The purpose of this study was to clarify the attributes of family spirituality and the influencing factors of its decline. Methods: Regarding family spirituality, 1) a literature search was conducted using PubMed and reviews of 20 English-language articles;and 2) semi-structured interviews were conducted with 12 Japanese families having elderly members in the household. Data triangulation was performed for both, and a directed content analysis was conducted using Hohashi’s Concentric Sphere Family Environment Theory as the framework. Results: Attributes of family spirituality included 21 categories, such as “I think that my family exists for my children and grandchildren.” Factors influencing the decline in family spirituality included 20 categories in total, including 6 categories of risk/causal/promoting factors such as “lack of caring for family members”;11 categories of preventive/inhibitory/suppression factors such as “healthcare professionals not being close to the family”;and three categories of context-sensitive factors such as “death of a family member.” Conclusions/Implications for Practice: Family intervention requires nurses to understand the attributes of family spirituality and to control the influencing factors of a decline in family spirituality. Through such efforts, families will be able to discover the meaning of the existence of the family and maintain and improve their well-being.展开更多

文摘Wax gourd(Benincasa hispida)is an important cucurbit crop with economic and medicinal value. The myeloblastosis(MYB)gene family is one of the largest gene families in plants and regulates various biological processes, whereas the MYB gene family has not been systematically studied in wax gourd. In this study,we performed genome-wide identification of the MYB gene family in wax gourd and analyzed their phylogenetic relationship,MYB DNA-binding domain(MYB DBD),gene structure, protein motif, synteny, duplication mode and expression pattern. As a result,a total of 215 BhMYB genes(BhMYBs)were identified, belonging to four subfamilies:1R-,2R-,3R-and 4R-MYB subfamilies.Genes of 1R-MYB subfamily and 2R-MYB subfamily were subdivided into different subgroups respectively. The analysis of MYB DBD,gene structure and protein motif showed that the most genes in the same subgroup had similar characteristics and the 2R-MYB genes were more conserved than the 1R-MYB genes.Interestingly, the long terminal retrotransposons(LTR-RTs)were found in the long introns of several BhMYBs.The results of synteny analysis showed that there were more syntenic gene pairs between wax gourd and other cucurbit crops, while the least number of syntenic gene pairs existed between wax gourd and rice.Gene duplication was the main reason for the expansion of the MYB gene family in wax gourd, with the transposed duplication(TRD)mode contributing more. All duplication BhMYB genes were under purifying selection pressure.Further expression analysis showed that many BhMYBs exhibited obvious tissue-specific expression and several BhMYBs were significantly induced by one or more abiotic stresses.BhMYB79 was particularly expressed in roots and significantly induced by salt, drought, cold and heat stresses, overexpression of which led to reduced tolerance to salt stress in Arabidopsis. In conclusion, our results provide a systematic analysis of wax gourd MYB gene family and facilitate the biological role study of BhMYB79 during wax gourd salt stress response process.
文摘The analysis of the historical and theoretical origins of the dual identity of Chinese women based on the Marxist view of family-society enables a more scientific and reasonable explanation to the unity of history and logic of Chinese women’s dual identity.Under the guidance of the Marxist concept of family-society,Chinese women will achieve development in both family space and social space;meanwhile,Chinese women in the dual identity development carry the home-state emotion different from that of western women’s;cultivating women’s awareness of family identity is of great significance to the construction of family style or national style in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

文摘Objectives:Suicidal ideation(SI)among university students is a growing concern, influenced by anxiety, depression, and bullying. However, family closeness and peer support may act as protective factors, reducing the risk of SI.Therefore, this study aims to investigate the key factors influencing SI among university students, focusing on the effects of anxiety, depression, and bullying, along with the roles of family closeness and peer support. The research also explores the interactions and mechanisms between these variables. Methods:A sample of 318 university students was surveyed, evaluating six main factors:anxiety, depression, bullying, family closeness, peer support, and SI.Using the Structural Equation Modeling(SEM)and Artificial Neural Networks(ANN)approach, both compensatory and non-compensatory relationships were examined. Results:Anxiety, depression, and bullying significantly contribute to SI,with depression mediating the link between anxiety, bullying, and SI.Additionally, family closeness moderates the effects of anxiety and bullying on SI,while peer supportmoderates the effects of depression and bullying.Themultilayer perceptron analysis identifies peer support as the most influential predictor, followed by bullying, family closeness, depression, and anxiety. Conclusion:The study identifies anxiety, depression, and bullying as key factors influencing suicidal ideation(SI)among university students.Family closeness and peer support act as protective factors, moderating the effects of these variables on SI.
文摘Objective:To investigate the dynamic trajectory, predictors, and underlying adaptation mechanisms of family resilience(FR)among Chinese families with preterm infants(PIs)from birth to six months. Methods:Guided by Ecological Systems Theory,a convergent parallel mixed-methods study was conducted in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit(NICU)of a tertiary hospital in Fujian Province,China, from June 2023 to June 2024.Quantitative data were collected from 202 caregivers selected by convenience sampling at four time points:at birth(T0),42 days postpartum(T1),3 months postpartum(T2),and 6 months postpartum(T3).Generalized Estimating Equations(GEE)was used to analyze scale score differences across time points and explore factors influencing FR.Qualitative data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 14 caregivers recruited by maximum variation purposive sampling and analyzed using Colaizzi’s phenomenological approach. After conducting separate data analyses, the findings were integrated through side-by-side comparison and joint display. Results:Quantitative results revealed a non-linear,“V”-shaped trajectory of FR,significantly influenced by educational level, conception via assisted reproduction, farming occupation, coping style, psychological resilience, family functioning, and social support.Qualitative findings identified four themes:initial uncertainty and emotional distress,post-discharge anxiety, gradual adaptation, and eventual stabilization.Integrated mixed-methods findings revealed that the initial confusion phase demands a comprehensive response to family needs(T0);the post-discharge bottleneck requires addressing the care capability-needs gap(T1);the role adaptation phase is pivotal for enhancing internal family resources(T2);and the family-work transition necessitates enhanced work-family facilitation(T3).Conclusions:This study systematically identifies the unique“V”-shaped trajectory of FR in Chinese families with PIs and its key influencing factors, and accurately analyzes their dynamic experiences and adaptation across four stages. These findings provide an empirical basis for stage-specific targeted interventions, strongly support the practical advancement of the family-centered care model, and deliver critical guidance for enhancing FR.

