Polydeoxyribonucleotide(PDRN)has been utilized in clinical practice for an extended period;however,its application in the cosmetics is relatively recent.This study aims to explore the research progress of PDRN regardi...Polydeoxyribonucleotide(PDRN)has been utilized in clinical practice for an extended period;however,its application in the cosmetics is relatively recent.This study aims to explore the research progress of PDRN regarding its skin repair and anti-aging properties.To evaluate the potential skin repair,soothing,anti-wrinkle and firming effects of PDRN essence via both in vitro and in vivo test method.This study employed in vitro and in vivo test to assess the skin repair and anti-wrinkle effects.The 3D skin model(FulKutis®)was utilized to verify the effects of the PDRN essence on anti-inflammation,barrier repair,and anti-aging.In human test,a randomized,half-face comparison test with PDRN essence and the placebo was conducted with 33 Chinese subjects who met the test criteria.During the test,the skin conditions in terms of the a*value,facial red area ratio,and Transepidermal Water Loss(TEWL)were evaluated at 30 min,4 h,1 day,and 3 days;the skin conditions in terms of skin elasticity and firmness,skin wrinkles were evaluated at 42 days.Subjects’self-assessments were collected at 3 days and 42 days.The FulKutis■experiments demonstrated that the PDRN essence significantly decreased the levels of IL-1α,TNF-α,and PGE2,and improved the protein levels of Filaggrin,Loricrin,Collagen I,Collagen IV,and the thickness of the epidermal living cell layer.In the human study,the a*value,red area ratio,TEWL,and skin-related parameters(R2,R5,R7,F4,and skin wrinkles)on the test face side exhibited greater improvement compared to the control face side with statistically significant differences.Additionally,subject selfassessments revealed high satisfaction with the PDRN essence.The PDRN essence applied after non-ablative fractional laser treatment promotes barrier repair and soothing effects,shortens the recovery period,and enhances facial firmness and wrinkle improvement at the crow’s feet and undereye regions.No adverse events related to the tested cosmetics were observed.展开更多

The term Jingluo,translated as meridian or channel,is a core component of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and has played a fundamental role in guiding the clinical practice of acupuncture for thousands of years.Howev...The term Jingluo,translated as meridian or channel,is a core component of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and has played a fundamental role in guiding the clinical practice of acupuncture for thousands of years.However,the essence of the meridian remains elusive and is a source of both confusion and debate for researchers.In this study,a“4 D”systemic view on the essence of the meridian,namely substantial,functional,chronological,and cultural dimensions,was proposed based on a review of the ancient medical classics,recent research developments,and results from clinical practice.Previous studies have primarily focused on the substantial dimension of the meridian system,with scant interpretation about its functional domain.Neither systemic data nor evaluations have been adequately documented.Additionally,a limited but increasing number of studies have focused on the chronological and cultural dimensions.More investigations that embody the holistic concept of TCM and integrate the systemic modes and advanced techniques with dominant diseases of TCM need to be performed to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the essence of meridians.The goal of this study is to yield useful information in understanding the essence of meridians and provide a reference and perspective for further research.展开更多

A simple,efficient and practical, vortex-assisted, cloud-point extraction（VACPE） procedure is proposed for extracting and pre-concentrating four different of synthetic phenolic antioxidants（SPAs）, propyl gallate（PG）, tert-butylhydroquinone（TBHQ）, butylated hydroxyanisole（BHA）, butylated hydroxytoluene（BHT） in essence prior to high performance liquid chromatography（HPLC） analysis. The non-ionic surfactant, fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether-9（AEO-9）, was used as extractant and vortex-mixing was utilized to reduce extraction time and improve extraction efficiency. The effective parameters of the extraction process, such as volume of extraction solvent, pH, vortex-mixing time, equilibration temperature and time, were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the linear range of PG, TBHQ,BHA and BHT was 8.0–800 ng/mL. All correlation coefficients of the calibration curves were higher than0.996 and relative standard deviations（RSD, n = 5） were 2.36%–5.46%. The proposed method was successfully applied to the extraction and determination of antioxidants in essence samples with satisfactory relative recoveries of 89.4%–103.5%. The results confirmed the SPAs of essence could be effectively monitored by this method and also established good reference criteria for essence.展开更多

