The traditional Feng Shui pattern embodies rich ecological wisdom and philosophical thoughts,which are of great significance to the modern sustainable space design.The core concepts of Feng Shui patterns from traditio...The traditional Feng Shui pattern embodies rich ecological wisdom and philosophical thoughts,which are of great significance to the modern sustainable space design.The core concepts of Feng Shui patterns from traditional civilization can provide a theoretical foundation and research framework for this study.By integrating these principles,such as“hiding the wind and gathering the Qi”and“backing the mountain and facing the water”,a functional relationship between urban structures can be established.This approach can help optimize the spatial layout of urban elements,minimize energy consumption,and enhance environmental comfort.It also examines the influence of the ShanShui City pattern in traditional Feng Shui on guiding the development of modern urban ecological networks,as well as its role in protecting and restoring biodiversity through ecological corridors and ecological nodes.The modern urban design of traditional Feng Shui culture focuses on the inheritance and innovation of riotous things and the combination of traditional Feng Shui concepts and modern design concepts to form ecological spaces with cultural connotation.This paper hopes to give some inspiration or methods for contemporary urban design and to reconcile the relationship between human and nature through these thoughts.展开更多

This study aimed to investigate the mechanisms of Yu-Ping-Feng-San(YPFS) on attenuating allergic inflammation in the initial stage of atopic dermatitis(AD). AD mouse model was established with fluorescein isothiocyana...This study aimed to investigate the mechanisms of Yu-Ping-Feng-San(YPFS) on attenuating allergic inflammation in the initial stage of atopic dermatitis(AD). AD mouse model was established with fluorescein isothiocyanate(FITC) sensitization and elicitation. Epithelial barrier structure was observed with transmission electron microscope. The populations of dendritic cells(DCs)and group 2 innate lymphoid cells(ILC2 s) were detected by flow cytometry. Human immortalized keratinocyte(Ha Ca T) cells were stimulated with Poly(I:C)/TNF-α in vitro to assess thymic stromal lymphopoietin(TSLP), interleukin(IL)-33 and nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB) levels or expressions by immunofluorescence, enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) and western blot. In the initial stage of AD, ear swelling and infiltration of inflammatory cells in ear tissues were markedly attenuated with YPFS treatments. The damaged structures of ear epithelium and the increased levels of Th2-cytokines induced by FITC were significantly rescued in YPFS-treated mice. The production of pro-allergic cytokines, TSLP and IL-33, as well as the cell populations of their target cells DCs and ILC2 s were decreased in AD model, respectively. Likewise, the levels of TSLP and IL-33 in Poly(I:C)/TNF-α-stimulated HaCaT cells showed the same results. Lower levels of p-NF-κB were detected with YPFS treatment, and the expressions of TSLP and IL-33 could be further decreased with inhibiting of NF-κB. Therefore, YPFS attenuates allergic inflammation in the initial stage of AD probably through regulating NF-κB-TSLP/IL-33 pathway, which may provide a novel effective target for the prevention and treatment of allergic diseases.展开更多
The purification efficiency of eutrophic water by five aqua-cultured plants(Chlorophytum comosum, Salix babylonica, Dracaena sanderiana, Myriophyllum verticillatum, Alternanthera philoxeroides) in Lake Hongfeng, China...The purification efficiency of eutrophic water by five aqua-cultured plants(Chlorophytum comosum, Salix babylonica, Dracaena sanderiana, Myriophyllum verticillatum, Alternanthera philoxeroides) in Lake Hongfeng, China, was investigated. The results indicated that the biomass of Myriophyllum verticillatum and Alternanthera philoxeroides reached the highest level in 87 days after transplant. The removal efficiencies of total nitrate(TN), total phosphorus(TP), chemical oxygen demand(CODCr), and chlorophyll(Chl-a) by the plants ranged from 44% to 96%. The Secchi depth(SD) increased from 0.08-0.1 m to 1.3-3.2 m for the experiments with five cultivars of aqua-cultured plants. Purification efficiency of eutrophic water correlated significantly, in a positive way, with biomass amount and plant productivity. The Carlson's trophic state indexes decreased from 76 to 21 when the cultivar was Myriophyllum verticillatum, suggesting that Myriophyllum verticillatum can be selected as the plant to remediate karst drainage areas of Guizhou Plateau, where the water body underwent eutrophication. The research results provided a good case for lake environmental management and recovery in karst areas of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, China.展开更多

Although Rebecca and Xi-feng live in different times, they are quite similar in their characters and destinies, and are often referred as representatives of awakened female. This dissertation in tends to conduct a cross-culture comparison between Rebecca and Xi-feng by answering the following questions: 1) what are the historical and individual causes of the feminine awakening of Rebecca and Xi-feng; 2) what are the similarities between Re becca's and Xi-feng's feminine consciousness? 3) What are the differences between Rebecca and A Dream of Red Mansions in dis playing characters' feminine consciousness?By adopting parallel comparative research method, the study finds that: 1) the feminine consciousness of Rebecca and Xifeng stems from both trends of thoughts at that time and their relatively free and open growing environment; 2) the similarity be tween them is that they have similar androgynous characteristics, which reflect the authors' pursuit of an integrated human identi ty; 3) the individuality of Rebecca lies in the characterization techniques, namely the narrative perspective and dual texts, which imply both protest and surrender under the grim reality; in A Dream of Red Mansions, Xi-feng does not form clear feminine con sciousness, instead she become a defender and victim of patriarchal culture.The author hopes that this comparative study between two literary characters can bring a new light to the study of two mas terpieces and help readers to differentiate patterns of feminine consciousness as well as to gain a better perception of feminist value in wider context.展开更多

