In 1994, the summer precipitation reached the extreme value of nearly 50 years, about 500mm. At the same time, the tropical southeast Indian Ocean region in 1994, while SST is abnormal in the tropical western Indian Ocean and central Pacific Ocean, a significant Indian Ocean dipole (IOD) positive and ElNinoModoki positive anomaly years. The IOD of the forward phase can stimulate the global / Silk Road type distant correlation. At the entrance of the Asian Rapids, there will be a Rossby wave of energy to spread to the east;positive anomalies in ElNinoModoki caused positive anomalies in convection in the area around the Philippines, thus stimulating the east Asia-Pacific type distant correlation in the lower layers of the troposphere. While the synergy of global remote correlation and East Asia-Pacific type distant correlation, this led to abnormal summer precipitation in Guangdong in 1994.展开更多