METHODS: Fifty ma...OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Zibushenjing Fang (formula for tonifying the kidney essence) on skeletal development and brain tissue antioxidation in mice with kidney essence insufficiency. METHODS: Fifty male Kunming mice were randomly divided into five groups: normal group, model group, Jinkuishenqi Wan group, Zibushenjing Fang high dose group, and Zibushenjing Fang low dose group, with 10 mice in each group. The model of kidney essence insufficiency syndrome was established in all the mice except the normal group by using a cat to threaten the mice and by swimming until exhaustion daily which lasted about 21 days. Mice in the model group were administered 20 mL/ kg -1 · d -1 of normal saline intragastrically. The Jinkuishenqi Wan group was given 2.7 g/kg-1 · d-1 ofa solution of Jinkuishenqi Wan. The Zibushenjing Fang high dose group was given 20 g/kg -1 · d -1 and the Zibushenjing Fang low dose group was given 10 g/kg -1 · d -1 of a solution of Zibushenjing Fang.The general condition of all the groups was observed, including the quantity of food and water intake, swimming time, length of femur, and weight of the femur and musculus quadriceps femoris. The total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD), glutathione peroxi- dase (GSH-Px), and methane dicarboxylic aldehyde (MDA) activities in the brain tissues were detected. RESULTS: Zibushenjing Fang could improve the manifestation of kidney essence insufficiency, increase the quantity of food and water intake, swimming time, femur length, and femur and musculus quadriceps femoris weight. It could also regulate the activities of T-SOD, GSH-Px, and MDA in brain tissue. CONCLUSION: Zibushenjing Fang may play an important role in treating kidney essence insufficiency syndrome by promoting body development and improving brain tissue antioxidation.展开更多
Although the "predictability barrier" is a scientific problem brought forward during the middle 1990’s,it has yet to be clearly understood.In this paper,the authors used model results to study the "pre...Although the "predictability barrier" is a scientific problem brought forward during the middle 1990’s,it has yet to be clearly understood.In this paper,the authors used model results to study the "predictability barrier" of some atmospheric (climatic) systems,including the equatorial Pacific sea surface temperature (SST),East Asia trough (EAT),and South Asia wind field (monsoon).It is shown that the "predictability barrier" appeared not only in predicting the SST in the equatorial Pacific,but also in predicting the atmospheric circulation systems,such as the EAT and the monsoon.The "predictability barrier" for predicting the different climate systems appeared not only in spring,but also in different seasons.It appeared in spring for the equatorial Pacific SST,in summer for the EAT,and in fall and winter for the monsoon.Further analyses showed that the fundamental physical essence of the "predictability barrier" is the seasonal variability characteristics of the atmospheric (climate) system.The "predictability barrier" would occur when the system was at its weakest or worst continuous phase.Furthermore,the models and error patterns also had an important impact on the "predictability barrier";good models and special error patterns can minimize the "predictability barrier".展开更多

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the safety of hair essence containing 0.05%purified bee venom(HE-PBV)on the skin and eyes of New Zealand White rabbits.METHODS:HE-PBV which contained 0.05%PBV,purified water,and glycerin,was u...OBJECTIVE:To investigate the safety of hair essence containing 0.05%purified bee venom(HE-PBV)on the skin and eyes of New Zealand White rabbits.METHODS:HE-PBV which contained 0.05%PBV,purified water,and glycerin,was used as the test substance.The skin-irritation test(SIT)and eye-irritation test(EIT)were conducted according to the Draize method.On the SIT,HE-PBV(0.5 m L)dropped gauze was attached both intact and abraded skin for 24 h.The other side of the skin was used as control.After 24 and 72 h,the treatment site was observed and scored according to evaluation criteria for skin reactions.On the EIT,the rabbits were divided into two groups:eye-washed(three rabbits)and non-eye-washed(six rabbits).HE-PBV(0.1 m L)was squirted into the right eye of rabbits.The left eye was untreated and used as a control.Then,20-30-s later,the eyes of rabbits in the eye-washed group were washed with^50 m L of physiologic(0.9%)salt solution.Then,1,2,3,4 and 7 d after the start of the EIT,the eyes and behavior of the rabbits were observed.The degree of eye irritation elicited by HE-PBV was determined in three steps and then the criteria of the classification of eye-irritation scores.RESULTS:The SIT revealed erythema and edema at the site of HE-PBV application.At 72 h,the body weight of rabbits was reduced slightly,but other symptoms(except erythema and edema)were not observed.The Primary Irritation Index score was0.6,and HE-PBV was deemed to be a slight irritant.The EIT did not show mortality or body-weight fluctuation,but hyperemic conjunctiva and eyelid closure were noted after HE-PBV administration.Except for these results,the score for the ophthalmic response on days 1,2,3,4 and 7 was 0,and HE-PBV was deemed to be a non-irritant.CONCLUSION:These data suggest that HE-PBV did not elicit eye irritation,but was a slight irritant to the skin of rabbits;the latter slight would have been due to the excipients used in manufacture of the hair essence because PBV has been shown to be safe.展开更多

