Different additives were added into the potassium fluorozirconate solution to prepare different nickelfree sealing reagents,with which the anodic oxidation film of aluminum alloy was sealed at room temperature.The pho...Different additives were added into the potassium fluorozirconate solution to prepare different nickelfree sealing reagents,with which the anodic oxidation film of aluminum alloy was sealed at room temperature.The phosphor chromic acid weight loss method was used to evaluate the sealing effects.Using electron scanning microscopy(SEM),the surface and cross-sectional micromorphologies of the anodic oxidation films sealed by different fluorozirconate sealants were observed.The position and state of zirconium element distribution in the film hole were investigated by the further quantitative and distribution analysis of Zr element.This study provides an experimental evidence for the theoretical studies of fluorozirconate-sealed anodic oxidation films.It is shown that the fluorozirconate has good sealing effects and has a wide prospect for sealing the aluminum alloy samples.Its products were highly corrosion resistant,and were filled in the openings of the micropores in the oxide film.展开更多

X-ray diffraction, pho- toluminescence, photo-stimulated luminescence (PSL) and the turbidity of fluorozirconate glass containing BaCl2 nano- and micro-crystals were measured for the samples annealed at 290℃ for 10 rain The PSL was attributed to the characteristic emission of Eu2+ in nano-crystallites of BaCI2, which formed in the glass upon annealing. The PSL efficiency of the glass ceramic was increased by increasing the concentration of BaCl2, which, however, resulted in the decreasing in the transparency of the sample. The sample turned to a semi-transparent glass ceramic or even an opaque and milky white one from a near-transparent glass. The trade-off between optical transparency and PSL intensity over different concentrations of BaCl2 for X-ray imaging plate applications was briefly discussed.展开更多
A zirconium-titanium based amino trimethylene phosphonate hybrid coating on AA6061 aluminum alloys was formed by dipping in a fluorotitanate/zirconate acid and amino trimethylene phosphonic acid (ATMP) solution for ...A zirconium-titanium based amino trimethylene phosphonate hybrid coating on AA6061 aluminum alloys was formed by dipping in a fluorotitanate/zirconate acid and amino trimethylene phosphonic acid (ATMP) solution for improving the lacquer adhesion and corrosion resistance as a substitute of chromate coatings. The morphology and structure of the hybrid coating were studied by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The surface composition and structure characteristics were also investigated by means of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Fourier transformation infra-red spectroscopy (FTIR). The results of SEM and AFM show that the hybrid coating present piece particle distribution which is much denser than that of the zirconium-titanium coating. The results of XPS and FTIR indicate that the hybrid coating is a hybrid composite structure composed of both the zirconium-titanium and amino trimethylene phosphonate coatings.展开更多
It is interesting to explore a novel oxyfluoride glass with good glass stability to be applied in optical communication and optical windows at infrared(IR)wavelength.We demonstrated a new glass of Ga_(2)O_(3)-doped Zr...It is interesting to explore a novel oxyfluoride glass with good glass stability to be applied in optical communication and optical windows at infrared(IR)wavelength.We demonstrated a new glass of Ga_(2)O_(3)-doped ZrF_(4)-BaF_(2)-LaF_(3)-AlF_(3)-NaF(ZBLAN)glass using a melt-quenched technique.The effect of Ga_(2)O_(3)-doping on glass properties and structure was characterized by differential thermal analysis(DTA),IR spectra,Raman spectra,and X-ray diffraction(XRD).It is found that the glass thermal stability(ΔT)increases by 14% when the addition of Ga_(2)O_(3) reaches 1mol%.With the increase of Ga_(2)O_(3) content,the density and refractive index of the glasses increase.Ga_(2)O_(3)-doping does not affect the IR cut-off edge and maintains the transmittance near 90% in the range of 2.5-5μm,which is almost equal to the undoped sample.Ga_(2)O_(3)-doping hardly changes the initial coordinated structure of Zr^(4+)according to the results of IR spectra and Raman spectra.Ga^(3+)holds in the interstice site of the network coordinated with F^(-)and the part of O_(2)-introduced by Ga_(2)O_(3) is coordinated with Al^(3+)forming Al-O bond.This study offers a new glass composition that may be potentially used in fabricating mid-IR optical fiber and large-size glasses for IR windows.展开更多
