Large language models(LLMs)have significantly advanced artificial intelligence(AI)by excelling in tasks such as understanding,generation,and reasoning across multiple modalities.Despite these achievements,LLMs have in... Large language models(LLMs)have significantly advanced artificial intelligence(AI)by excelling in tasks such as understanding,generation,and reasoning across multiple modalities.Despite these achievements,LLMs have inherent limitations including outdated information,hallucinations,inefficiency,lack of interpretability,and challenges in domain-specific accuracy.To address these issues,this survey explores three promising directions in the post-LLM era:knowledge empowerment,model collaboration,and model co-evolution.First,we examine methods of integrating external knowledge into LLMs to enhance factual accuracy,reasoning capabilities,and interpretability,including incorporating knowledge into training objectives,instruction tuning,retrieval-augmented inference,and knowledge prompting.Second,we discuss model collaboration strategies that leverage the complementary strengths of LLMs and smaller models to improve efficiency and domain-specific performance through techniques such as model merging,functional model collaboration,and knowledge injection.Third,we delve into model co-evolution,in which multiple models collaboratively evolve by sharing knowledge,parameters,and learning strategies to adapt to dynamic environments and tasks,thereby enhancing their adaptability and continual learning.We illustrate how the integration of these techniques advances AI capabilities in science,engineering,and society—particularly in hypothesis development,problem formulation,problem-solving,and interpretability across various domains.We conclude by outlining future pathways for further advancement and applications. 展开更多

This study evaluates the effectiveness of integrating local wisdom with the use of Alat Pemecah,Peredam Ombak,dan Sedimen Traps(APPOSTRAPS)or Breakers,Wave Dampers,and Sediment Traps in empowering coastal communities in Karawang,Indonesia,as a strategic response to climate change,coastal erosion,and sustainable ecotourism development.The research aims to assess the combined impact of APPOSTRAPS technology and the Jaga Alam Melalui Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Pesisir(JAM PASIR)or Protecting Nature Through Coastal Community Empowerment program in reducing coastal abrasion,restoring mangrove ecosystems,and fostering sustainable livelihoods.A mixed methods approach was applied,combining quantitative analysis of coastline changes using Geographic Information System(GIS)with Landsat and Sentinel-2 imagery(2022–2024),field surveys using differential GPS(±2 m accuracy),and qualitative methods including 150 interviews,18 months of participant observation,and community documentation.Results show a coastline extension of about 400 m(±15 m),increased ecotourism revenue from IDR 11.25 million per month in 2019 to IDR 90 million in 2024,women’s participation rising from 12%to 68%,and livelihood diversification reaching 110%of the target with 98 families involved.APPOSTRAPS,a patented breakwater and sediment trap made from repurposed tires,combined with the JAM PASIR program covering mangrove-based ecotourism,MSMEs for fishermen’s wives,waste management,and the Masyarakat Sadar Lingkungan and Bencana(MASDARLINA)or Environmentally and Disaster Aware Society system,effectively mitigates erosion and supports economic growth.The study concludes that integrating indigenous knowledge and technology strengthens community resilience and provides a replicable model for sustainable coastal adaptation. 展开更多

This study investigates how universities are developing normativeframeworks to regulate the use of generative AI tools in higher education, with aparticular focus on balancing empowerment and discipline. Drawing on theoreticallenses such as Foucault’s discipline theory and contemporary AI ethics, the paperanalyzes policy documents from institutions including Harvard, Oxford, and severaltop Chinese universities. Using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modeling,the study reveals five dominant governance themes—ranging from academicintegrity enforcement to pedagogical empowerment. The findings highlight a globalshift from restrictive to balanced, ethics-informed AI governance, with significantdisciplinary variations. The paper concludes by proposing a “principledpermissiveness” model that combines transparency, accountability, andpedagogical innovation in future AI governance. 展开更多