Aristotle＇s idea as conceptualized by Asouzu as Philosophy of Essence has been the central instrument for bifurcation and polarization of all entities into classes, such as： Essence and Accident, Matter and Form, Cause and Effect, Rationalism and Empiricism etc. This dualistic ontology be believes has eaten deeply into the mind of Western scholars to perceive science dualistically. In view of the above, the disagreement with Aristotle＇s compartmentalization of reality from Ibuanyidanda Philosophy （Philosophy of Complementarity） by Asouzu is an attempt to restructure scientific dualistic ontology into one unified, non-polarized, non-absolutistic, harmonious framework capable of fascinating unity in science. Hence, the subject matter of Ibuanyidanda Philosophy is to restore the broken unity between theory and praxis that exists in science because everything that exists serves a missing link of reality. The aim of this paper is to critically examine from the philosophical eye, the various critique by Asouzu on this thought provoking polarization of reality in Aristotle＇s Philosophy of Essence. We are of the view that Aristotle had to balkanize reality to solve the various problems of his era. Thus, if applied to contemporary scientific issues, it will lead us to no unity and growth in science. Furthermore, from Ibuanyidanda＇s perspective, we are of the view that its nature of harmonious non-polarized ontology is a breakthrough to contemporary scientific issues especially the debate within macro physics, theory of relativity, and sub-atomic particles physics （Quantum Mechanics）.展开更多

This paper takes new consumption phenomena in the digital media-dominated polymedia environment as the object of study to review the theoretical history of “mediatization,” and explores new consumption’s emergence, essence, and related issues systematically through deductive reasoning. More specifically, this paper is to first interpret the mediatization theory and then analyze two dimensions(i.e., the formation of mediatized consumption and the resultant reinvention of practice rules) from the perspective of media affordances. On this basis, we conclude mediatized consumption’s essence, forms, and practice rules. This study indicates that new consumption is essentially mediatized consumption, which concerns “media-shaped consumption” and “consumption-shaped media,” and that new consumption has two representations;consumption-oriented media and banal consumption. Media affordances make new consumption fields human-oriented, connecting “people” and “things,” and are becoming a major contributor to the formation of mediatized consumption. Thus, the practice rules concerning “people, goods, and fields” in the new consumption sector are reinvented;the social interactions in the “middle region” are highlighted;the imaginative, narrative, and social characteristics of goods are emphasized;and the cross-field integration of consumption is realized.展开更多

Long-term treatment with Cs-4 or CE at equivalent human doses improved antioxidant status in various tissues, as evidenced by the enhancement of mitochondrial glutathione redox status in the brain, liver, heart, and kidney of mice. Cs-4 or CE treatment also produced an immunomodulatory action, as indicated by the potentiation of Concanavalin A-/lipopolysaccharide-induced proliferation of mouse splenocytes <i></i></span><i><i><span style="font-family:Verdana;">ex vivo</span></i><span style="font-family:Verdana;"></span></i>. While doubling of the equivalent human doses of Cs-4 and CE did not further enhance their antioxidant or immunopotentiating effects, the combined treatment with Cs-4 and CE at their respective equivalent human doses produced an additive effect, with the extents of stimulation being larger than those produced by Cs-4 or CE alone. The results have demonstrated for the first time that the combined use of Cs-4 and CE can produce an additive effect on both antioxidation and immunopotentiation that cannot otherwise be achieved by increasing the equivalent human doses of Cs-4 or CE alone.展开更多

