We compared the change in the emotional state of 270 participants, using the Japanese version of the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS), before and after the intervention. The intervention conditions included: verbal description of one’s positive future on a worksheet (the language description condition), and imagining one’s positive future (the imagery condition). The results of the experiment showed that after the intervention, the scores of the imagery group on the positive and negative affect scales of the PANAS were significantly higher and lower, respectively, than those of the language description group. We also found that the amount of change in the scores of the positive and negative affect scales of the PANAS was significantly larger in the imagery group as compared to the language description group. These results indicate that interventions involving the imagining of one’s future via the time machine question of the solution-focused approach have a more direct impact on emotional states than interventions using a language description. This suggests that mental imagery plays an important role in interventions carried out within the framework of the solution-focused approach.展开更多

Methods: 98 elderly patients with complex kidney stones were divided into two groups by sample number table method. There were rehabilitation group and basic group. The former applied the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery and the latter applied basic nursing. The samples were selected from February 2021 to February 2022 to evaluate their emotions, observe their recovery and complications, and evaluate their quality of life and satisfaction. Results: the scores of SAS and SDS were evaluated and counted before nursing. There was no difference between the rehabilitation group and the basic group (P > 0.05). After nursing, the scores of SAS and SDS in the rehabilitation group were lower than those in the basic group (P < 0.05). After statistical examination, the amount of bleeding in the rehabilitation group was lower than that in the basic group (P < 0.05). The time of exhaust, getting out of bed and hospitalization in the rehabilitation group was shorter than that in the basic group (P < 0.05). The data of postoperative complications in the rehabilitation group was only 4.08%, which was lower than 20.41% in the basic group (P < 0.05). The postoperative quality of life of elderly patients with stones was evaluated from different angles. After the test, the quality of life in the rehabilitation group was higher than that in the basic group (P < 0.05). The satisfaction in the rehabilitation group (95.92%) was higher than that in the basic group (81.63%), P < 0.05. Conclusion: under the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery, it can prevent and control complications, shorten the recovery time, improve the mood of the elderly and live a good life after operation.展开更多

文摘This study examined the effects of mental imagery in the solution-focused approach by evaluating the impact of positive self-image about the future on emotional states using the time machine question (which is a questioning technique used in the solution-focused approach). This suggests that mental imagery plays an important role in interventions carried out within the framework of the solution-focused approach.

文摘Ants show collective and individual behavioral flexibility in their response to immediate context, choosing for example between different foraging strategies. In Pachycondyla striata, workers can forage solitarily or recruit and guide nestmates to larger food sources through tandem running.Although considered more ancestral and less efficient than pheromone trail-laying,this strategy is common especially in species with small colony size. What is not known is how the decision to recruit or follow varies according to the immediate context. That is,how fine adjustments in information transfer affect immediate foraging decisions at the colony level. Here,we studied individually marked workers and evaluated their foraging decisions when food items varied in nature(protein versus carbohydrate),size, and distance from the nest at different temperatures and humidity levels. Our results show that tandem run leaders and potential followers adjust their behavior according to a combination of external factors. While 84.2%of trips were solitary, most ants(81%)performed at least 1 tandem run. However, tandem runs were more frequent for nearby resources and at higher relative humidity.Interestingly, when food items were located far away, tandem runs were more successful when heading to protein sources(75%)compared with carbohydrate sources(42%).Our results suggest that the social information transfer between leaders and followers conveys more information than previously thought, and also relies on their experience and motivation.

文摘Mice use ultrasonic vocalizations(USVs)to communicate each other and to convey their emotional state.USVs have been greatly characterized in specific life phases and contexts, such as mother isolation-induced USVs for pups or female-induced USVs for male mice during courtship.USVs can be acquired by means of specific tools and later analyzed on the base of both quantitative and qualitative parameters.Indeed, different ultrasonic call categories exist and have already been defined. The understanding of different calls meaning is still missing, and it will represent an essential step forward in the field of USVs.They have long been studied in the ethological context, but recently they emerged as a precious instrument to study pathologies characterized by deficits in communication,in particular neurodevelopmental disorders(NDDs),such as autism spectrum disorders. This review covers the topics of USVs characteristics in mice, contexts for USVs emission and factors that modulate their expression.A particular focus will be devoted to mouse USVs in the context of NDDs.Indeed, several NDDs murine models exist and an intense study of USVs is currently in progress, with the aim of both performing an early diagnosis and to find a pharmacological/behavioral intervention to improve patients’quality of life.
文摘Objective: to evaluate the effect of rapid rehabilitation surgery on senile complex renal calculi. Conclusion: under the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery, it can prevent and control complications, shorten the recovery time, improve the mood of the elderly and live a good life after operation.
文摘Objective:to improve the quality of emergency care and explore the clinical effect of applying high-quality nursing service. Methods:in the implementation of this experiment,it was confirmed that the patients should be randomly divided into groups, and a control study was carried out.A total of 72 patients were included in this study. After investigation of their basic conditions,it was confirmed that they met the criteria for inclusion in the study, and all of them were hospitalized for emergency diseases. When grouping, the patients were divided into control group and observation group according to the time sequence of hospitalization. Each group had 36 cases. One group needed to continue to apply emergency care and was named as the control group, while the other group needed to use high-quality care and was named as the observation group. The nursing effects under different emergency care modes were compared and analyzed. Results:according to the analysis of the results of this study, under the implementation of high-quality nursing service, the emotional state score, satisfaction degree and treatment effect of the patients in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:the application of high-quality nursing service in emergency nursing can help to improve the emotional state of patients and enhance the curative effect.
