Both the fringe visibility V and the distinguishability D are affected by the input state of the particle characterized by the Bloch vector S =(S_x, S_y, S_z) and the second asymmetric beam splitter characterized by the paramterβ. For the total system is initially in a pure state, it is found that the fringe visibility reaches the upper bound and the distinguishability reaches the lower bound when cosβ=-S_x, The fringe visibility obtain the maximum only if S_x = 0 and β = π/2 when the input particle is initially in a mixed state. The complementary relationship V^2 +D^2 ≤ 1 is proved in a general Mach-Zehnder interferometer with an asymmetric beam splitter, and the conditions for the equality are also presented.展开更多

The results indi...A fuzzy mathematical method is used to discriminate the similarities of pelagic fishes land- ed in the 9180 hauls by 10 light-seine information vessels in the southern Fujian waters from 1989 to 1998. The results indicate that the dominant species of the communities had an obvious alternation and the fuzzy adjacency of annual species composition varied between 0. 659 and 0. 923 with an average value of 0. 791. The fuzzy clustering analysis indicates that the annual fuzzy adjacency in general remains good although the species composition of the pelagic fishes has changed to a certain degree since 1992. This paper concludes that the community structure of pelagic fishes in the southern Taiwan Strait remains rel- atively stable and the state of fish stocks shows a good potentiality for a larger utilization.展开更多

Ballet is one of the finalists of the block cipher project in the 2019 National Cryptographic Algorithm Design Competition.This study aims to conduct a comprehensive security evaluation of Ballet from the perspective ...Ballet is one of the finalists of the block cipher project in the 2019 National Cryptographic Algorithm Design Competition.This study aims to conduct a comprehensive security evaluation of Ballet from the perspective of differential-linear(DL)cryptanalysis.Specifically,we present an automated search for the DL distinguishers of Ballet based on MILP/MIQCP.For the versions with block sizes of 128 and 256 bits,we obtain 16 and 22 rounds distinguishers with estimated correlations of 2^(-59.89)and 2^(-116.80),both of which are the publicly longest distinguishers.In addition,this study incorporates the complexity information of key-recovery attacks into the automated model,to search for the optimal key-recovery attack structures based on DL distinguishers.As a result,we mount the key-recovery attacks on 16-round Ballet-128/128,17-round Ballet-128/256,and 21-round Ballet-256/256.The data/time complexities for these attacks are 2^(108.36)/2^(120.36),2^(115.90)/2^(192),and 2^(227.62)/2^(240.67),respectively.展开更多
The overuse of surfactants has made them well-known environmental pollutants.So far,it is still a challenge to simultaneously distinguish cationic,anionic,zwitterionic,nonionic surfactants and surfactants with similar...The overuse of surfactants has made them well-known environmental pollutants.So far,it is still a challenge to simultaneously distinguish cationic,anionic,zwitterionic,nonionic surfactants and surfactants with similar structures based on traditional analytical techniques.We developed a high-throughput method for distinguishing various surfactants based on the adaptive emission profile as fingerprints(AEPF).The fluorescence response of the sensor was based on the interaction between surfactants and 1,3-diacetylpyrene(o-DAP)probe.The interaction affected the reversible conversion of free molecules and two aggregates in the solution,thereby changing the relative abundance and the fluorescence intensity ratio of two aggregates emitting different fluorescence.The o-DAP sensor can distinguish four types of surfactants(16 surfactants),especially surfactants of the same type with similar structures.The o-DAP sensor sensitively determined the critical micelle concentration(CMC)of 16 surfactants based on the interaction between o-DAP and surfactants.Additionally,the o-DAP sensor can detect and distinguish artificial vesicles made from different surfactants.展开更多

We derive the transport equations from the Vlasov–Fokker–Planck equation when the velocity space is spherically symmetric.The Shkarofsky's form of Fokker–Planck–Rosenbluth collision operator is employed in the...We derive the transport equations from the Vlasov–Fokker–Planck equation when the velocity space is spherically symmetric.The Shkarofsky's form of Fokker–Planck–Rosenbluth collision operator is employed in the Vlasov–Fokker–Planck equation.A closed-form relaxation model for homogeneous plasmas could be presented in terms of Gauss hypergeometric2F1functions.This has been accomplished based on the Maxwellian mixture model.Furthermore,we demonstrate that classic models such as two-temperature thermal equilibrium model and thermodynamic equilibrium model are special cases of our relaxation model and the zeroth-order Braginskii heat transfer model can also be derived.The present relaxation model is a nonequilibrium model based on the hypothesis that the plasmas system possesses finitely distinguishable independent features,without relying on the conventional near-equilibrium assumption.展开更多