文摘Polydeoxyribonucleotide(PDRN)has been utilized in clinical practice for an extended period;however,its application in the cosmetics is relatively recent.This study aims to explore the research progress of PDRN regarding its skin repair and anti-aging properties.To evaluate the potential skin repair,soothing,anti-wrinkle and firming effects of PDRN essence via both in vitro and in vivo test method.This study employed in vitro and in vivo test to assess the skin repair and anti-wrinkle effects.The 3D skin model(FulKutis®)was utilized to verify the effects of the PDRN essence on anti-inflammation,barrier repair,and anti-aging.In human test,a randomized,half-face comparison test with PDRN essence and the placebo was conducted with 33 Chinese subjects who met the test criteria.During the test,the skin conditions in terms of the a*value,facial red area ratio,and Transepidermal Water Loss(TEWL)were evaluated at 30 min,4 h,1 day,and 3 days;the skin conditions in terms of skin elasticity and firmness,skin wrinkles were evaluated at 42 days.Subjects’self-assessments were collected at 3 days and 42 days.The FulKutis■experiments demonstrated that the PDRN essence significantly decreased the levels of IL-1α,TNF-α,and PGE2,and improved the protein levels of Filaggrin,Loricrin,Collagen I,Collagen IV,and the thickness of the epidermal living cell layer.In the human study,the a*value,red area ratio,TEWL,and skin-related parameters(R2,R5,R7,F4,and skin wrinkles)on the test face side exhibited greater improvement compared to the control face side with statistically significant differences.Additionally,subject selfassessments revealed high satisfaction with the PDRN essence.The PDRN essence applied after non-ablative fractional laser treatment promotes barrier repair and soothing effects,shortens the recovery period,and enhances facial firmness and wrinkle improvement at the crow’s feet and undereye regions.No adverse events related to the tested cosmetics were observed.

文摘Traditional Mongolian medicine(TMM)integrates Tibetan and Chinese medicine with indigenous Mongolian practices,focusing on the balance of three core essences:Khii,Shar,and Badgan,derived from the Five Elements-earth,water,fire,wind,and space.These essences regulate both physical and psychological processes,and their imbalance,often caused by diet,behavior,or environment,leads to disease.TMM utilizes holistic diagnostic methods such as pulse diagnosis,visual inspection,and lifestyle evaluation to identify imbalances of three essences.Treatments include herbal remedies,dietary adjustments,behavior modification,and accessory therapies like moxibustion and massage to restore balance.This mini review examines the philosophical underpinnings,diagnostic techniques,and therapeutic strategies to Khii,Shar,and Badgan,highlighting their importance in both traditional and modern integrative healthcare.

文摘The term Jingluo,translated as meridian or channel,is a core component of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and has played a fundamental role in guiding the clinical practice of acupuncture for thousands of years.However,the essence of the meridian remains elusive and is a source of both confusion and debate for researchers.In this study,a“4 D”systemic view on the essence of the meridian,namely substantial,functional,chronological,and cultural dimensions,was proposed based on a review of the ancient medical classics,recent research developments,and results from clinical practice.Previous studies have primarily focused on the substantial dimension of the meridian system,with scant interpretation about its functional domain.Neither systemic data nor evaluations have been adequately documented.Additionally,a limited but increasing number of studies have focused on the chronological and cultural dimensions.More investigations that embody the holistic concept of TCM and integrate the systemic modes and advanced techniques with dominant diseases of TCM need to be performed to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the essence of meridians.The goal of this study is to yield useful information in understanding the essence of meridians and provide a reference and perspective for further research.

文摘Human beings have no absolute,fixed essence. The essence of human beings is the combination of an innate substrate and acquired creation. As the degree of machine intelligence in the development of human society continues to increase,human beings are constantly changing and creating their own essence,and they are also constantly liberated from the bondage of a certain single old essence,creating and enriching the richer and more diverse aspects of its essence. The transformation of labor from its alienation to its return is also a transformation of labor from the centralized form to the non-centralized form of human essence according to Karl Marx. The new fusion of artificial intelligence and bioengineering will lead to a new tracks of evolution that"reshapes and regenerates"life itself. This new evolutionary path will fuse the two-track evolution,biological evolution and cultural evolution,which have been relatively isolated in the traditional sense. If human beings are able to work hard together to design and implement a new social system that adapts to the future intelligent development,then what the comprehensive development of intelligence bring human beings about would be not a disaster,but a bright future.