文摘5-Aminolevulinic acid(ALA)is a novel plant growth regulator that has shown outstanding capability to promote stomatal opening.Starch degradation, catalyzed byβ-amylase(EC3.2.1.2,BAM),plays an important role in stomatal opening. However, whether the starch breakdown is involved in ALA-regulating stomatal movement is unclear. In the current study,we found that exogenous ALA effectively stimulated the starch breakdown in guard cells,increasedβ-amylase activity and promoted stomatal opening in leaves of apple(Malus×domestica).Based on genome-wide identification,we identified a total of 119 members of BAM gene family in ten commonly Rosaceae crops.Analyses of gene structure, motif identification, and gene pair collinearity revealed relative conservation among members within the same group or subgroup.Among these genes,MdBAM17 and other 12 genes were identified as the orthologous genes of AtBAM1,which is responsible for starch degradation to modulate the stomatal movement in Arabidopsis.qRT-PCR analysis revealed a positive correlation between the expressions of MdBAM17 and stomatal aperture,as well asβ-amylase activity, whereas a negative correlation was observed with the starch content.Subcellular localization analysis confirmed that MdBAM17 is a chloroplast protein, consistent with the AtBAM1.MdBAM17 was mainly expressed in guard cells and responsive to exogenous ALA.Overexpressing MdBAM17 increasedβ-amylase activity and promoted starch breakdown, leading to stomatal opening, which was further strengthened by ALA.RNA-interfering MdBAM17 decreasedβ-amylase activity, resulting in starch accumulation, and impairing the stomatal opening by ALA.However, modulation of MdBAM17 expression did not affect the levels of flavonols and H_(2)O_(2)in guard cells, suggesting that MdBAM17-promoted starch degradation may function at downstream of ROS signaling in the ALAregulated stomatal opening. Our findings provide new insights into the mechanisms of ALA-regulated stomatal movement.

文摘Bud endodormancy represents an ecological adaptation mechanism in perennial deciduous fruit trees to endure winter cold conditions.Sucrose serves a crucial role in bud endodormancy as both an energy metabolizer and signaling molecule.Sugars Will Eventually be Exported Transporters(SWEETs)function as sugar-efflux transporters that respond to environmental stimuli and contribute to plant growth and development. While SWEET gene families have been identified in various plant species for sugar transport regulation, their mechanism in regulating peach bud endodormancy remains undefined. In this study,we identified 15 SWEET genes in peach. The nomenclature was established through homologous alignment with the Arabidopsis SWEET gene family, resulting in four distinct clades through phylogenetic analysis.Covariance correlation analysis revealed 6 and 12 collinear SWEET genes in peach and Arabidopsis, respectively, forming 13 collinear gene pairs.Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)analysis demonstrated significantly elevated expression of PpSWEET6 during peach bud endodormancy release, correlating positively with sucrose content.Transient overexpression of PpSWEET6 enhanced peach bud endodormancy release, while overexpressing PpSWEET6 in Arabidopsis enhanced seed germination and flowering.Y2H and luciferase complementation imaging(LCI)assays confirmed PpSWEET6 interacted with PpABF2.Additionally,dual luciferase reporter(DLR)assays showed that PpSWEET6 significantly decreased the activation of PpDAM6(key dormancy-inducing gene)through PpABF2,thereby modulating peach bud endodormancy release. These findings advance our understanding of SWEET genes in peach bud endodormancy regulation.