But in an actual PN ranging system, digital signal processing limits the ranging accuracy, only level up with meter-scale. Using non-integer chip to sample time ratio, noncommensurate sampling was seen as an effective solution to cope with the drawback of digital effects. However, researchers only paid attention to selecting specific ratios or giving a simulation model to verify the effectiveness of the noncommensurate ratios. A qualitative analysis model is proposed to characterize the relationship between the range accuracy and the noncommensurate sampling parameters. Moreover, a method is also presented which can be used to choose the noncommensurate ratio and the correlation length to get higher phase delay distinguishability and lower range jitter. The simulation results indicate the correctness of our analyses and the optimal ranging accuracy can be up to centimeter-level with the proposed approach.展开更多
The wave-particle duality relation derived by Englert sets an upper bound of the extractable information from wave and particle properties in a two-path interferometer.Surprisingly,previous studies demonstrated that t...The wave-particle duality relation derived by Englert sets an upper bound of the extractable information from wave and particle properties in a two-path interferometer.Surprisingly,previous studies demonstrated that the introduction of a quantum beamsplitter in the interferometer could break the limitation of this upper bound,due to interference between wave and particle states.Along the other line,a lot of efforts have been made to generalize this relation from the two-path setup to the N-path case.Thus,it is an interesting question that whether a quantum N-path beamsplitter can break the limitation as well.This paper systemically studies the model of a quantum N-path beamsplitter,and finds that the generalized wave-particle duality relation between interference visibility and path distinguishability is also broken in certain situations.We further study the maximal extractable information's reliance on the interference between wave and particle properties,and derive a quantitative description.We then propose an experimental methodology to verify the break of the limitation.Our work reflects the effect of quantum superposition on wave-particle duality,and exhibits a new aspect of the relation between visibility and path distinguishability in N-path interference.Moreover,it implies the observer's influence on wave-particle duality.展开更多

文摘Yongduan Song (PhD,PE,Fellow IEEE,AAIA,CAA) received the Ph.D.degree in electrical and computer engineering from Tennessee Technological University,USA,in 1992.He held a tenured Full Professor with North Carolina A&T State University,USA,from 1993 to 2008 and a Langley Distinguished Professor with the National Institute of Aerospace,USA,from 2005 to 2008.He is currently the Chair Professor with School of Automation,Chongqing University.He was one of the six Langley Distinguished Professors with the National Institute of Aerospace (NIA),USA,and the Founding Director of Cooperative Systems with NIA.His current research interests include intelligent systems,guidance navigation and control,and bio-inspired adaptive and cooperative systems.

文摘We derive the transport equations from the Vlasov–Fokker–Planck equation when the velocity space is spherically symmetric.The Shkarofsky's form of Fokker–Planck–Rosenbluth collision operator is employed in the Vlasov–Fokker–Planck equation.A closed-form relaxation model for homogeneous plasmas could be presented in terms of Gauss hypergeometric2F1functions.This has been accomplished based on the Maxwellian mixture model.Furthermore,we demonstrate that classic models such as two-temperature thermal equilibrium model and thermodynamic equilibrium model are special cases of our relaxation model and the zeroth-order Braginskii heat transfer model can also be derived.The present relaxation model is a nonequilibrium model based on the hypothesis that the plasmas system possesses finitely distinguishable independent features,without relying on the conventional near-equilibrium assumption.

文摘A high-precision pseudo-noise ranging system is often required in satellite-formation missions. But in an actual PN ranging system, digital signal processing limits the ranging accuracy, only level up with meter-scale. Using non-integer chip to sample time ratio, noncommensurate sampling was seen as an effective solution to cope with the drawback of digital effects. However, researchers only paid attention to selecting specific ratios or giving a simulation model to verify the effectiveness of the noncommensurate ratios. A qualitative analysis model is proposed to characterize the relationship between the range accuracy and the noncommensurate sampling parameters. Moreover, a method is also presented which can be used to choose the noncommensurate ratio and the correlation length to get higher phase delay distinguishability and lower range jitter. The simulation results indicate the correctness of our analyses and the optimal ranging accuracy can be up to centimeter-level with the proposed approach.

文摘The wave-particle duality relation derived by Englert sets an upper bound of the extractable information from wave and particle properties in a two-path interferometer.Surprisingly,previous studies demonstrated that the introduction of a quantum beamsplitter in the interferometer could break the limitation of this upper bound,due to interference between wave and particle states.Along the other line,a lot of efforts have been made to generalize this relation from the two-path setup to the N-path case.Thus,it is an interesting question that whether a quantum N-path beamsplitter can break the limitation as well.This paper systemically studies the model of a quantum N-path beamsplitter,and finds that the generalized wave-particle duality relation between interference visibility and path distinguishability is also broken in certain situations.We further study the maximal extractable information's reliance on the interference between wave and particle properties,and derive a quantitative description.We then propose an experimental methodology to verify the break of the limitation.Our work reflects the effect of quantum superposition on wave-particle duality,and exhibits a new aspect of the relation between visibility and path distinguishability in N-path interference.Moreover,it implies the observer's influence on wave-particle duality.