文摘This study aimed to establish a rapid analytical method to determine antioxidants in essence. A simple,efficient and practical, vortex-assisted, cloud-point extraction（VACPE） procedure is proposed for extracting and pre-concentrating four different of synthetic phenolic antioxidants（SPAs）, propyl gallate（PG）, tert-butylhydroquinone（TBHQ）, butylated hydroxyanisole（BHA）, butylated hydroxytoluene（BHT） in essence prior to high performance liquid chromatography（HPLC） analysis. The non-ionic surfactant, fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether-9（AEO-9）, was used as extractant and vortex-mixing was utilized to reduce extraction time and improve extraction efficiency. The effective parameters of the extraction process, such as volume of extraction solvent, pH, vortex-mixing time, equilibration temperature and time, were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the linear range of PG, TBHQ,BHA and BHT was 8.0–800 ng/mL. All correlation coefficients of the calibration curves were higher than0.996 and relative standard deviations（RSD, n = 5） were 2.36%–5.46%. The proposed method was successfully applied to the extraction and determination of antioxidants in essence samples with satisfactory relative recoveries of 89.4%–103.5%. The results confirmed the SPAs of essence could be effectively monitored by this method and also established good reference criteria for essence.
文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Zibushenjing Fang (formula for tonifying the kidney essence) on skeletal development and brain tissue antioxidation in mice with kidney essence insufficiency. METHODS: Fifty male Kunming mice were randomly divided into five groups: normal group, model group, Jinkuishenqi Wan group, Zibushenjing Fang high dose group, and Zibushenjing Fang low dose group, with 10 mice in each group. The model of kidney essence insufficiency syndrome was established in all the mice except the normal group by using a cat to threaten the mice and by swimming until exhaustion daily which lasted about 21 days. Mice in the model group were administered 20 mL/ kg -1 · d -1 of normal saline intragastrically. The Jinkuishenqi Wan group was given 2.7 g/kg-1 · d-1 ofa solution of Jinkuishenqi Wan. The Zibushenjing Fang high dose group was given 20 g/kg -1 · d -1 and the Zibushenjing Fang low dose group was given 10 g/kg -1 · d -1 of a solution of Zibushenjing Fang.The general condition of all the groups was observed, including the quantity of food and water intake, swimming time, length of femur, and weight of the femur and musculus quadriceps femoris. The total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD), glutathione peroxi- dase (GSH-Px), and methane dicarboxylic aldehyde (MDA) activities in the brain tissues were detected. RESULTS: Zibushenjing Fang could improve the manifestation of kidney essence insufficiency, increase the quantity of food and water intake, swimming time, femur length, and femur and musculus quadriceps femoris weight. It could also regulate the activities of T-SOD, GSH-Px, and MDA in brain tissue. CONCLUSION: Zibushenjing Fang may play an important role in treating kidney essence insufficiency syndrome by promoting body development and improving brain tissue antioxidation.

文摘Although the "predictability barrier" is a scientific problem brought forward during the middle 1990’s,it has yet to be clearly understood.In this paper,the authors used model results to study the "predictability barrier" of some atmospheric (climatic) systems,including the equatorial Pacific sea surface temperature (SST),East Asia trough (EAT),and South Asia wind field (monsoon).It is shown that the "predictability barrier" appeared not only in predicting the SST in the equatorial Pacific,but also in predicting the atmospheric circulation systems,such as the EAT and the monsoon.The "predictability barrier" for predicting the different climate systems appeared not only in spring,but also in different seasons.It appeared in spring for the equatorial Pacific SST,in summer for the EAT,and in fall and winter for the monsoon.Further analyses showed that the fundamental physical essence of the "predictability barrier" is the seasonal variability characteristics of the atmospheric (climate) system.The "predictability barrier" would occur when the system was at its weakest or worst continuous phase.Furthermore,the models and error patterns also had an important impact on the "predictability barrier";good models and special error patterns can minimize the "predictability barrier".
文摘The concept of a circular economy can be applied to different business fields.The development of the existing industrial cycles with an overemphasis on economic development and the twisting concept of a circular economy,has limited any substantial contribution of the circular economy to environmental resources.In some cases,resources are even being consumed to create resource recycling.This puts a greater burden on the environment.To gain an understanding of the actual value of a circular economy to the environment and resources,an“Essence Analysis Model”has been used in this study.This combines sustainable development issues in a multi-faceted and multi-leveled analysis of the industrial circular economy model to guide its development more directly towards fundamentals.An analysis of the results of the“Essence Analysis Model”was used to find and change the original strategy,and develop a means of improving the circular economy model.The results of the study make an essential contribution to the sustainable development of environmental resources and the reduction of greenhouse gas emission.
文摘Non-traditional security issues have arisen since the 1960s,especially after the end of the Cold War,and are becoming a major issue in world security and politics.This reflects tremendous changes in the world situation.With diverse causes and plural referent objects,non-traditional security issues cover nearly all the problems in the world today and make development difficult to sustain.This raises the question of whether human society and the earth can survive.Power politics one-sidedly stresses the role of power,endangering the harmonious development of nations and the whole of human society.It is not at all conducive to the solution of non-traditional security issues.The solution of non-traditional security issues demands cooperation from all actors in the international community.Multiple means are needed to solve these issues.Equal dialogue between all the actors,which can easily be attained,will play an effective role,as long as all actors respect each other's differences.

