the total number of higher-order interactions.Our study provides new insights into dynamical optimization and topology tuning in hypergraphs,advancing the understanding of the interplay between higher-order interactions and collective dynamics. 展开更多

For large-scale heterogeneous multi-agent systems(MASs)with characteristics of dense-sparse mixed distribution,this paper investigates the practical finite-time deployment problem by establishing a novel crossspecies bionic analytical framework based on the partial differential equation-ordinary differential equation(PDE-ODE)approach.Specifically,by designing a specialized network communication protocol and employing the spatial continuum method for densely distributed agents,this paper models the tracking errors of densely distributed agents as a PDE equivalent to a human disease transmission model,and that of sparsely distributed agents as several ODEs equivalent to the predator population models.The coupling relationship between the PDE and ODE models is established through boundary conditions of the PDE,thereby forming a PDE-ODE-based tracking error model for the considered MASs.Furthermore,by integrating adaptive neural control scheme with the aforementioned biological models,a“Flexible Neural Network”endowed with adaptive and self-stabilized capabilities is constructed,which acts upon the considered MASs,enabling their practical finite-time deployment.Finally,effectiveness of the developed approach is illustrated through a numerical example. 展开更多

Recently,large-scale trapped ion systems have been realized in experiments for quantum simulation and quantum computation.They are the simplest systems for dynamical stability and parametric resonance.In this model,the Mathieu equation plays the most fundamental role for us to understand the stability and instability of a single ion.In this work,we investigate the dynamics of trapped ions with the Coulomb interaction based on the Hamiltonian equation.We show that the many-body interaction will not influence the phase diagram for instability.Then,the dynamics of this model in the large damping limit will also be analytically calculated using few trapped ions.Furthermore,we find that in the presence of modulation,synchronization dynamics can be observed,showing an exchange of velocities between distant ions on the left side and on the right side of the trap.These dynamics resemble that of the exchange of velocities in Newton's cradle for the collision of balls at the same time.These dynamics are independent of their initial conditions and the number of ions.As a unique feature of the interacting Mathieu equation,we hope this behavior,which leads to a quasi-periodic solution,can be measured in current experimental systems.Finally,we have also discussed the effect of anharmonic trapping potential,showing the desynchronization during the collision process.It is hoped that the dynamics in this many-body Mathieu equation with damping may find applications in quantum simulations.This model may also find interesting applications in dynamics systems as a pure mathematical problem,which may be beyond the results in the Floquet theorem. 展开更多