During the process of urbanization,community environments encounter challenges such as data disconnection and the underutilization of small and micro spaces.The establishment of“complete communities”necessitates the implementation of refined governance strategies.This research develops a path for the precise establishment of community micro-gardens driven by mobile measurement.It involves the collection of environmental data via mobile devices equipped with various types of sensors,the generation of visualization maps that are adjusted for spatio-temporal synchronization,and the identification of environmental paint points,including areas of excessive temperature exposure and zones with elevated noise levels.Based on the aforementioned considerations,various plant allocation strategies have been proposed for distinct areas.For instance,the implementation of a composite shade and cooling vegetation system is recommended for regions experiencing high temperatures,while a triple protection structure is suggested for areas affected by odor contamination.The efficacy of these strategies is demonstrated through a case study of the micro-garden transformation in the Dongjie Community of Wulituo Street,Shijingshan,Beijing.The study presents operational technical pathways and plant response solutions aimed at facilitating data-driven governance of community micro-environments. 展开更多

Objective:The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of empowerment strategies on quality of life(QOL),sleep quality,level of perceived stress,and activity of daily living(ADL)among perimenopausal women.Materials and Methods:A single-blinded randomized,controlled community trial was adapted.The sample consisted of 70(35 in each group)perimenopausal women in Tapoban community,Bhubaneswar.A purposive sampling technique was used.Tools used were structured sociodemographic questions,the Menopause-Specific Quality of Life Questionnaire tool,ADL scale,the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scale,and the Perceived Stress scale.The perimenopausal empowerment strategy was introduced to the intervention arm,and the control arm received standard care provided by the government.Descriptive statistics and analytical statistics(paired t-test,Chi-square)were employed to compare groups and examine relationships.Statistical analysis was likely conducted using SPSS version 21 software.The significance level was set at<0.05.Results:The study found a significant improvement in the QOL among perimenopausal women in the experimental group after intervention(t=16.764,P<0.00001).However,there were no significant differences between the experimental and control groups in terms of IADL scores(P=0.323)and PSQI scores(P=0.323)after intervention.The control group had significantly higher perceived stress scores compared to the experimental group(P=0.003).Age and employment status showed significant association with sociodemographic factors associated with QOL.Working women had a poorer QOL compared to homemakers,which was statistically significant(P=0.023).Conclusion:Empowerment strategies,such as training on improving sleep patterns,QOL,self-care activities and reducing perceived stress,were found to be effective interventions for perimenopausal women. 展开更多

Objective:To explore the application value of a new empowerment teaching method based on Kirkpatrick’s evaluation model in teaching Chinese medicine nursing in otorhinolaryngology.Methods:60 nurses who practiced in the otolaryngology department of our hospital from June 2022 to October 2024 were included in the study and equally divided into two groups using a convenient sampling method.30 nurses who chose traditional Chinese medicine skill teaching management were included in the control group,and 30 nurses who chose the new empowerment teaching method based on Kirkpatrick’s evaluation model were included in the observation group.Relevant indicators such as clinical teaching environment perception,theoretical knowledge scores of Chinese medicine nursing,and excellent rate of practical operation assessment were compared.Results:The nurses in the observation group had higher scores for clinical teaching environment perception than the control group(P<0.05).However,the midterm and final exam scores for theoretical knowledge of Chinese medicine nursing were higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the observation group had a higher excellent rate of practical operation assessment(93.33%>73.33%)and a higher Chinese medicine nursing ability score[(215.69±19.73)points>(184.87±15.66)points](P<0.05).Conclusion:Applying the new empowerment teaching method based on Kirkpatrick’s evaluation model to Chinese medicine nursing teaching in otolaryngology can help nurses understand the theoretical knowledge of Chinese medicine nursing and optimize the clinical teaching environment,thereby promoting their practical skills and Chinese medicine nursing abilities. 展开更多

Reducing Stigma and Promoting Empowerment:A Pre-Post Evaluation of ACE-LYNX Intervention on the Mental Health Literacy of University Providers