文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the safety of hair essence containing 0.05%purified bee venom(HE-PBV)on the skin and eyes of New Zealand White rabbits.METHODS:HE-PBV which contained 0.05%PBV,purified water,and glycerin,was used as the test substance.The skin-irritation test(SIT)and eye-irritation test(EIT)were conducted according to the Draize method.On the SIT,HE-PBV(0.5 m L)dropped gauze was attached both intact and abraded skin for 24 h.The other side of the skin was used as control.After 24 and 72 h,the treatment site was observed and scored according to evaluation criteria for skin reactions.On the EIT,the rabbits were divided into two groups:eye-washed(three rabbits)and non-eye-washed(six rabbits).HE-PBV(0.1 m L)was squirted into the right eye of rabbits.The left eye was untreated and used as a control.Then,20-30-s later,the eyes of rabbits in the eye-washed group were washed with^50 m L of physiologic(0.9%)salt solution.Then,1,2,3,4 and 7 d after the start of the EIT,the eyes and behavior of the rabbits were observed.The degree of eye irritation elicited by HE-PBV was determined in three steps and then the criteria of the classification of eye-irritation scores.RESULTS:The SIT revealed erythema and edema at the site of HE-PBV application.At 72 h,the body weight of rabbits was reduced slightly,but other symptoms(except erythema and edema)were not observed.The Primary Irritation Index score was0.6,and HE-PBV was deemed to be a slight irritant.The EIT did not show mortality or body-weight fluctuation,but hyperemic conjunctiva and eyelid closure were noted after HE-PBV administration.Except for these results,the score for the ophthalmic response on days 1,2,3,4 and 7 was 0,and HE-PBV was deemed to be a non-irritant.CONCLUSION:These data suggest that HE-PBV did not elicit eye irritation,but was a slight irritant to the skin of rabbits;the latter slight would have been due to the excipients used in manufacture of the hair essence because PBV has been shown to be safe.
文摘12 patients with eosinophilic gastroenteritis were treated with prescriptions and drugs based mainly on the method of reinforcement of essence of the kidney. Remarkable curative effect was achieved in 9 cases and eutherapeutk effect in 3, Le, the cure rate was 100%. The efficacy began to appear hi a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 12 days. There was no recurrence over 1 to 3 years’ follow-up observation.

文摘This paper examines the relationship between existence and essence in Mulla Sadra’s ontology.It analyses his arguments against the possibility of a real distinction between existence and essence of the existing entities in the world,which is advocated by Ibn Sina,and then explicates how Mulla Sadra after rejecting Ibn Sina’s notion of the real distinction interprets the ontological difference between reality and the possible world by reflecting on his doctrines of the principality of existence(asālat al-wujūd)and the gradation of the reality of existence(tashkīk al-wujūd),rather than existence-essence dichotomy.