Hong Lou Meng is one of the most important works in Chinese classical novels,and the author,Cao Xueqin,gave his own understanding of the feudal society and his exclamation of the fickleness of the world in the novel.U...Hong Lou Meng is one of the most important works in Chinese classical novels,and the author,Cao Xueqin,gave his own understanding of the feudal society and his exclamation of the fickleness of the world in the novel.Up to now,the novel and the poems in the novel are still of high artistic value.Qiu Chuang Feng Yu Xi,as one of the most artistic and representative poems in the novel,has been translated into English by many translators.Among the translations,Yang Xianyi’s translation and David Hawkes’translation have the highest artistic achievements.Yang Xianyi is a famous Chinese translator and David Hawkes is a world-renowned sinologist in Britain.Because of their distinct identities,their translation purposes and translation styles are totally different.Guided by German translator Hans Vermeer’s Skopos Theory,this paper investigates the prologues of the translations of Hong Lou Meng and the translators’biographies.The findings indicate the respective translation purposes of Yang Xianyi and David Hawkes and their trade-off choices of translation methods.By means of objectively evaluation of the merits and demerits of the two translation versions of Qiu Chuang Feng Yu Xi,the rationality of existence of the translations in a specific cultural background is explained.It is proved that Skopos Theory is one of the general methods for the English translation of poems in Chinese classical novels.展开更多

The results indicated that the biomass of Myriophyllum verticillatum and Alternanthera philoxeroides reached the highest level in 87 days after transplant. The removal efficiencies of total nitrate(TN), total phosphorus(TP), chemical oxygen demand(CODCr), and chlorophyll(Chl-a) by the plants ranged from 44% to 96%. The Secchi depth(SD) increased from 0.08-0.1 m to 1.3-3.2 m for the experiments with five cultivars of aqua-cultured plants. Purification efficiency of eutrophic water correlated significantly, in a positive way, with biomass amount and plant productivity. The Carlson's trophic state indexes decreased from 76 to 21 when the cultivar was Myriophyllum verticillatum, suggesting that Myriophyllum verticillatum can be selected as the plant to remediate karst drainage areas of Guizhou Plateau, where the water body underwent eutrophication. The research results provided a good case for lake environmental management and recovery in karst areas of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, China.

文摘In Rebecca and A Dream of Red Mansions, the authors create two similar female characters — Rebecca and Wang Xifeng,who have aroused numerous discussions among scholars. Although Rebecca and Xi-feng live in different times, they are quite similar in their characters and destinies, and are often referred as representatives of awakened female. This dissertation in tends to conduct a cross-culture comparison between Rebecca and Xi-feng by answering the following questions: 1) what are the historical and individual causes of the feminine awakening of Rebecca and Xi-feng; 2) what are the similarities between Re becca's and Xi-feng's feminine consciousness? 3) What are the differences between Rebecca and A Dream of Red Mansions in dis playing characters' feminine consciousness?By adopting parallel comparative research method, the study finds that: 1) the feminine consciousness of Rebecca and Xifeng stems from both trends of thoughts at that time and their relatively free and open growing environment; 2) the similarity be tween them is that they have similar androgynous characteristics, which reflect the authors' pursuit of an integrated human identi ty; 3) the individuality of Rebecca lies in the characterization techniques, namely the narrative perspective and dual texts, which imply both protest and surrender under the grim reality; in A Dream of Red Mansions, Xi-feng does not form clear feminine con sciousness, instead she become a defender and victim of patriarchal culture.The author hopes that this comparative study between two literary characters can bring a new light to the study of two mas terpieces and help readers to differentiate patterns of feminine consciousness as well as to gain a better perception of feminist value in wider context.

During or after the dispersion, sulfate ion can interact with Fe atom on the surface of iron oxide to form a sort of surface sulfato complex of Fe and thus is transformed from the isolated into the bidentately bound form. Above 573 K the sulfato complex of Fe will gradually decompose with a further increase in temperature.

文摘Hong Lou Meng is one of the most important works in Chinese classical novels,and the author,Cao Xueqin,gave his own understanding of the feudal society and his exclamation of the fickleness of the world in the novel.Up to now,the novel and the poems in the novel are still of high artistic value.Qiu Chuang Feng Yu Xi,as one of the most artistic and representative poems in the novel,has been translated into English by many translators.Among the translations,Yang Xianyi’s translation and David Hawkes’translation have the highest artistic achievements.Yang Xianyi is a famous Chinese translator and David Hawkes is a world-renowned sinologist in Britain.Because of their distinct identities,their translation purposes and translation styles are totally different.Guided by German translator Hans Vermeer’s Skopos Theory,this paper investigates the prologues of the translations of Hong Lou Meng and the translators’biographies.The findings indicate the respective translation purposes of Yang Xianyi and David Hawkes and their trade-off choices of translation methods.By means of objectively evaluation of the merits and demerits of the two translation versions of Qiu Chuang Feng Yu Xi,the rationality of existence of the translations in a specific cultural background is explained.It is proved that Skopos Theory is one of the general methods for the English translation of poems in Chinese classical novels.
