This study examines the relationship between ecological awareness,satisfaction,and the intention to participate in environmental protection in Vietnam,focusing on the mediating role of satisfaction and the moderating ...This study examines the relationship between ecological awareness,satisfaction,and the intention to participate in environmental protection in Vietnam,focusing on the mediating role of satisfaction and the moderating effects of social responsibility and ecological knowledge.While ecological awareness is a key driver of pro-environmental behavior,prior research shows that awareness alone does not always translate into concrete actions.To address this issue,we explore how satisfaction with environmental conditions strengthens the awareness-intention link and how personal responsibility and knowledge further enhance this process.Survey data were collected from 4,615 participants across six provinces,representing diverse ecological and socio-economic contexts.Structural equation modeling(SEM)results indicate that ecological awareness positively influences pro-environmental intention,but this effect is significantly stronger when individuals report higher levels of satisfaction.Satisfaction serves as a central mediator,showing that awareness must be complemented by confidence and trust in environmental outcomes to stimulate behavioral commitment.In addition,social responsibility and ecological knowledge moderate these relationships:individuals with greater responsibility and knowledge demonstrate stronger connections between awareness,satisfaction,and intention.The findings contribute to environmental psychology by emphasizing the interaction of cognitive,affective,and normative factors in shaping ecological behavior.For policymakers,the results highlight the need to design interventions that go beyond awareness-raising.Building satisfaction with environmental policies,fostering a sense of responsibility,and strengthening ecological knowledge are crucial for promoting sustainable behaviors and encouraging active citizen participation in environmental protection in Vietnam.展开更多

In order to meet these needs, suppliers over grab all kinds of natural resources in the land space, resulting in the destruction and even depletion of natural resources such as forests, rivers, land, mineral resources and air environment in some areas, and the imbalance of local ecosystem functions. Land spatial planning is the general guidance and hard constraint to guide various regional development and construction activities in a certain period of time. Making a thorough study to find out the reliable measures to ecological resump...Speeding up the environmental protection and construction is one of the major issues in ＂Greener Olympic Games＂ held in Beijing in 2008. Making a thorough study to find out the reliable measures to ecological resumption in Beijing has an important scientific and practical significance. It can provide scientific basis for making a better decision for ＂Greener Olympic Games＂ held in capital Beijing and development in harmony for society and economy, as well as management for ecological environment. By studying of change of ecological footprint from 1990 to 2003 in Beijing, the paper shows that ecological footprint per capita has a strong relativity with population and GDP, and both of the correlation coefficient between them is about 0.92, as well as the fossil energy land has a position in the lead in ecological footprint items. The study also shows that the ecological capacity per capita in Beijing occupied about 1.25% in global ecological capacity per capita. Began 1990, the ecological deficit in Beijing was about 0.72 hm2, which is at strong unsustainable development at present. Finally, the paper suggests social and economic structure should be adjusted as soon as possible, resources should be strengthen sustainable used and population increasing should be controlled strictly, as well as arable land also should be under control used for built-up areas. Simultaneity, the utilizing ratio of energy sources should be increased, and the consumption of energy sources and ecological deficit in Beijing should be reduced in order to speed up the society and economy development in harmony and sustainment.展开更多

When planning land and space, we must attach great importance to the protection of natural resources and ecological environment, fully carry out the double evaluation of resource and environmental carrying capacity and the suitability of land and space development, and follow the environmental control requirements of "three lines and one order" (i.e. ecological protection red line, environmental quality bottom line, resource utilization online and ecological environment access list), Ensure that the ecosystem can still maintain a stable balance and the environmental quality can be continuously improved during the implementation of land spatial planning.
文摘Speeding up the environmental protection and construction is one of the major issues in ＂Greener Olympic Games＂ held in Beijing in 2008. Making a thorough study to find out the reliable measures to ecological resumption in Beijing has an important scientific and practical significance. It can provide scientific basis for making a better decision for ＂Greener Olympic Games＂ held in capital Beijing and development in harmony for society and economy, as well as management for ecological environment. By studying of change of ecological footprint from 1990 to 2003 in Beijing, the paper shows that ecological footprint per capita has a strong relativity with population and GDP, and both of the correlation coefficient between them is about 0.92, as well as the fossil energy land has a position in the lead in ecological footprint items. The study also shows that the ecological capacity per capita in Beijing occupied about 1.25% in global ecological capacity per capita. Began 1990, the ecological deficit in Beijing was about 0.72 hm2, which is at strong unsustainable development at present. Finally, the paper suggests social and economic structure should be adjusted as soon as possible, resources should be strengthen sustainable used and population increasing should be controlled strictly, as well as arable land also should be under control used for built-up areas. Simultaneity, the utilizing ratio of energy sources should be increased, and the consumption of energy sources and ecological deficit in Beijing should be reduced in order to speed up the society and economy development in harmony and sustainment.

文摘This year marks the 20th anniversary of the influential concept that“Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”,introduced by President Xi Jinping.This theory is central to China's vision of ecological civilization.Over the past two decades,China has made significant advancements in environmental protection and ecological civilization,with eco-enviromental science and technology providing crucial support.To mark China's National Ecology Day,the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences organized the selection of“Twenty Major Scientific and Technological Achievements in Ecological Civilization Construction.”Chosen by a hundred academicians,these twenty achievements highlight the contribution of China's eco-environmental science and technology innovations to national ecological civilization and global sustainable development(Table 1).This editorial synthesizes these innovative achievements within the context of China's ecological and environmental protection efforts,emphasizing their impacts and future potential.

文摘The periphery of oasis plays an important role in mutual transformation between desert and oasis. Vegetation is an important part in the ecosystem and it is an important index indicating certain landscape, Based on several times field investigation, this paper attaches importance to the feasible measures for vegetation restoration according to the current condition of study area - Qira County of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, In order to improve die local ecological environment, people lived in Qira County should work bard to protect their homehind and reduce the degree of sandstorm, More protection forest should be established along with other ecological techniques. Results derived from this study contribute largely to the ecological environmental protection of oasis.
文摘In the design,construction and operation periods of the Three Gorges Project (TGP),great challenges have been met in different fields such as water resources and hydropower project construction,electromechanical equipment manufacture and ecological environment protection.In view of the key techniques and difficulties in the construction period,scientific and technological breakthroughs have been made by the experts and scholars of various fields and a series of innovative achievements are gained,which make the scientific and technological levels in relevant fields improved.Some major innovative achievements in the construction and operation of TGP are enumerated,which are significant for the hydropower project construction and clean energy development in the future in China.