Every language learner desires to acquire correct communicative skills and fluency in speaking, while teachers aim to give the necessary education in speaking, as well. This study reveals the essence of acquiring speaking competency for learners, and how important it is to teach speaking skills with correct methods and methodology. With the questionnaire analysis on Turkish students and teachers at a Turkish university, the theoretical knowledge on ＂essence＂ is blended with the questionnaire results provided from students and teachers in order to emphasize the necessity and reach more practical solutions for the current need of learning and teaching speaking.
文摘The balkanization of reality by Aristotelian Philosophy has been a thought provoking exercise in the history of Western Philosophy. Aristotle＇s idea as conceptualized by Asouzu as Philosophy of Essence has been the central instrument for bifurcation and polarization of all entities into classes, such as： Essence and Accident, Matter and Form, Cause and Effect, Rationalism and Empiricism etc. This dualistic ontology be believes has eaten deeply into the mind of Western scholars to perceive science dualistically. In view of the above, the disagreement with Aristotle＇s compartmentalization of reality from Ibuanyidanda Philosophy （Philosophy of Complementarity） by Asouzu is an attempt to restructure scientific dualistic ontology into one unified, non-polarized, non-absolutistic, harmonious framework capable of fascinating unity in science. Hence, the subject matter of Ibuanyidanda Philosophy is to restore the broken unity between theory and praxis that exists in science because everything that exists serves a missing link of reality. The aim of this paper is to critically examine from the philosophical eye, the various critique by Asouzu on this thought provoking polarization of reality in Aristotle＇s Philosophy of Essence. We are of the view that Aristotle had to balkanize reality to solve the various problems of his era. Thus, if applied to contemporary scientific issues, it will lead us to no unity and growth in science. Furthermore, from Ibuanyidanda＇s perspective, we are of the view that its nature of harmonious non-polarized ontology is a breakthrough to contemporary scientific issues especially the debate within macro physics, theory of relativity, and sub-atomic particles physics （Quantum Mechanics）.

文摘Marxism holds that the internal essence of culture lies in the inherent identity of culture and man,and in the spiritual essence of man and that there would be no culture without man and man’s spirit.From the perspective of the source of culture,it is man’s transcendence over nature.From the point of view of the process of its evolution,it is the sum of all human social relationships.Culture has the characteristics of man’s sociality and is shared by an entire cultural community.The essential complexity of culture is the logical expression of human thinking,and the logic reflection of cultural practice.Cultural practice,i.e.,human practice,is influenced and constrained not only by external practice,but also by the consciousness of man himself.Such two-way internal and external effects determine the particular law and logic of culture itself in its development,i.e.,the dialectical unity between decisiveness and selectivity,and between nationality and cosmopolitanness,in the development of culture;the dialectical unity between the consistency of basic trends in terms of the law of cultural development and the diversity of choices of paths;and the dialectical unity between diversity and unity concerning paths for the development of culture.

文摘Most of the existing literature on the emergence of new consumption and its essence is based on the discussion of micro consumption phenomena. This paper takes new consumption phenomena in the digital media-dominated polymedia environment as the object of study to review the theoretical history of “mediatization,” and explores new consumption’s emergence, essence, and related issues systematically through deductive reasoning. More specifically, this paper is to first interpret the mediatization theory and then analyze two dimensions(i.e., the formation of mediatized consumption and the resultant reinvention of practice rules) from the perspective of media affordances. On this basis, we conclude mediatized consumption’s essence, forms, and practice rules. This study indicates that new consumption is essentially mediatized consumption, which concerns “media-shaped consumption” and “consumption-shaped media,” and that new consumption has two representations;consumption-oriented media and banal consumption. Media affordances make new consumption fields human-oriented, connecting “people” and “things,” and are becoming a major contributor to the formation of mediatized consumption. Thus, the practice rules concerning “people, goods, and fields” in the new consumption sector are reinvented;the social interactions in the “middle region” are highlighted;the imaginative, narrative, and social characteristics of goods are emphasized;and the cross-field integration of consumption is realized.
文摘<i><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Cordyceps</span></i><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> mycelium extract (Cs-4), Chicken Essence (CE), and their combination were investigated for antioxidant and immunomodulatory activities in mouse models. Long-term treatment with Cs-4 or CE at equivalent human doses improved antioxidant status in various tissues, as evidenced by the enhancement of mitochondrial glutathione redox status in the brain, liver, heart, and kidney of mice. Cs-4 or CE treatment also produced an immunomodulatory action, as indicated by the potentiation of Concanavalin A-/lipopolysaccharide-induced proliferation of mouse splenocytes <i></i></span><i><i><span style="font-family:Verdana;">ex vivo</span></i><span style="font-family:Verdana;"></span></i>. While doubling of the equivalent human doses of Cs-4 and CE did not further enhance their antioxidant or immunopotentiating effects, the combined treatment with Cs-4 and CE at their respective equivalent human doses produced an additive effect, with the extents of stimulation being larger than those produced by Cs-4 or CE alone. The results have demonstrated for the first time that the combined use of Cs-4 and CE can produce an additive effect on both antioxidation and immunopotentiation that cannot otherwise be achieved by increasing the equivalent human doses of Cs-4 or CE alone.