Background:Limited mental health literacy(MHL)among university service providers is a significant obstacle to effective psychological support.Developing and systematically assessing evidence-based interventions is an urgent priority,particularly in low-and middle-income countries(LMICs).This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Acceptance&Commitment to Empowerment:Linking Youths AND‘Xin’(Hearts)(ACE-LYNX)intervention in reducing stigma,improving psychological well-being,and enhancing the MHL and empowerment practices of university mental health providers in China.Methods:A total of 124 trained providers participated in this longitudinal study.Quantitative data were collected at baseline,immediately post-intervention,and three-month follow-up using the validated scale(CAMI,DASS-21)and weekly activity logs recording empowerment practices.Generalized estimating equations(GEEs)and qualitative content analysis were used for data analysis.Results:Quantitative analysis showed a significant reduction in stigma immediately postintervention,particularly in the Social Restriction subscale(β=1.35,p<0.001),though this effect diminished by the 3-month follow-up(β=1.80,p=0.001).Notably,a lasting reduction in the providers’stress levels was maintained.Activity logs showed the highest level of engagement at the individual level(51.4%),followed by group level(32.0%),organizational level(10.5%),and community level(6.1%).Qualitative analysis revealed three themes:Skill-based empowerment enhances professional efficacy,embedded interventions expand service boundaries,and organizational empowerment fosters sustainability.Conclusions:This dual-focus ACE-LYNX intervention effectively improved MHL and both attitudinal and functional competencies among providers.It provides a scalable framework for fostering sustainable and inclusive campus mental health ecosystems,with significant implication for enhance psychological services in resource-constrained educational settings. 展开更多

The Master Intelligent interview is based on the Stimulus-Organism-Response(SOR)theory,this study integrates key constructs from the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM)and the Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB),namely attitude and behavioral intention,to develop a dual-path model of how AI empowerment influences college graduates’acceptance of intelligent interview technology.Taking AI empowerment as the independent variable,perceived risk and attitude as mediating variables,and behavioral intention as the outcome variable,the study employs questionnaire surveys and structural equation modeling(SEM)for empirical analysis.The results show that AI empowerment exerts a significant positive impact on attitude,perceived risk,and behavioral intention.Both perceived risk and attitude play significant mediating roles between AI empowerment and behavioral intention.Interestingly,perceived risk does not suppress behavioral intention;instead,it positively promotes it through a“rational trade-off”mechanism.Moreover,perceived risk and attitude form a significant chain-mediated pathway,revealing a continuous psychological transmission mechanism of“rational cognition-emotional adjustment-behavioral decision-making”.This study enriches the theoretical framework of AI technology acceptance,extends the application of the SOR model to the context of intelligent recruitment,and provides valuable implications for optimizing university career guidance and enterprise recruitment systems. 展开更多

In the context of the deepening development of the digital economy,the traditional university-enterprise collaborative innovation and entrepreneurship education model in the field of higher education is facing structural contradictions such as inefficient resource integration,loose collaborative mechanisms,and the virtualization of practical teaching.This study reveals the enabling mechanism of digital technology on school-enterprise collaboration and proposes a four-dimensional implementation path of“curriculum system–practice platform–education reform–evaluation system.”Digital technology builds a two-way circulation mechanism of knowledge flow between schools and enterprises through the data middle platform,deepens collaborative education by relying on the virtual co-research platform,innovates the ability cultivation paradigm with technologies such as VR/AR,and constructs a dynamic evaluation system using all-dimensional data.Research shows that digital empowerment can break through the temporal and spatial barriers and information asymmetry of the traditional model,improve the efficiency of resource allocation between schools and enterprises,and increase the conversion rate of students’practical projects.In the future,it is necessary to further expand the application of technology in the top-level design of talent cultivation,improve the cross-departmental policy coordination and ethical review mechanism,and provide theoretical and practical paradigms for cultivating high-quality compound talents with data thinking,innovation ability,and industry adaptability in the digital economy era. 展开更多
